WORLD MOTO BAGS MOROCCAN PATENT FOR MOTO-METER

------------ The following text cut and pasted from the above link. Refer to the link for complete information --------
World Moto, a company renowned for its advanced taxi-meter called Moto-Meter, has recently been awarded a patent from the patent office of Morocco for Moto-Meter. World Moto was earlier granted patents for the same invention in Nigeria and South Africa. Moto Meter is an advanced taxi-meter primarily used for calculating fares in moto-taxis.
The moto-taxis, also known as motorcycle taxis, are two wheeler vehicles which are used for transporting people. Market size of this product is estimated to be close to five hundred billion dollars. of late, the moto-taxis have gained popularity all over the world due to their ease of availability, lower operating costs, and convenience of use during peak hours. It is estimated that the number of moto-taxis in Bangkok alone supercedes total number of taxi cabs in the USA. At present there are over 20 million moto-taxis in over 100 countries, Nigeria topping list of countries with most number of moto-taxis.
In comparison with other taxi meters, the Moto-Meter has additional featurs such as Blackbox, GPS and advertisement display system. The Moto-Meter, which can be used in harsh and open environments as well, possesses various sensing means such as speed sensors, accelerometers etc which are used to capture data during accidents. World Moto is seeking patent protection for the Moto-Meter in 61 countries. The company’s CEO Paul Giles and CTO Chris Ziomkowski themselves are inventors of the Moto-Meter.
World Moto has gained prominence in India as well, and they have secured a pre-tender deal for supplying 90,000 Moto-Meters for auto rickshaws in Tamilnadu, where installation of meters with GPS system has been made compulsory by law.
What ? Deadheading? Jump in the left seat, cross check, Foxtrot Alpha Romeo Echo is Ready to take off .. Lol
Well I know a huge company that started in a garage in Palo Alto... They didn't have a sink or even running water. So clearly WM in its early stages has extremely advanced testing facilities... :))
I think they are proving that is one tough meter...
No problem C W, got them posted for ya.
Customers , Governments or whom ever World Moto talks to about their portfolio of products are going to expect them to be able to support their products and have a office/warehouse/lab/customer area etc... to manage their business. So much is required to run a business and the size office space and amount of the lease shows they are working real hard to get the most out of what they got while watching the bottom line.
A business with this potential and portfolio of products needs more the space.
" The company is stronger than ever and management is very confident about the business and its future.
Best,
WM"

Excellent World Moto update ! Thanks for posting this over from Facebook cayman_west !
Excellent talent is always in demand for a growing company. :)
A lot of discussion going on here and for people who want to the stock to go down they are going to take advantage of that.
A thought about the financing:
They could have had individuals offer investment funds but they might have wanted too much control or a large chunk of the business as part of the deal.
Toxic financing.. As some have said they get their money back no matter what happens. But World Moto gets the million no matter what happens. World Moto’s best move here since they do have products would to be expand the business to profit even more.
Why would they use this kind of financing that kills other companies? Well usually those guys have just an idea not products or have ever sold their products. They are usually out for the money at the investor’s expense. I would have to believe World Moto wants their business and stock to explode.
Any kind of financing can get you into trouble; they are a young company but still might need to strengthen their business model before they can secure a different avenue of credit. A lot of financing people may love you but they are bound by their own lending rules and maybe World Moto looks great but just has not got all the boxes check marked for some lenders.
They needed money immediately to support the existing opportunities and for future business needs and they got it.
I would suggest since the deal is done and the way they did it done, we focus on how the new injection of funds will benefit World Moto on the continued growth of global business.
IMO
Well, depends on what you consider new :) I put that link up May of 2013. But it still is great information and is a really good brochure for future customers to see what a great product it is.
That brochure was one of the first steps to get the Moto Meter message out. The good news is now we are several steps in.
Here is the link again for people who have not seen it. http://www.worldmoto.com/brochure.pdf
And the link you refer to?
A Facebook comment about the Wheelies show leads
Feedback from the World Moto Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/worldmoto
---------------------
"Over the next month, World Moto will be following many qualified leads obtained at the show with the intention to begin commercial advertising on the Wheelies™ platform. Management is proceeding incisively along these lines to maximize value during the rollout period, as consumer response to the product has conclusively demonstrated that Wheelies™ offers an obvious advantage to a manufacturer and advertiser who can obtain an exclusive deal for the initial period. Negotiations are ongoing, and details will be announced once an agreement has been reached."
A quick note about YES from Facebook feedback:

