Let's see if the momentum keeps up. I think CLBE came up on some investors radar screens yesterday because of the volume. Once people start researching the company, they will see how undervalued we are.
That's the way it works with a penny stock that does not get much volume and has a small amount of outstanding shares. Any type of action can cause a reaction that can grow exponentially... although, I think there is more to it than just you causing this.
Hasn't traded over 1m shares since Oct. 25th... before that was Sept. 6th. Think we might reach that today.
A good amount of selling recently b/c of the lack of news/tax reasons. The fact that CLBE has not had high volume leaves a huge amount of room for the share price to increase... there have not been that many buys comparatively in the last few weeks. The MMs will walk it up on this basis alone... they were walking it down to accumulate whatever small amount of shares they could shake from the weak hands.
The risk/reward for CLBE is phenomenal. I think there is a good amount of investors that are still not aware of CLBE, but will "discover" them in early 2007 at which point a nickel will be history IMO.
This is a steal right now... looking to get more. Obviously, the downward trend is due to lack of news and for year end tax reasons... in the meantime, the company is still achieving their goals. This creates an excellent buying opportunity.
Look for a national marketing campaign in the beginning of 2007. This will create a lot of press coverage as well as interest and new accounts IMO. GLTA
I don't think CLBE follows any "pattern"
I think that once LifeStem advances, they will draw the attention of some of the big biotech companies who will want a piece of the action IMHO.
Good Post D1, I'm right there with you... people will be kicking themselves when they could have bought this for a nickel a share. I am maxed out, but would still like to buy much more at this level.
usmc, the website is http://www.life-stem.com/.
All the info is there. As far as attracting customers, they are starting a national marketing campaign for LifeStem within the next 90 days. GLTY
Once they open up a good amount of microbanks, start marketing and establish accounts, CLBE will be golden. They have established their foundation and they will be executing the above in the very near future.
If other companies try to compete, they will be way ahead of them and have a huge advantage. In my opinion, there will be a lot of big companies who will either want a stake in LifeStem or want to buy them out directly.
I think everyone recognizes this, but the word just has to get out about the company.

