If Clayton Parker is an associate of KIRKPATRICK & LOCKHART NICHOLSON GRAHAM LLP, and they are the paid legal counsel for NEOM regarding SEC issues, why aren't they getting ten lashes from shareholders? Why is it the CEO who gets cut up? Will there be a refund of legal fees? Shouldn't they consider other counsel that would not be guilty of such negligence?
Say Claw, I understand it is managements responsibility to get the "filings" correct, but would you have an opinion as to what this firm is responsible for?

They were named at the end of the latest S3
Banks, thanks for taking the time to put that list together. It seems obvious to me also that management has accomplished quite a bit this year and it's only September. Clearly a lot of shareholders have been blinded by this oppressive decline of the PPS, and choose not to give management any credit, only criticism.
Banks, here is their website if your interested:

Cody, I must be blind, because I don't see them, and I looked three times.
Cody, I missed seeing that on the website. Can you confirm again please?

Doc, I think we need to make this a drug free neighborhood. To much hallucinating been going on. Remember this is the OTCBB, the bowels of the stock market, lot of sh*t goin down all the time.
If we were shrewd investors we wouldn't have cut ourselves with the falling knife. Next time I'm sure we won't. Time heals all wounds and stock prices, if the company has what it takes. From what I've read NEOM has it in spades. You met management, these guys are not blundering idiots. We are looking at this company through a foggy window, and the fog is on the inside. We can't see what plans they are making, or deals they are trying to negotiate. I don't think they are twiddling their thumbs.
The dilution sucks, we knew it was coming, it still sucks. When the launch of QODE gains some steam money will come back into the stock quick enough. If this stock has been manipulated down, and I think it has, it can be manipulated up also. We have to wait and see, I'm not going to sell and then watch it go back up again.
Regarding Hip Cricket, the backgrounds of the principles are quite impressive, they have a ton of industry connections, but how successful are they now if NEOM had to lend them 500k?
We can't afford another negative cash flow partner. Also I think their office in Essex CT. is in the private residence of one of the principles, and I'm not sure about their other locations. I'm glad they couldn't come to terms right now.
As you know we need Cornell until the revenues flow. We all thought that would have happened already. Daily volume could easily approach 10 mill a day once the launch of QODE takes hold and gets some headlines. Another big question mark hanging over the company is the Scanbuy suit. A resolution in NEOMS favor will certainly boost the share price. And I wonder also if that resolution will help secure some other licences or deals waiting on the drawing board. All JMHO.
What happened to you Doc? You are one of my heroes on this board. You reminded me of the late great Howard Cosell giving the play by play at the ASM in June. This is one of my favorite posts of yours that I printed out and taped to my wall...

looks like PaperClick will launch 4th quarter. Software will be downloaded by the user from the brand using PaperClick.
One holdup is Mobile formatting of brand co. websites. NEOM ncouraged by companies that can reformat other companies websites to mobile format.
Sacnbuy will be addressed in the presentation. Fritz Sr. would not respond privately about it.
I may be running out of posts here so will ask Jenn or one of the others to post.
Intro to all the staff and products should be ending soon and then the formal presentations start.
There's a large room set up with displays from all of the divisions with all of the employees being very helpful
All of the gang from the board is here so we are well represented. All of management is VERY upbeat....we shall see if they discuss numbers later today.
Kiel a director said that income will take care of the large share float, but no specifices.
Dr. Mike
By the way, "seemingly unending dilution" which is what I said, has a totally different meaning, but I'm sure you already knew that.
Can you tell us who the 12 companies are? You said that you, "believe a couple of them no longer exist". If I am to accept your post as "fact", then you should be able to tell us who they are. In your words, "As I have said before, a lot gets stated here as fact, that just isnt true...". Thanks in advance.
No names or numbers to remember, no scrolling thru your phone if you've stored the address. Just PCC, point, click, connect. It's easy as 1,2,3...do,re,me...a,b,c...might be a good theme song to use in tv and radio adds.
Either his "Visionary" offers as a paid consultant were rejected, or he is a disgruntled shareholder, (with plenty of reasons, I might add) like most others should be. Considering the tremendous DD that has been supplied here, it is hard to believe that QODE won't be a smashing success. Even with this seemingly unending dilution, main stream adoption should produce revenues that will surpass everyones' expectations. It always seems like they are going upstream, instead of with the current.

