Thanks McSharkey,
Will go through it myself. Have the time.
Yes I am glad we have not crashed but instead made a reasonable recovery. I want this to end in the green today.
I hope it at least crosses .264 - yesterday's close.
I will be happy with that
Yes the accreditations and the move to a larger 30,000 sq ft facility. The increase in workforce.
All this not without a reason.
What I would like to understand though is the breakdown of their revenue. How much do they get from the Copper & Railways contracts or for that matter from their textiles and cash-in-transit business.
Irrespective of the wild swing this morning, the fact remains that APDN is set up well for the next two quarters and thereafter.
The DLA revenue will start flowing in now and the two new PRs auger well for future revenue potential. APDN is making the right investments and all this cannot be without a reason.
Lets just hang on out there McSharkey.
The Phoenix always rises from the ashes!
We have seen this many times. the fundamentals remain unchanged.
Hey McSharkey,
How are you. Did I smell a hint of sarcasm in the post!!!!. What are your plans for tomorrow or rather, what do you think will happen?
Cheers!!
Shail
I agree Lenny. I have waited patiently for this stock to break out. I hope that day is tomorrow.
Good luck to all on this board. Hope tomorrow spells a new dawn for APDN
Yes I do agree and I want it to be that way but I just hope that the results, whatever they might be, do not cause a sell-of tomorrow morning.
When will the results be made public - tonight or in the call tomorrow.
That will decide how it opens tomorrow.
Hi a1mill,
I do not think the price rise and the volume is purely a result of Agora. The PR this morning is definitely a contributing factor too.
I think APDN has seen enough of Agora now.
Let us see what lies in the store tomorrow.
Cheers!!
Hey a1mill,
Getting close to your magic figure. What a day has this been.
I hope tomorrow takes this only further. Having broken the .25 barrier, it should head towards .30
GLTA
Good observation Yip. Just makes a lot more sense.
Good morning Johnson,
Yes you are right.
By the way, the PR this morning could not have been better timed. Also very encouraging news!!!
GLTA
Fantastic summary a1mill,
Hats off to you for the effort. That is what I like about this board. So many of you taking such pains to do the research and feed us with encouraging info.
I believe one day we will positively see the boom.
I hope Thurs is a step in that direction.
Cheers and GLTA
I don't think holding shares is illegal but analysts or news letters probably have to declare whether they hold a particular share or not, while commenting about it.
Obviously, if they do hold a share, their opinion will be considered as biased and if they do not, it will be considered as neutral.
Great close at .234 with a volume >3 mn.
Is something cooking??
Good idea.
At the same time the current spurt in volume and pps is encouraging.
I hope what you feel, turns out to be true. I also have the same gut feel or else, we would have seen it go lower.
Good Luck to all.
Yes WT, Lou and other regulars.
The board did seem very quiet today. Very unlike this board where we get to see so many good relevant posts everyday.
The other good thing about this board is that we do not have anyone pumping the stock unnecessarily yet all are committed to the stock long term.
I hope the results bring us good news and we are able to at least crack the .25 level this week.
GLTA
.21 as shown on Ameritrade but the final ask was 2125
Silence on the board today. What's up folks.
Oh. Cool
Thanks.
Wow Yip,
Was this from the APDN web site or was it from Holliston's
Should see more of such stuff.
Thanks Yip.
I agree. Frankly I see these customers probably more willing to use the technology to protect their business interests, than the electonics component manufacturers.
Let us hope we hear some encouraging talk on this front, on Thursday.
GLTA
I was just curious as to why there is so much attention being paid to the potential from just the DLA.
APDN has talked about so many different customer tie-ups.
What about the revenue potential from these areas. For a technology like APDN's the potential from some of their consumer product contracts should in fact be huge.
Have these not taken off for APDN As yet?
Well !! what is the reaction to the drop? Will next week be worst??
Hi Yip
I too received an e-mail which says May 15th whereas all other sites mention the date as May 16 th.
Earnings call announced on Thur 16th May at 9.00 am
Thanks Johnsyn for those reassuring words.
Bad start to the day. Dread to imagine where we could end up by close and what next week holds for us.
Will be painful to see this clawing back all over again.
Hi Sunny,
Good to have you back on the board. In fact I was wondering why I was not seeing your posts.
I agree with the potential but the time taken to convert the prospects into revenue is a bit longer than what one would expect, particularly if one has to see equilibrium by the year end.
That will be more believable if we see some decent results next week.
In the results next week, they should atleast be able to show that they have the foundation laid, for a good Q3.
If not it will be another quarter spelling out future hopes.
Sure will. Thanks
Yes you must be right. I am not at all good with charts.
My reactions are based more on emotions than good logic. I love this company though and believe that this technology has a future.
Thanks for your inputs.
You are right. I am surprised by how such a low volume of trade affects the share price so much.
On the other hand it takes so much to get this up.
I like your positive post but the drop to .208 scares the hell out of me.
I hope we do not see a big drop this quarter and struggle to recover to current levels over the next two quarters. Have seen enough of that now.
Great.
The tie-up with Markem to me is more critical and I hope it goes through as it opens up many more avenues for APDN.
Thanks.
Here is a link to an article dated 2009 which talks about the tie up with Printcolor:
http://www.hwsands.com/files/printer-friendly/APDN_AzSure_Ink_Dec_15_2009.pdf
I am not sure whether the link will work out here.
Johnsyn & WT,
I noticed however that the tie up with Printcolor is not a recent event. It was mentioned in one of their earlier 10K reports that I read last night.
Not sure why it has come up now. Their tie-up with Marken is a more recent move.
My mistake a1mill.
What I meant was that though the Dr may not have set expectations, we the investors would be hoping to see better numbers compared to the last quarter.
That may not be the case.
