buffalobobco, how impressed were you with the "tech is frozen" revelation? I'm thinking, I guess shareholders should be pleased that they are confident in where they are at with the tech. But it seems rather ambiguous to me. How about you?
Thanks Cobra, do you have a personal timeline for the Mercatus deal? I realize that is a really tough call on your part, but I would be interested in your thoughts on this. Also, what is the "sticking point" on the Mercatus deal or are there more than one?
Cobra, any report on the funding pursuit? Is anything on the "front or back burners" that you've heard?
Cobra, so there is very little chance that NVEI will reap the touted 7 million for themselves from the movie? Is that what you are actually getting at? If not, please explain.
Cobra, so this is what Ketch based his 7 million projection on?
iOwnSomeNVEI, you have informed Ketch how your wife's company went about getting funding, is that correct?
A legitimate and relevent question from BigTrader123 on another board, "Question...Is it true that all of the earnings from the movie go to Top Secret Productions (I think that is the name). Since NVEI owns 50% of that company is it safe to say that NVEI will only ever see 1/2 the profits from the movie?"
My question is, how would this effect NVEI's estimate of 7 million in earnings from the movie?
Cobra, would you please ask your buddy, Ketch, about this and report your findings? You seem to be able to contact him easier than me. Thanks!
I sent Ketch an email a while back and have yet to get a response. I thought he or one of his buddies might check this board. If they don't, they probably should every now and then to get a read on shareholders' concerns. Especially if Ketch is not checking his emails from shareholders. Isn't that part of his job? Why no RAQs for so long?
First a tech info "blackout", then it's "frozen". Plus no funding. Is anybody else getting suspicious?
To Brad Ketch, as you can see the "the troops" are getting restless. How about some verification of your claims by you and some other NVEI management/consultants? Show us shareholders your true commitment by buying some shares on the open market. Also, how about a time frame for legitimate funding? You better act or this stock price will take a further beating, making it more of a "laughing stock". Do you really care? How about another RAQ to answer some of these concerns?
And a big "yesiree" to that excel. Let's see how they react to your challenge. They could certainly send a helluva message to shareholders and potential investors by "calling you" on this. If they don't, what is that telling us? That maybe, "talk is cheap"?
GrooveMaster, I'm neither a shorter or a basher. I am a pro-activist until I see NVEI "get things in gear" for shareholders' benefit.
Seriously wheels, don't you think you should be taking the issue to Ketch instead of excel when you say, "There are now more bashing and whining posts than Austin has questions"? Really, why is there so many complaints about NVEI here? It sure isn't for too much positive news, is it? You need to understand that many shareholders are tired of no REAL evidence that their investment in the technology is sound.
hitimer has the right idea. There needs to be a collective expression of concern made to Ketch.
excel, the last time I talked with Ketch, one of the things that bothered me was that I didn't get the impression that he was too concerned about the short-term share price. I was also somewhat disappointed about, what I interpreted to be, a rather non-chalant attitude about the urgency of funding. JMO
spokeshave said he sold the last of his shares at .31. I didn't like to see that because spokeshave seemed to be "on top of things". IMO
WHP mentioned, "We are all comforted by confident talk." Not me, I've seen too much of this. As a shareholder, I only care about results from this company.
Is Ketch now legally obligated to proove this statement to shareholders, "Embarq will solve this problem"? If this is indeed, what he stated.
Man, that ought to get the share price moving up. Shouldn't it?
Or are potential investors more interested in proof, rather than words?

dutchf, another example of nothing anybody can provide to offer support that NVEI has anything close to a viable yech. Just another attempt to deflect the truth. That shareholders really, after all these years, still have nothing but "idle hope" to go on. It's a sad, sad situation. No questions in this post. Hope you're satisfied.
I'd really like for an NVEI shareholder to tell me one thing positive that they know "FOR SURE" about NVEI's tech? With an emphasis on "FOR SURE".
Was there a 263,000 sell today at .29?
"Top Secret", that should have been considered for the NVEI "name change". LOL
jjz, if NVEI would do more to enhance our understanding of what's going on, maybe we wouldn't be in the predicament you claim. Why the long "dry spell" for no RAQs?
if you got 10,000 shares at .43, it's probably not a real big issue, unless you really need the money. IMO
Is there a need for further salary reductions, at least until funding is secured?
How can NVEI possibly hold the .30s much longer with no revenue and no funding?
Tejas Gator says, "There were no revenues for the three months ended July 31, 2003."
Hopalong, I have the same "gut feeling".
Looks like NVEI needs to get this film going "overseas".
Did Ketch say what the minimum funding they could get by on through 2003 to enable them to meet their goals? I wouldn't think they would need the full $10 million this year.
Cobra, I'm pulling for your vote as opposed to mine. LOL.
wheels, you seem to be getting more responses than me. LOL. Good job! Sorry, I vote "NO". But I really think, because of the movie, there is an outside chance (probably about 30 %) JMHO
34Simmons, I hope somebody is pointing that out, emphatically, to these retailers.
Groove, really good point. You think NVEI and Artisan are aptly aware of this potential?
wheels, thanks for promoting my question from earlier in the day, LOL. "Cobra, do you feel funding will be secured by the end of October?"
Groove, thanks for the projection. I do respect your opinion on the film. Much like I did spokeshave's on the tech.
careful WHP, some here may label you a "basher" posting something like that.
jazz, do you feel NVEI does a good enough job keeping shareholders "up to speed" on important issues? What happened to the RAQ's?
Right on, sir. jeff p., your realistic candor is refreshing.
I tried to get some reactions to some legitimate, pertinent questions about funding. I thought maybe some had some input from the shareholders meeting or have talked with Ketch about it. It has finally dawned on me why many of you are frustrated with my questions. You are probably as "in the dark" about what's really going on with NVEI as I am.