V-ENABLE Unveils Mobile Industry's First Enhanced Directory Assistance Solution During CTIA; Voice-Enabled Directory Services Give Consumers Instant Access to Local Information
SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 11, 2006 -- Voice-based mobile search technology provider V-ENABLE, Inc. today announced Enhanced Directory Assistance (eDA), the first hands-free mobile solution providing users with access to business and residential listings, maps and driving directions, as well as weather and points of interest.
Designed to support a full range of pricing programs from pay-per-call to free, ad-sponsored models, eDA allows carrier implementations across a wide set of market segments. Available as a white-label service offering, wireless carriers can customize eDA to fit their specific brands and customer needs.
With V-ENABLE's patented technology, voice search can find and retrieve general Yellow and White Pages requests in less than two seconds, with accuracy and speed surpassing automated IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems. Search results appear on users' screens in the form of addresses, phone numbers, maps and driving directions, quickly connecting them to business or residential listings. Subscribers may ultimately request connection with an operator for further assistance, if desired.
Aggressively entering the multi-billion dollar operator-assistance market (also known as '411' or 'directory assistance'), eDA further reduces the cost to wireless carriers while providing more value to the mobile user by often eliminating IVRs and the need for a live operator, replacing those elements with a rich multimedia (voice and text) solution.
In addition, GPS-enabled mobile phones can prioritize eDA requests by location. By asking for a retailer, a user receives a list of nearby outlets with addresses, maps and phone numbers, ranked by distance.
"Voice search doubles the frequency of text-only mobile search, which not only validates the ease of use and convenience associated with our voice interface, but also has the potential to double advertising revenue through increased page views for wireless carriers," said Collin Holmes, VP of product management. "When a user's search results are displayed, in some implementations, a contextual advertisement accompanies those results; V-ENABLE's mobile platform also enables advertisers to deliver coupons to users on their mobile devices, increasing the value of eDA for carriers, consumers and marketers alike."
According to a recent report by The PELORUS Group, US wireless directory assistance revenues will increase from $3.5 billion in 2006 to $6.3 billion by 2009. The PELORUS Group forecasts that eDA will increase from $400 million in 2006 to $1.3 billion by 2009, comprising 25 percent of the total US wireless directory assistance market.

Wow, when you spend to much time with your head in the clouds, or buried in the sand, reality can really suck. Todays financial news was another reminder that we're still a fledgling company, and have a ways to go to be successful. Looks like another example of plans A and B not coming to fruition, and having to settle for plan C (Cornell) again. Not the end of the world, they will keep moving forward, shaping and tweaking plans A and B, till they get it right.
Great post Hangdog and many others, could feel the blood pressure rising in quite a few posts, I love great debates. Personally, I'm upset right now because I have a large asset that I haven't been able to liquidate, and I'm not able to take advantage of this buying opportunity.
Hipcricket was 6 suits, 1 dress, a rolodex, and a software program loaded on some laptops consisting of this:
* Marketing & Mobile Strategy Development
* Marketing Plan Integration
* Creative Content Development
* Full Mobile Phone & Event Program Execution
* Program Tracking & Analysis
* Database Development & Maintenance
Their most valuable asset was the rolodex. JMHO
When NeoMedia becomes successful, companies will be clamoring to partner with them, or license from them. I agree with others comments that better news will be forthcoming soon.

HI Matt, I had a post deleted the other day on the NEOM board.( #80084) Been reading that board for over 2 years, just recently started posting, thought OT before the subject matter was acceptable spam on that board. Is that only if someone doesn't complain? I know people put off topic links on that board all the time and they are still there.
The link was sent as a courtesy to people interested in having that collection of stocks all together. I don't know anything about that website, stumbled upon it accidentally, is it a competitor of yours?
Would you happen to have that link still? I didn't get a chance to save it, and haven't been able to find it again.
Thanks for your time, Tim (EDOQ)

Offtopic..is offtopic and should alway sbe removed...the "OT:" thing is an RB thing.
Personaly I like the OT thing, because you then can choose for yourself whether to read it or not, no harm done to anyone.I'm sensing the moderators choose when OT is offensive or useless and delete accordingly. They have to maintain some decorum, and if I disagree with their choices, then I can choose to complain to MATT, try to become a moderator, or leave the board and go elsewhere. Nowhere does IHUB claim to be a democracy. Would you agree with my assessment?
(????)Andrew, great comments, you've made some valid points.
No Chinese here, I better stop using ?, before I insult someone and not even know it.
Andrew, a few questions...
Is it possible that these payment terms are a reflection of the terms NeoMedia gets with it's manufacturer? (Dupont?)
Would you be willing to comment as to what the wording should be?
Do you know of any other way to do business in China, besides an Agent or Distributor?
If you were NeoMedia, would you send the next order of merchandise, without having been paid for the first?
Do you think management did some DD on Jinche and or other Agents before contracting with them?
I look forward to your comments and opinions

