Todays PR is a slap in the face as far as I'm concerned! If you're gonna PR something, at least make it something worthwhile! Now I see why folks turn to the dark side! Complete BS. Tom hasn't got a lick of political skills. If SWVC was a Kingdom, he would have already been overthrown by the people!!
I especially like the comments about Tom's abilities. What changed your mind, chunky?

...it's for a necessary process
Mind telling the rest of us what you think is necessary about screwing loyal common shareholders?
No, I missed his two calls to my office.
AP, have you talked to Tom in the last month or two?
What a choice...
Either he is unscrupulous and wants to benefit himself, family, and friends at the expense of shareholders.
Or,
He's completely inept, and the company is falling apart while he hides in a corner and sucks his thumb.
AP, Soapy...have either of you talked to Tom in the last month or two?
So his 'friends' can get in at rock bottom prices?
Lake Mary's is the Swartz clan home.
Got it...thanks.
...but he's got time to send photos to Soapy?
No, I don't think that's the reason. I have been MORE than civil in my attempts to communicate.
Wow, Soapy...the company sends you photos? Us mere mortals can't even get a phone call returned or an e-mail answered. Hmmmmmm.
So, did you take the photos?
check firemandave's posts.
AP, did you take the photos?
Good for you...my apologies.
Happy birthday klaus! How many beers is that for you?
If we are going down with ship, then some measure of satisfaction will be achieved knowing that the good and faithful captain will be standing by our side.
Run again? You're kidding, right? This stock is the Colorado River of the otcbb world...Lot's of us were whooping it up on it's great run, but in end it dwindled to nothing.
...balance between the pro SWVC posters and the paid bashers.
So all those who have questioned Tom's leadership are 'paid bashers'? And can someone tell me what is inherently wrong about being negative on a stock? Is there any situation where being positive about a stock would be wrong?
Did Tom show up at the Canton store opening?
Are any of us squillionaires yet?
Don't forget...REAL Debt...and lots of it.

Wal-Mart has 1,000 apply for 400 jobs
NEW POTSDAM STORE: Three $5,000 gifts set for community groups

TIMES STAFF WRITER
THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2008
POTSDAM — More than 1,000 people have applied for the 400 available positions at the Route 56 Wal-Mart Supercenter so far, but the big-box retailer wants to create even more of a stir in advance of its Aug. 13 opening.
The corporation will donate a total of $15,000 to three organizations in the lead-up to its grand opening, store manager Chris L. McKinney said.
"It's not going to end there. We'd also like to find out what we can do long term," he said. "We'd like to get involved in any way we can."
The Potsdam Neighborhood Center, the Potsdam Junior Hockey Association and the Potsdam Fire Department will receive $5,000 grants, town Supervisor Marie C. Regan said.
"Wal-Mart is trying to be a good neighbor, and $15,000 will be distributed in the next few weeks," she said.
She and Mayor Reinhold J. Tischler helped Wal-Mart officials choose organizations for its donations.
Mr. McKinney was not able to confirm which groups will receive the funds because the grants are still in the approval process.
"I just want the checks in hand before I make an announcement," the store manager said, adding that Wal-Mart has a volunteerism program that also will look for ways to help in the community.
Wal-Mart is hiring through July 3 at St. Lawrence County's One-Stop Career Center, Canton.
"Well over 1,000 have applied. They're still trickling in," Mr. McKinney said. "We are aware that college students will be coming back and will be looking for jobs, and we'd like to be considered. We will leave some positions available."
The majority of employees will begin work by the end of the month to help prepare the store for its grand opening.
The 188,640-square-foot Supercenter will include a gas station and pharmacy and grocery departments. Wal-Mart broke ground on the project July 31.

Sorry, it's a little over 2 months worth.
If that's the case then at a burn rate of 120M/month Tom only has about 3 months worth of stock to throw around before the A/S has to be increased.

To be fair...he said subside.
...and he said, expected....you know, one of those legal terms CEOs use to stay off the hook.

530,000,000 shares added since the 'infamous' statement made on 1/24/08. That's an avg of 118,000,000/month.

The golden goose (shareholders) is always eaten, and never pampered by penny CEOs.
Yes, hold onto your shares in hopes of a miracle, but there is no defending Seaway management. Tom does not deserve the loyalty and trust that you have steadfastly held to for these last 6-9 months. His behavior towards you, a common shareholder, has been nothing but shameful and there is no indication whatsoever that he plans on changing his methods of operation. He cannot be so silenced by contractual agreements that he could not at least convey some empathy toward our present plight.

The question is...was that ever really the plan?
Bob Gorman, the managing editor, doesn't seem too interested in following the story, but if you howled long and loud enough, maybe something will come of it.
And it's the Watertown Daily Times, not the Herald.
Yo, Tom! We need to talk.
Question is...can the liquidation value of the assets pay the liabilities?
One of these days. Wait till tomorrow. Sometime real soon. Next week we'll rock. Just when we least expect it. After the 8K or the 10Q or the next PR. End of the quarter, end of the year. 2008, 2009, maybe in '10. Cashless buybacks, the next Sam Adams, nellocat, scotchfix, the Golden Cross, reaquired shares, Series E conversions, GSGF the hostage, hedge fund buyer, Canton store sales, the 2700% run due in June, and on and on and on....
