I might pick up 100,000-200,000 shares into the close depending on how it trades as I like getting it at good price on a day with such significant news and near the LOD.. The last hour of trading was very interesting watching it go down on buys. Wish me luck :)
ACTC - Looks like good news but almost at LOD... Looks like either the company is diluting shares or this thing is being shorted to death? I see constant buys at .071 and it never went up also see them right now at .0649 and it goes down on the buys...
Is this company a dilution factory or what.. Seems odd to be at the Low of the DAY almost on such important and significant news.. Tempted to bite except for the way the stock responds to buys.
Realfast,
I think we might finally get some institutional ownership besides the little bit there already is:
INVESCO LTD. 22,386
SAN FRANCISCO S... 18,000
WELLS FARGO & C... 1,400
CREDIT AGRICOLE... 900
I think the exposure that starts on the 17th and 18th are a step in the right direction.. Nice to see the market responded to the good earnings and loved the volume today.. Should be interesting to see NEWN update their forecast. You know what the say first volume then price.. :) Any TA guys out their that are good at reading the charts, because the chart looks pretty good to me but that isn't my expertise. Stock did very well considering how the market did today and many other China stocks.

Good luck to all longs:)
NEWN EPS is .34...
Nice quarter for a $7 stock... Forward looking EPS is at least 1.36 now.. I think the stock remains a good value and should be interested to see what happens with MEE Power. Haven't looked it all over but here are a few of the good things and a few items we should keep our eyes on.
Good Things:]
(1) Current RATIO
Total Current Assets 30,094,717
Total Current Liabilities 12,123,263
Current Ratio =2.48 >1 is very important.
(2) CASH:
Net increase in cash and cash equivalents 5,246,056
(3) Revenues
Net revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2010 totaled $72,218,535 compared to $15,858,311 for the nine months ended September 30, 2009, an increase of $56,360,224, or 355%. The increase was primarily due to the acquisition of Anytone in December 2009, which brought us $33,120,017 in battery sales, and the acquisition of Newpower in January of 2010, which brought us $25,331,109 in battery cell sales.
Things to Watch
(4)One customer accounted for 14% of the sales during the nine months ended September 30, 2010. Accounts receivable from this customer was $3,787,910 as of September 30, 2010. The Company had one customer which accounted for 17% of revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2009. Two customers accounted for 52% and 26% for the three months ended September 30, 2010.
(5) Net income $4,271,908 as a percentage of sales in 2010
16 %. $ 2,012,676 as a percentage of sales in 2009 26 %. A little disappointed that NI was a bit lower percentage of sales thanks to Newpower. The 20% their newest acquisition should help.
The main reason for the decrease appear to be:
The decrease was mainly due to the relatively higher production cost at Newpower, increased operating expenses as described below, as well as non-cash stock compensation expense of $169,000 and $67,000 to consultants and an independent director during the quarter.
Operating expenses for the three months ended September 30, 2010 were $1,607,474 or 6% of net revenue, compared to $175,227 or 2% of net revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2009
http://www.fixyou.co.uk/tracker_details.php?s=NEWN
Here's what I like about this.
We continue to generate very strong organic growth within all four of our businesses, including Anytone, NewPower, our battery distribution business, and our battery shells and caps segment. In particular, our Anytone business is rapidly gaining market share within China due to strong demand for our back-up battery chargers. As a result, we are extremely confident in achieving or exceeding our previously issued guidance for 2010, and anticipate very strong top and bottom-line growth in 2011. We are particularly excited about our foray into the U.S. market scheduled for later this year through the launch of our new MeePower(TM) brand of advanced battery backup systems and accessories. We anticipate that MeePower's sales in the U.S. market will have higher gross margins than similar product sales in China.
I also like that Project EPS were updated on 10/31 and now show $1.50.
EPS | P/E (Estimates updated 2010-10-31): $1.50.
A $15 stock trading at slightly above $7...Also like that they bought this solar company that further integrates into their existing products: One of our first priorities will be to expand our Anytone® solar-powered product offering with new technologies and consumer products using Kim Fai's solar power sources.
How do they say it in China "patience grasshoppers" LOL!!!
Weeble,
If they can read, the news is very good. It helps growth and it profitable and increased shareholder value... Earnings out next Tuesday with a conference call, meeting with institutions coming, it may be a very nice time to load your boat if not already filled to the rim..
GO NEWN...
Erpy
Nice purchase... Adds another 5 M in net income for 1.9 M Restricted shares... Looks like it will add another .35 or .36 cent EPS... That puts EPS up to around $1.60 with a PE of 10 puts the stock valued at $16 per share now.. Like that the shares were restricted and it is clear the agreement was made back when the share price was where it was at the time of their agreement and prior to the recent rise... Some will panic sell but overall this is great for the company.
Eric
Witty titty,
Your post is almost what I would classify for some to be considered depressing.. I can't really comment about stock manipulation as I have no facts or way to prove that it occurs not that I would doubt that it goes on. The recent run up appeared to be day traders making quick cash based on a article published on the stock and nothing more to me.
I am unaware of any better way to invest in stocks then to read a companies 10Q's, look over their balance sheet with a fine tooth comb, consider their current ratio, their earnings and understanding shares that will come to market in stock offerings/warrants/compensation, understand their products and the value of those products in their respective industry and the companies potential for growth. I also respect Technical Analysis on stocks those that are experts at that. These items are the best a personal investor can do to invest in a stock that they would expect the market to fairly value in due time. I believe NEWN (not promoting it for others) is an excellent potential investment (at least for me) and manipulated or not will appreciate in due time and reward those with a bit of patience. Not sure how you personally decide what to invest in or to invest in anything at all with your perspective.
I wish you the best of course and the same with all investors and I truly hope that your 500 shares result in nice profits for you.
Now lets hope NEWN has a BLOWOUT quarter :).
Eric
NEWS: Earnings out November 16 with conference call.. Hmmmm
WT,
Have you tried to estimate what NEWN quarter earnings will be?? The company has repeatedly stated they will make $1.23 for the year with .58 diluted through June... I am thinking they will hit around .37 for this quarter (just my guess). I would like NEWN to surprise investors but anything over .30 cents this quarter is good step in the right direction. This is a viable listed company that is probably just about to start getting its recognition by institutions. As they increase this exposure the stock will finally realize a more reasonable PE ratio.. I think anything less then a forward PE of 10 is very reasonable with this new exposure and with the recent listing.. I value this company easily at $12-14 per share in the next 6 months and am happy buying it at its current prices... I think it a great value stock and with it new MEE power and it exposure to the USA soon with APPLE and this stock could easily be valued much higher then my estimates. Hence if you have any vision beyond day to day trading tell me what their isn't to like about this company, its product or its balance sheet. I think institution buying is soon on its way (now that it has been listed a few months) and exposure is on the way...
NEWN
Didn't any of you notice the after hours trades today....Stock traded strange today maybe all the day traders from the shark attack are now gone... Found the 5,000 share trade for 8.67 interesting.. Maybe its a sign of the good quarter earnings that is coming any day.. Would expect news out before Friday!! Good luck to the smart long term shareholders who have patiently waited.

