Ha I asked the same question a while back. EM was used at the end of a data stream (when it was printed on tape) to signify the end of a set of a data.
Old Schooler is...well...old school :)
Why are you in your house and not on the train?!
Question: If MM's can sell to each other (the ? trade) and go from 0.012 to 0.0085 then why don't they continue walking the price down?
Your post made it seem like they don't need retail investors in order to move the market which I thought was untrue. I thought they just facilitated the market based on the retail investors willingness to buy or sell at certain prices. If this were the case, we should be way higher because noone wants to sell here.
Hopefully we stick above a penny now..
I wonder if the MM's were having trouble making a liquid market at the lower pps (i.e. couldn't short anymore) so they let the price run up a little in order to short it back down.
Let's hope we are up strictly on HNSS's potential.
I can actually agree with that logic, although I am not following it in HLNT's case. People on the pinks are so used to the shell games and the scam companies that they buy on rumor sell on news and that's that.
Here I've decided to stick around because I wholly believe we're invested in something significant in the long term.
It's the traders in the short term driving us down that I'm worried about.
pps at 0.0069 and bid/ask at 0.007 x 0.0072.
That would seem to indicate its heading up and not down at the present point in time.
Board has been slow this week. I think everyone is in wait and see mode...
HLNT, lets hear some good news soon please...
Agreed, I was giving a conservative estimate but I wholly believe its much more than I think. That is good thing, though. It means we have the power to hold the majority of the shares and not sell at these depressed prices. Us talking everyday and holding long on this board has probably helped keep the price from dropping more than it has. Communication is key here.
I won't be selling anytime soon and I hope we start seeing concrete developements (in the form of contracts and dollars) from HLNT in the near future.
Lets see... 3176 shareholders and 1.8B shares outstanding gives and average shares/person of 566,750 shares.
Now I know I personally hold several times the average and there are many people on this board that hold upwards of 30MM shares.
I don't know if this board has an affect on the daily swings but I definitely believe it is possible. I would venture to say that, as a board (and I'm speaking of mainly the active posters), we hold greater than 10% of the float.
On any given day that is alot of shares being held right here and any negative or positive sentiment on the board could influence the pps.
I'm with you rocky, the moment I try and play the flip game is the moment we get the monster pr we have all been waiting for and I miss the boat. I'll just sit tight and wait. I'm thinking there HAS to be a PR by the end of the year...
I didn't sell but 0.0074 is a huge gain for me. I believe we will see even greater gains in the future (higher than 0.018 I hope!) so I continue to hold.
Its hard for me to accumulate because even though these prices are bargain basement, my average is WELL below the 0.0055 mark and I can't decide if I should raise my average at the possibility of more profit. Time to make a spreadsheet.
I think we will be ok in the long run. I am still in profit land and I believe we are dealing with a legitimate company here. As soon as they start landing some big deals we will be fine and the pps will reflect the true potential we are hearing about today. The trick is going to be hanging on long enough to see all the speculation come to fruition.
Just making sure, I might have missed the IMO due to the flu. I am just waiting for the end of speculation and the beginning of hard data.
When did HLNT say they wanted to buy back shares?
Now where in the world does someone who lives in HAWAII go for vacation? :)
Just saw that, what does that mean? Or is it a glitch?
I'm sure he is aware of what is going on with the stock price. As has been said many times before, Chad was a shareholder (and still is) WAY before he took the company over.
The thing I like best about our CEO is that he isn't giving in to the shorting by issuing fluff PRs with no content. Wehn he issues a PR about the company's status it is filled with value and hard data. We will get another update soon, I know the dealers have been working hard to add to HLNT's bottom line and new deals are in the works and hopefully being signed soon.
Happy T-day to everyone, tomorrow should be a slow day but so as long as we don't let the MM's walk it down on no volume I'll be happy.
GLTA.
MM's closing out positions at the end of the month? Who knows..
It would be great to get some news over the weekend and really send people scrambling come monday morning. But I suspect we won't get any news as the guys at HLNT probably need a little R&R more than we on this board do. They have been working their tails off creating a ton of value here and they deserve some turkey and football.
