Let's hope they are receiving a reasonable royalty amount. And are able to negotiate a greater amount for any US sales.
OK, so we forgot it came out months ago. What is the major difference between the DigitalWay unit and our unit. Are they going to market their unit in the US and compete with the edig unit?
And I don't remember about the royalty amounts for the HD 100, if we do receive them.
MPIO HD100 ....Ok, so who has confirmed what we get from DigitalWay when they sell a unit.
Hi Gil....I'm mainly watching and laughing at those who think they know so much. I wish I had 1/4 of their knowledge, I would be rich and would teach others about which stocks to buy and which one's to stay away from.
And I would educate others about the SEC reports, since I guess some of them cannot read and understand the information, therefore it must be interpreted for them, at least it appears that way by the amount of the SEC data that is copied and posted on this board.
Good luck to those who still believe, I wish all of them success. To the others, their day of reckoning will come.
OT....Time for other more important things. Hope we close positive, it will eventually come, and the rewards will be great.
CDR.....I think that Gates could buy and sell Buffet a few times over and he doesn't have to spend much time studying his investments.
CDR.....Funny but institutions hold 254 million shares or 64% of Amazon. Gee I wonder if they care about an accumulated loss of more than 3 billion dollars. I wouldn't be surprised in Buffet owned some as well.
CDR....You failed to address the issue. PPS verses losses! You have stated a position about edig and their losses and I am saying your theory doesn't hold water. Look at Amazon and please explain to me the markets acceptance of these excessive losses over the last five years.
Did you not understand my post and the comparison I was trying to make?
It's the market that determines the price and any losses is only a single factor, but not the only criteria, even in today's market.
Is Amazon a greater gamble than edig, must be based on your criteria.
CDR...Just scroll down back to #43307
CDR Message # 43307
CDR...With all of your experience and your recent about face on edig, are you going to answer my earlier message or are you going to say it is irrelevant and edig stands alone when it comes to losses related to the PPS.
CDR....Your comments concerning edig and any other company's PPS related to earnings simply doesn't hold water. I realize it is one of the most important factors in the market determining the price, but it's not the gospel as you would like us to believe.
Even though edig has never shown a profit, the price will be based on the technology and it's future market potential and how that may relate to future earnings. We have seen it happen once and we very well could see it happen again.
In support of my argument I present the following. Now cutting through all the bullshit and difference between the two companies, please explain to me why the market is continuing to support this company with the deficits shown below.
Hey, there as many examples comparable to this as there are companies with positive earnings.

TWOMIL....Some of us do agree that there is potential in this arena. I remember my 7 week stay and a portable unit would have been nice, especially with current movies and other forms of entertainment. One of my outlets was a notebook computer I borrowed from a friend.
It's amazing the naysayers and all of their expertise is probably based on their gut feeling, but not any real and lengthy experience in a hospital.
rr...I consider a 250 bed hospital fairly small, but ample for many small population towns.
Our medical center has 6200 licensed beds and still growing. Also more than 61,000 professional positions and over 5 million patient visits during 2001. An operating budget of 5.5 billion and 7 billion in capital investments as well as 1 billion in additions to facilities.
Our center is world renowned and we had more than 15,000 international patients in 2001.
I'm pretty familiar with the center and what it has to offer, my doctors practice there and I have been going there for more than 25 years.
rr.....And what city is this small hospital located in?
Got to go, too many opinions being offered as fact. I know as much as any of you and none of us know what is really going on.
Speculation abounds, especially after each 10Q, but the real strategies and events are locked up with edig personal, and that's a fact.
chwdr... Of course not, I am addressing those who have all the answers as to what patients needs are.
chwdrhed.....Unless you have been in one of those beds for any length of time, they who claim to know want people would want, have no idea of what they are talking about.
rr.....It's obvious we have a difference of opinion as to how one would pass their time in a hospital bed. Try laying on your back for 6 weeks and watching the same old crap on TV.
And as to camping, maybe you have never been on a 2 or 3 week trip with 4 kids and from dark to midnight or later it would have been great to have a portable device with current movies for the family and kids.
In addition to a camp fire, talking, telling stories, playing cards and games and meeting new friends, a few movies would have been great.
rr....Who said anything about holding one. Don't they have trays in your hospital. You know for kleenex, water, snacks, etc. They are on a stand and are moveable, you even get your meals on these, it's like a table.
