Little things that bug me. How hard is it just to say who is hosting the grand opening for ESI. Why leave it open for assumption?
I would assume that the other hosts could be the new hires for ESI or maybe another board member for Aethlon, but why not just say it. Instead we are left with only half the puzzle with JJ being a co-host. Just say who the hosts for the event will be.....SIMPLE.
"On the evening of November 12th, Mr. Joyce will also co-host a grand opening event for the Company's Exosome Sciences, Inc. (ESI) subsidiary at 6:30pm EST. Individuals that wish to attend the event should RSVP by email to Chris Wetzel (ESI Director of Operations) by the end of the business day on Friday November 8th."
Yes, looks Aetlhon is not the only one not trading.
Well, there you go..
Well, Things are going great for Aethlon... I doubt it would be bad with all the good stuff going on. And why would JJ be doing a presentation on the 12th the same day as the ESI grand opening?
I have both Etrade and Ameritrade and both say no bid or ask.. 0 volume
The stock is locked... I feel a very good November :) this is the first time I have seen no bid or ask price.
I just checked TD Ameritrade and there was no volume and no bid or ask price. Weird...
Yes, they are neighbors...Interesting
This is interesting. I'm sure this still stands? Any thoughts?
"On November 7, 2006 we entered into an assignment agreement with the London Health Science Center Research, Inc. and Thomas Ichim under which an invention and related patent rights for a method to treat cancer were assigned to the Company. The invention provides for the "Extracorporeal removal of Microvesicular Particles" for which a patent application was filed in the United States by the licensor. The agreement provides that the Company will pay certain patent application and filing costs as well as a 2% royalty on any future net sales."

Could be. Thomas Ichim is also another connection.
That's just a placeholder. It will be up soon hopefully.
"Exosome Sciences, Inc. is a majority owned Aethlon subsidiary that is advancing exosome-based strategies to diagnose and monitor cancer and infectious disease progression."
This is now the second time ESI is stated as majority owned. I would like to know who the partner is.
Exosomesciences.com? It's not up yet, but hopefully soon.
This just seems like the right time. They haven't touched their website in months and there is a lot of miss information they need to fix. This month will be the grand opening for ESI. All I'm expecting is new websites for both ESI and Aethlon, more PR on ELLSA and additional PR on Hep C start up. I also think Aethlon has partners established for exosomes and it would be nice to hear who they are. Lastly, if they do have a partial owner of ESI they cant hold that for much longer either.
I'm expecting Aethlon to make this month their kick-off month. IMO we should see increased PR's for ESI, preparation for Hep C testing, including updated websites. It's all coming together...

My other thought is that Aethlon relinquished a portion of ESI to their new hires as incentive and future payoff? I'm not sure if this is possible, but it wouldn't do much for us as shareholders. The best scenario is that a larger company is involved. Let hope so.
Great find....the language has changed.
Majority owned
"A business unit of which 50% or more is owned by another company, such as a parent company or lateral-integrated unit."

