You're going too fast for me BooDog as I think you've skipped a week!
I think things look great but until our flagship drug is in Phase 3 and with the days counting down we may just stubbornly stick in the low 1s. Truly very annoying but a guaranteed change is on the way.
Does it matter? The point is that if the B-ABSSSI trial impresses then Leo will likely get more than a few offers for funding B. We can get excited when it happens but the progress of B should certainly attract interest in the stock.
It is good to know everyone of our drug trials is moving forwards and some with the tantalizing possibility of being a target of big pharma funding. We are not there yet but everyday we get closer. Nice feeling and a point which will not for ever remain unnoticed by the investment community.
Let's face it you haven't exactly given CTIX a glowing report since expressing your concerns here. The CEO is running this company the best way he knows how and I am okay with that and have the patience to see him out. In fact impatience is the number one problem with some investors it seems.
Come on Scottsmith you have to agree with that.
We are expecting a lot of news out of CTIX anytime now and when I previously suggested they may be restricted from buying for the moment I still think that could be the reason for no purchases. I imagine they are be being ultra cautious in what they can or cannot do.
Otherwise you are right and it would certainly be helpful.
And perhaps you are wrong and they are currently restricted from buying shares.
Those are all the ingredients that do equate to an advancing share price and Mr Market is about to wake up.
We have an amazing pipeline of drug trials and proposed trials going forward and it would be a problem to me if we had to put a stay on any of them because of financing issues. Solve that problem and we don't have anything to worry about except future results. I think clarity (again) on that issue would be helpful. If it's clear that Aspire can take of them then I'm ok with that.
Otherwise even with my concerns we are totally undervalued and good news feeding on good news will put us back to where we should be.
Mainly to get it done and over with without constantly dribbling stock into the market if that is the Aspire way. I believe it removes an uncertainty and would be beneficial to the stock price. If you think that's wrong I am perfectly happy to be corrected. I don't care if it's 12 million plus share dilution as in the long run that will be meaningless.
I posted this morning that I am in favor of Leo doing a private placement (at least $10 million) as I see it as having a very bullish affect on the share price. In no way am I trying to scare weak hands as I believe this is going much much higher as anyone used to my posting knows.
Fully agree and sincerely hope Leo is working on it.
I thunk! Was it for that reason (and to ride their short down) or are they trying to get in on a placement?
News could get quite condensed here and maybe the tide is turning. Although K is supposedly not of great value yet I can't help feeling that when the chat starts on an ovarian cancer trial followed by a pancreatic cancer trial that CTIX hits the headlines. And we will be in those headlines a very long time.
Not to forget B-OM, P, and B-ABSSSI phase 3 kick off.
It's baby money that's pushing it down. Just waiting for a return of the big buyers..and they will come. A scramble to buy is such a lovely thought.
At last a brain has written what a lot of us have been arguing and I sincerely hope the Rosen lawsuit is seen for what it is and thrown out. Good bye, good riddance, adios and let' get this thing moving up again.
Yes going on the Nasdaq would have been one less thing for some to moan about. However, biotech has taken a deep dive and CTIX was wrongfully attacked. We might not have been any better off but you have to admit progress, although slow, has been pretty darn good. Give Leo a chance we really don't know what he has up his sleeve.
One reason is Brilacidin is the first of a completely new class of antibiotics called defensin-mimetics and the FDA has to take its time on this one. Don't blame Leo for the opportunity of a lifetime even if you can't see it.
Some people might call it muck raking but it's always good to have somebody prepared to go the extra distance. Of course the uplisting only becomes relevant if the $2 price is pierced which with the continued good progress being reported shouldn't be a problem.
Should be enough time for the red ones to recover. For myself the ten year thought might lead to apoptosis of the testicles (if that's the same as withering).
What a good post. Thanks.
I agree it's disappointing but today's announcement is great and just underpins the stock even more. Brilacidin was what took us to previous highs and I think we badly need to see the B-ABSSSI trial underway asap.
I fully believe we will come out of this funk very soon and todays news can only help.
I don't disagree but the current perception is the stock is low because of the lack of financing. It removes a seen negative.
I think it might be too hard for the "big boys" to resist if we get both ovarian and pancreatic trials under way.
Personally I think you are losing sight of the fact that many bios use on time funding (not always timely).
More like biotech market conditions but nothing a little extra money can't put right.
I hope they get this in the press.
Your assessment is too gloomy.
I don't think that matters much but if it's Aspire I certainly would be happy as a little more in the kitty would be bullish.
I believe this is terrific news and the start of the ovarian cancer trial can only heighten the anticipation of K's success.
More and more building blocks being added.
OK, so what he got a good deal. So there is so much more to this company we just have to wait. It seems waiting periods bring out a lot of b/s just for the sake of it.
What's more important the science or Leo's loan?
This little company's pipeline progress has been nothing but stellar which is the only topic that really counts. It is also the one topic detractors never discuss, Funny that.
Outstanding job to be this far advanced in three entirely different compounds. Congratulations and thanks to management.
Leo has said we will get to the point of continuous news flow which will be great for the stock and will lead to a better discussion.
Leo Ehrlich has assembled a great team led by Dr Jorgensen with expert consultants to take all our pipeline through FDA and on to approvals. This all takes time but it is the results of the individual drugs that take the stock higher, and on a permanent basis, not some short term remedy because a CEO or Director bought stock.
I have never bought a biotech and then spent months worrying about listing requirements when worrying about the success or failure of company drug trials are the only thing that counts. Current updates give good reason to be optimistic for the patient investor.
I am very positive about my investment here and post likewise. I believe there will continue to be excellent trial results which will enable the company to raise money and provide potentially extraordinary growth prospects for CTIX. This will eventually be recognized by the investing community and the stock price will rise accordingly. This is my opinion and I see no reason to change it.
Yes I tend to agree my previous post was a rant at the "attack" group and hope one day, somehow they have to pay.
Personally I believe the "attack" had plenty to do with the company needing funds which made us an easy target. Tell a bunch of lies get the stock down to profit on the short position and keep it down to go long at a depressed offering price.
Leo knows a lot more than we do and I think believes there will be enough scientific success to enable him to get the funds needed. It's certainly a tricky battle but what news we do have has all been good.
He's on our side don't forget.
As I believe "buyers will appear from nowhere" I wouldn't wait.
About 25000 in the last fifteen minutes.
As you can see a few buyers came out of nowhere. They are there just biding their time.
Continued scientific success will bring attention to CTIX and out of nowhere the buyers will return. You can put your money on that.
