I appreciate when you post news but please stop posting this old NPR thing 5 times a day. It's old and not all that useful.
thanks
I love how diversified MJNA is! So many ways to succeed.
Although at times I do wonder if they are spreading themselves too thin by trying to have their hands in every aspect of the Marijuana revolution.
Old pre-election news, it was passed in MA
I saw that this morning too but I can't figure out how it has anything specifically to do with MJNA?
MJNA doesn't seem at all involved with this, is it?
newmedman, I appreciate your balanced, honest posts on MJNA. You don't always say what I want to hear but it gives me a more level headed perspective to move from.
hmm, good point. Why would there be bail set if he wasn't arrested??
Someone want to ask that in the interview?
That is fantastic news!
Possible upcoming events that might affect MJNA PPS.
1. knowing the float
2. uplisting taking place
3. Q4 results (Feb 15th?)
4. Michael Llamas trial results
5. fed reschedules MJ
6. fed makes a positive statement about not interfering with CO and WA laws
7. CanChew available to the public
8. more states adopt MMJ (IL maybe as soon as next week?)
9. Ted Caligiuri interview (12/5)
Also, anyone want to add projected dates to any of these?
I think you might need to look beyond Q4 before calling Tripp a liar. We can't really expect instant results when the law hasn't even been enacted yet.
Give it at least a couple of quarters after the law is put into action to pass judgment.
I agree with most of that. Things definitely won't be like anyone has imagined.
On the other hand, my answers about CDB and how long it stays in the body are based on what I've read. You haven't given me any proof that shows any differently.
Thanks, yes, that is an important point.
But you're still pretending that it's no different that regular hemp seed oil.
It is.
Show me proof. Where are you getting your info from? Everything I've seen shows that CBD's leave the body within a month. If that is true then even as you are slowly adding new cdb's through hemp seed oil, the total amount would still be negligible since it would constantly be leaving your system almost as fast.
With the MJNA oil you don't have that because you get a concentrated amount.
ok, now you're just making stuff up. CBD's never leave your system? That's ridiculous. Maybe minute amounts would still be there if you were eating it all the time but I'd love for you to show me a study where it builds up to anywhere near the levels of one dose of the concentrated oil.
It only stays in your system for about 1 month and the small amount you get from hemp seed oil probably doesn't stay long enough to build up anywhere near the 50x's amount that is in one dose of the MJNA oil.
THe fact is this oil is much more potent than regular hemp seed oil.
Here, let me break it down for you:
1. Cannabis oil - has THC and CBD's (not in the picture here since it is illegal)
2. Hemp Seed Oil found in stores - has only very small amounts of CBD's
3. Hemp oil in MJNA products - is concentrated and has 50 times the amount of CBD's as regular hemp seed oil
I don't necessarily agree with your distinctions between labeling things as healthy or medicinal since things can be both healthy AND medicinal. But if we are going with your labels, MJNA hemp oil would be extremely medicinal as compared to regular hemp seed oil.
I really don't know too much about it other than what I saw in the report, which was the same as the links you just posted.
I'm not sure if it's anything MJNA is currently actively pursuing or just potential ideas for future development.
Still it's cool that they can see the diverse possibilities and are thinking ahead.
yes, thanks DIG, that is what it says in the report too.
I just haven't seen it discussed or mentioned much here on these boards.
One more reason to be long here.
I was just noticing that in the report they mention CannaFuel and the Pet Hemp Emporium. I haven't heard much mention of these products on this board?
This company continues to blow my mind with all the different aspects and uses for this plant.

Yes, but it's up well over 100% from just 2 months before the election. You obviously just got in too late.
The drop after the election and after Q3 is somewhat expected since people generally sell on news.
It will level out and continue upward as more speculation about Q4, uplisting, legalization actually happening, expansion into states by MJNA, canchew making it to market, etc etc etc.
Lots to look forward to here IMO.
Also, To say that the company has been putting out lots of news is somewhat wrong.. The company hasn't been releasing many pump PR's. The news has come from the election, the 60 min. and newsweek reports, etc.
