Huh? My hand? I'm educated but could you be a little more literal and a little less metaphorical? I've posted many times over the past months on this board...I'm averaged in at .08 cents a share, how many shares I own is my business...I read the court documents and study charts as much as the next guy...What do you want to know? I haven't posted much over the past few weeks, but I've follow every post and read every court document so I have no clue what you mean...I Miss Monk's postings--before you were even here...as well as other earlier investors so you're making quite an assumption with my DD regarding this company.
Your logic makes little sense to me as an experienced investor...If it had closed at .27 instead of .255 you'd be a believer?? based on what? Since it didn't hit .27 you think that we will retest the "teens" again? I can't disagree with you more on this...The volume has been lower than it has been in the past, but other than that, there is no reason to support the argument--either by chart or by news--that we will retest the teens...This seems like quite an inaccurate assumption...There's heavy support in the low .20s range, and with decent volume, this has the potential to break .30 much more likely than dropping back down to the teens...IMO.
Absolutely in agreement...the chart is about as good as it gets for any BK stock I have looked into in the past, and the continual progress of court documents and research provided by many here, it seems to me a matter of patience...I've been holding for months, have gained more than 400% on my investment, but am not going anywhere...This is the beginning...With patience--IMO--we will all be rewarded greatly in the near future!
Which would make all the approved date extensions logically accepted, without any objections as we have seen...I don't think the judge would be that willing to accept every extension request this week if, as has been discussed, something is going on behind the scenes...IMO
The "Bradford site" dispute has been finally settled in our favor and signed by the courts today allowing the sale or transfer of that asset:
"WHEREAS, the Court held a hearing on the Sale Procedures Motion on May 15, 2009, and heard argument from all parties-in-interest;
WHEREAS, at that hearing, the Court ruled that it would approve the Sale Procedures Motion in its entirety"
After some legal ping-pong, the court docs have been signed today...Hmm...wonder how much that sight is worth??
Definitely agree...4 million isn't the "big boys," blocks of 4 million would be more like it...On the last major day we broke 10 million shares in the first couple of hours. A few million shares is nothing, though great to see the pickup from the volume of the past week or two. I do notice there are increasing numbers of new naysayers. The last batch disappeared after the last leg up, I think it's about time for the next move up, show some of these newbies what this company/stock can do . A shot of green $ patience for all!
Well, given the fact that the creditor's meeting is tomorrow is plenty of reason to see a run by end of day...Some major decisions will be made then announced, and many indications lead to positive news so volume should pick up and buying should remain strong today and tomorrow especially, then depending on the news, continue.
Yup, and generally speaking when there's a sale there's also a buy...Analysis comes in hand when you look at selling pressure--heavy volume traded at the bid, and a decreasing bid--it seems to be a bit of a tug-of-war today so far, on rather low volume.
Wow, just a few court docs to read through from yesterday ...Like reading a financial novel this morning...Though I like what I see, and as we're starting to see a bounce of the daily low, I think we may end in Friday fashion--EOD run...Cheers, and have a good weekend, big news next week...based on the bonds and the chart setup, it could be a beautiful run depending on the news!
Either that or traders have taken the day off! This volume is pathetic...We haven't even broken a million shares yet...Hopefully it trades sideways until the volume picks up again.
Depending on the news, they can release new information at any time...As far as the court proceedings are concerned, I notice they generally list the activity/decisions etc near or after market close on the day of the hearing.
I can only speculate, but with low volume, I think an increase in short positions may have pushed the price down causing a domino effect leading others to sell...People that usually show up out of nowhere to bash, in my experience, are day-trading short players...Unfortunately, I think they scared out some others. That would be my guess. A pull back is reasonable, but it was being manipulated clearly yesterday.
Most definitely...Us chartists only one small thing at this point=volume...It's coming! Too many people panicked the past couple of days, and new board bashers showed up...Nice to see both the charts line up, the good news, and the bashers gone
Skyrockets in flight? :P
I'm not subscribed so I can't reply in private so I apologize to the board for this post, but take a look at yesterday and especially today, I think you slightly mis-interpreted the charts (referring to post from-cemjq):). GLTU.
Last day before a major court hearing on Monday...EOD should be very interesting .
There's only a couple market days left until one of the major court hearings so it's a pretty safe bet that people are going to scramble to grab shares before the news--whatever it turns out to be--gets released.
I almost feel bad for the panic sellers who sold in the low .20s...almost...Nah, I laugh for their bashing :P.
Yup, newbies don't understand that bulls run this stock! they've been trying to chop it down all morning but the volume is back from vacation...Let's make up some lost ground; I see the grass growing here
Easy BABA...I'm actually enjoying this...New short positions means it's going to be much more vindictively exciting when stock runs...It's all patience...New posters are probably new shorters so let them short down as far as they want, then we can laugh when they get they have to cover.
Thanks for the Analyst link...Good to see, many stopped following the stock since it filed chapter 11 and many don't follow OTC stocks generally, so good to find a recent analyst update (post ch-11 filing).
Thanks, it was intended to be ...reading endless posts of non-researched investors bashing like yesterday gets annoying, so once in a while I toss out a strong opinion. Cheers.