10Q looks good! They are reducing their debt/liabilties at a good rate, number of outstanding shares is at 97m which is unheard of, and they have a strong forecast (and not just from LifeStem).
Revenues are pretty much what I expected. They only had 45 days to generate funds from LifeStem and that was with hardly any public awareness.
Their forecast is very interesting... they say they are "conservatively" projecting $3.9m the first year and $26.2m the second year. Gotta like the part about 4000 medspas opening in the next four years and the national marketing campaign that's going to be starting very soon.
Management is executing the plan very well. It looks to me as if things are falling into place and we should benefit very soon... it's just a matter of when. It's the right time, the right business (LifeStem) and the right sector. GLTA.
MM's going to take this down on low volume... they will try and shake a few shares from the weak hands. This could be the dip before the run IMO.
The national marketing campaign that is going to happen in the next 90 days will be huge.
The 10Q should be out on Wednesday, 11/15.
That's fine... hopefully, you fixed my spelling errors!
Can you say Ca-Ching!
The following is from the Van Tassel interview:
Expect to have 4000 distribution points by LifeStem's 2nd year.
In the next 90 days, there will be a national distribution chain.
In the next 90 days, there wil be a national marketing campaign.
In my opinion, the last one is HUGE... this will give LifeStem the recognition it needs to attract customers as well as investors. This is the only thing I had a negative opinion about with the company in the past, and now they are addressing it.
I think there are a lot of people in the general population who are unaware of CLBE and will think this is greatidea and opne of the best investments a person can make. As I said before, I don't expect earnings to start getting better until the 12/30 10Q, but if they execute the above correctly, it won't matter. We'll be on aour way to $$$$ soon in my opinion. GLTA
Impatient? What is your definition of long-term? Is it 3 months? In time, I believe they will produce a hefty profit and be a very valuable stock to have in your portfolio. But, you have to give them time to execute their game plan. The share price will rise as they start to meet their accomplishments. GLTA
Cashwealth has an agenda. He is adding to his position one day and then saying the company will never make money the next. He's just trying to pick up some cheap shares... he's not very subtle.
Stemclock, the quarter ends on 9/30... correct me if I am wrong, but LifeStem wasn't open for business until 8/15.
That gives them 1.5 months to apply to this quarter's earnings... if you go by the 3.9m revenue figure, it should account for about $475,000 for the quarter.
Also, I am assuming the projection of $3.9M is probably based upon multiple microbanks. I'm not sure how many were up and running at 9/30, so $475,000 could be a somewhat high forecast.
There will be many microbanks open by this time next year when I expect revenue to be dramatically higher, but for this quarter, I am not getting my hopes up... based on the volume, I don't think to many investors are either. GLTA.
d1, I'm with you... I don't expect too much from the financials, but I am holding until this hits the $$. Like you said, the risk to reward here is amazing.
Management is holding the key to the treasure chest. And in my opinion, they are doing a great job. I believe they have a master plan and are executing it very well, taking things step by step. It's just a matter of time.
There is not a doubt in my mind that this stock would go crazy... the only question is if people are aware this stock exists. It's just a matter of time before people start "discovering" CLBE. If a few investors start buying CLBE, other investors will notice it based on the volume.
It won't take much for it to run, but I will be holding for much more than ten cents.
Some good info on Dr. Jason Tassel (LifeStem's Chief Medical Officer):
http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Tassel_Van_766653032.aspx
CLBE is setting up for the Perfect Storm... I don't know when, but it's coming. GLTA
I'm amazed as well... the only good thing is that this has stayed low enough for me/us to accumulate.
I also think that CLBE is one of the best potential buyout companies I have owned. As LifeStem clients start adding up, it will get the attention of many other investors/companies.
Good article on LifeStem...
I didn't think the PR about the "Orange County Innovation Award" was that great, but this article puts it into a better perspective:
http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/news/local/communities/irvine/article_1323036.php
Some of the press.. there is much more on the subject of the medspa and LifeStem if you do a search:
http://www.usfranchisenews.com/News/Franchise_Information/The_Nations_First_Medical_Spa_to_Harvest_A...
LifeStem also has a website at http://www.life-stem.com/ where you an inquire as to the location of their microbanks.
As far as LifeStem not being mentioned on the CA Medspa's websites, it just may have simply not been added yet. I anticipate that it will be added soon and there will be much more press about their business as they open more and more banks.
backaway, that is all we can do right now is speculate in regards to the microbanks.. I'm hoping they had some type of basis for their forecast.
As far as revenue, they have other subsidiaries besides the microbanks. They also stated in their 8/15 pr that they ANTICIPATE "revenues will increase throughout the balance of 2006, not only due to launching LifeStem's Stem Cell Microbank(TM) Collection Service, but also due to two subsidiaries, Molecula, Inc. and KD Medical, Inc., having combined operations to be more efficient and having moved into a new facility that should increase quality and improve manufacturing capabilities".
Like you said, their results will tell the story. All of the above is purely speculation, but I believe stem cell research, therapeutics and applications growing(in demand and $$) in the coming years is not even worth debating... it is still in its infancy stages. GLTY
Gateway, I totally disagree... according to their last PR, they are anticipating 1000 clients during the first year with $3.9 million revenue. While this may be somewhat "small" to you, I believe this would represent very strong first year results. I am actually surprised and pleased that they could possibly produce these kind results in the first year.
As stem cell research grows, their revenues will grow exponentially. The market for stem cell technology is currently $500 million a year and expected to grow to $30 billion a year by 2010.
As far as a major player, I think that by them having such a unique business and stem cell applications growing every year makes them a very attractive company to buy out.
To many positives for CLBE right now... it is just a matter of time before it pops. GLTY.
Could be... I hope your right. If you are, there should be a gap up tomorrow.
Just saw the 1m share sell... when the volume is this low and someone puts in a trade like that, it is going to push the price lower. I'd like to see more volume... I think the next few press releases will do that for us.
History repeating? It did this same trading pattern before the last run.
Couldn't agree more with everyone's comments today. Picked up more shares this morning... I am maxed out now. This is a hidden gem that, as volume grows, will explode. Tons of upside potential as a company and an investment. GLTA
I agree, I prefer this much more than fluff press releases and I am well aware of SEC regulations regarding the material content. And I also believe that word-of-mouth is the best press you can get.
That being said, what I meant by my post is that CLBE should be in many articles, news stories, etc. because it is such a unique, one of a kind service right now. But, who really knows about it? And who, after reading or seeing something on it, wouldn't think it was a great idea?
There should be a PR department spreading the news so that it would reach a different public that is not on stock message boards or the internet. That, in turn would get new investors attention and increase our share volume and price. Just my thoughts.
This company is not the best at promoting itself... at first glance, this is a mediocre PR. But, I think having 1000 clients in the first year is pretty dam impressive, especially taking into consideration that they are going to be opening new microbanks around the country. The amount of revenue from this venue plus the other subsidiaries has enormous potential.
Don't get me wrong, the penny stocks that make outrageous claims are much scarier. It's fine they are reporting events the way they are, but these headlines are not going to grab the attention of the normal investor and volume will be slow unless they start promoting themselves a little better.
Like I said, I really don't mind because it just gives me more opportunity to keep accumulating before the huge increase in pps. CLBE is a no-brainer.
Great article!! Just a matter of time.
I'm still here doing the same... I keep on slowly accumulating. Not much to say until we see some type of status/news.

Not sure if this was posted, but it is on the front page of Yahoo! right now:

OT: CLBE has only STEM CELL bank in the country (just opened Aug. 15th) with plans to open more throughout the US... only 95M outstanding shares, and moving up this AM. Just thought you guys might want to check it out.
Lookout! Volume and run brewing! Lots of Buys coming in.
Very low volume and mostly sells and still moving up (20%!)... I think the MMs are positioning for an upward trend... it won't take much volume to push this higher.
Good press release... interesting report. It's amazing that they are the only stem cell microbank in the country (with plans to open more) and they are trading at less than 5 cents (and taking into consideration CLBE's float!). It's just a matter of word getting out and CLBE will have its day... until then, I'll keep accumulating.