Hmmm what a delicious day and every single "LONG" shareholder deserves it. Looks like a SHORT squeeze to me. Next 5 days should be very interesting.
Every man here should take his women out for an awesome evening (whatever the women wants).
:)
Erpy
Interesting Trading today... Down -.32 on 66,000 shares.. I wish I had more firepower right now I would be buying more shares...Looks to me like they are trying to shake weak hands.. Low volume is maybe the quiet before the STORM...
Are earnings due November 10th?
Thanks,
Eric

See if this link works
Thought his estimate was interesting based on the effects of the short squeeze that has been initiated and I think some significant institutional investing.. This guy estimates short term price at $25 a share. I think things could get really interesting with some news this coming week. Once again GLTA longs!!
http://www.otcjournal.com/What-A-Short-Squeeze-Looks-Like-EmergingChinaStocks-com/af/archive/20101016-1/
Wells thats cool, where has such a self proclaimed expert been?? I would expect to see CCME on IBD too.. I just can't stand a liar... I think we have more interesting days ahead...
GLTA,
ERPY (drinking vodka with his lady tonight).....
Joe,
Cramer is an idiot.. He never initially recommended the stock the man is full of shit..
Eric
SQUEEEEEEEEEEZEEEEEEEEEE
Thar SHE BLOWS
Any expectations? The stock appears very un-liquid? Why is it so un-discovered? It looks pretty good to me especially for its price.
Do they not do an announcement with earnings?
Thanks,
Eric
Are earnings for REPR due out soon? Stock has been stagnant for a long time but has always look interesting for a profitable penny stock!!
Erpy
Drex,
Now that we have cleared the 52 week high, it makes me believe this stock could go much higher... All shorts are now loosing and it seems this could make this explosive at this point...
Can't imagine if they add good news too it but WOW and every CCME shareholder that had the balls and conviction to stay here GOOD FOR YOU..
Erpy...

