WOW SVM
Remember $3.40 is target. so nice quicker then normal close, you traded. Grat's Don't walk away. Chart looks like it could retrace and fill todays gap and then some of those lower common gaps on throw back. May get a second comeback as this happens often.
I though it would stall at gap fill start 3.10, but I see the emotion filled it first time. Ps; 8 days green ways strong for retrace to be strong. Emotion swings both ways before settle.

You mean SITS? No I took an early loss of -15%, because it didn't continue at all, but dove big. You can't logically short the OTC because of margin requirements.
What is it? $2.50 in your margin account for each share traded. I seem to recall.

OK flag break noted, Thanks, placed a buy stop @ .009. We'll see if it's my first known pot play tomorrow. I did play FITX & AEGY , had no idea were pot plays. Volume not impressive so far at LATF today.
Portfolio up date.
Just closed SITS at the OTC. Early exit -15%; plan was -25% with 50% gain target. Plan adjustment only ok for down, not up. Protect your cash thing. That's -30 on 2 plays, up 35% on 1 play for the week. Maybe buy some pot tomorrow. LOL
Big boards holding 4 of 5 original and improving slightly. 1 sold, KGC for 8%+/-. Entered LIVE yesterday on flag break. Removed DRRX from watch on dive.
Actually I was incorrect with the FIBs info. It's first bounce came from 50% and nearly hit top resistance as expected. Take the FIBs out of the equation.
Your always thinking. Love that about you.
Now here's one that defies logic. SEED I played the flag bounce in Jan. and notice it still on my watch list. So I checked it to take it off and found this! Failed descending triangle, rare.

Just looked at the clock and it's 1:11. I have been seeing 1:11 everywhere for years. So 2014 decided to buy not 100 but 111 and not 1000 but 1111 ETC. Wish me luck with my new trade superstition plan. LOL
And it costs us nothing.
Thanks for the POT STOCK list.
VERY helpful to all readers I'm sure.
Beginning to think those playing pot stocks are also using at the same time ! LOL
DEWM Think it caught all off guard the 11th. Including me. Check today. Holly chit. LOL Missed another one !

On the other hand GLER is acting as expected.

NO it looks like a continued run north.
PS; the #! rule for ALL trading is;
Never chase a running stock. IMO Think twice. Missed another one. look for the next!!!
Cool I have a superstition thing with triple numbers for luck. LOL think I start at 1333.
First thought. Turn log scale off in you chart, so you can see actual price path. Not distorted one.
It looks free trading, so trade the flag steps. TIP: flags normally come in 3's.
Log scale off. Now you can see the first flag.

LOL Isn't that true for all OTC stock financials. Besides a small problem like that never stopped the darkside from playing their game before. They are in and out before the SEC blinks.
absolutely not. It's musical chairs, fluxing 1 tic by tic. They tend to be big guys accumulating low and selling high, in the triple zero area.
NO

BCAP has continuation 1 week after price and volume pop.
It's been my experience with the OTC funding game plan, that once the VCs and company settle on a free share price. The attention pop will happen to confirm to the VC, that retail can be manipulated. This successful "get and hold retail attention", planned action/move, will ink the deal. If the attention level reaches and remains in the darkside sweet zone. 1 mil for single zero stocks; 10 mil for double; and 100 mil average for triple zero. The loan is given and free shares issued.
The timing for the VC and company to finalize the transaction is the waiting period from attention pop to run start.
I say this normally takes place between 2 weeks to a month or so. And if the run starts before a month, odds are the darkside is in a hurry, so you'll see a pump & dump. But if the run starts after a month, odds are the darkside as longer term plans, which may involve debit conversions or trench funding. That takes more time to finalize. With these you usually see 3 step 3 month Temp Job runs.
Nice bounce from 38% FIBs.
The way to GUESS if short covering is involved in any price breakout is volume. If abnormal volume comes on the big boards, so does short covering.
Pull up a monthly 30 day chart and if volumes are extreme with price break odds are there are shorts dumping into the move.
It your case short reports are released on the 15th and 1st of each month. So to be sure, all you need to do is wait 2 days and check the short interest reports.
From what I see in the chart I don't think shorts are covering in large amounts yet at RMTI. But I would expect to see volumes pop as resistance levels are taken out. 23% is well over the 10% normally though of as a large short position. But presently it looks like average daily volume is 600k and the 2 day run volumes are high but not extreme. Ps; I use my eye, you can just check average daily volume to confirm.

