No doubt. One of the reasons I wanted to get out...in addition to having 200 bucks to my name, LOL...was the fact that they issued that release about acquiring the nutraceutical firm. I mean...if you're looking to reverse merge...you - like you just said - don't want to dilute your shareholders.
But then again...to these clowns "adding shareholder value" means something different than it does to me.
I know that sometimes looking for shell companies can make tons of sense for short-term profits when a rumor of takeover is out there, but these guys that have a history of S-8s...gonna have to add that to the list of things I look for.
But they're not the only ones. Man...I couldn't believe that on MJET...just screwing people over. And to boot: a company in the business of making jeans. Sheesh.
True...wish I'd gotten in with you back in the day. It just seems like there are so many r/s these days, and so few companies are announcing any contracts of note. These things got way out of whack with these huge share offerings and now they're trying to shore up - when it's not a scam - their balance sheets...leaving the public holding an empty bag.
I'm starting to doubt I may ever find a stock to leverage. Maybe the World Golf League - WFGL...at least a buyback opp down the road, LOL
Sent ya a quick email on it.
A second drug could be very positive...esp for the short term flip. My analysis probably refects a 2-4 year outlook. In the short run, maybe not too many shares will be converted. I don't know who holds these notes though. Are they restricted investors? I know if I held a note which would allow me to get a 5 dollar stock for 2.50 I'd be rolling my dice.
Looks like VPHM opened up 50 cents higher.
But my report was my opinion. Some guy on iHub just said it was going to 30 bucks next year! I wonder if he knows something, is charting, or is just making a wild guess?
I certainly can see why the T/A guys have been on it though. Price up on increasing volume. But refer to my "report".
Rob, I sent you an email with a Word attachment. I looked into the latest 10Q. But remember...I'm far from a genius.
I'll check those out...I've been to the Golden List board but just visited the web site. I'd say Jim has some pretty good advice there in the TGL rules of the game.
I'd say there's less than a 50% chance either team will win, LOL. Now that's handicapping. I'd go with the Heat.
It's not just you Bro - why I asked my earlier question. I saw an interview earlier this year with a guy who was saying how much money had flowed into BB stocks. I just think that the pennies have grown somewhat...dare I say...efficient.
I saw it back when it was in the .002 range. Lot of 0/S 450+MM.
Hey Bud...any thoughts on HCCF?
I'll say this...now that I have standards and know what I'm looking for, many of these so-called great buys aren't that great.
Want to see a real trip...look at all these guys on the boards here pumping stocks pre-market with "look at er gap," LOL. Hilarious.
Yeah, I looked at that. If a stock doesn't move with an announced "proposed" buyback...that's a red flag to me.
Do you think the pennies have played out? So much attention over the last couple years. Maybe with incidents like GVRP we're also headed for more regulation.
That's me too Bro...I like great players.
Well, it's over. Spurs win. We already knew I shouldn't be your broker. Now we know I shouldn't be your handicapper.
Nah. I think this one's going 6 games. But if PHX wins tonight I'd be getting really nervous if I was a Spurs fan.
LOL. Yeah...or maybe we can start a charting business, and only track companies that have at least 500 billion O/S.
Jason Kidd has it rough...when he dishes...the dishees miss. And just when he gets used to having a good passee, the passee leaves.
True...pinkies suck, LOL. But you have to be right so few times to win. But it's frustrating when CEOs are ripping you off right before your face.
I would hate to see you go. But if I could move anywhere...if I couldn't get a house in CA overlooking the ocean at a good price, LOL...I'd probably try Phoenix. Great weather. Growing economy. Golf courses out the ying yang. Maybe I can join you there someday.
Think picking up a few shares of OSFT might have been in order on the dip last week...I think it went down to .008 or so.
LOL...Yeah...guess we should've picked up 10K on the IPO eh?
I know. Strange. Just like YHOO way back when. No doubt there seems to be a great deal of pump and dump going on...more than usual. And so many R/S, etc.
Man...we seem to have hit a lull here. Most actives looks pretty bleak.
Wow! No...I didn't see it. I think my meager 200 bucks will settle tomorrow so I can look for something, LOL.
I certainly could use a 10 bagger like that was.
Yeah...that sounds pretty good. I've not checked into those type things yet.
Let me know if something else hits the radar screen. I've been looking today but haven't found any nuggets.
Me too Bud. It's funny to listen to Buffett talk about these guys. What we try to do with momentum...perfectly logical. But to say this and that stock has resistance or support at such and such a level is kind of silly. You see it everyday here, LOL...if XXXX hits XXXX look for a breakout of XXXX...smoke and mirrors to me. And of course you only hear of the successes - sort of like politics. It reminds me of the story Buffett tells of his son as a baby. He plotted his son's growth rate for the first few months. After that, he concluded, if he were to extrapolate that rate going forward using the principles of charting, his son would be taller than the Empire State Building by now.
Random events (or the rumors thereof) move stock prices. Increases / decreases in earnings; merger / acquisition activity. These are the only factors that can move prices and those things can't be read from charts - not beforehand at any rate. While it's true that stocks can be overbought and oversold, this has nothing to do with the divinations of the T/A guys, LOL.
But it's sold many textbooks and fed a few families, LOL, so God bless them.
Amen to that. This really stinks. Maybe I shouln't even trade until I can save up $1,200 - $1,500. But I love researching these things. Sometimes they just don't work out. Every tip you give me, etc. I like to read about it, etc. And they all have seemed perfectly logical so far...unlike the ones you get from brokers.
Would like to have stayed with you on this one. Ask is shaping back up. It sux not to have 200 bucks to lose, LOL.
Had to bail Bud. Need at least $200 to even enjoy my time here waiting on the job interview.
700k shares traded thus far at the ask of .0029. Let's see some real volume and movt. now.
Hey Bud. Responded to the email with a couple.
No...haven't seen the Sith yet. Haven't driven in at least a month, LOL. I heard good things about Madagascar.
I certainly would like to see a nice pop tomorrow with NNNC. I don't have the luxury of watching it sink much below .0024.
Well...let's see if Phoenix can pull this one out.
I may have to bail...I'm playing with my only investment money.
You going to hang on to NNNC through the holiday?
I responded to the mail.
That one dried up pretty fast. Hoping the NNNC momentum keeps going, ie the rumor is true.
Kinda sad when I'm sitting here fretting over a $200 investment. Wonder if it ever happened to Buffett?
Still holding in there. I agree with you...with this kind of volume increase you'd think something was up. Bid / Ask fallen back abit. But it's had a good run today from open.
Got the mail. Will look into it this evening. Thanks.
