you should try keeping your head real close to the nozzle when you pump gas.. just about makes you keel over. Better yet, spill some all over yourself, including soaking your shoes, and then go to a party not giving a shit. Figure the smell will just go away. You will be real popular..
You just want to give me some stock. Well, a quick search on "BJ" yields:
Carbon Jungle (CBJG). The moderator is "radiohead" and he says it is a minign SHell. ? Seems worthless to me. DOes not meet my criteria...
Subjex Corporation (sbjx) floater startup company. bad financials, bad chart.
Global Transnet, Inc. (GBJT). Performed a 5:1 FS. More acronyms. What is an "FS". Seems like a POS.
Don't know what you are talking about there guy.
these acronyms.. what is a BJ? EOM.
check out seeking alpha.. Chris' response...
Me:
so what do you think of my "negativism" now Chris?
him:
Hey John,
Yep, it looks like you were right, and I was wrong, at least on this iteration of uWink.
Thanks for bringing some good tidings!
this has been an interesting experience...
I am averaged to about .04..!!!!
I think it is sneaky in that they made no real attempt to make the idea of the restaurants supporting a software company work. just did not see them doing the things that a software company needs to do to be successful. Lastly, they made no real attempt to cut costs.
Maybe I can explain. I think that what Netman is saying is that he intends to buy more "tech side" shares, meaning the tech side of the company as opposed to the software sales side. I am not sure of these purchases would result in getting more restricted shares of the software company. I don't read the financial news or press releases from uWink, in the same manner that I d not play Trivial Pursuit.
Now the second part is really interesting.
"T BS G".
Hmm... I thought he was referring to me, as I seem to go by TBG here. But, I can't be sure. And I would guess BS means "Bullshit". again, I can't be sure. After all it was not addressed to me.
So, if what i am thinking is correct, I am "The Bullshit Guy".
He might be right. In this initial post in July of 2007, I questioned the wisdom of investing in uWink in the short term. Well, I was dead wrong. It was actually a poor investment in the Long Term.

Sorry Netman for my obvious blunder.
But again, I can't be sure.
I am not an expert in bankruptcy, but I guess that it is a company's only hope of survival.. once things get to a certain point. If they cannot make a bank payment or meet terms or debt covenants.. like a person in the same situation, they would have to sell whatever assets they have. At that point, i makes more sense to try to recover through getting protection from teh courts.. in return.. having to restructure, or be run, by a trustee. Which, for a Nortel.. would be who? I think the Board goes away.
Nortel is a sad story. A massive pile of bullshit that teemed for about 15 years before reaching critical mass and blowing up.
is that directed towards me Netman? Hard to tell. Anyway, I am glad you are stil laughing....
It would seem so. All I can assume is that those shares traded today on account of the news. The way this stock trades is as if the trade price is being set by humans (imperfectly) as opposed to electronically, so it does not totally surprise me.
hah!
check out the chart... I have added 2 indicators; Volume (# of shares, not $$ Raw :) ) and the Money Flow indicator (MFI). I like the MFI as an indicator.. it predicted the demise of another stock perfectly... check it out! It bodes well for APTD:
good going... is it possible to have a Buy and Sell order in at the same time... selling at .06 and buying at .03... lol... on the same security?
is it just my imagination.. or did this thing finally show some life today?
when do they report? mid march based on last year..
when do they report? mid march based on last year..
shit, i meant this for the ALIF board.. I'm good..
It is about goddammned time. I am ready as well....
The chart does not indicate strongly what it will do... MFI went down today.
sorry, July 2007.
that has been my modus operandi, reason for posting here, since I first posted in October of 2007.
it is starting to tank...
I got a lonely email from uWInk about the SuperBowl Fundraiser/ Party. I then looked on the website for this tidbit of news. Found nothing... in fact, there are no recent News Releases (none this year). No Press Releases since September, No Press Coverage since November... quite dead in fact.
And I have not gotten any mail from them in over 2 years! Is it spam?
Did it work?
when do they announce q4?
if the chart is any indication, it must go up... check this out:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui
hmmm. it is not working like I expected. put in the symbol and put the Money Flow Indicator and Accumulation/ Distribution line below the chart. Both are strong upward indicators...
only thing is, they have been saying that for about 2 years.. it had better happen soon..
Looking at UWKI ove the past month, this stock has formed a perfect downward-pointed triangular ">" stabilization pattern. More like a "\" overlaid on a "_". Levelling off at .07. If charting theory holds true, the next thing that should happen is a downward breakout (collapse?). We will see.
I think that at this point uWink is not really a Private company. Tye still trade publicly, albeit on the Pink Sheets, which I know nothing about. Only dealt with a Pink Sheet once, and I know they had to fax something somewhere to do a trade.
and how would you buy shares? I remember Netman saying that he would like to buy more shares if it went below .05. How would he eve know.
I can add a bit of personal experience. I worked for a privately held company. This is a large engineering consulting firm... quite different from uWink. They had a brokerage firm that handled their dealings. The way it worked was that every quarter there would be a price set by the brokerage firm and an exchange of shares. You would put an order in for your shares, with the price being understood. I personally was not involved in it. My observation was that the price appreciation was simply to difficult to maintain based on the growth.
So, if they were truly privately held... uWink would have to hire such a firm and have periodic opportunities to buy/ sell stock. Of course, it might be yearly or whatever, maybe not quarterly. The little club of shareholders (<500) would be informed of the mechanisms by which they would buy/ Sell shares.
Anyway, to my understanding they are not Privately Held yet, but are on the Pink Sheets. I am not sure what that means... How that would work with raising capital on the Pink Sheets. I don't know.
I own one pink shirt. It cost me alot. I wore it in more of a Sales environment, but in my current environment it does not fit. People are too down-to-earth. It is just not me.
GO UWINK GO. (keeping it on topic).
personally, i avoid fries. I basically have whatever comes with mashed potatoes. Does uWink serve mashed potatoes? .. or only on a cash basis....
you should have asked them if it could just be a Short Term Liability,.,...lol. they are cool with that.
the best menu items being yanked = the most costly ones, meaning they are cost-cutting... that ST Liabilities thing... which implies a downward spiral.. other stuff not good as well.
Man... you are ... ME. One trait that you have picked up is the ability to ramble on... and on... and on.... saying the same thing... in many different ways. Your enthusiasm is quite touching.
There is a feature you need to learn called "EOM". It stands for End of Message. When you post, if it is short. I know a stretch for you, but go with it... what you do is post and then put "EOM" at the end of your post so it is visible. Like this:
go uwink go EOM.
You might also consider actually shortening up your posts and using this feature.
In the meantime, your rambled make for godo reading.. keep it up!
and btw, you are definitely not ME.
he sis not provide any analysis at all... so I am challenging him to provide it. Is that not why we are all here? is that OK with you...?
well, I am positionless, but find it interesting to see how this little pecker of a stock moves. Was looking for some analytical insight here on this board.. sigh..
if you say so.. or are you just hoping...
how? no it doesn't...
this post is more accurate:

Yeaaahhh come on guys! lol.. EOM.
Chart shows perfect upward-pointed ">" pattern over last 3 months, followed by upward breakout. A little overbought right now according tot he MFI.

Actually I have access to a research report (Reuters) through ym stock site that is as of 31 December 2008. I will look at it closely this weekend. It is full of all relevant financial information. It is hard to draw conclusions quickly.
where is Canada... I am in Toronto. You should spruce up this board... I think this is am amazing company.