Ni hao, Wo-duh ming-d'zih Nokia (Hello, my name is Nokia)
By Kumar Amitav Chaliha
TMCnet Contributing Editor
Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia (News - Alert) seems to be succeeding in its dream to become a household name in China, the world’s largest and fastest growing telecom market—despite some legal hiccups and competition from the likes ofMotorola ( News - Alert).
In a fresh development today, Nokia today announced in a statement that it has signed an agreement with Hunan Mobile Communication Co., a local arm of China Mobile in Hunan province, for GSM expansion.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia will provide Hunan Mobile Communication with a mobile softSwitch system and services—including network integration, trial operation, and training that will cover the four major cities of Hunan Province.
Earlier this month, Nokia also signed a $150 million contract to expand GSM and GPRS networks for Henan Mobile in Henan province. The proposed expansion is meant to significantly increase network coverage and capacity for mobile phones in the province's rural areas.
Nokia said it is deploying its NetAct network and service management system in Henan. Under the contract, Nokia will also provide network planning, implementation, commissioning, training and care services.
The company said it will start deliveries immediately and the network would be operational by the end of September.
Since 2005, China has been Nokia's biggest market. To beef up its presence there, the company established its $63 million headquarters in the country.
China is the world's largest mobile market, with more 400 million subscribers and about 100 million mobile phones sold in the past year. The number of subscribers is expected to rise to at least 600 million within the next three years.
The country's telecom market has opened up since China joined the World Trade Organization.
In related news, Nokia recently asked a Beijing court to stop Song Xun Da Zhong Ke Electronic Shenzhen and Shenzhen Telsda Mobile Communication Industry Development Co. from manufacturing and marketing its 7260 model mobile phone.
The suit Nokia filed against the two Chinese firms also sought $62,000 (500,000 yuan) in damages. Nokia spokesperson Thomas Jonsonn had said in a release that the company also named Chinese distributors of the phone model as co-defendents in the case.
The distributors named are Beijing Tongwanbao Commerce & Trade Co. Ltd. and Beijing Xin Tongwanbao Commerce & Trade Co. Ltd.
The lawsuit is Nokia's first in China. It now joins the growing list of multinationals such as Wal-Mart, Starbucks and Intel (News - Alert) that have filed trademark lawsuits in China.
Nokia said the lawsuit was part of the firm's continuous efforts to protect its brand value and proprietary designs.
Comment: Hopefully these heavy hitters will be successful in their lawsuits, and in establishing legal precedents.
Vibe magazine and Vibes Media aren't related, as far as I can tell.

