Thanks for posting that, I knew for a fact they didn't say they'd deliver it two weeks ago. Redshirt, you have been called out for your lies.
"no responsible management team would o it."(sic)
is a far cry from "it is illegal".
So I semi-agree with your last post. Still, if I just told someone a pr was coming out with no other positive or negative connotation to it, it would not be frowned upon.
Actually, they TOLD us they would be sending out a letter two or three weeks ago. They didn't say we would receive it two or three weeks ago. So far they are right in line with what they have been telling us. People like you are just too impatient and start these panic sells.
If you have read any of my other posts you'd know I am not impatient when it comes to my money. I don't have a set timeline because I know HLNT will grow and I want to be in long enough to profit off of their legitimate growth.
The only impatience I have comes from trying to tolerate the "I want it now" generation which, unfortunantely, I am a part of. It seems noone my age knows the value of working hard, saving money and investing intelligently. Normally I would say do what you want, its your money, but when their impatience affects my future I get annoyed.
It is not illegal for a company to tell someone they will be issuing a pr on a certain date. It is, however, illegal for a company to tell an individual the specific information the pr will contain before it is made available to the public.
Many companies, when asked for details from individual investors, will simply say "read the pr when it goes out on such and such date" and there is nothing wrong with that.
"What we are seeing and have seen in the last few days are the day traders who stayed longer than they would have normally because of higher expectations on HLNT than they would have for other stocks, longs who have panicked and have lost trust in the value of HLNT and very aggressive shorting by MM's and other shorters."
True, but will HLNT recover. That's the million dollar question. Sucks how a few scared impatient investors can damage a growing company like this.
Very simple, before a company begins a project a schedule must first be put together. They know they want to have 42 units completed by the end of january so they have to go back and schedule each step of the design and construction phase so that nothing is missed.
I do these types of schedules (although on a larger scale) daily and just to let you know, schedules usually slip. Its no big deal everyone is just a little more aggressive with dates in the beginning then the realities of parts arriving late and holidays and sick days tend to prolong the schedule a little.
It is definitely a good sign, in my opinion, that this schedule is out. It shows DF is really in a JV with HTI to produce the HOSS UTV and the ball has already started rolling.
GLTA
Had an order for a million at 0.0085 and looks like it never hit the mark. Is the short covering over yet? Maybe this was the last (successful) attempt at bringing the price down before we hear some good news?
Correct, pinky mentality prevails here. Too many people bought on the hype and didn't (and still don't) have a clue as to what they were actually getting for their money. This is NOT just a buy on rumor sell on news type stock, HLNT is profitable and is expanding business constantly. I'll hold through all this mess and purchase more if the price is right and hopefully be rewarded for my patience in the end when HLNT lands some big deals.
Josey, just curious, are you still holding a position here or did you get out a while ago when you started thinking things were going downhill (with the pps, NOT the company)?
Agreed, what troubles me about pink's is that a company's pps is so tied to how people "feel" almost to the point where it doesn't matter what the company is doing or has done. We have a company that has revenue of $1MM last quarter but because they aren't PR whores people are getting freaked out and selling for no reason other than they have no patience. Do you invest on the big boards? Do you act the same when a company like GE, GS, GOOG etc doesn't issue you constant PR's or give you instant gratification?
What happened to the days where people worked hard and patiently invested their money in order to create wealth? Now it seems if someone invests $500 in a company and isn't a millionaire by the next day they pull out and move on.
Of course, do what you want, its your money. But, besides the dot com bubble, how many individuals get rich in stocks over night? Not many. But the people who find an undervalued company that has a unique product/marketing strategy/market and invest for the long term have been greatly rewarded in MUCH higher percentages.
Then you know absolutely nothing...
How, in your obviously infinite wisdom, can you say if we drop 6.5% (to 0.01) we are "done"?
What does "done" even mean?
You guys need to get a hold of yourselves, acting like a bunch of pre teens with all your drama.
What is "the truth"?
That you got burned because you got scared and sold for a loss? You say you have respect and honor, well how about showing respect for your fellow investors and move on? You aren't spreading any truths, you are spreading rumors about HLNT because you got caught up in some OTHER P&D in the past and think everyone is out to get you.
I think for the most part we all here have integrity and want to see the pps reflect the value of HLNT and not be driven down by MM's.
Sorry you got burned before dog eater, it won't happen here unless you sell out early due to fear.