Go Ags! Beat the Horns!
I love when the market price is below the bid/ask. That just screams upward moment does it not?
Understood, was just looking for positive or negative sentiment, not hard numbers, but I can wait along with everyone else.
Keep doing what you're doing, you are helping to make everyone on this board a little wealthier.
Thanks!
How about you use another of your posts and update us on your sales as of late?
Interesting read about the IOUs Phil. A little disconcerting that that might actually go on under our noses.
Lets have a green day before the Turkey day.
GLTA
Buying pressure will come on some news. The good thing is at these prices there is virtually NO selling pressure from the longs. We don't want to dump our shares at this price because we know HNSS is worth much more.
Sorry you don't like the chatter but its a public board captain. Anyone can say anything they want (to a certain extent) and there shouldn't be any lash back. Stock goes down, forb is unhappy. Stock goes up, forb is happy. Either way he likes to let his feelings be known and thats ok. If you can't handle it then hit the ignore button.
Congrats and thanks for being in the military. My father flew an F4 Phantom and was lucky enough to have never had to have been deployed.
GreenSense - Thanks for taking the time to go see HLNT's operations first hand. Any feelings/sentiment you provide based on your conversations and observations while there are greatly appreciated on this board.
SJM - Ditto.
you guys are too uptight he's not hurting anything... He has alot more invested than me (in dollars, not shares) so he has every right to be upset at the recent movement. Hell, I'm not happy at all about this big walk down. We need a catalyst to bring it back up. Paging Mr. Coats...
Who? Forb?
He's not trying to manipulate the stock, he's just frustrated at the movement and his english isn't great...
I believe he holds a pretty substantial amount of shares if I'm not mistaken so maybe hold back on the "manipulation" talk until you actually know what you are talking about.
GLTA
Haven't got my shareholder letter but I'm away on business through the new year so I just assume its in my mailbox and I'll get it when I return.
I hate the impatience of some people in penny land. They are potentially ruining an extremely viable company because they don't know the importance of buying and holding. The price of HLNT has been driven down to absurdly low levels that are unfounded for the potential it has to succeed.
no need to be sorry, if I was typing in French you would have absolutely no idea what I was saying. You're english is pretty good!
GLTA
He meant someone sold 2MM and was asking why, incredulously
Yes but the question is how low will this be drug down while we wait for news? I'm sure some people are happy to get the so called "cheapies" but I would much rather see HLNT's pps reflect its actual and potential gains and not be driven down to less than 40% of its recent high on no news.
Doesn't matter, even a laid off engineer has an hourly rate. So when will you be posting their report?
Just need that break out news to happen and we are on the move. What does L2 look like this morning?
haha you are so deep dude. LY ME in two groups spells MELY!
Way to go Aristotle.
Not a single trade today? Did I miss something?
Damn I go out to lunch for an hour and I miss a fire sale?? You guys are selfish haha.
We'll bounce back, HLNT has true value and we just need some solid news with $ signs attached to get rid of those pesky shorts.
So the company CAN purchase shares on the open market right punk? Time will tell what the large volume was for a few days ago. I hope your speculation comes true and we hear some news on HNSS buying a nice little chunk of shares back.
GL today!
I am in no way negative on HNSS but hidey has the right idea. As I said when the pr came out pre nov 12th, if the company TRULY wants to reduce the float they should just buy up all the shares they can at the price the market dictates. Why pay over the FMV if you can get it cheaper? Would you personally pay 0.05 for a stock that you could easily buy on the open market for 0.0125? Nope.
I am still giving HNSS the benefit of the doubt. We will see in the next week or two if they stayed true to their word and bought shares.
Still up 600% but its no fun to know I didn't sell when I was up 2400%.
Now I have to decide how much longer I want to allow the pps to be chipped down while waiting for news before I sell and lock in my gains.
Where did you get 10MM? Is that your own estimate? I've been using 5-6 which is still a P/S of about 2.8-3.4