Vibes Media's Mobile Campaigns Generate 100 Million Messages, Prove U.S. Consumers Are Willing to Embrace Direct Brand Interaction
CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- July 10, 2006 --
Mobile campaigns establish industry landmark for consumer interaction:
43 percent of messages originated by consumers themselves
Nearly half of the first 100 million text and picture messages processed by Vibes Media -- a leading provider of interactive text message and mobile content marketing programs -- were originated by consumers themselves, the company announced today. The numbers, based on the milestone 100 million messages achieved over more than 7,000 Vibes Media mobile campaigns, creates a new benchmark for measuring marketing effectiveness and direct brand-to-consumer interaction.
Vibes, which was founded in 1998, processed its 100 millionth message in June of this year. Vibes' programs have drawn more than 10 million participants, for an average of 10 messages per interaction.
"While many of our competitors build up their numbers by aggregating other mobile suppliers' messages or sending out mobile alerts, we hit the 100 million mark by creating true, one-to-one interactive dialogue between brands and their target consumers," said Alex Campbell, CEO and co-founder of Vibes Media. "The mobile device is a great way to interact with someone, but it only works if that person wants to interact. We've had programs generate more than 93 messages per-person and have engaged consumers for over 44 hours at a time. This is especially noteworthy today when marketers are having trouble getting consumers to pay attention to a 30-second TV spot!"
Unlike many mobile marketers, the bulk of messages generated by Vibes Media's campaigns are initiated by the consumer. Whereas many campaigns initiate first contact, Vibes' programs utilize an outside prompt -- delivered via radio, television, outdoor, product packaging or other media -- to spark consumer action. This approach, based on industry best practices, eliminates mobile spam and is more effective at eliciting consumer response. Of the 100 million messages that have passed through Vibes' systems, more than 43 million were originated by customers themselves, demonstrating the powerful interaction Vibes' programs generate for its clients.
"These industry milestones demonstrate not only that mobile marketing has truly hit the main stage, but also that consumers are ready and willing to actively participate in mobile campaigns if they are executed properly using industry best practices," said Jack Philbin, president and co-founder of Vibes Media. "Having 43 percent of 100 million messages come directly from consumers themselves is unheard of in the industry. The true one-to-one relationships our campaigns establish with consumers deliver more value than other advertising or marketing mediums available."
Vibes Media specializes in creating and executing mobile campaigns designed to engage customers and increase revenue. Vibes works with global brands in the wireless, entertainment and consumer packaged goods industries to deliver high-impact text and premium content-based campaigns that establish ongoing interactions.
The company has already launched major mobile campaigns for CBS Radio and Emmis Communications this summer. In addition, Vibes Media played a vital role in the development of Verizon Wireless' Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest interactive multimedia experience, developing the "Create Your Own Adventure" text-message game portion of the massive campaign. The program allows customers to create individual adventures relating to story lines from the movie. They can negotiate thousands of fun-filled pathways, interact with characters from the movie, play mini-games, fight battles and win assorted prizes ranging from Pirates wallpaper to a paid trip to a future Pirates movie premier.
About Vibes Media
Vibes Media, of Chicago, has been creating mobile marketing programs since 1998. The company has developed proprietary interactive software and promotional programs that enable marketers to communicate with, motivate and retain their customers in ways they never could before. Vibes is uniquely positioned in the industry to provide marketing and promotional programs including end-to-end services, strategy development, communications, execution and post-program ROI analysis. Vibes can offer off-the-shelf programs or work with marketers to create a custom program designed for a particular business or marketing situation. The company has launched more than 7,000 text messaging programs and generated more than 100 million messages in the United States, partnering with wireless carriers, entertainment enterprises, musical acts, sports teams and leagues, and a wide variety of consumer brands. with a link to his site.
Terrific, well articulated response. Thanks for the slap! You have knocked me out of my "venting mode". My mistake was I should have replied as a new post. My intent was not to single you out, but to criticize the pointing of fingers, and constant calls to management when the stock price drops. They don't control the price of the stock, nor can they comment on it.They just laid out their business plan at the ASM. We just received numerous detailed accounts of the meeting by very generous fellow shareholders. I couldn't agree more with you about questioning authority, however asking management why the stock price is dropping is unproductive IMO. I am certain they are not thrilled with it either, but I hope it emboldens them to work harder.
The scope of work needed to get this fledgling company off the ground is mind boggling to me. If you were working 16-20hr days in the trenches at NEOM would you respond every time a frightened or disgruntled shareholder called about the decline in the stock price? If you would, I'd be selling my stock in a hurry.
JMHO and I respect yours as well.
Hello is there anybody in there? What is it you would like management to do? Do you need your hand held? A hug? A tissue to wipe the tears? Perhaps you want them to reveal the intricate details of the negotiations with perspective clients, existing partners, cellphone manufacturers, service providers, advertising conglomerates etc...? In this stage of their business plan the last thing I would want to see are shareholders relations people. A total waste of time, money, and human resources. It is my understanding they are working their tails off trying to turn the business plan into reality.
There is no question management has a lot more to lose financialy, then any of us on this board. This company will make or break the lives of many in it's employ. They have made huge strides forward, and I don't see other companies moving ahead of them in this race to be the Physical World Connector and possibly the Mobile Marketing Leader.
Here is a question for all those pointing fingers. When are you going to take RESPONSIBILITY for your actions and investment decisions? No one held a gun to your head. No other poster, financial advisor, friend, aquaintance, forced you to buy this stock. Maybe your just like society in general, blame the other guy. Blame Pres.Bush, blame the rich, blame the minorities, blame the whites, blame one of your high school teachers, blame the placement of the stars, or blame some made up disease, ADD,XYZ, or some other ossis.
Why don't we all do something constructive like spreading the word about the company. Tell your friends, family, aquaintances, business associates. Send emails about NEOM with links to articles and promotions they are involved in. Please do something besides crying. JMHO
Congradulations! when is the due date?
Always enjoy reading most of the posts on this board. Their value or substance are always limited to the readers perspective.I appreciate the DD, and personal opinions of others, they will either challenge or reinforce my views and knowledge. Always look forward to your posts, thanks
Since we don't have much of a "crowd" owning this stock, at this price, if what you say is true as a general rule, then I think its a great time to be buying NEOM.

I would venture to say, that has been and is the "norm" in society, and is encouraged by the powers that be, whether religious, political, or social. How else can they control or manipulate?
