We need to keep ourselves entertained while waiting lol
I live in downtown Toronto in a condo. My refrigerator is probably one of the quieter things in my life lol
I'm guessing you have no clue what a wind turbine sounds like.
There has to be more studies on the subject before coming up with a conclusion.
Either way, renewable energy such as hydro, wind, nuclear are much better than fossil fuels which have a proven negative impact on humans.
Its not any louder than your refrigerator.

Wind turbines under trump? lol
Not only are wind farms disgusting looking, but even worse they are bad for people's health http://t.co/2G8YrOUZ (cont) http://t.co/NujHgnXU

Yes I'm very curious to. I think the financial statements are released in about a month so we should found out then.
Not that I know of. Disclosure is required.
If they've already obtained a bridge loan, that is a material change in the company and must be reported. We would know.
I guess we just have to wait and see. Mark always mentioned that he hates dilution so hopefully he does everything in his power to limit it.
And long-term investors deserve good financing news after waiting patiently for this long. We need less talk and more walk.
I hope this is the case as dilution at this level would be devastating to existing investors.
I'm not sure if Mark has a choice. Will the debt financing parties participate in the financing without the commitment of the equity financing? I remember Mark mentioning that it all has to come together at once.
I'm referring to the equity portion of the financing.
I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure the price of the offering is usually at the market price or lower. I've never seen an equity offering that is above the market price.
If you've seen a scenario like this then please provide some information/references.
I was hoping they can get some of the debt financing first to prop up the PPS but its looking less and less likely this is going to happen.
Its a good thing that we will have more dilution with the equity portion of the financing?
I'm pretty sure Buffett is referencing companies that have established revenue and buying them when they're cheap. Its a different ballgame for NioCorp and definitely isn't a good thing when the stock goes down.
Someone is just selling shares. Stop looking so deeply into it.
This is what happens with lack of updates from the company for 4 months. Something needs to break soon.
Selling
This is why we listen to WalterC and not the board's conspiracy theorists.
Welcome!
We are referring to the price of the stock on the TSX.
Agreed, there isn't a quiet period.
A publicly traded company would never divulge financial information privately to individual investors. It must be done through financial statements.
Spoke to soon. Someone just dumped almost 100k shares at 0.59.
Hopefully we get back above 0.60 by the end of the day.
Why do Canadians love this exchange rate?
No, I think there are general areas of support and resistance but doing technical analysis on the daily isn't useful. There just isn't enough daily volume.
https://www.dummies.com/personal-finance/investing/penny-stocks/why-technical-analysis-often-doesnt-work-with-penny-stocks/
Charting will not work for this stock because the volume is so low.
Every week we hear how the chart is bullish, yet we're still sitting at 0.60. Don't think its working out too well.
Only the company knows how much cash they have left and when the PP is required or some other source of financing.
Them running out of cash doesn't mean that the project financing is imminent. I don't think its as close as we think it is and this isn't a bad thing other than waiting.
The more time they spent improving the project economics and hardening any of the unknowns, the more confident the financiers will be.
We all want the best deal possible. I've never had to be so patient with an investment and it does suck watching your money just sit there but I'm really hoping its going to pay off in the end.
I think the market is expecting another PP by the looks of it.
Aren't we due for the Nordmin news anytime now?
"47% of statistics are made up on the spot" <-- I think you missed the joke on that one lol
I wouldn't be surprised if it's Lind.
Google "Lind Partners death spiral"
They've been involved in predatory lending to other companies.
Thanks everyone for the informational posts. Its just a waiting game at this point. I feel safe with my money here.

Lol. If only there was another name for see-through steel.
Trump says most of the wall has already been built.
Mexico is paying for the Wall through the new USMCA Trade Deal. Much of the Wall has already been fully renovated or built. We have done a lot of work. $5.6 Billion Dollars that House has approved is very little in comparison to the benefits of National Security. Quick payback!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 2, 2019
....People do not yet realize how much of the Wall, including really effective renovation, has already been built. If the Democrats do not give us the votes to secure our Country, the Military will build the remaining sections of the Wall. They know how important it is!

If Mark sold shares before financing, that would be a death sentence.
If he sold after a run up to a few dollars, no big deal.
I don't think its a guarantee that the PPS goes up when we get financing. Nothing is guaranteed. It really depends on the terms.
I expect the PPS to be a multiple of what it is right now by the time we get into production.
I was able to get my full bid filled at 0.53.
0.52 better hold.
That's why I don't want to wait to buy. I missed the last few bottoms at this level.
I agree.
0.52 has been a very strong support area over the years. Have mercy on us if that support is broken (like last year).
Would you buy more shares here or do you think we'll drift lower?
I don't want to throw out names and offend anyone.
optimist vs pessimist vs realist.
A good balance between each is a good thing.
