Very true. All they need to do is execute their plan.
I hope that is not the case, but it's certainly possible. I am ok with that IF we can get a definitive announcement on when the second and third processors will be done or if they finalize a agreement with RT, WM... The Modern Recycling landfill in Lewiston is less that 5 minutes from from the Niagara Falls plant. I wonder if JB has approached them. If anyone wants to google that, I think it is about 5 miles from the NF facility.
I went through the website from a to z and see nothing that states why the second processor is taking so long. I don't see the changes that would cause a 6 month delay.
Perhaps that post that referenced a 5 week timeframe was just a bit over exuberant.
But maybe some posters here who are closer to JB could make a cal and actually get a real time frame on how long it takes from start to finish to construct one processor on there existing site?

Yes, that will be a great day.
Exactly.
Never questioned the countries demand for fuel or the worlds. I am just looking for concrete answers to the demand for the fuel JBII is producing. I have not criticized them at all. I have expressed, numerous times how I feel about JB and the company.
I guess in August we will all know.
What exactly are the"changes"? And why are they taking this long?
Exactly. But if there are on going sales, we should know that via the company. And anyone claiming they exist should be able to explain where they got that info.
I don't think that is unreasonable.
To whom? This is my point. Ongoing to whom? Wouldn't a company announcement periodically lend credence? Like most on the board, I too have a rather substantial stake in JBII. I just would like to see more facts.
Why is the second processor taking so long. We know money isn't the issue, we know permits are not the issue. What IS the issue?
If the demand is unlimited, where are the sales
I specifically asked about the second processor. And that is under construction now.

Hmmmmm, I thought I read somewhere on this board that it only takes five weeks to build a processor. If somebody, Rawnoc or Brig, saw them actually building one in Feb., why isn't it complete? According to IR yesterday it is still being built. Did I misread this board? Or does it take five months to build one?
Can anyone shed some light on this???

Lol actually I was more abrupt than he was! I was expecting a bland answer and therefore got right to the question, thanked him for his time and said goodbye. He was probably wondering "what the he'll was that all about"!!!
In my novice opinion, I can't imagine a business proceeding with the construction of a production machine unless they had plans for it's use. So I am quite comfortable with JBII. It might not be as fast as some may like, but it's happening!
I hope not. I have seen a number of posts claiming to know how long it takes. But John Zervas took my call and answered my question. He said it is under construction.
Well, I just got off the phone with John Zervas, investor relations, the second processor is currently under construction. He could not give me a timetable for it's completion, but it is underway.

Now THAT is very relevant and great info!
Nice dream. I would be happy to see the second processor on-line and producing fuel at full capacity with signed contracts for the fuel. JV's, p2o ships... Are quite a ways down the road. IMO
Hey Brig, did you happen to ask JB how far along the second and third processors are in their construction? do you know of anyone who has actually had a chance to see processor #2 or #3?
Has anyone one on this board viewed them? If so how far along are they?

My point exactly. Many "think" this or that is or might happen, but I am more focused on what we know.
Signed deals are reality. How much more was sold to Oxy? I missed the announcement of the agreement.
I appreciate all the enthusiasm from many of you, but what we HAVE at the moment is a one time deal with Oxy and a small deal with CoCo Paving. That's it. The rest is nothing but speculation and wishful thinking. I am very hopeful, but I will temper my enthusiasm until REAL announcements from JBII are announced.
60, 90, or however many processors people want to fantasize about are nice, but I would like to see signed deals that's would require the first 2 processors to run at full capacity. That would be some tangible results.
From what I see now, we are quite a ways away from 60 to 90 Processors. At least a couple years.
Sorry, but each processor may well pay for itself IF you have signed sealed deals. Right now it's all speculation. Let max out enough sales to run the first and second one. Then we will see what happens. Right now you have one intermediate customer (Coco) and a one shot deal with Oxy. Let's see what the first jv is. Hopefully, it will be a monster with a funding agreement...Then we are off to the races!!!
I am with you, Brig. I am invested in the man.
100 processors? That's nearly 60 million dollars! Where is that money coming from over the next 2 years? Unless the jv partners are paying for it, I don't think those are realistic expectations. But I sure hope I am wrong!!!!!
Looks like quite a large industrial park.
That's kinda close...
And if we knew we would all be rich...but we don't.
I just think this was an end of quarter phenomenon. A few managers wanting to sweeten their returns and a bunch of speculators spooked and following suit. My friends were buyers today. Good for them! Wush I had more free cash :(
My friends were buyers today. Wish I had some dry powder:(
I hear you all the way. Like most on this board I have owned stock in dozens of companies, but I don't remember any annual meetings being replayed on the company website.
Patience will be rewarded.
Well, tell me what John could have said for this decline not to happen? It was a shareholder meeting. Of course the CEO is going to spin the most positive part of the story! And there may be plenty going on behind the scenes. Not everything they do needs a formal announcement. I think John is as excited as we are. His problem is his own exuberance! Personally, I think the less he says the better. The numbers will speak for themselves. And as they come out the stock will act accordingly. And as far as the great marketing director, who cares about him doing a deal with a billion dollar company. Those companies do little deals all day long. Tell me he's great when he lines up some multi-million dollar deals. I am more concerned with the size of the buy, not the size of the buyer!!!
Production for whom??? They obviously have enough production for the customers they have. I am quite sure they will have plenty of clients, but right now they need a top flight sales executive with deep business contacts and relationships. It's an investment that will payoff in spades.
VERY well said.
Personally I would rather see the company hire a few dynamite salesmen. More PR and IR is not my most pressing concern. Sales are number one for me.
I never used the word presume anywhere.
The truth is nobody KNOWS why this sell-off happened. Just pure speculation on everyones part. There were more sellers than buyers today. Period. Big deal. If you are a long and believe in the company, today really has little relevance. Now if you are looking for a short term trade, than you hate it. At the moment, the company hasn't had anything to report. Many thought that news was forthcoming right after the annual meeting. It didn't happen. Who knows why? Business deals are complex. They take time to consummate. But if you are long and have faith in management, then today was another opportunity to increase your position.
I just wish I had more dry powder. If we all could predict days like this we all would be immensely wealthy. But we can't so we aren't.
What about existing "brownfield" sites in the states. Seems like these sites would be a good spot both economically, tax incentives...considering the past history of these sites approval from the DEC should go quite smooth. As I have stated previously Erie and Niagara counties are LOADED with these type of areas.
There are many paths JB can take. And, IMO, once there are more sales and the company profile rises, JB will not have to look for expansion sites. THEY will come to him.
And those locations are right in the heart of numerous other companies like Ford, Certainteed...they have instant access to Lake Erie shipping, rail lines, and interstate highways. Perfect for JBI.
I beg to differ. There are plenty available of closed industrial spaces in Erie county, particularly along route five in Lackawanna and Hamburg. Former steel sights with buildings are ready vacated waiting on a new tenant. I have lived here all my life and would tale JB there myself if needed.