No I personally don't involve candle tails/shadows in any chart lines placed on the chart, other then trend lines, which imply intent anyway. Most chartist do though. I'll tell you why. I'm a low risk trader.
By including daily price extremes, beyond daily open and close, base sentiment, evaluations increases chart price targets. I don't believe daily emotion is the best thing to base future goals on. So I ALWAY only use candle bodies (open & close) when evaluating any chart or it's pattern. FIB, support, resistance included.
My charts are I guess what one could call conservative, thus goals projected more attainable and reliable. As price doesn't need to reach extreme price targets, But average ones.
I don't use accu/dist I use CMF. One expects that line to rise as volume increases.
The credence I put in the use of the money flow indicator is, does it support entry/exit. Rising or falling accu/dist supports Rising or falling trend .
Watch the video I just posted a few posts ago for info on money flow.

Incase you haven't read this somewhere on the board, as you do research. I use the 5,10,20 MAs and DMI for entry/exit and StochRSI and CMF for support indictors. You'll find them on every chart link chart I post.
Bollinger Bands Is a technical indicator overlay which shows volatility. Basically think of it like a rubber band which snaps the price back when it stretches too far from center. As the volatility decreases the band width tightens. And when tight compared to history, one can use that to indicate a Possible price action move.
BBands are used for alert/heads up only. Not entry/exit. As price change changes the bandwidth greatly with strong price change. It's self adjusting to circumstances.
So one should use Bollinger Bands to expect change, more then containment of change. Tight compared to history, expect run or dive.
Stockcharts say;
Bollinger Bands - A chart overlay that shows the upper and lower limits of 'normal' price movements based on the Standard Deviation of prices.
The key is Standard Deviation. Non standard; adjusts bandwidth so breakout on runs are not contained. Only normal price action.
Example; KGC the stock I just took profits at.

BB means Bollinger Bands ?
VOIS
Had an attention pop, Which should have been day traded. It's been 2 weeks since, which is the shortest one can expect a darkside play run to start. So it may retrace a month or so more with small "keep the volume interest" price pops while waiting for ant real darkside run.
Exiting on any of those pops would be wise. Then place on watch to see if it does really run past the attention pop resistance point break, entry signal.
EPAZ NO just a musical chairs triple zero I don't recommend playing. Volume is early bottom fishers moving in IMO.
IMO TTDZ has had it's play.

Action now is just bag holders trying to save their butt. Bet you'll see .0023 gap fill, before .0045 resistance break

IMO you played it prefect, after our posts. Grab those gains. QUICK as discussed.

Weekly portfolio up date
Exited KGC at the big boards today for a profit. Didn't like the red day candle size, with small gaps below. Adjusted trading plan to protect gain. Red day with 3 day pop, looked exhausted.
Followed the signal to take profits when they present. They present on the first red day after exhaustion candle.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=KGC&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p67008637292
Entered SITS on the OTC today. On symmetrical triangle break up toward .0085 target. In at .006

WAFR
Weekly watch for possible new darkside play. I see they went threw a complete structure change starting with Apr 2013 split, now management. Huge bottom fishers volumes for the reported OS and float. The price pull down to .001 may be funding related.

Theirs smoke.
I've liked ILIV since Jan when I traded the first moves. Took it off standing break buy yesterday on 2 red candles. LOL MISSED another one. Happy with what I got though.
Hope you took one day profits, as that was one hell of a emotional continuation. and I couldn't find funding to feed the run. Never know though. Maybe there was some. OS 700 mil and volume surges on emotion days were large for that..
GLER
Shell shifting is NOT good news on the OTC. Smart traders holding shares are selling out on bad news, into the run and the exhaustion candle reversal told all, those smart traders have sold out. No one feeding the mistaken retail herds emotion and it dives !
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=GLER&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p07930940637
This was a take over, not merger. Learn the difference. Ownership changed hands.
More on LVGI
Actually this post says it all.

Since it emotion gapped up huge today. I wouldn't go near it now.
Rule #1 for all trading; never chase a running stock.
Just another one I missed. If in take profits when they present and re-enter on continuation.
Protect gains on such an emotional move. Pump & Dump darkside plays end, as fast as they start. IMO don't hold for more in a play which may only last a few days. The 2 day screaming pop has already dumped close to a billion shares in it already.
Do you mean run/retrace/channel OTC pattern ?
run/retrace/channel
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=95984032&txt2find=run|retrace|channel
Yes but if you know how many shares were issued, you could do a how many were sold eval on the volumes, during the run, to confirm the end.
