There's always a chance of a buyout to clinch that technology. I'd love that!
Seems logical. Plus, the volume in yesterday's trading was less than half in today's vol. How is the NDA filed, electronically or snail mail?
Wasn't today day 61 or am I poor at math?
November 25 to the 30th = 6 days; 25,26,27,28,29,30 = 6 days
Dec has 31 days = 31 days
Today is the 24th day into January = 24 days
6+31+24 = 61
Perhaps, the FTC probe into Mallinckrodt's price gouging set things back a bit. Pure speculation of course.
Next: Day 61. Do we take a sigh of relief, or still hold our breath?
Looking at the flatline at that time is strange unless there was very, very little trading going on.
Potential partners: MNK up nicely; ENDP is sliding a bit (one of the "top decliners" on CNBC), and TEVA down a little.
Did I miss something? Was there a halt around 10:43AM and 11:14?
"As deaths from powerful painkillers continue to rise, Canada is pursuing unprecedented measures to curb their use, including requiring cigarette-style warning stickers on every prescription, Health Minister Jane Philpott told Reuters....Rewriting label definitions of evidence-supported opioid use would change how drug companies sell opioids in Canada, an $881-million-a-year market.
Doctors are allowed to prescribe “off-label,” tailoring prescriptions to patients’ individual needs. But pharmaceutical companies must follow the labels' language in all marketing, including advertisements and sales calls on physicians."(From the story)

On page 22 of their latest presentation it gives "the strong case for Rexista." What else could be missing?

We'll find out tomorrow, perhaps.
I agree. I'm hopeful, as we all are, that the news is positive on many fronts. We shall all know this week, right?
Who is going to wait and see tomorrow and remain steadfast? What do I mean? I work 8AM to 2PM, and I'm wondering if I should bother to look at any movement (up or down), or just say, "Noodle2 (Ken), you know that you don't plan on selling tomorrow if things look bad, so stick with it no matter what." How about you? Rexista is big and I think it's going to be approved, this week or six months from now, so hold on. But Rexista isn't their only bread winner. This Regabatin XR is big (it's only one dose!) but will take a little time to get that going. And let's not forget their pipeline and those other drugs approved already and those waiting approval. Go IPCI!
"Now that the NDA is filed, the next thirty days will be an intriguing period for IPCI. Have they already inked a deal? Who knows. But, prior history shows that large pharma has been circling the wagon during the early stages of approval, as evidenced by the quick action taken by Mallinckrodt.
At this point, betting against IPCI would be a long-shot wager, with the company demonstrating both the ability to get drugs approved as well as proving their ability to attract partnerships.
On Friday, the bull quit shopping for china and appears set to begin its run toward higher ground. There are too many positive developments at IPCI to believe that the bull run will end any time soon."(From the story)

Is that 60 business days, or just 60 days from November 25th, weekends included? Just curious.
IPCI on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange?

Who knew?
Thanks, Cysonic. Let's go IPCI!
You're correct. He didn't attend it.
No, he did not attend the November event for unknown reasons. It's puzzling to me that that event (i.e. the November ExL Events presentation) was not released by Intellipharmaceutics or is this March presentation.(See link below) You would think that these presentations would be released as a PR by IPCI. We are talking about the CEO of the company.
http://www.cbinet.com/conference/agenda/pc17298
November of last year, Odidi was to speak at the Exl Events along with Mr. Throckmorton but did not for some reason. The link below still pictures Isa Odidi. I thought at the time (after someone discovered that his name was removed from the list on another page) that there might have been a conflict of interest, knowing that their NDA was to be filed soon and that the agenda at this particular event read:
"Avoid Regulatory Penalties and Improve Market Success by Clearly Demonstrating Reduction of the Abuse Potential of New and Existing Drugs"
Well, we should all know in a week or two the FDA's decision, and hopefully Odidi can bring us even better news by March.

And, one of the speakers is...Intellipharmaceutics' own, Isa Odidi.
Sobering thought that there has not been any insider trading recently. Confidence level must be pretty high at Intellipharmaceutics.

What is the manufacturing site that IPCI has used for?

Slow and steady creep upwards is good.
Traders. Someone has to make a buck. Spoilers we can call them. All we can do now is watch and wait. I believe the insiders are confident about Rexista and the outcome. I have not paid attention to their selling shares. Have you? Just waiting for the next halt in trading and news - good or ill.
I bet the large buy to 2.60 is the same person (or holding company) to bring it back down. I don't have real time, so not sure where it is now?
Surely, you didn't type all of that on your phone :)
1)Resistance yesterday - Sprot didn't get what he wanted; hence it should continue. (Note: my wee buy et al. helped buck the trend)
2)Nearing the deadline, and small investors want to risk another buy or two before pending news.
3)Trump inauguration could keep some away from investing on Friday. I doubt that anymore talk from Trump about Big Pharma "getting away with murder," will hit the headlines unless Mallinckrodt's dealings are sent to the new Congress.
4)Next week nervous nellies (okay, I'll be one of them) with no money will watch the game from the sidelines and look for any indicators.
5)Hopefully the riots, murders, chaos etc. will not spill over to next week after the inauguration.
6)...to be continued
Penny for bid :)
"[Mallinckrodt] fined $100M for hiking price 85,000%"

"The Company has identified potential manufacturing partners and
is currently evaluating various manufacturing options for Rexista^® in the
U.S. We look forward to working with the FDA during their review of our NDA
submission.”(From the story)
What kind of dialogue can IPCI have with the FDA during this wait and see period?

Well, we all hope Impactrader is okay. I just went back a number of pages until I saw his name and clicked on it. His last post was Jan 6th.
Will Sprot be denied. Go IPCI!
Let's hope we see Rexista on the list a couple weeks from now.
I added a wee more to my wee portfolio.
At 1:18, IPCI was up and a number of biotechs were down. Hhhmmmmmmmmmm
TSX higher...well sort of :)