From the World Moto Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/worldmoto
----------
Thank you for your comment.
Yes is in the soft launch stage (testing stage) and so marketing is not being conducted. We have a Yes video finished which we plan to release in conjunction with other events in the near future. Also, keep in mind that as the Bangkok Motor Show ended the Thai New Year began and today (Monday) is the first day back from the Thai New Year holidays, i.e., people are just returning this week.
Wheelies Moto Show video !!!!
World Moto is a great company! even at 560,000 volume on a Wednesday... :)) LOL!
10-K is available.
That makes sense, they are already in a huge market opportunity and they can expand easily as things get rolling.
Well.. I have to admit your saying some of the right things there..
Right, understandable Americade is a real big deal but also was the International Motor show they just did for that part of the globe.
They are probably using the people resources the best they can and working up to the deadline on each event.
They also said this: "Assuming the terms of attendance are acceptable, Americade will mark the first time Wheelies™ will be demonstrated in North America, and represents a strategic opportunity for World Moto to interface with American manufacturers, distributors, and consumers who represent a key market for global sales."
Should be hearing something soon on the details for Americade. They might still be working out the details.
Excellent part to highlight cayman_west. They are talking to a lot of people, something's going to happen..

World Moto: Review of Bangkok International Motor Show
New Business Relationships Established and Proceeding Into Sales Negotiations
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 15, 2014) - World Moto, Inc. (OTCBB: FARE) (OTCQB: FARE) (BERLIN: WM7) (BERLIN: A1J8SY) ("World Moto" or the "Company") is pleased to provide a review of the Bangkok International Motor Show. Changing the way the world goes around, World Moto is a global authority on the $500 billion dollar a year motorcycle taxi industry and inventor of the Moto-Meter™, Wheelies™, and Yes™.
World Moto recently attended The Bangkok International Motor Show 2014, promoted as "The Greatest Show in Asia," which is one of the world's largest trade fairs. The show ran from March 26 to April 6, and World Moto was awarded a premium location with a high volume of quality foot traffic. During the 12 day show, World Moto was interviewed by the press and received thousands of retail visitors who universally marveled at the visual appeal of the Wheelies™ product. In addition, marketing executives from numerous motorcycle vendors including Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati and Harley Davidson stopped by to engage with the Company's team. Most of the executives who came to the World Moto presentation, including executives from the advertising industry, had not previously seen the product in person, and were highly impressed with the quality and promotional opportunities that the product offers.
Over the next month, World Moto will be following many qualified leads obtained at the show with the intention to begin commercial advertising on the Wheelies™ platform. Management is proceeding incisively along these lines to maximize value during the rollout period, as consumer response to the product has conclusively demonstrated that Wheelies™ offers an obvious advantage to a manufacturer and advertiser who can obtain an exclusive deal for the initial period. Negotiations are ongoing, and details will be announced once an agreement has been reached.
Paul Giles, CEO of World Moto, commented, "Wheelies™ were a great success at the Bangkok Motor Show and many manufacturers have now seen firsthand how the public reacts to this technology. We will continue to work diligently over the next weeks and months to convert this positive momentum into maximum value for the Company's shareholders."
The Company has sent a video of the event to several media outlets and will post it publicly this week.

All good news, you might as well stick around :)
Just as the PR says, they set up a distributor network.
They did not say they were going as vendor. They got invited.
Cut and pasted from the PR.
"World Moto recently received an invitation from Christian Dutcher, the Director of Americade, to demonstrate its revolutionary Wheelies technology at Americade,......"
Here is a link to the PR: http://www.marketwired.com/press-release/Wheelies-Invited-to-Shine-at-Americade-in-New-York-OTCBB-FARE-1876519.htm
Very good idea, Your right it is at a bargain price right now.

