testing one 2 3
Dimension..ran across this one for you higher priced stock players..may be worth watching..
Also I played CLHB a few times this year..mostly buying at 4.50..out a 5 area..doing real good now..it's finally making a good comeback..y'all may be interested in it..fwiw.
dd
MW..not interested in Freetrade, eh?..
well..do what you will but it sure is a barrel of fun..making those little bitty trades..calling it 'right'..making a few bucks. But most importantly..I'm gaining experience at this stuff for when I start upping the annie.
If people don't think I'll jump in and out of one for as little as $20 they've got another thing coming..LOL..with Freetrade's zero/low comissions that's possible.
11/07/2003 013243489 Bought CLSI 10,000 0.04 400.00 - - - - 400.00
11/07/2003 013224637 Sold CLSI 10,000 0.042 420.00 - - 0.02 - 419.98
heck, that's 19.98 more than I had..(whilst I'm sitting here doing nothing else anyways).
I got me a T-shirt air-brushed "DayTrader" on the front and "Need a good stock pick?" on the back..haven't wore it yet..hope I don't get shot!
Good Trading to ya!
Me..I'm going to piece-meal trade my way to being a millionaire
next year!
Fingers crossed..

Chipped..I hear you!..I've got a bunch that showed up on my radar and what I have been doing is if I see you guys jumping on one..that's a 'confrim' that's good enough for me!..and I get it too..(like your EDIG at .50 the other day)..
and if I see something going, I'll be sure to let y'all know.

dd
Thanks Chipped. Hey..worked 4 12's last few days..

DD
Cintrix..that's something I guess I'll have to decide
for myself...I'm a 'gambler' though..I have a full time 'regular' job..so that helps..
and knowing me..I WILL go for it..
when I feel 'lucky'.
Oh, BTW..(like I need another link on my fav's)..

(And no I'm not going to bet the farm on EDIG..but you can't never tell..LOL..)
DD
DallasBoy..I don't know what happened to you..
but you'd better hurry up and get your butt back on this board!
(And quit hitting up on the nurses, will ya!)
Get Well Soon..
DD
I've got a question for the full time traders here..
maybe some could relate their experiences..
say you have $10k available(from $5k initial, orginal start)..(so evidently not doing to shabbily..still has alot to learn but evidently knows their way around at least a little)
and you've been doing decent with buying $1k each of 3 stocks for the most part..just when do you 'go for it'?..
was there a day when you 'bout bet it all?..& you made the right move..and have never looked back?..
Should one start buying increasingly more (placing bigger and bigger bets) or if you think it is a really, REALLY good one, should one just 'go for it!'?
What it is is that I'm ahead..BUT I'm itching to make some BIG moves..to place some BIG bets..(that is, with what I have to work with)..or should I just relatively keep playing it 'safe'?
DD
Good morning all..lets make a ship(sp)load of $$ today..eom
EDIG..
Not to take away from Gateway/EDIG

DD
Capt..I hear you!..looking over 27QuoteTrackers,
and some self tweeked screeners every nite dang near gets me wore out..LOL..
not to mention about every day or two or three I have some new startling 'revelation', 'idea' or 'theory' that comes to mind..then I try incorporate it into the 'mix' I already have..and see what/if anything happens..
(better, worse, no difference, etc.)
I am always testing, comparing, back-testing..
Probably most folks here do that I suppose.
I'm going to figure this stock market puzzle out yet!..
I do better under pressure too..
Idea!..maybe you should start a IHub board and have a daily or weekly stock picking contest..that'd be fun!
Hey..what about that little APLL energizer bunny?..
Guess I'll buy some..it'd kill over dead for sure then..LOL
(Ah, it keeps coming up on my screens..won't go away..getting to be a pain!..I say that cause I don't own any!..)
Gotta hit the sack now..work day again tomorrow..and Sunday..at least you guys have a good weekend.
Sorry about the ramblin'.
DD

Gateway DMP-X20 (Reskinned e.Digital Odyssey 1000)
Gateway, like Dell, has been expanding the reach of its brand name from computers to other electronics products. Now, Gateway has its own hard-drive MP3 player, the DMP-X20. Look familiar? It should - this is a tweaked version of the e.Digital Odyssey 1000, a mediocre model released earlier this year. Features, controls, and the input/output locations are identical. Hopefully Gateway was able to add some key features that Odyssey was missing, like an ID3 tag database so you can browse music by Artist, Album, Track, etc. The Odyssey was limited to browsing music through a file-tree structure only, and music files have to be stored in a particular arrangement of directories. Still, there are some positive features to consider : USB2, 20gb, large screen, thumb-scroller on the front, dedicated "back" button, built-in radio and voice recorder, and it should not require drivers or special software (as the Odyssey did not). The Gateway version has smaller dimensions : 3.99" x 2.64" x 0.83" inches and 7.7 ounces. The battery is built-in and playtime is average at about 10 hours. Retail is $300.

