Hi Cattracker1,
Don't read too much into these charts but it just gives a good feeling to see that the trend is bullish.
However there is no saying how it will move. Here are a couple. There were a few more that I could not locate today.

Hey Folks,
I was looking at several charts today and most of them are extremely bullish on APDN.
I expect to see a nice move upwards next week.
Hey McSharkey,
God!! I don,t know how I missed it but congratulations on your son's promotion. That makes the week-end all the more special.
One day the APDN stock price will make one of our week-ends very special for all of us.
Cheers!!
Thanks McSharkey,
Enjoy your Memorial Day week-end and keep posting at the same time.
Would like to extend my wishes to all others on the board. I too was quite pleased with the way APDN has held up, to end at .22 this week.
Hope next week we are able to march ahead and upwards.
GLTA
Shail
Not until we see some positive revenue related PRs.
All along it has only been rallying on hopes.
Hey A1Mill and Wishful,
You folks are embarrassing me. I do understand.
I had marked it to a few of you specifically as you were the most likely to have an answer. Johnsyn did reply and gave me a very elaborate answer.
Thanks never-the-less.
No apologies needed Johnsyn.
I appreciate the sincerity with which you respond to every post.
Yes the ISO standards have largely been used for manufactured goods but are gradually being used by the service industry too. The percentages are lopsided in favor of Manufacturing.
Thanks Johnsyn,
That was a great reply and cleared my doubts.
Crede Investment - Was hoping to get an answer to my earlier post about the last lot of shares given to Crede in a cashless transaction.
Could not follow why it was cashless. I remember having read in an article that the Series A & B shares were expected to fetch around $9 mn to APDN.
Happy to see the rise in price. Hope it stays that way
GLTA
Good Morning all,
Wonder why we have these early morning spikes and then it comes back.
Why would someone be buying at those prices only to see it fall later in the day. This has been a pretty regular feature with this stock.
Hi Johnsyn, WT, A1Mill, McSharkey and others,
I was trying to understand this deal with Crede for financing.
Having read the recent 10Q report, the little that I understood is as follows:
Crede was issued :
On Nov 29th 2012 - 10,752,688 shares @ .186 = $2 mn
On Jan 7th 2013 - 5,500 Sr. A Preferred = $ 5.5Mn
This explains the $7.5 mn financing deal.
On Jan 8th 2013, the 5,500 Preferred shares were converted to
25,462,963 common stock shares @ .216. APDN had this option to convert.
In addition, Crede was issued
Series A warrants of 10,752,688 shares @ .2232/share
Series B warrants of 29,569,892 shares @ .2232/share and
Series C warrants of 26,881,720 shares
Of the above, on Jan 22nd 2013, APDN repurchased the Series C shares for $50,000.
On April 25, 2013 Crede exercised the Series A & B shares totaling to 31,257,045 shares. This was said to be a cashless deal. This is something that I did not understand. If these shares were to be given at a stipulated price, why is it being termed as a cashless deal.
The only good thing about this is that if Crede has so many shares, I am sure Crede would be looking for a lot more from APDN
Hope I have not posed a silly question.
Hi Johnsyn,
Thanks for posting. At least someone continues to promote this with enthu.
Hope this gets the price up a bit.
Yeah McSharkey,
Why not begin with some kind of a joint representation to Debbie or Mitchell.
If they don't respond to our individual mails, maybe a collective voice will be heard.
I am glad that Zacks is sticking to their opinion about APDN.
By the way I would have no hesitation in accepting the 100000 shares as a gift from this board.
Cheers and good luck. I am hoping to see .30 by the quarter end.
Did anyone get to read the latest report from Zacks. They have maintained the "Neutral" rating and remain optimistic about the technology with a target of .25( time frame??)
Should help a bit.
Don't have an answer to that but the one good thing I read over the week- end is that the Dr ha invested his own $1.35 mn in APDN.
Hence I am sure that he would be keen on protecting his investment.
Sorry McSharkey,
Venting out my frustrations on the board. I want to believe otherwise but these repeated quarterly scenarios shake my confidence. Can't blame the management though. They have to do what is right and are hopefully doing it.
Just would have been nice to see some revenue streams other than just the DLA.
Like your confidence.
GLTA
Counld'nt agree more with you Pasta.
Need to get some answers from Mitchell and a few postive PRs to get this to at least stabilize around .20.
Will be painfull if it goes all the way back to .15 or .17. The fact remains that the Dr does not care about us small investors.
Interesting to read a news letter of 2009, talking about APDN.
http://otcpicks.com/applied-dna-sciences.htm
The article talks about so many strategic partners and the potential for revenue from each one of them. I particularly noticed the para on BioActive Ingrediants and later the one talking about a $9 mn contract with the UK Textile Centre of Excellence.
