Here's what is really significant-- With only a year of planning, this company has attracted a prospective buyer. That's quite an amazing feat when you think about it. This company had no operations to speak of as of last fall.
Like I've said before- you have middle-aged industry veterans running the show with decades of experience. They aren't in this game for some paltry payday. And like most industries, it's really a small world- I'm certain the Aurus board is quite well known among mining companies.
Clout matters & we have a boatload.
I'm already on record as stating I don't believe the buyout will occur with the offer submitted this coming Tuesday. And only because the BOD feels they can receive a better offer SOON. It's very possible there are other offers already being floated that do not include cash only.
But the fact they are considering it shows they will sell at the right price. That is very positive IMO.
You knew his type was going to show his face tonite, Obi. Asking stupid-ass questions not even remotely related to what is truly important here.
I'm going to enjoy ignoring him and any other basher who bothers to show his face. I have to believe a lot of them are a bit discouraged and won't come by until the PPS goes down again. Methinks they will be absent for quite some time.
Not enough has been mentioned about the following:
"The contents of the ore deposits have been confirmed by the Ministry and have satisfied the party making the offer."
Now just think about this for a minute- Aurus had to perform DD on the offeror & vice versa. Furthermore, the deposits have satisfied the party making the offer.
If they've been 'satisfied', it means that the assets are indeed legit. And you can bet they have the means to make an offer worthy of such deposits or Aurus wouldn't even bother with a special meeting to discuss the tender.
This might end up to be a lot bigger deal than I was expecting
LOL- looks like you have plenty to spend your AURC profits on
The wild card in this whole buyout deal is really what Aurus has to offer in assets. Although they have $4.5B in the ground, we don't know how conservative this number is. You can bet the party making the offer is well aware of the value and will base it upon that.
Anything over $500M in cash and the PPS will never go beneath $1.50 again- whether Aurus accepts the deal or not
Oh, BTW- in regards to your comment about people being excited here about sub-penny gains...
You must realize that some of us own hundreds of thousands or millions of shares, so it doesn't take much of a gain to make ten grand. My 940K shares gave me a pretty decent day, but you're right-- the real excitement will be when AURC is selling for $$ instead of .12
So, you did spend about 10K after all then? Can't say I disagree with your decision, dude. Looks like you already made a couple of grand in a matter of two hours or so.
Not a bad start ;o)
Maybe you're just an exuberant fellow, but I have to view your $55 prediction with a bit of scepticism. Especially right after Aurus PPS had this type of day.
You aren't setting the table for naysayers tonite by creating unrealistic expectations of an 'overenthusiastic long' are you? After seeing the lengths that professional bashers will go through to choke a rally, I have become leery of even the most positive of posts when they seem to be ridiculous in their predictions.
But hey, if that's just your style, more power to you. I don't think there are any tactics the bashers can use to keep us down much longer.
Once we break .13 tomorrow, it's off to the races. That will break some serious resistance and the .20s will be next.
But the day is coming when the price will routinely jump .10 instead of pennies.
THIS BOARD WILL ROCK TONITE em
Hey Joenatural-- did you pull the trigger?
C'mon- tell me you had a good day...
.105x.11 We have lift-off!!
I'm amazed we aren't much higher. With everything the company has going for it, this should be trading over .50 EASY right now. A lot of folks will be kicking themselves by this time next week.
It's obvious that investors are coming to the conclusion that Aurus is for real and this offer is no joke. The cash proposal speaks volumes and is driving our PPS-- only mystery is what the amount is. That will be the big news on Tuesday...
Hmmm... the plot thickens!!
Hey- were's the Perry Mason music??!!
.097x.010 HERE WE GO
.094x.095. Dime is going down next...
PPS is fascillating wildly. This is getting fun---
No way they accept a buyout of $1/share. It will take $2+ for them to seriously consider it. Especially if some of the high-concentrations of gold they have reported discovered can be mined during the short-term.
I'm certain the offer will be for less than $2/share and they will NOT accept it. Others here are more optomistic but I really believe the company is setting up the scenario for a bidding war once the PPS rises as a result of the impending offer. JMHO
Of course-- now the MMs try to pick up some cheapies before the EOD run. You might be right cfpjbs
Need to get rid of the wide spread- f'n MMs.
.09x.095??? ooohhh, yah em
OK Benz, I want to have fun, too--
40K @ .089. Yowza.
It's go time- em
Fence-sitting? If you want AURC for less than a dime, you'd better buy now. Time is running out...
Bamm- 087x088. Get ready to rock again...
You the man, benz. More is better ;o)
Excellent, 2c! You are obviously held in high regard when the VP is e-mailing you confirmations of PRs.
It's about time some of you naysayers woke up. Then again, a few are probably scrambling to free up some funds for some Aurus as we speak.
Just trying to read between the lines here...
There are several factors in the way the PRs have been disseminated which makes me wonder just what type of cash offer we will see next Tuesday.
It seems that the delay in paying the divi could have been affected by the potential buyout of Aurus shares. At the same time, I wonder why the BOD would bother putting out a release about 2C's video just prior to a buyout announcement. It's not as if they would need to pump up the PPS price when there is a buyout imminent-- unless they were more than one buyout candidate (as was mentioned in the first PR on 4/2 when they referred to 'parties').
Just a few observations; maybe someone else could give their impressions of what these might mean (if anything)
Hmmm... PPS moving up- is that you, Joe?
Hey Joe- we're going to pay attention to you now! Tell us how much you buy, OK?
sub360- just look at my post #38358 to him and click on his name. You can then reverse your ignore--
He has to buy now S/R- just think of the responses he gets next week if he decides to back out and Aurus goes to the moon. I sure wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Besides, the risk/reward ratio on this company is so skewed toward a big payoff anybody would have to be stupid not to see it.
Just click on the 'unignore poster' section of his profile...
thing is- you'll then have to view all of his previous rants.
Oh, crap- now I'll have to take you off ignore LOL
You know you always liked AURC, Joe-
otherwise you wouldn't have been hanging around here. It's good to see you've actually been reading about this company and keeping an open mind. There's hope for you yet!
You won't be sorry for throwing 10K at this stock- it'll probably net you 100 grand or more by next week
The only justification for holding the PPS down is a) an offer has not been extended yet, b) AURC is a pinkie, & c) the offer has been PR'd in advance- many times the best, most legit offers come out of nowhere w/o warning.
There will have to be a major producer with deep pockets involved for this baby to fly, but I'm liking our chances right now. This company has too many high-profile connections to ignore.
Thanks for visiting anyway, see ya around em
Do you think the buyout would be that much for a start-up company w/o much production or equipment? Although AURC has $4.5B in assets, an acquiring firm would still have costs associated with mining the ore. Now if the amount of minerals audited by the Ministry has been low-balled as suggested by S/R, then I could see a billion dollar offer.
I'd love it if that were the case, but I'm just trying to be a bit realistic here...