Hmmm, chart continues to look very nice and continues to improve. Well done to all the longs, we might just be getting started....
Eric
Traderfan,
The stock is trading nicely.. Not to jinx you but in this case I dont agree...
:)
Eric
Nice to see it recovering from the recent unexplained lows. I think the apple news (Meepower) is more significant then some realize.. I have kept my investment here through the weakness and plan to hold for what is a fair value something north of $10.
Eric
Ryan,
I agree and I am thinking it is institutions buying....
Eric
Trader fan,
I think you ask an excellent question and to be honest is one I personally asked myself. I commend you for your own choices and decisions but I wanted to at least share with you my perspective to the question you asked.
From my research Institutions have been buying this stocks, from what I can tell and find out 21 new instituional positions and 26 increased positions were taken the last I could find out. Furthermore these institutions included very reputable ones such as Morgan Stanley (222K shares), Vanguard Group (79K shares), Goldman Sachs (51K shares). Not only have these institutions been adding but they for the most part have been buying at much higher prices then we are at now. As an alternate to your question maybe you could ask yourself why arent instituions running for the hills and maybe this would help solidfy additonal confidence not that you aren't confident already in your investment.
Here is a summary of reasons I am so excited about this stock at this point:
(1) The stock price has been hammered and is not far from its 52 week low. What bad event has occured to damage the true instinsic value of this company to deserve this price beating? None that I can find.
(2) Insitutions are buying and even adding to their positions and most likely will continue. Most institutions own the stock at much higher prices then were at now.
(3) The company has recently announced a stock buy back. This means they (the largest stock owners) understand that their investment is significant undervalued and they want to do something about it.
(4) The company has a huge amount of cash on hand based on audited financial documents by a reputable auditor. It is my opinion that there is a good chance they could announce a dividend in the next month or so. I think this could have several additional positives impacts to the stock.
(5) The china small caps have been getting killed in the market and I think it is only reasonable that their are some exceptions from this bad sector. I personally am Glad that CCME isn't one of those exceptions because it further makes the stock a great buy in my opinion. It means the stock price is low as part of the sector and not based on real reason of the instrinsic value of the company.
(6) Buying a stock is surely timing based and for all of the reasons above now seems like a very reasonable and exciting time.
While I respect your caution and great question, I asked myself the same one and wanted to at least share my perspective on it. I wish that all investors make their own decisions on what and how much to buy of any stock and do it for their own reasons. Good luck to all CCME owners and I feel excited about the future of this stock. Can't wait to see the next update on instituional ownership.
Eric
Great post and Couldn't agree with you more.. Maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Please all that are considering investing, just spend 1 hour and read the 10Q's.
Eric
Fernando,
All I know is if you can read a 10Q and believe in the old addage buy when others aren't and you look at this stock chart and everything else going for it, I am surprised the longs here are not much much more excited about this stock then at least it appears. Also who knows what buy interest institutions may be adding or continue to add.
I agree with you that the buyback is an awesome step and with the well known fact of the short interest is absolutely timely. A person short especially now has to hope to instill doubt that CCME wont actually buy shares back. Watching this stock this week I feel confident that they are. The nice thing about a dividend as far as I can tell is that I see no way for the shorts to refute it.
Regardless I am very excited about CCME and with as tight as the coil on this spring is, I might even have some froth on my lips. I really think it could get interesting and I am impressed with the companies management awarness and ownership to add shareholder value.
Best of luck to all LONGS... It times to get excited I think.
Eric
CCME:
This stock looks scrumptious... Great Cash on Hand, an Excellent current ratio over 2 (Current assets/Current Liabilities), Significant increase institutional ownership, Buyback plan, and EPS almost $3 and this thing is selling at just over $8... I am about to pee my pants to own this thing.. Also looks like a huge short interest as all the chinese stocks have investors running around with their tail between their legs worrying about the balance sheet on an audited stock on a reputable stock exchange...
How is it that this thing is only at $8 something is incredible.. If you look at this objectively you almost want to bet the farm.. Looks like a great chance for a HUGE short squeeze and if they really do a DIVIDEND making all share count be accountable (ie naked shorts are dead), this thing could go to the moon.. Cant imagine having the balls to short it..
I am getting in and GLA to all investors that can read a balance sheet.

Erpy
Looks LTUS reported Net Income of 12 cents in Q2 with 40% increase in revenues. Going forward with no growth yearly estimated EPS of .48 cents (assume no growth)and that would put stock valued at $4.80 a share at a PE of 10. How is this thing still selling at 1.05, chinese stock will have their day.
Next week should be interesting..... Watch NEWN too as they just got listed and earnings due out monday.

Erpy!
Why do you say that? I like the good volume and slow progress upwards of the stock.... I am no TA guy but it looks good and maybe a little rsistance at 1.10 and 1.18 and then hmmmm..
I think the news was great.

Nice news today.. Pretty quiet here for a long time.. I think the news was real positive and glad to be on board.
Eric
Harley,
I have 5,000 shares and have been buying from the low 7's and more at these new recent discount prices. I can't aford to buy any more but if I had the cash I would too.. I cant see how this stock isnt worth $10 a share and from current prices it seems like this thing just must be unknown... It needs a little exposure, get listed and continue with the growth and over time should be huge winner I think.. I hope it gets some exposure and the price start reflecting its value. Nice aquisitions and seems like a good growth potential to me. Best of luck to all of our futures.
Eric
I guess I am having a hard time to resist buying more of this stock.. Guidance of 1.23 and the stock is at 6.20...I have the boat full but the price of the stock continues to absolutely stump me. I feel sometimes like I am the only one buying this stock at what seems like huge discounted prices.. China might start to heat up and this stock seems like as close to a sure thing I can find. Better to buy the stock when there is no intrest ahead of the hoards isn't it?
GLTA
