seems like everyone knows that the procedure works, just need to re-validate thatno gel/dose migrates from the treatment area. already proven, but one more set of data won't hurt anything with more precise imagery.
sounds like testing is already complete, just dotting Is and crossing Ts for application. "The FDA accepted the Risk Management Report. This analysis concluded that under the worst-case scenario of a missed injection, the dose to any significant organ was less than 1.4 Gy, which is insignificant. We also summarized the specific reasons that RadioGel™ is inherently safe. If the FDA accepts the draft meeting minutes, these safety conclusions will be in the permanent record and included in our application for the IDE for clinical testing."
of course I think it was the Tweet that was also recently deleted
in a recent tweet, the doctor did mention that information is changing in real-time and that news would be released appropriately. myabe they are dotting some i and crossing some t today.
i hub, no post for over 24 hours with big anticipatory word salad coming up.
oh nevermind
is broken?
I personally don't care for the flavor of Twitter posts, but I do like that our CEO has passion for our company and product. I don't think he is the one actually posting, but an approved designee.
coiled up !!!!!!
SC8, what is so "Outrageous. The tweets are fact based. there are no claims to have already been granted FDA approval. fact, people do value humans more than animals. fact, animals, generally speaking, are the first path to gain human trials for most FDA " plays". another fact, .06 cents is too low for a cancer treatment that works, without surgery. just the IP alone is worth current market cap.
it is definitely a collaboration. it says so in the article.
Wallnut, I have never seen a biotech breakdown of what "our" gel is made of, but I also believe that they could be an amino chain that. I will do more research and see if I can disprove my own theory. But for now, it seems as though there are some extra dots to connect.
The ELPs exist in a liquid state at room temperature but form a stable gel-like substance within the warmer human body. When injected into a tumor along with a radioactive element, the ELPs form a small depot encasing radioactive atoms. In this case, the researchers decided to use iodine-131, a radioactive isotope of iodine, because doctors have used it widely in medical treatments for decades and its biological effects are well understood.
The ELP depot encases the iodine-131 and prevents it from leaking out into the body. The iodine-131 emits beta radiation, which penetrates the biogel and deposits almost all its energy into the tumor without reaching the surrounding tissue. Over time, the ELP depot degrades into its constituent amino acids and is absorbed by the body—but not before the iodine-131 has decayed into a harmless form of xenon.
"The beta radiation also improves the stability of the ELP biogel," Schaal said. "That helps the depot last longer and only break down after the radiation is spent."
In the new paper, Schaal and his [i]collaborators[/i]
notice the last word from the clip.
the article clearly stated that the gel solidified at body temperature, and no license agreement means no mention in public.
wallnut, how can you be so sure that the Duke study is not a collaboration. seems like a recent tweet emphasized "collaboration. collaboration"
I think that the Duke study could be a collaboration
Vx2 tumors are fast growing. radiogel is fast acting and precise... this rabbit test will definitely be a great indication of what we really have.
yes, one tumor, one rabbit, one test. FDA has previous data from multiple treatments. they just need the final element that validates "non-migration".
both spellings are acceptable.
Bently, I think your timeline is a bit off, but not by much. we share the same strategy. I just gave my wife a brief recap of how close we are and saying the words outloud is very validating for me
wallnut, I simply mean that the doctor will likely,. underpromise 2. overdeliver on timelines and milestones.
remember, the doctor is a self proclaimed "conservative".
only 8 more trading days...get 'em while they're hot
only 8 more trading days...
collaboration? x2, to me this is a subtle hint that Vivos will offer shares in exchange for services. it happens all the time.
SC8. With Dr. Fisher as the technical expert and presenter, I have no doubt he will be able to express the impact of product improvements
I just thought it was strange that they have specifically shared the Ryan Reynolds story on Twitter. the one about him donating money to help a 4yr old girl with inoperable brain tumor. the propsed treatment takes months, and the girl may not even live that long.
does anyone think that Vivos rep has been doing business overseas? like some kind of "right to try" overseas? I am just trying to connect some dots.
not sure how Fisher would be involved as he was one of the original inventors. Curious that his current office is within a few minutes of PNNL and Dr K's office, and Vista Vet
david Swanberg is also a former Isoray VP.
it's because both products, Isoray and Radiogel , have a very interconnected past regarding personnel.
well, the linked in page claims two employees. maybe one-of-two is in charge of tweets. I will SMH with you if that is not the case.
thank you for adding that link to FDA guideline. I found pg.6 to be very encouraging.
I think the VX2 rabbit model hasbeen used to model cancers of the head and neck (5), kidney (6), brain (7), lung (8), urinary bladder (9), uterus (10), liver (11, 12), bone (13), and pancreas (14).
cadeell, is "no spring chicken" either. I do believe the ultimate goal is buyout.
we already know that our CEO is past retirement age,. he is the final leg of the race. once we get a green light of any kind from the FDA, we should entertain any/all buyout scenarios. I don't think the Dr. is mentoring his successor, there is no successor?
cc is also a reference to cubic capacity, which can be the same as a "pea size". I think the Doc has made a habit of being very conservative in his communications. I think we are a month away from great news.
all I have seen is that it is competitive with proton therapy. not sure how much that is?
The only parallel I was trying to convey was that vista started with a single treatment day per month, so that the cost of production and facility could be maximized, which helps bring the cost down. I didn't mean to imply the vista started as a mobile vet.
could be that the mobile service is just a monthly trip to different regions to lessen the burden for owners of larger pets. having one treatment day per month helps to reduce the cost for everyone. this is how vista started out.