4 years hence, where are we on all these fronts. I have been into APDN almost since 2008 but had never focussed so much on it till now.
The DLA contract has certainly brought APDN into the limelight but these other relationships should have matured by now.
Hi a1mill,
I do not remember the Dr making any specific mention of his contract.
You could probably send your question again to Mitchell.
Hi Wishful,
Thank you for the compliments. Others have been more active and more informative through their posts though.
I like your confidence in APDN and being long in this stock I too want to believe in the potential that this company has.
However, the suspense is unnerving and at times frustrating. High time this shows some consistent upward trend and high time they show some revenues and lower losses.
GLTA
Hi a1mill,
Oh!! I did not connect the dots when I read your post but noticed this when I was doing some surfing on APDN.
Can't imagine why this would be cancelled as the Dr had clearly mentioned in the news that the deal was going well. If this is the case, then I am beginning to have doubts about all the fancy contracts that they announce.
Exactly the reason why I am so concerned about revenues from these other streams. They keep harping about DLA only. Even if the DLA has taken longer than estimated to ramp up, these other contracts should have shown good progress by now.
I have sent an e-mail to Mitchell about this but I doubt I will get an answer.
Thanks for your reply.
Hey Folks,
Does anyone know what happened to this order from a Luxury Brand??
http://www.adnas.com/SMPR/APDN-signs-8.7-million-dna-authentication-agreement
They were to get a million dollars from them in 2011.
Sorry I might have missed out something but would like to know the status of this deal.
Thanks
Completely agree with you. I too felt cheated that morning. In fact I felt guilty that I asked my son to invest in the stock and while he had every opportunity to exit at .264 with a decent profit, I asked him to hang on, looking at the trend that morning.
I guess you summed it up well in one sentence - You have to think like a thief on the OTC.
Sad but so be it. I am too straightforward for these games but will try and change.
Thanks McSharkey,
You write from your heart. I like it.
Let us stay strong and positive and have a great week end too.
I will send out my mail to Mitchell before signing off.
True but I only hope that we stay in the 20s at least
Yes. It is holding well at the .23 level.
I hope we end the week at this level or higher. Was expecting a lot worse.
Got that Johnsyn. Thanks. In fact McSharkey pointed out my error in referring to him as her.
To be honest the name sounded feminine. My mistake.
Thanks all the same.
Very well worded McSharkey.
a1mill - if you could send the list of contracts that you had prepared to Mitchell and ask about the progress on each one of them, it will be great.
Hey folks,
Going by the conversation, are we all of a sudden doubting this whole thing. I hope not.
The results were fairly expected and a1mill also made a great estimate before they were declared. The fundamentals and the potential still remain the same.
Thanks McSharkey for pointing out ( you know what!!).
Mitchell has sent an e-mail thanking all those who registered for yesterday's call and has asked us to send questions, comments or feedback to her.
We should ask her about the revenue from other contracts, besides DLA and about our cash flow concerns if any.
Yes you are right. In fact if one looks at your list of contracts or tie-ups, which you had summarized, there are so many about which the Dr makes no mention.
A1mill- I had complimented you on your estimate as I had always felt that it was a pretty logical estimate.
Great job.
Hi Johnsyn, McSharkey and Forward50,
Thank you for your frank individual perspectives on the stock. Gives me a sense of what to expect.
At the end of it all, I think we all agree that "revenues" is what matters and it is high time APDN starts showing some real proof of that. A few PRs here and there promising the moon, are not going to cut ice for long.
I hope at the end of Q3 we see some real good numbers and not just a few more PRs
GLTA and thanks again for your replies.
Hi McSharkey,
What concerns me the most is that APDN seems to be banking too much on the DLA contract to boost its revenues.
Agreed that this may take off in Q3 & Q4 but what about the numerous other contracts that they have talked about and which were summarized on this board just the day before.
Are we saying that these do not generate any significant revenue??. The doctor should clarify what kind of potential do these relationships have.
Hi Johnsyn,
What is your gut feel. How will this stock move tomorrow.
Will it be a major slump and then the usual long climb back over the quarter? It held up reasonably well today except for the end of day drop.
Thanks Atlanta1 for reproducing the para.
I hope people have understood what that means.
I agree with you Pasta.
The Dr gave no such indications and I do not believe he will lie to the investors. He had always given a reasonable and positive picture of the potential.
What makes you think they will run out of cash.
The Dr. Gave no such indication. In fact, if I am not mistaken he said that they have the cash flow to fund their operations and expansion plans.
Correct me if I am wrong.