Interesting and I wonder who and how much? It also explains these top players and even how they were going to afford this major project in the first place.
Sorry, I have no idea why it posted 3 time..oops
"I am pleased to share that our researchers along with collaborative assistance have discovered a processing technique that significantly optimizes the ability of the affinity agent immobilized within the Hemopurifier® to bind viruses and other glycopathogen targets."
"By incorporating our new processing techniques into our manufacturing protocol, we expect the optimized capture capabilities of the Hemopurifier® will further augment the benefit of standard-of-care drug therapies."
Obviously Aethlon has done some testing in order to say "significantly optimizes." IMO JJ should have, or should provide more information regarding this new process. Could the process create undetectable viral load in less than seven days? Say 4 days? What's the great discovery? Anyone else curious about this, or am I miss reading?
It looks to me that shareholders are holding strong right now. It was nice to see that the grabs in the .16 ceased today. With a little good news we could start seeing a little upward movement.
I agree. Currently, the only way to pay these new researchers is with stock. I'm pretty sure they make well over 100k a year, probably a lot more. I doubt Aethlon has any plans to pay for these new players, unless there is money we do not know about. If so, that seems to go against JJ's statements of this move helping shareholders? It would take at least a year or so to even get good revenue base from ELLSA, plus moving, set up, and distribution. JJ's primary goal is the IDE Hep C FDA studies, so why place lots of money elsewhere? IMO there must be another entity involved with this move.
That's a good question, but adding two major players in the exosome field definitely makes it more interesting. I have a feeling this is well planned and there is more ESI news to come.
Interesting and fits into JJ rationale with these recent statements;
"The rationale for launching Exosome Sciences was driven by the belief we could transform an unvalued asset into a substantially valued asset that would benefit our shareholders."
And
"As a therapeutic organization, our primary focus is the clinical advancement and future commercialization of the Aethlon Hemopurifer® in the United States and abroad. With this mind, our objective with ESI is to transform a currently dormant and unvalued diagnostic asset into a stand-alone organization that contributes measurable asset value to Aethlon shareholders, yet does not dilute our team's focus away from advancing first-in-class therapeutic devices. It also became clear that the launch of ESI might allow us to leverage recent valuations that have been awarded to molecular diagnostic organizations with novel technology strategies."
Truthteller, Hypothetically thinking, Another possible thought then would be that Aethlon is purposely creating Exosome Sciences Inc. as a separate entity/company, so that if a buy-out occurs with Exosome Sciences Inc., Aethlon would not be effected. With that thought, Aethlon stays safe and it's a win-win for the shareholders. IMO..Is this a possibility?
I agree PhilB1. Aethlon is purposely not updating their website. I believe there will be a lot of changes in the near future.
For the past few years or so we have seen:
ELLSA™ Exosome Assay
"As our focus is directed towards advancing the pipeline of Aethlon ADAPT™ system therapies, we plan to license or sell this technology to an organization already established in the research diagnostics field."
No one jumped on ELLSA then, so why now?
Now recently, there has been a huge direction change with the formal introduction of Exosome Sciences Inc. (Including a new home in Langhorne, Pennsylvania)and two "best-known researchers in the exosome field" now hired by Aethlon.
IMO two "best-known researchers" don't jump over to Aethlon unless they see something big in the works. I also think JJ is slowly leading up to bigger news. We haven't heard much of Exosome Sciences lately and just maybe they have been really busy and have other developments in the works. I don't think it's just ELLSA that caused to major players to make such a big move. again IMO.
As some may know Dr. Taylor just did a presentation at MD Anderson back in Nov. 2012.
"November 14, 2012: "Exosomes: Mediators and Biomarkers of Disease" Douglas Taylor, Ph.D., University of Louisville"
http://www.mdanderson.org/education-and-research/research-at-md-anderson/early-detection-and-treatment/centers/center-for-cancer-immunology-research/distinguished-seminar-series/index.html
I just find it fascinating how major players are hooking up with Aethlon, especially because it's just a start up company with basically no, or very limited revenue. The real question is WHY?, which I think we will know as shareholders real soon.
Now I know why they haven't updated their webpage. There is still lots more to come and probably a totally different looking website in the near future. It's all good, and keep holding strong :)
Aethlon does not seem too concerned about the share price, obviously because they can't even update their own website with current information. Makes me wonder what they're waiting for, if anything at all.
Interesting statement regarding the DARPA project...
"In addition to treating sepsis, the technology has the potential for treating chemical, biological or radiological contamination, cancer, diabetes and more, according to Dr. Timoth Broderick, DARPA Microsystems Technology Office program manager."
http://www.armytimes.com/article/20130823/NEWS04/308230022/DARPA-project-aims-conquer-blood-disease
Looks like Aethlon is saving money by not having a webmaster to update their website. Its been several months now with no updated information on their site. Guess they don't really care what people read or even gaining possible new shareholders with updated information. They can give me a call and I would do it for free :)
Guess I should read from the top. Thanks.
Your right. It's just starting and we have over a year or more before we start seeing major movement. Again, no major announcements. Just sit back for two more years. Hopefully we see more movement with the sepsis grant.
Well, I guess it's safe to assume there will be no big announcement. Looks like Aethlon is getting things ready for the FDA study and India treatments. We may get lucky and get some updated Darpa sepsis news. Either way, things are looking up. IMO.