I know , and is that what you call a hand full.. LOL
Well seems everybody ( and some other person that screen name starts with a S and has a J in it but I don't want to give to much info on and give their name away.. ) is looking for the filings..
World Moto is a great company! even at 50,000 volume on a Monday... :))
Well people that want to invest or loan money to World Moto care about patents .. It not all about you:))
They have some funds now, they know what to do. Get theses item to market as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
They just didn't get the funding to spend on latte's. They have used their money wisely in the past to build the products and now hopefully they will use the new funding on production sales and marketing.
It's a big job tonight, the iHub admin and the other moderators are trying to keep it within the guidelines.
Well look at that, 1 million in financing.
Looks like the lights are still BRIGHT at World Moto !
Moto-Meter™ Patent Clears Final Hurdle in South Africa -- Africa's Largest Economy
LINK - http://www.marketwired.com/press-release/Moto-Meter-Patent-Clears-Final-Hurdle-in-South-Africa-Africas-Largest-Economy-OTCBB-FARE-1896582.htm
-------------------
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2014) - World Moto, Inc. (OTCBB: FARE) (OTCQB: FARE) (BERLIN: WM7) (BERLIN: A1J8SY) ("World Moto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its patent application in South Africa is scheduled for publication and grant on April 30. Changing the way the world goes around, World Moto is a global authority on the $500 billion dollar a year motorcycle taxi industry and inventor of the Moto-Meter™, Wheelies™, and Yes™.
Africa is home to the highest population of motorcycle taxis on earth, where vast fleets ply the streets to provide essential mobility for up to half a billion people each day. World Moto's success in securing patent protection for the Moto-Meter™ in Africa's two largest economies, gives it a commanding position to access the vast opportunities from Nigeria in the north all the way south to Cape Town.
World Moto has filed for patent prosecution of its Moto-Meter™ technology in 61 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. These countries were carefully selected to cover most of the world's moto-taxi and auto-rickshaw fleets and population. Nigeria was the first locality to complete its investigations and issue a patent. South Africa is now the third country to grant or signal its intention to grant a patent, after IMPI in Mexico announced its intention to grant a patent two months ago. The remaining 58 countries are currently in the substantive evaluation period and are expected to complete their investigations within the next four years. Based on its success in Nigeria, Mexico, and South Africa, and its original favorable review from the Patent Cooperation Treaty Examiner, the Company expects ultimately to be awarded a patent in every targeted jurisdiction.
South Africa is one of many countries where distributors and operators have expressed strong interest in the Moto-Meter, and discussions have focused on introducing the product not only in South Africa but also in cities across Africa.
About South Africa: South Africa is a country located at the southern tip of Africa, and with close to 53 million people, is the world's 24th most populous nation. South Africa is ranked as an upper-middle income economy by the World Bank, and its economy is the largest and most developed in Africa, as well as the 28th largest in the world. South Africa maintains significant regional influence, and is a member of the G-20 major economies, which cumulatively represent more than 80% of the world's trade and nearly two thirds of the world population.
Note that the World Bank estimates that the numbers of motorcycle taxis will increase by more than 50% over the next five years. Also note that saturation of the Moto-Meter™ is projected to reach 100% within three years of introduction in any given market and that its life expectancy/repurchase cycle is estimated at three years. Market estimates do not include potential revenue from the Company's other products and services, such as the Wheelies™, Yes™, mobile commerce, advertising, accessories, servicing, calibration and all associated offerings.
World Moto CEO Paul Giles stated, "The economic value of our Moto-Meter™ patent is enormous. Just the single continent of Africa has the ability to generate well over $20 billion in Moto-Meter™ purchases alone during the patent's lifetime. Now with protection in both of the two largest African economies and the remainder of the applicant countries expected to follow, the Company is certainly looking forward to sales from this region in the coming year."
Copy of the Moto-Meter™ patent for South Africa will be posted on World Moto's Facebook page on April 30th, 2014.

They have a lot going on, something's got to hit soon, we just have to wait this one out.
Excellent update red13, went strait to the top I see.. LOL
This is nonsense , they would not jeopardize the companies success by not filing. Just wait for the report then you can talk about what is going on.
