I am with you on that.
Noretreat thinks we need $40 million somebody said BARDA will be a big help but you come in at $100 million. Read today's PR again as I think your assumptions are excessive. I don't doubt we will need money I just think not necessarily now and not necessarily at a bashed down price either.
He also poo pooed compound 1807.
Today's PR has not yet been posted on their website nor has it automatically gone out on e-mail alerts.
These mfs have been pushing us around for too long. Time to move them out.
Great stuff TheHound it needs to hit the major wires.
The "News" is not in my inbox yet. Anybody else?
To sell now could be a very costly move.
Cheap as chips.
Rule Britannia!
I'm guessing but every biotech CEO must have intestinal fortitude just to put a drug through a trial. He sounded strong to me judging by his opening remarks. This board is irrelevant to him and Rosen are bed bugs which can be dealt with.
It got one paragraph because it obviously didn't deserve more plus if, as seems likely, it was also a private matter (of some consequence) between the two of them and not for public release.
Our pipeline offers major upside potential but financing it is the big negative. Clarity on that issue would help buckets.
I put the Rosen report in my garbage can and it (the can) immediatelly threw up.
Yes I agree with your dilution synopsis and it immediately would put us on a better footing.
Deliberate error!!!!
YES~~~4~~~
Cheer up everybody we've only got THREE blockbuster drugs in trials right now.
Unfortunately regurgitated news is often the case in biotech but in the knowledge that trials are proceeding we inevitably will get new news. We are a small company with major potential and a well qualified team to bring the trials to fruition. Patience is all that is required the rest is noise.
I think wobbly kneed is too polite more like a bunch of eunuchs. I simply don't get why anybody would think putting drugs through trials can be accomplished any quicker. B is a totally new platform and will take more time and Dana-Farber are in charge of Kevetrin which we just have no choice but to wait for.
Although the stock market is about self interest, profit and preservation of capital I would like to be in a biotech that gets FDA approval on a drug(s) that can save human lives. A good feeling plus multiple profits.
Through Aspire direct, not us.
With all due respect "us suckers" buying has no bearing on CTIX being in business.
If the stock runs from here we should call it The Noretreat Run.
I sincerely hope you are right as that would be fantastic. Did you have a chance to discuss the submission for a peer reviewed article and do you think Dana-Farber want this article out first before they report on K? (I don't mean it as a condition of their reporting).
Thanks farrell90 for your great synopsis. Go $CTIX
CTIX'S drug programs ARE VIABLE.
Although repetitive to us the Biotech Showcase is for all types of investors and potential partners who may not have heard the story. The story is good it's just taking time to unfold.
Your first hand account is most informative and I take your point re new platform. Leads to closer scrutiny and lengthier time process at the FDA. All good in the end.
The company holds all the information on Kevetrin but judging by their excitement I think they have completely dismissed all those who were trying to write K off before the meeting. To me K=Huge Dollars and many partnerships.
Waiting for Prurisol which could be a major bonus.
The CTIX pipeline is no doubt extremely undervalued and hopefully will soon attract investors to the stock.
This showcase is for sophisticated investors and you may not qualify. This is an excellent way to spread the word on CTIX pipeline.
If they were Ian Carmichael and Terry Thomas they would be throwing their rackets at each other by now.
I would have thought they could deliver borrowed stock and therefore maintain a short position ad nauseum. They would have to pay for that privilege of course.
Non shareholders have no say in running the company and however much they might opine they will never have any say in the matter. CTIX belongs to it's shareholders who have bought shares in a nascent biotech company and wish it to succeed not the other way round.
It is not a question of turning the company around as there is no around to turn from. It is a question of how much the science is progressing, how much funding is there to cover it, how much funding will be needed and how, and will CTIX become a billion dollar stock on the merits of it's drug pipeline. Their pipeline if it were successful would in the end be worth a lot more than that. You want forward momentum and maybe we get it soon.
I very much look forward to your report on CTIX at the Biotech Showcase today. Thank you.
I have little doubt that Leo is frustrated by the length of time B-ABSSSi is taking to start Phase 3 and probably even more frustrated by lack of Kevetrin news. He may have thought he had enough good progress to keep investors excited about CTIX's future but the long news gap which unfortunately was signaled took the excitement away. Couple that with Mako and his dreams of being on nasdaq were dashed. However, the potential for progress and even great progress is again near at hand and I am quite sure Leo believes the stock will move high enough to get CTIX to nasdaq after all. He may have misjudged how his plans would work out but with CTIX's very exciting pipeline there is every chance he will be successful and if investors see the chance for major gains CTIX will draw investors, including institutional investors to the stock. There is always a way for money to find it's way to any stock if the odds are right.
Yes, I agree it is all about the science.
The point being they could do with some clerical help. Moving on I look forward to hearing the presentation on Monday.
A perfect Trumpism.
Please continue to post your insights are very helpful.
I thought any disclosure concerning the Dana-Farber trial of Kevetrin could only be released with their permission. We have all had to endure the frustrations of not knowing what we would like to know but for everybody's protection that is the point of a trial.
I am patently optimistic and don't allow mind games to alter my faith on the subject.