Hard to watch a drop like this on no news at all. Nothing has changed with the company...
I never disagreed with you, I just said I would buy again if it went sub penny. I believe in what HLNT is doing and has already done and will support it. This is a large drop today on no news though, what gives?
looks like that time might be fast approaching,
bid/ask at 0.0105x0.0107
If it goes back below a 0.01 I will GLADLY raise my average pps (curently 0.0006) to strengthen my position here. HLNT has so much going for it, it would be a shame to miss an opportunity like that.
Thanks, I guess I'm not used to seeing low floats on the few pink's I'm looking at.
ha its not low volume, we are currently WAY over the daily average volume. So why is the bid/ask 0.035x0.0489?
huge spread in the bid/ask (0.035x0.047). what gives? low volume?
I see 0.0111 x 0.0119, is that what you guys with L2 are seeing?
Could the lineup at 0.0121 be construed as the MM's trying to load up before news about the letter starts showing up online? An 825K share purchase (approx $10K) is bigger than what we have been seeing lately.
What does that mean?
That sounds a little fishy.
we have one guy saying its all computer based (which would mean there would be no way the MM couldn't keep up with the trades during the day) and then we have t-trades which tell us the MM making the transactions got behind and logged the trades EOD.
Also, how is that legal/ethical to purposely leave out huge buys of shares in order to keep the pps from running up? It seems like MM's are purposely keeping transactions off the books until eod to make it seem like there is a lack of demand thus keeping the price down.
Thoughts?
Isn't there some trade that occurs throughout the day and then shows up as one large trade at EOD? Seems like I read something about that once. Something about the MM's do this to clean up the books at the end of the day, making the sells match the buys or something to that effect.
Only fast cars for me. I am much more patient when it comes to making money and making...you know.
0.02 x 0.023 bid/ask. Shorters trying to take this down?
Instead of blowing all your money on those surfboards you should invest in a new keyboard. I think your 'g' key is broken...
haha your dog should be kept outside until the mail comes! Wal-Mart? Wachovia? What is it?
Agreed, lets make sure to get the letter posted here as I will not be returning to my home until January due to work and that is where my letter will be mailed.
Verifiable = word of a contract from the mouth of HLNT via a PR...
I agree with you, I like that they have never put out a fluff pr just to keep people interested. When HLNT puts out a pr its because they have something important to tell the shareholders. I think that's what people on the sidelines are waiting for now: A deal/contract to be signed sealed and delivered to validate HLNT and to keep the growth alive.
I for one remain holding long and awaiting the news.
Not necessarily just a US company. I get the feeling if HLNT gets a deal for their hho units to be incorporated in some fashion by DF the pps would start climbing fast. People seem to still be unsure about the validity of HLNT and are probably sitting out until verifiable news hits. Let's hope it comes sooner rather than later.
you say you came here looking for an hho company with some smarts and didn't find it. Then why in the world are you still here? No one believes your useless banter and made up theories. What we believe is facts. And the facts are that HLNT had $1MM in REVENUE last quarter and is shaping up to keep on making more and more sales. By the way, you have absolutely NO evidence to your "they are selling equity and reporting as revenue" claim and to make such a claim is libel at its core. Since noone believes a word you say, how about you go back to that other board and talk to yourself? Have you lost all the money you invested in those stupid surfboards yet? I bet you are getting pretty close to broke. GL.
Niko, care to elaborate on your conversion?
Congrats on the marriage!
As a wedding gift I would like to give you a rising pps on HLNT. We'll see how that goes.
I think it was $1MM revenue and approximately $700K profit...
LC, someone has said that exact thing everyday for a few weeks now...
We need some substantial new news to get HLNT moving again. For now, if you apply a fairly conservative PE, I think we are close to FMV (my estimates put us about 25% below FMV. If/when DF news hits, THAT will be the time to move up big.
What is the company proposing to do to ensure the pps does not dip so low that it cannot recover? Are we anywhere near hearing about more positive steps regarding outstanding the DF deals?
I agree that being transparent is very important for a company when it comes to shareholder's interest. But, we all have to remember the CEO has a company to run/grow/build. While he should definitely be feeding us news in a timely manner (which I personally think he has been doing a great job of) it takes time to formulate all those pr's and I would much rather have them working hard on landing the big fleet deals than writing and issuing prs for every little sale they make just to try and appease our interests.
