Why would intel file for the same patent and fight to keep it for years if it has no value?
that's good advice. it seems to rally close to 50 cents then slowly settle back to low 40's, over and over again. Hopefully the company is making progress toward one of the big milestones.
if HDVY management can't take advantage of the incredible opportunity just handed to them via the patent decision then it would be the biggest fumble of the century. They really just need to hire the right lawyers and let them negotiate a settlement or file a suit.
It bounced off the low but still a disappointing day given yesterday.
Following this stock is painful. It barely moves from month to month.
Several upcoming milestones listed in annual results:
Expected 2019 Clinical Milestones
Top-line 12-week efficacy and safety data from the KALM-1 and KALM-2 Phase 3 trials of KORSUVA™ Injection in hemodialysis patients with moderate-to-severe CKD-aP are expected in the second quarter and second half of 2019, respectively.
Top-line data from the Phase 2 trial of Oral KORSUVA™ in Stage III - V CKD patients (moderate-to-severe) CKD-aP are expected in the second half of 2019.
Initiation of the Phase 2 trial of Oral KORSUVA™ in patients with CLD-aP is expected in the second quarter of 2019.
Initiation of the Phase 2 trial of Oral KORSUVA™ in atopic dermatitis patients with moderate-to-severe pruritus is expected around mid-year 2019.
I agree. That surge in volume yesterday may be an indicator that news is coming.
It sure would. It’s not the path I ever imagined when I first invested but it would be a great outcome after all this time.
If Intel values the tech at between $500M-$1B it would be about $2-4 per share after all warrants and classes of stock are converted. Intel could also go after other companies who infringe on the patent.
I’m really surprised that word hasn’t spread about the patent decision. Why aren’t companies who use this tech buying shares? Or lawyers who study patent law and follow court cases? Or at a minimum penny stock investment clubs? It’s crazy this still sits at 10 cents.
I agree. Intel would be wise to buyout the company vs paying royalties on every application of the technology. Of course they could also negotiate an unlimited license for a big onetime fee so they don’t have to worry about calculating usage.
A wild guess is that Intel would pay between $2-4 per share. Depending on who the biggest shareholders are they might be willing to settle at that price and then we would just receive cash for our shares.
There may also be a 3rd possible event...some analyst out there picks up coverage of HDVY with an analysis of potential revenue from the SVM patent and a target price for the stock. It might not happen with the stock trading at these sub-dollar levels but you never know...
I agree. 10x or even more depending on what agreement can be reached with Intel and other infringers. It all hinges on getting the right legal representation. Management can’t afford to screw this up.
It must be under the radar of anyone wanting to do a deal. If the bozos running this shell couldn’t make a deal in this economy and the red hot cannabis industry after more than a year of trying its hopeless.
It hit 2 cents from a blatant p&d that didn’t last very long. Hopefully another crew will do it again so people can salvage what’s left of the money sunk in this.
What is time going to tell that 10 years hasn’t already told?
That was 3 years ago, and still waiting for an answer? The answer was spelled out years before that post. Telogis bought the assets from creditors. It’s really simple. But keep waiting another 10 or 20 years.
Big week ahead
thanks stet. I will give that a try. This was my first experience with CVRs and thus far I am not a fan of them at all. They sit in the account with no status updates or info available. The acquiring company has no obligation to notify the holders of any progress towards achieving the milestones. We're all basically in the dark and I can't help but wonder if the acquiring company would let certain dates slip to avoid making some of the milestone payments.
Next time I will sell all shares and let someone else hold the CVRs.
So will HDVY stock price go up?
I agree. There is no question of patentability.
If we find the source can we reboot the matrix?
I’d also love to know how they suckered someone to pay .21 given all the shares for sale at 8-9.
I think the next big spike will be following a company announcement regarding settlement talks with Intel. If that is sooner vs later probably depends on the lawyers involved.
Price is holding steady so far. I'm not sure what happened on this board in the last 24 hours. I'm going to pretend it was a weird dream.
All of those companies have gigantic market caps. Why would the government let those companies get so big but hold HDVY down?
I’m still not seeing how a 15 year price chart leads to these theories.
If the government were controlling the fate of HDVY then intel would have won the patent dispute.
You’re all over the place. Within 3 posts your theory has gone from stock price manipulation to organized crime to extortion and now it’s the government.
I know for a fact it traded above 40 cents within last 15 years and I have the shares to prove it.
Lol. Yesterday it was all the patent abusers who were to blame for the low stock price then suddenly today it’s criminal activity by management? That’s quite a leap just from looking at stock charts.
ok thanks. I appreciate your opinion as you seem very knowledgeable of HDVY's technology and it's value to other companies. It's really a shame that years of abuse from 'partners' that didn't honor the agreements as well as big companies who avoided (purposely or unintentionally) honoring HDVY's patents have left the company with a skeleton management team and limited funds. Hopefully this management team can pull it all together and capitalize on this amazing opportunity.
I just wanted your opinion. Obviously it would be best to hear directly from the company but they’re not responding to queries. If you don’t have an opinion or don’t want to share it that’s fine. Nothing improper about asking.
It looks like the company wasn’t prepared for this outcome. They’re probably in shock and scrambling to figure out what to do.
This is my biggest concern at this point. Do shareholders ever benefit from owning this stock or does HDVY management screw them over as they've done for the past 15 years.
it would be funny if Intel was accumulating shares as a hedge against losing the patent fight.
what's your opinion/best guess on a timeframe for HDVY to finally get compensation from the biggest offenders? do you think that settlements will be go-forward damages only or can HDVY get compensation for all past damages?
This stock desperately needs an analyst to initiate coverage and start publishing company analysis along with target price forecasts. The general investment community will never understand how to value the stock.
I agree they didn’t update filings for nothing. But the reason might be far simpler than creating a new business. They might just be selling shares to keep the ride going as long as possible. The idea that something will happen ‘soon’ becomes more and more outdated as more time goes by.
Not really. With no news this stock has no place to go but down.
I agree. HDVY needs to clean up its act to capitalize on this huge development. Some people see the stop sign next to the stock and move on without giving it a second thought. Others don’t feel like opening a new brokerage account just to purchase shares in 1 company.
Hopefully management is already working on this.
It’s best to look at all aspects of any stock both good and bad. The saying ‘never fall in love with a stock’ is good advice. I appreciate when people share information as it is an opportunity to learn and avoid mistakes that others have made.
The patent win is a great development. Now we need to know if current management has the ability to capitalize on it fully and for the benefit of shareholders. Remember that this company does not have a history of always working in shareholders interests.
Thanks LocWolf. I wonder what happened on Jan 1? Did they convert the debt to shares and if so how many shares do they now hold. I guess we won’t know until the Q1 filing.