$MJNA
Not sure how you came up with "no growth".
Even if you were in just a few months ago this stock was at .04 and now it's at .09. You at least doubled your money. Nothing to complain about IMO.
Thanks, I didn't realize the warning had been there for so long. I bought my shares over a year ago and had no problems.
Well, hopefully it will be lifted and I will be able to buy more eventually before it gets too high.
$CBIS
Yes, I plan to complain.
At least their messaging should be honest and not say DTC chill if that isn't what's really going on.
Still wondering if this is what's keeping the stock from rising.
THanks, I have thought about switching brokers but I'm a pretty small trader and it always seems like such a hassle.
I'm getting it with TD Ameritrade, when I try to buy it. I hadn't checked the DTC's website so I don't know if it's listed there or not.
BTW, I'm long CBIS and have no reason to start a rumor about a DTC chill. I didn't even know what that was until today.
I'll take a screen shot of the msg on TDA if I have time later.
I'm long CBIS. I don't want to sell. I just want to buy more while it's still cheap.
I don't think the DTC chill is anything permanent but I don't have any experience with this kind of thing.
Still, for right now it's possible that this is what's driving the price down. If people on TDA can only sell and aren't allowed to buy then the stock can only go down.
Is anyone else getting the DTC chill with other brokers?
I'm wondering if part of the reason for this falling right now is the DTC chill.
I am unable to trade and I suspect that many others are too.
You can't buy this now through TD Ameritrade and that takes away quite a few buyers.
I would really love to buy more right now but I can't!
Anyone else having trouble either through TDA or another broker?
$CBIS
How do DTC chills work? Do they last for a certain amount of time?
I really want to get more shares. TD Ameritrade let me earlier this year but now says there is a DTC chill. What does that mean anyway?
Thanks.
Wow, just tried to buy more CBIS and wasn't able to.
Got a message that it's got a DTC chill placed on it. Bummer. Using TD Ameritrade.
I hope this gets cleared up soon. I have some in the 3's but I want to get more while it's still cheap.
NY would be a major win. Population wise it would open up a huge new market.
$MJNA
This conversation seems a little too narrow since Dixie products include WAY more than just drinks.
Also, CanChew alone will be huge IMO.
$MJNA
I appreciate your skepticism Navy. It keeps things real and brings up good questions even when I disagree with some of your conclusions..
Exactly.
It's a LoC not an exchange. The shares haven't been sold to the lending company, they are just there as collateral.
I'm not sure we know for a fact that that is what the shares were created for (do we?) but if that speculation is accurate then it's not dilution until the shares are sold. Which wouldn't happen unless MJNA defaulted on money borrowed from the LoC.
I am long CBIS and I've been following along for over a year. I love when people are excited over a stock but c'mon. How about a sober look at this company. There is both good and bad.
You're posts have become meaningless at best because you cheerlead no matter what's going on.
I know there are some that will grow it, especially the ones who have been around a while, but there are many many many more who will choose to buy it and products made with it.
There are a large range of people between the 1% and those on food stamps. Those people buy whatever the marketing people tell them to buy, even if it is way more expensive than if they made it themselves.
Also, sorry I can't reply privately, I'm not on a premium membership.
People buy water and you can get it free from the tap.
People buy veggies, even when they could grow their own.
People will continue to buy MMJ products even when they can grow their own.
Thanks, I've had no problems trading MJNA and CBIS with TDAmeritrade so I don't think it's the sector, but for some reason they won't let me buy PHOT. Maybe I need to check out scottrade though.
Do you use TD Ameritrade? I tried a limit order and it didn't work so I called TD Ameritrade and they said that the company is asking for it to be traded by physical certificates so they aren't allowing any new buys at this time.
bummer. I was really hoping to try to get in today.
Tried taking a position today but TDAmeritrade won't let me buy this. :(
It says "Opening transactions for this security are not accepted."
What are the charts saying now? Are we going to be bearish for a bit? What are you thinking for a bounce point this time around?