And not just for adults, kids on vacation including camping, would set the device on a table and watch a current movie. Kids hold games in their hands for hours, not a big deal to them.
MIR...I don't think it is a moot point. Do you know how many hospital rooms there are? What a market that would be, to have available a rental unit for those who wanted to watch current movies, etc. on the unit.
Try thinking big instead of being so critical. There are dozens of applications for a unit of this type.
Smile, you may yet realize a substantial gain in the remaining shares you have.
rr..I can tell you that many hospitals have TVs in every room, but they don't show current movies, even those that have HBO, etc., don't show current movies.
And you could put the IFE device along side your bed on the moveable tray and watch the movie without holding it.
And hey, I don't work in one, but I have been in a few over the last two years. Also, laying on your side is a nice change from being on your back all the time.
Cass...."What really bothers me is that they repeat questions that they already answered in the business discussions. If something was already covered, the question does not need to be read and answered again - it's a waste of time."
Isn't this exactly what you do on every subject, waste our time with your constant repeating statements.
ff....are those words from the wise or dyslexia
Gil....I'm still here, drop by every now and then.
The CC was very encouraging, they answered several questions which surprised me. A more honest approach and no hype indicates things are being looked at realistically.
It is almost a certain that Q2 will exceed Q1 in revenue and gross margin. I would also expect to see an improvement for Q3 verses Q2 and a strong possibility that we will see a breakeven or maybe a positive EPS for that quarter.
The future is looking better.

I would take his word and critique with a grain of salt. Listening to his comments for many moons, he is as easy to read as the TV anchormen as to their politics. As to subjectivity, the definition has been lost and replaced with his ego.
He is arrogant, pompous and self-important, like most TV personalities. And that’s my opinion for the day.
db24...What you say is true. Message boards have zero impact on company strategies, actions, decisions, etc.
As an individual shareholder, it's difficult to question management regarding major policy. I did take up one issue and got an answer, I respectfully disagreed, but at least I know where they stand on a specific issue.
db24....I really don't that of it as that extreme. If the time ever comes where the possibility of legal action is warranted, at least in the mind of the individual, I know of several investors that would step in line based on conversations I have had.
I think RP realizes all of that and believes he is well within appropriate guidelines, which of course would be decided by others.
Cass....i am glad you realize that all of the audit firms, that is their individual business relationships, are not perfect.
As a result we really don't know the truth behind edig changing firms. It's speculation, so please don't imply that they resigned because they felt edig was in the wrong, accounting wise.
Cass....What a joke. A safety net, where did you learn that and from who? Who do you think pays the audit firm?
The real world never works like it is written.
How about all the last years problems with executives and companies. How about some of the audit forms being investigated. How about doctor's not complying with their oath.
Try being part of the real world, there is no business gospel.
Cass....Lots of typos, like you slipped the decimal on an EPS of $.01 as requiring 15 million in earnings on the outstanding shares instead of 1.5 million.
You seem to have typos at your convenience
Cass....I also have worked with auditors. And executives resign, but in reality they are dismissed.
I can recall when our company let the audit firm take a hike, we wanted a different firm. It's not an uncommon practice, maybe you just don't know this.
Cass...Are you privy to this quarters results before anyone else? "funky accounting in QE 6/30/03" as you stated.
Cass.....Could be that the CFO and E&Y were dismissed for the same reason, a little playing with the books; is possible based on the last years auditors activities.
Just as plausible as most of your theories.
owd.....twisting things again. I didn't 10 million for the foreseeable future. I simply said that a company growing from a couple of million to 10 million didn't need a high powered CFO.
You didn't answer the explosive growth question. Or what you would have the top financial individual do on a daily basis.
Your style is to ask questions, but never provide answers.
Until they show a reasonable annual growth rate along with continued new product introductions, they don't need a CFO. It that clear to you without specifying any exact number.
It's still a pretty simple business and they have never needed a high powered CFO in my opinion.
gandalf(jimee)..So with all your knowledge, what does a CFO in a small business do if he is not involved in making deals. Does he make journal entries into the general ledger by hand or what? Tell me what you would have him do on a daily basis.
That's your opinion jimee.
