I think amigo or xzx called it nearly to the day: right after "August 2nd". Also notice the timing was again in the final hour of trading...
That's nearly 1/2 the size of Pebble!
Now we know...
Wow! Wouldn't that be a nice twist...they'd certainly be showing fine investor acumen, getting out of NAK near its yearly top, and in on LBSR near its historical bottom...
MLV was a stroke of genius and a game changer for LBSR. It will be interesting to know who was the brains behind that move (JB, Vollmer, someone else?).
Any of our-truly going to be in attendance?
Well-reasoned, but don't you think world copper/gold/moly/silver/rhenium demand completely eclipses even what lies beneath the ground in the BCSP caldera?
Wow, you nailed that one, LH.
Please send as an editorial to the Ankorage Daily!!
Yeah, baby!!
So what? [my favorite Miles Davis jazz tune, btw]
This changes nothing for LBSR as a terrific investment.
Though folks perhaps should lengthen their time frame a bit for JV'ing Tombstone. SRK report is taking slower than thought...
I actually sleep like a baby with LBSR...hasn't always been true with other investments.
The deep resonance of the JGG and the depth of 6+ Pebbles will indeed shake the (money)trees...
Pinky,
Thanks for your advocating to RT!
Hopefully that sweetens more than my coffee!!
Leverage though will come more from alternative bids/funding via MLK and "encourage" greater generosity from RT/HDI/NAK/U5.
Milo
Just had to giggle a bit...made my morning coffee oh so sweeter!
Thanks, 'fil!!
:)
Thanks, SGR.
Wow...basically < $5M for wild-catted, but well-educated drill holes knabbed a cool $1.5B. Nice return, heh!?
Any idea how much drilling costs have gone up in the last 8 years?
Superb, HKipp! Thank you...
As I've shared in many ebullient posts, I have and remain very bullish. I'm a strong believer in the LBSR story.
It really is hard to punch holes in any argument for owning shares, at least at this incredible bargain-basement level. As S4 has stated, this is the finest time to own shares in this company's history!
BTW, I read posts in chronical order this morning, so answered infiltrader's list just before reading your response.
Good Saturday to all. Looking forward to Vegas!
Milo
Excellent, infiltrader! I'll try to counter...
1.That they decide to switch gears again if there is another economic down turn and run out of cash again needing someone else to bail them out. With JB already "being very busy" with our existing claims, and some counter-weighted minerals, e.g. gold vs copper, or either vs uranium, we have some cushion against another down-turn. And of course Ben Bernanke will assure a QE3 if we do. JB is also probably wanting to secure his legend, so he's got to "get it to market" with our goods in the ground, to prove himself fully.
2. That they can't get funding to drill due to holding out for too much. Having nearly gone broke and lost it all, 'Beggars can't be choosers' can't be too far out of their consciousness. He has made reasonable deals in the past. So that's a good predictor of his future decision-making capacity and judgment. It's also still a strong sellers-market (for mining companies wanting to monetize their claims).
3. They drill for a while but don't prove anything out before we run out of funding like we did with Xstate. Less a risk than ever, in the history of mining, with the advent of ZTEM.
4. They find more lenders like A&P that try to take over the company and cause another lawsuit. Our attorney is probably already working over-time on 'checking in twice-thrice-etc.' Most of us don't put our hand on the stove twice.
5 JB milks the system for a 100K a year salary while "not being in a hurry" for shareholders. Then cuts and runs after being pressed to actually accomplish something outside of doing geology tests on our lands. Then shareholders finding out that, woops, ztem only LOOKED like pebble but wasn't really anything.
Well, that's sort of a two-parter: firstly, 100k gets one by, but surely leaves him wanting more (at least to leave to his grandkids); secondly, HKipp as I recall, called Geotech and got good assurance that the ZTEM findings are as true as advertised in the NR. NAK/HDI also would not have felt that sorry for us to throw away $4M+.
Nor do I...but healthy to ask no?
xzx (fellow shareholder I assume),
You own that shirt?
I asked a simple question...what worries one the most about owning LBSR, specifically...nothing more, nothing less...any other takers besides the grim reaper/undertaker?
Common on, xzx, I mean company specific.
Can anybody take a crack at an estimate for drilling our BCSP claims? I.e. cost per foot to drill and assay?
HKipp,
I value your opinion greatly. Please answer what all investors should ask:
For LBSR,
what is the worst case scenario?
OR
what could go most wrong?
Did anyone already catch/post this??

Friedrich moving into our home office turf! Here's some teasers...
That's as good as it gets from any IR, my friends...
...buy now/more if you can!!
I am.
My brothers were asking me about cost of drilling...anybody know what NAK paid for their drilling program? What could/would we expect in 2011 dollars (for BCSP)?

Hang in there MadT...and for god's sake HANG ON TO YOUR LBSR SHARES!!
I've shifted in my opinion of JB...
He has:
#1: found incredible ("zoom-zoom") claims
#2: he has been flexible to grow our claims despite enviro-socio adversities
#3: he has hired very strong compadres for our executive team/BOD
#4: he saved the company from destruction
#5: he has hired very fine and professional folks to now give us "the mother of all monetizations"
BTW, I feel more secure knowing that Vollmer could step in, just in case JB's questionable health should take him out...
I WILL JOIN YOU SOON, HAMMER, WITH MORE PURCHASES
...I CAN'T PASS UP THE BARGAIN OF A LIFE TIME!
WOW, ANOTHER GREAT POINT ON THE BOARD TODAY!
GO LBSR!
VERY SOLID LOGIC, xzx!!!
SOOOOOOO EASY TO OWN LBSR...
...I HAVE MAJOR FUNDS FREEING TO FUND MORE PURCHASE SOON.
Ataboy, Banks!!
We all are no dummies here...we know what and why we own this baby. WE ALL WILL SCORE BIGTIME WITH LBSR!!
ABSOLUTELY!!!
DRILLING WILL BE AMAZINGLY MAGICAL TO LIFT, LIKE WITH A MAGICIAN'S WAND, OUR SHARE PRICE...
<BY THE WAY I'M A MAGICIAN, BUT I SPECIALIZE IN SLEIGHT OF HAND...HAND NOT WAND>
Thanks for the tantalizing tidbit, AD!
Wow! Pretty much a replica!
I think this is the best explanation for these rapid and transient drops...