Berge..that ain't a bad idea!..LOL..
matter of fact, when I go 'full-time'..2 big players (one has 8000 of WMT and getting bored with it) are wanting me to do that very thing after I showed them a printout of my mickey mouse trades albeit high% gains last month..I told them there'd be a
'small fee'..LOL..
DD
Flota..first batch in at .50, out .581..
this second batch I have now I'm in at .575..
guess I'll just put in limit order for .675 or so and see what happens.
DD
OmniTrader..re:EDIG..what would you do if you were in
similar circumstances with EDIG..I won't have computer access next 2 days due to work schedule..it will be Monday before I can 'watch' the markets..
and as you know we can't call FreeTrade..
so re: EDIG for Thursday and Friday..
A. let it ride..do nothing
B. put in limit order to sell at .58 (which would effectively be selling it at the bell tomorrow morning)
C. put in limit order to sell at .70 or so
D. None of the Above
My work schedule causes me to miss alot of a stocks' run sometimes...but then again, there have been instances in the past where I have held, only to come home and found out that I should of sold.
Decisions, Decisions!
(BTW..At my present rate, I hope to give up the 'day job' and become a full time trader early next year..right now I just trade on my 'off' days thru the week)
TIA

Low volume but VSYS..opinions..chart..

DHB Industries Awarded $60 Million DoD Purchase Order
Wednesday November 12, 2:00 am ET
- Award is the Largest Purchase Order For Body Armor Ever Issued By the Department of Defense -
- DHB Also Announces $5 Million DoD Order for Hard Armor Gamma Plates -
CARLE PLACE, N.Y., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DHB Industries Inc. (Amex: DHB - News), the market leader in the rapidly growing protective body armor industry, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Point Blank Body Armor, Inc. ("Point Blank" -- http://www.pointblankarmor.com), has received a $60 million purchase order for body armor from the U.S. Department of Defense. Point Blank believes this is the largest single order for body armor ever issued by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The Company received the $60 million purchase order for Point Blank's "Interceptor" Outer Tactical Vest (OTV). Point Blank is currently the only military approved provider of Interceptor OTV to the United States armed forces.
DHB Industries also announced that Point Blank has received a $5 million purchase order from the Department of Defense for hard armor gamma plates.
Point Blank's Interceptor OTV is the lightest, most technologically advanced protective vest ever issued in the history of the armed forces of the United States. The Interceptor OTV system includes removable ceramic plates that can stop rifle fire such as the 7.62mm rounds fired by AK-47 rifles common in Iraq and Afghanistan. Older model vests protect against some shrapnel but not high-velocity rifle rounds.
U.S. Armed Forces worldwide are currently wearing Point Blank's Interceptor OTV. Numerous soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan have credited the Interceptor OTV with saving their lives. In a recently published news report, Major General Kevin C. Kiley at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Captain Michael J. Krentz, deputy commander of the National Navel Medical Center, said, "high-tech body armor and state-of-the-art battlefield medical procedures are keeping more seriously wounded soldiers alive than ever before."
Commenting on the announcement, Sandra Hatfield, Chief Operating Officer of DHB Industries, said, "These new orders demonstrate the U.S. Department of Defense's continued confidence in Point Blank's ability to deliver technologically advanced body armor systems to the armed forces of the United States. We have an enormous sense of pride that our state-of-the-art body armor products are protecting and saving the lives of our men and women serving in the armed forces."

China set to unveil deals for cars, components-WSJ
NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Reuters) - A Chinese trade group plans to
unveil deals on Wednesday calling for millions of dollars of
U.S.-made automobiles and components from General Motors Corp.
<GM.N>, Ford Motor Co. <F.N> and other companies, to be sold to
China, The Wall Street Journal said on Wednesday.
Separately, General Electric Co. <GE.N> will supply engines
for 30 Boeing Co. <BA.N> 737 planes as part of a
multibillion-dollar deal with several Chinese airlines, the
paper reported.
Officials with the companies could not be reached for
comment early on Wednesday.
The deals are part of a number of agreements expected to be
announced this week and come at a time when China is under
growing pressure to buy American and narrow its trade surplus
with the U.S., the paper reported, citing people familiar with
the agreements.
The agreements are expected to be announced in Detroit by a
Chinese delegation headed by Vice Minister of Commerce Ma
Xiuhong, the paper said.
GM and the Chinese officials could also announce formal
approval of GM's plans to start selling Cadillac cars in China,
by exporting vehicles from the U.S. and by shipping component
kits to China for final assembly there, the Journal said.
Ford is expected to announce agreements to expand
significantly shipments of vehicles to China, the report said.