Wow, a new poster and a fraud to boot! There was no single sale of 180k shares yesterday at that price you claim, and if you know anything about charts, trends and news, you wouldn't make such foolish claims. This trend is exactly the same as the trends of those from the past several weeks...After a 100+% run up, it's been pulling back, yes, on low volume...Smart investors are holding steady, nervous investors are waiting on the sidelines waiting to see what happens, foolish investors are selling their shares hoping to catch some other train and run up for a day...Short interest has risen a bit, so it shall be even sweeter when the volume hits, and since you know little about this company from what you post, the last run up jumped 50% in less than 2 hours on 10 million shares traded, then continued before pulling back some. This stock doesn't tick upwards, it leaps, so do us all a favor and sell your shares (if you own any) and bash on another wall...This will not see the teens again unless horrible news is announced. With earnings, only a couple trading days before big court announcements, mark my words...People will jump on in anticipation, especially given the recent drop in pps...If not starting tomorrow, certainly by Friday. I've been here since the single digits and I'm not the least bit concerned...you've posted a couple times on red days...save your chart advice, you'll lose that analysis with me . Cheers to everyone else, this will run up very soon IMO.
I have a feeling something's coming up, stock was pushed way down on little volume for no reason, now second half of the day the volume is coming in large buys...someone wanted to free up some shares.
With this volume it's not even worth watching...EOD could bring 4 times the current high and close green
Not to mention 2Q earnings coming out this month, I think we'll be happily surprised!
Some major price manipulation going on
yeah, the volume is extremely low thus far...If the volume picks up, so will the price, it's been quite volatile with lower than average volume, but as in the past, heavy volume has launched the pps over 50% in every instance since I've owned shares.
Your L2 service may have a slight delay at the moment, I get random things like that once in a while
Yes Shares are currently down the first hour...The only "Court Case" is the bankruptcy...What's been referred to and is constantly advancing with different steps are hearings and filings revolving around the BK. It's not a win/lose scenario, there are at least half a dozen different items being approved or passed through the courts today. The meaningful court days and decisions are in the near future.
Well, give it a bit more than 50 minutes to catch up .
Hmmm, a kind of pleasant Deja Vu...High volume???...oh yeah awesome money making days!
Share prices have generally followed shortly behind bond prices, and bonds have gone through the roof, as have shares...Bonds are more secure but a lot more expensive so it's nice to see big money moving into both shares and bonds IMO.
I love it when that happens
I am very much a technical trader myself...Spread your scope out a bit and you'll see why most short term technical analysis are bullish if not strongly bullish...MA's, RSI, a solid gap from the last drop off (when they filed chapter-11)...Intraday you may have a point, but most investors, including myself aren't playing this as a day trading stock. Technical analysis are just one aspect, without any charts or technical analysis, the news factor alone indicates a very bullish sentiment. Many successful BK proceedings are happening every day, with a couple of the biggest yet due a week from now...News and movement drive a stock--charts give you the rear view analysis, not the other way around--so listen to what some of these people are saying they're not ignorant as you boldly claim. Every intraday chart I study indicated that I should have sold around .15 after the run up...I know there's much more to stock than charts, however, so I held and it's more than doubled since then...The BK filings are laying it out, plus the bond plays and the low O/S shares, this week will be bullish regardless of the charts, mark my words on that one ...If it breaks .38 and runs, you may find yourself buying back in, as you say, at .60 or .70 cents, and if a hint of strong news is released next week, perhaps a buck. Many stocks, including the indexes are not following market logic right now with all the volatility out there, so don't be too dependent on a penny stock in BK to always follow the charts--watch the trends--at a glance you can see the strong upward moment of the past several weeks. GLTU.
Seriously! I'll take a retrace/pull-back to a 30% gain any day ...I'll be watching but they're cutting me off, I've reached my post limit for the day so let's break the high and keep the strong volume--this one's almost too easy I love it.
yeah all the Court dates and legal docs can be found here: http://www.kccllc.net/chemtura just click on the link "court docs" and you'll see a ton of legal info. Some of it is formalities and not that important to the stock, but others are definitely worth reading.
...I like the way you think hehe...I agree. They're be a pull back at some point, but nothing major in the near future from what I can see. Every major sale is overrun by more buyers with money to spend. A couple words is all it takes to send this stock into dollar land...Asset Sale...Profit...Common Shares in tact...etc etc. The big guys are picking back up on this (As are the bondholders) and aren't going to miss an 3-500% gain on such a court release. I certainly am not...GLTA, $$$$$
Another small, yet uncontested court process is taking place as of 930 AM...Each step in our favor...Yesterday it took me an hour to read through all the court hearings, which I think is what partially has been driving the stock late in the day and into today. In addition to the charts, for a BK, definitely read the daily court docs when they occur since most aren't published as news releases.
I think we'll close green with this volume, but even if it pulls back...Look back at the last few runs, a couple day pull back followed by another run...It's a technical dream for chartists. and remember all these new buyers in the .25-.30 cent range aren't going to be selling their shares anytime soon...This is likely those who bought in at the teens cashing out on a double, not realizing that this stock has the potential for much higher gains IF you're patient. I could sell my shares right now for a helluva profit, but unless terrible news gives me reason otherwise, I'm holding for much larger gains .
