up 100% guys, thanks to me.
When this hits $20 pps, I hate to say it, but I'm going to say "I told you so".
I was wrong about today, I thought we'd see high $0.30's close. Congrats all you who didn't sell, green over a long weekend will get a lot of those people who don't know how to read financials thinking that they were fantastic. Not saying that they were or weren't, but green is a good sign when you need to interpret something like that.
I'm still waiting for a lower re-entry, but I'm not so sure I'll get it anymore.
sorry, I had to scale down to 2 million shares.
I only got in cause I know with the recent gold market there were probably countless requests for this service in the past few months. They might even be waiting to announce something earth-shattering soon. Who knows.
you guys, if this thing hits one penny...man!!! hAhAhAhha, not joking too sincerely, I'm a new holder of several million shares.
HOLDING LONG BABY HAHAHAHAHAhAHHAHAHhAHah!!!
hahahHAhaha i don't know why it's so funny that I just put in an order for 4 freakin million shares. hAhHAAha
i'm not impressed by intraday emotional swings. I'd like to get back into NDOL, but I know how it works and won't budge my buy order at $0.40 one bit.
what is your entry? My "buy-more" is at $0.165.
i hate to say it, but after selling my NDOL I've seen my first green day on my Scottrade in 2 weeks.
This was taking into account the part of NWOG that wasn't merged. I was a bit hasty in that, sorry. I think that inclusion was shoddy on their part. I think we go some oil divisions from them that were under producing, or maybe just extra equipment with a little bit more of their oil.
Either way, I think that it's ripe for transitioning from speculative to investment status. I highly, highly doubt we'll see even $1.50 again, but as a legitimate enterprise on a higher exchange I can see $1 range.
I just don't want to participate in the transition.
And no, I don't think that most of these people can interpret financial statements. Most people are on edge because they've already lost so much money. I have made 600% on NDOL and I'm perfectly content following my strategy that I have been by selling on unjustified emotion and buying back lower.
I'm out of posts for today, so that's it for now.
Oh yeah, another reason why I'll buy back in lower is because of the "free-trading" shares.
This number is more important than most of you realize, in that it strongly shows that they don't really care if we have a part of their oil or not. Gerald Parkin cares about the PPS because that's how he was paid.
It shows that they want us to have very little of the company and that the more they own, the better.
Not until my funds settle. By then, we may see $0.20's, or we may see a lot more than what we see now. I'd rather get in lower than this and make a 5-fer.
Let me reiterate that I didn't sell because I doubt this company, just because I know most people can't interpret financial statements.
no, i call you an idiot for making a poor statement while surrounded by people who can't read financials. It's like shouting FIRE! in a room full of blind people.
I don't doubt this company at all, I just know that it's shareholders aren't the sharpest when it comes to financials. I'm hoping for a lower re-entry from $0.55.
you don't think that with Nord's oil they can up their sales from $30 million to $50 million per quarter? $200,000,000 in sales per year makes me happy. I'm just waiting to see where this goes before I get back in.
I'm out for now too.
I think the financials are great, I just don't think people realize yet that this is a quaterly report and not an annual one hahahahhaa.
Once they do, I'm back in.
IN OIL YOU IDIOT!!!
The "free-trading shares" definitely confirms everything being said about how reverse mergers work
There are so very few of these shares. It shows that NWOG and NDOL want us to own as little of their company as possible while still having significant volume!!!1
nord news out
hHAhaha did they wait to put this stuff out so that they could re-acquire all the float they could?
FREAKIN AWESOME
I just bargain shopped a small bit. I put the buy limit at 0.25 to take one for the team, but it didn't work.
Right, but it's not going to help as you say it will. It's like offering a guy $290 for his $300 camera. Just as bad for the price as if you sold your $300 camera for $290.
Since it is fluctuating so wildly on no news, this is what most buyers are doing. It may appear to be the best avenue, but if everybody who did it actually bought on the ASK, all of them would have a lot more money.
which is why NWOG bought half a dozen other companies within the past 2 years. It doesn't make sense why you would say this.
Don't forget they reported the offer with the SEC.
by dropping it. If you aren't paying the ASK, it is the same as selling.
I could care when they come out with the 8k, or anything for that matter.
I read a quote once that went something like this,
"If, as a shareholder, you own an oil company, and it really is worth what they say it is-- you don't want to see your company promoting it every 2 seconds"
Basically, because if they were, they would need to.
have you not done any other DD???!!!
All the figures in the latest filing reflect NDOL's current operations with their transportation and storage business. Even then you can see they used millions and millions that they made from that to pay off debt.
This isn't even considering the oil that either Nord, or NWOG have and are about to start producing in June. Wow... read up a bit more before you post things like that.
No offense, but I feel as if you haven't ever read a 10k before. That statement is on every single last one of these things.
