Interesting, where did you get this info?
I think so, or close to it. Definitely worth buying in or adding at this level. I added more in the last few days.
all imho.
Why not? CSHD went from pennies to over $3 in a few months. I think SLJB has more potential.
Hello board. Been watching this one for a while now. NOW is the time to get into O&G if not already there. As soon as I free up funds, I am going to take a long term position in this puppy. Hope I have a little time to get in, I hate to be late to the party. The sector is bouncing off the bottom RIGHT NOW in my AH opinion.

Level 3: Google's Next Acquisition Target?
In a previous blog post Level 3 Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: LVLT) shares were near technical collapse, but the chart has improved much since then after we predicted a positive reversal in progress.
Now, Level 3 is substantially higher right out of the gate in this morning's trading session. Rumors circulating Wall Street indicate that Level 3 could be Google Inc.'s (Nasdaq: GOOG) next acquisition target. The speculation comes after the Wall Street Journal reported that Google is in talks to buy the popular video sharing website YouTube, which now servers over 100 million videos per day, for approximately $1.6 billion. Some investors believe that Level 3, which was hired by YouTube last month to provide high speed access and data center connection services, could be a perfect technology fit for Google to meet its other connectivity needs through Level 3's fiber optic network. Level 3 shares are up $.19, or 3.69% to $5.34 on more than half of its daily average volume traded within two hours of the trading session. The stock is now hovering near tough $5.50 resistance, but a breakout on momentum from a potential Google offer could enable shares to sail clearly to its 52-week high of $6.00.

Ok folks, this one is starting to move. It may pull back a little but I think it will climb into the earnings report which should be an upside surprise. Then another run higher. IMHO.
I'm adding more tomorrow. Sorry Mr. Cramer I do not see this going to $5.00

NYSERDA, Northern Power and Equity Office Announce Completion of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) System at 717 Fifth Avenue, New York City
Ceremony Being Held October 12, 2006 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Eastern
NEW YORK, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Power, a subsidiary of Distributed Energy Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: DESC), the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and Equity Office, the nation's largest publicly held owner of office buildings, announce the completion of a new $4.1 million, 1.6-megawatt combined heat and power (CHP) system at 717 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The system, which is the first of its kind to be synchronously interconnected to the critical Midtown network grid of Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con Edison) handles 60% of the 450,000-square-foot building's electric usage, and 65% of its cooling and heating needs. A recognition event is being held in the lobby of 717 Fifth Avenue on October 12, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern, and will feature a tour of the system.
The system, which was designed and built by Northern Power on a turnkey basis, operates in parallel with the utility's grid during peak and mid-peak hours, and provides nearly two-thirds of the building's peak summer demand. The project was supported by a $745,000 grant from NYSERDA.
Although its primary function is to increase the building's energy efficiency, the system can also be configured to provide backup power to keep the building operational during an extended power outage, such as the one experienced by office workers during the August 2003 blackout.
"We believe that the 717 Fifth Avenue project will serve as an outstanding example to similar facilities that a successful interconnection of on-site generating assets with the local network grid is possible and that such projects will have a positive impact on relieving some of the load currently straining the grid," said Peter R. Smith, President of NYSERDA. "In addition, such projects hold the promise of benefiting the environment through dramatically improved energy efficiency."
Equity Office, Northern Power, and NYSERDA consider this to be a flagship project demonstrating the ability of large office buildings to attain both interdependence with and independence from utility grids, even in the heart of major metropolitan areas like New York City.
"Several years ago Equity Office launched a dedicated, comprehensive, and aggressive energy program to reduce overall energy consumption and to increase energy efficiency at buildings throughout our portfolio," said Paul Saccone, vice president of Equity Office's corporate engineering and energy investment group. "EOP's Total Energy Initiative focuses on energy monitoring, energy investment, procurement, conservation, and education and training.

OPEC May Meet to Discuss Oil Output
By BASHIR ADIGUN
The Associated Press
Thursday, October 5, 2006; 9:16 AM
ABUJA, Nigeria -- With oil prices recently dipping to seven-month lows, OPEC's president said Thursday that the group is considering an emergency meeting to discuss the possibility of cutting output.
"We are toying with the idea of an emergency meeting," said Edmund Daukoru, a Nigerian oil minister who is also serving as president of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.
The comments came after oil prices rebounded Wednesday from a seven-month low and jumped more than $1 a barrel Thursday. But prices for crude-oil futures in New York are still roughly 23 percent below their July peak of $78.40.
A Financial Times report on Thursday said OPEC has informally agreed to cut output 4 percent in coming weeks to defend the $50 to $55 per barrel price range. It cited an unnamed OPEC official.
Dow Jones Newswires, citing an unidentified OPEC governor, said OPEC ministers agreed to cut 1 million barrels a day from its current oil production levels, with Saudi Arabia cutting 300,000 barrels per day, effective as soon as possible.

Good discussion today. One more point fwiw, the sector is bottomed out but will turn, I think in two to three weeks or thereabouts. People will be jumping back into oil with both feet. That would be a good time to hit us with the news we're all waiting for. But now, I might be mistaken. A haw haw haw. (ZZTOP FAN)
GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!
yep, yep, YEP!

Bashers were making bogus predictions when I bought in the mid-single digits too. LOL
LOL. Take it easy eat, I think it'll get better in time. I know that sucks but there it is.
OT: Oh boy, were scared now!
I read that a few days ago. I think they will report better than expected earnings, so I will hold. If it goes to 5 I'll buy more. Oil will rocket upwards again if opec cuts production or another negative development in the middle east occurs. I think both events are likely. This is about 20% of my portfolio, which is well diversified so I still feel ok about it. I'll be watching closely of course. Yeah, it may not reach $10 but my cost basis is a little over $6 anyway. I think people also get this one confused with an oil company, but it's an oil services company and rates for their rigs are rising. Now is the time to get into oil and services as I think it's found the bottom. But then, I might be mistaken. LOL
GLTY
Yep, interesting!
I'm just offering a guess of sorts. But it does seem that someone does not want this going under .019 (besides me that is) this may be a good sign.
True frat, also, I think it's just a matter of time (very little time imo) before oil goes back up when opec gets greedy again.
Ineresting. pps drops on a sell, then a 100 share trade brings it right back where it was. Been happening for a few days now.
Whats up with that?
No one is buying or selling. Just WAITING!
Buy order in at .119 5 minutes now and no execution!
WWNG up 50%. fwiw
Nothing wrong with the cowbell, ya just gotta explore the space, man!
Ok. And in seven hours I plan to add another 50k or so. I could care less how long financials take. As long as they come, and I believe they will. Pennies only take up about 20% of my porfolio so I can wait to see if I win or lose. I Don't have dreams of making a million bucks, I have dreams of making ANOTHER million bucks.
GLTY and all!
Lighten up fringe, it's sunday night. I don't post like that during trading. Geeeeze
OT: Sorry Greenbay fans but i just gotta say, GO BEARS!!!.
Oh yeah, and GO BIGN.
Long, hardheaded, and will die before I admit a mistake. LOL
Agreed. I'm in no hurry. If someone is going to give me THOUSAND AND THOUSANDS of dollars they can do it when ever they see fit.
