I realize that the businesses are fundamentally different, and while SWET occupies a category of it's own, I'm still left wanting to compare it to other stocks to see if I can find any patterns.
For kicks I threw TSLA into the mix there, you're right, it also follows the June/July rise and dip pattern, remarkably closely actually.
It makes me think, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that nevertheless comparing them allows us to see and compare market patterns. It seems to me that we can then see which changes are independent from the market or not.
I know in theory that they shouldn't be comparable, but the evidence in front of me suggests some kind of relation.
You chalking this one up to a mere coincidence?
(note: I tried throwing in other stocks into the mix but found no relation, seems to be confined to alternate energy/future growth stocks..haven't tried any more of those though)