It is a good thing.
The filing is excellent, but doesn't incorporate the added value from NWOG and isn't the 8k we've been waiting for-- maybe later this week???
Goodwill is generally money paid as an incentive for something else. I think HP had somewhere in the billions for their goodwill. It may be payment for something that they couldn't record as a payment for it under the reverse merger agreement. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it for a second considering it's consistent with last year and the only thing on the entire financials that's not exceptional.
This is my last post for today, and be sure to read this CNN article:
http://money.cnn.com/2006/05/18/news/international/bc.energy.russia.reut/index.htm
I also looks like, using a reasonable P/E, our PPS is about what it should be on NDOL's business alone---BEFORE it's merger and BEFORE we even took an ounce of oil out of the ground. FANTASTIC!!!
It's amazing that they managed to improve all these figures before they even started their scheduled oil production. Completely unexpected.
It shows that their storage and transportation sector really is productive.
I can't wait to see what comments Parkin may have to go along with the PR that will accompany this.
It looks like pretty much across the board each category has gone in the right direction.
We see increase in receivables, decrease in payables, decrease in employee dues, increase in SH equity, income from sales up 600% although operating expenses increased as well.
Not much cash, which clearly shows why we're seeking financing to up production.
This isn't the merger filing with NWOG financials though, we'll have to wait for that still.
It doesn't tell us anything big. It shows that our stockholder equity doubled since last year, and our retained earnings are doing well. This isn't the form we've been waiting for, this is the quarterly report.
Looks good to me.
If gold continues to get beat up, and it settles a lot lower, I think that will be good for us.
When gold goes up and it is already high, people are nervous about it's stability. When it goes down when it is already high, everybody thinks it's about to crash.
If we stayed at around $500/oz, we would have a healthy price for our gold, and people would see more room to grow. Just a thought.
Both Alexander and Vladimir (I'm guessing this is the guy's middle name) are EXTREMELY common names in Russia. Now, to hit on all three might be a bit of a stretch.
Good DD, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their wells are offshore.
I would edit this post, it makes it look like you are saying to stay away from NDOL.
OT
Not nearly that many... I like AURC, but I stopped putting more than 20% into any one company a few years back.
I have a lot in GTRC, CCL, RCL and other companies that are capitalizing off of age-related trends.
I also plan on buying a lot of new stocks once hurricane-scares start.
: ) I became a budding millionaire when I was 20 from investing my $1,600 extra student loan money in companies like AURC :)
A lot of us aren't that concerned about any given day's pps. I trust Parkin, but I don't think he's reliable at all. I think he has a lot less control than people think he does over the companies' timelines.
Don't forget how reverse-shell mergers work-- He's not necessarily involved with the companies core operations, only their public representative.
NDOL doing business with NWOG and India Oil absolutely, beyond reasonable doubt, proved to me that the operations are legit. Once you know that, that's all you need to know.
IHDR,
I agree with you. I didn't even start using message boards until about two months ago. I expected to run into more people like you-- less biased, even when they held stock in the company being discussed.
A lot of the stuff I've been posting has been getting deleted, and it's not even critical stuff, so this may disappear shortly.
I think this company has an outstanding future, even near future, but a lot of people won't give pinkies a second look unless they see the criticism also.
do you guys realize that you hurt the pps when you buy on the ASK?
I'm not saying you're doing this, but just in case.
I can promise you the sell off right now is due to gold prices correcting.
Every other time they have, I have sold my AURC to buy back lower later in the day. It's as consistent as clockwork... I can also promise you that no more than 15% of AURC holders even read these boards, and no more than 70% of them even know who Parkin is.
It's a gold play to a lot of people, so they trade it as such. Nothing more.
he's not a liar, just not good at estimating times. He's dependent on Russians to get things done, and I can tell you from working with one that they have no concept of urgency.
If you're going to buy, buy on the ASK. There's no point in complaining about the pps if you're only encouraging it by buying on the BID.
Not saying you did this, but just in case anybody else is planning on buying more.
A lot of flippers over react to gold price corrections. It still doesn't make sense to me since the PPS is way below it should be, even if gold were $350/oz...
Not terribly concerned.
BTW-- somebody look up Bobs23's previous posts... he "bashes" a heck of a lot, and is one of the smarter ones too.
But this will probably get deleted for whatever reason, probably because it's more off topic than the other posts here...
The price is a bit high right now, don't get me wrong-- I have a significant holding originating from above the current pps, but mid-to-high $2's are at a P/E following industry standard. That is, if they make their target. What could bring this at a higher base is the potential though-- it's like buying into Wal-Mart in 1986.
They aren't getting into GPS at the ground level, but there is a heck of a lot of room to grow with this.
It's funny how the promotion is the first thing to cause a dip for this company. Without it, it probably would have steadily kept climbing.
