I'm still here. Wish I had more money to add these cheapies to my collection.
Alamo,
If you haven't already received this question for Steve on Thursday, ask him to let us know how much revenue the 1World cards are bringing in.
Revenue from all other parts of the company would be welcome also.
Does he still expect $10M revenue in 2010? More, less, how much more or less.
Thanks.
Thanks Alamo - GREAT NEWS!!!
This is NOT what we need !!!
In light of this announcement, I recommend we begin to spread the word to fellow investors of the events about to take place!
It will just attract traders who will take their 10 to whatever percent profit they can get, and who will dump ASAP dropping the PPS right back down.
There are already dozens, if not hundreds of these traders keeping a close watch on this and will jumping in now.
Wouldn't surprise me to see .002 today.
If you are able to go in big, maybe you should offer private financing to SP.
Certainly I will get a feel for whether I go in big or not
Or the fear of dilution.
The dilution has to be what's killing us right now. There's no other explanation.
On or before Aug 15 is when audited financials were promised to be finished and made public.
photo, thanks for explaining. much appreciated.
just curious - how do you distinguish MMs from retail? I'd love to know how to do that.
I'm not concerned about the day to day pps.
I've bought my millions of lottery tickets here. Someday this will take off and I won't need to try to catch Captain's speeding boat.
Right now you can get 500 of these lottery tickets for the price of 1 MegaMillions or PowerBall ticket.
Today's action thus far isn't much more than those that bought in the past couple of days in anticipation of a Thursday PR jumping back out. IMO, of course.
have no clue.
back to the day job until 1world gets to .40
best of luck
AUTO bid at .0001
AUTO ask at $2.00
I read on another board a few weeks ago that some large investment groups who want to gobble up as many shares as possible before a stock is ready to make the big time, try to discourage the retail investors so they sell out to the large investment group. Not sure that is the case here, but that keeps running through the back of my mind.
Goodnight - better days ahead. Actually this was a good day, PR wise, just not PPS wise.
I agree - I want to see the official SEC filings.
I thought approval was needed to increase the authorized shares also, but per other posts on this board, it sounds like pink sheet companies may not need to.
Or maybe, the official paperwork hasn't been filed yet.
Aren't shareholders that own 10% or more of the OS supposed to file forms with the SEC?
If any one of the new financiers have more than 250M shares they would need to file the SEC forms.
ryall,
It sounds like you think the new 500M shares are being sold into the market already.
As per Alamo's post #26914, he says the shares not allowed to be sold for 6 months.
Another point - today's PR said audited financials would be finished in 3 months which is way before the new shares can be sold.
it could also just be that pps must be within a certain range of the form-t trade values. if they are at .002-.0022 then we may not be allowed to close more than say 10% above.
if so i question why prior is putting out prs now instead of waiting for the shares to finish trading
hands.
Two reasons
(IMO)
There are a boatload of traders, flippers, and even longs flipping a portion of their position or trying to increase their position. All these folks willing to take a few percent profit.
Fear of dilution yet, although I thought with that information now known, the pps would begin to move up a little because the financing is relatively good compared to what it could have been.
Do you think the share price should be higher than it is? And if so, what is your explanation for lack of movement?
Wouldn't accretive be opening new stores and auditing financials, etc? - As per the latest PR?
Isn't that adding value to the company and ultimately to the shareholders?
To my knowledge I haven't heard atleast what the accretive part is, have you?
WOW !!! Very Nice!
My bad. Thanks for catching that.
Correction:
2B shares times .01 is $20M
2.5B shares times .008 is $20M.
if we thought the valuation of the company should be .01 with 2B shares ($2,000,000), then the equivalent valuation for 2.5B shares is .008.
the pps is way low, IMO
2B shares times .01 is $2M
2.5B shares times .008 is $2M.
tiso_us, that is my opinion - fear of dilution is driving this down now.
Most penny stocks aren't much more than dilution machines, with the owners pocketing most of the derived money for their own pleasures, causing the traders to lose because the money is not used to grow the company.
It is possible OWVI will need to issue more shares, but the proceeds will be put to good use, to grow the company and add value. The pps has been falling recently, but the long term outlook still looks very good.
I also think the use of the term Market Makers doing this or that is nothing more than quick profit traders, flippers, etc using the term to hide behind. The traders are selling like crazy and say it is the market makers causing it. The market makers are making the trades for all of the traders. The market makers may control the stock a little sometimes, but I think most of the action is due to traders buying and selling.
My opinion - the only reason the pps is at this level is because of the unknown terms of how the company will raise the money it needs to grow.
Stock prices are forward looking. Right now this stock has forward looking fear of the pps going lower due to the possibility of more shares being issued.
Traders are always looking for a stock that will make them rich and OWVI has a good possibility of doing that.
Therefore I believe many, many eyes are watching and will be buying as many shares as they can, as soon as SP negotiates the needed financing, unless lots more shares need to be issued, in which case I expect this to drop a little more before heading back up to the .003's and continuing up from there.
Two comments:
1. The higher we can move the share price now, the less new shares will be needed to raise the same amount of funds.
2. If we think the correct value of the pps should be .01 with the current 2B OS, then even if the OS doubles to 4B, the pps should be .005, far above where we are now.
Seems like some folks are still trying to lighten up or get out.
But other folks keep buying up the shares. Wish I had more money.
Still long and holding for the big pps.
edit: removed response as the same thing was already said in other posts I hadn't read yet.
back to the day job now.
there may be a few million of those 28 to take out. There were several million bought at 26 and 27 yesterday. I did my part and tried to move them yesterday afternoon, but 1M+ did not phase them.
3x27 on bid
2x28 on ask
If those who got the 26s and 27s aren't trying to flip them at 28, be could close even today at 29
And be sure to thank Prior and congratulate him for getting the cash card up and running.
You might want to tell him he is doing a great job with the business but could be more specific in communications to shareholders.
Don't put too much in the email though as it dilutes the main subject we want an answer to.
brokedaddy, Thanks for taking time to write to Prior.
The main thing Prior needs to address now (IMO) is the moratorium on more shares.
If he wants to wait and see how big profits will be from the current business, before he decides whether more shares are needed, he must tell us that.
He also needs to tell us how long he would take to make that assessment.
And he would need to update us during the assessment period.
sl, your opinions are very much appreciated, both pro and con. Thank you.
I agree 100%.
I'm not a professional by any means, but this is the way I see it (and hear it explained).
The stocks are "traded", so each buyer has a matching seller and vice versa. Sometimes the MM (market maker) can be the buyer or seller instead of regular folks like you and me.
If a trade is at the "bid" price, a lot of folks refer to it as a sell, and if at the ask price, a buy.
Sometimes MMs and even traders try to make it look like there are more sellers than there really are, or more buyers than there really are.
Now to answer your question. Usually more trades at the bid are a sign of weakness, showing traders were not willing to wait for someone to buy their shares at ask, so they just sell at bid to unload them quicker.
You also need to take volume into consideration. If the selling is on relatively light volume it doesn't mean much.
Hope that answers your question.
Best of luck.
Good night.
I think I would find a different broker. My orders get filled in pieces also, but the order has only one commission fee per day.
If I put a "good to cancel" (GTC) order in and it fills part one day, and part another day, a commission is charged each day, $9.99 per order per day for TD Ameritrade.
