I was reading about 363 sales in chapter 11. Under the article I read it states the terms are to be made public. Isn't there sealed information that the creditors want made unsealed.. and if so does that squash the 363 sale?
The other question is who proposed the 363 sale. Was it the secured debt company's. Or the unsecured pool or the buyer??.. I am just dipping my toe in to this.. if it's a dumb observational question let me know.

So the common shares will be pooled with the debtors and liquidated? or the commoms wil be exchanged at holdcos discretion?

I see this 13) $5,200,000,000 buyout / 109,200,000 shares = $47.61/share and wondering what the significance of this 47.61? I get it is buyout price divided by shares but is this the valuation. Or what?

Call me crazy but I think this study is looking at stocks that originate in the OTC market and not stocks that are delisted from a major exchange due to chapter 11 requiremets that force the major delisting.

they should change the name to "cha-ching hld"

Awsome. I have been reading the forum on the stock for several days and have enjoyed it very much. thank you.I am new to trading and am trying to absorb as much as possible. After the speculation of Lambert trying to get a bid together I asked my self why... almost jumped in @ .17 but held back. then got in at .26 with a fairly nice chunk of money. I have had the sell screen up a couple of times with the short sellers whips but stood strong.. look there are some serious money being thrown at this. but with amazon sitting in the shadows, B of A ponying up. there is a reason for this to go threw. I like bar1080 view but in the end Penny Traders and top stock picks won me over.. I cant find a single company that has this kind of bread thrown at it for restructuring. to many big players involved in the game. stock is cheap and there it makes no sense to squash it and sell new stock with a higher price. SHLDq will drop the q and be SHLD..
