Another POWFOLIO Update.
https://www.facebook.com/powfolio/
They just updated the banner and picture and it says BETA on iOS.
Does this mean the BETA started?
Anyone who was signed up for the iOS BETA get more info?

This is what really makes me wonder if GSL is coming out or not. I follow preview world as well and I have not see any sign of GSL.
Others have said it would be a different code/program to opt into, yet I don't know. The previous attempts showed up with codes.
Between not being in preview world and dead silence from Benny, I am betting no GSL next month.
Do I WANT to be wrong..... YES, prove me wrong Benny!

POWFOLIO Update on FB
https://www.facebook.com/powfolio/
Now it is just an image of the iOS app in landscape, yet the important thing here is look at the comics in the picture on POWFOLIO.
They are not Red Giant Comics. They are from different publishers, etc. Looks like REDG has managed to pull other comic book companies into the mix and use POWFOLIO.
Now that is GOOD news!
-PI
The pricing of $16.95 or higher is standard in the comic industry. Comics are sold in two ways, issues and books sometimes called volumes. This is a book not an issue. A book or volume is usually a set number of individual issues combined into one book or volume. If you read the description it is clear, this is a five issue book/volume.
"Outnumbered nearly 200-to-1, the Ulympians must devise a method of evening up the odds for the coming confrontation that will change the course of human history - forever! Collects issues #6-10 of the hit webcomic series that mixes the sci-fi, fantasy, and super-hero genres!"
Most popular comics, such as The Walking Dead, Attack on Titan, etc have their monthly issues sold for $3-5. Then every year or so, they sell a giant book with the last 12-20 issues combined as a book for $20+. It is a way to make more money off the comic. In essence making money twice off the product.
This is why POWPOLIO is such a great idea. That is what Benny was talking about. Once an issue has been released and made it's money, the comic is done, it just sits in inventory not doing much. POWFOLIO allows money to be made off older comics that nobody would ever pay for, yet are willing to read for free with ads or pay a small price for unlimited access ad free.
-PI
Markiplier was on Jimmy Kimmel last year when Jimmy made the anti-gamer comments. He had Markiplier and another gamer on to show him what it's all about. Getting him on Falon would be great.
I agree that having more than four issues would be nice, yet Marki controls his image like a mother bear protects her cubs. I am sure he agreed to a limited run/time to see how it goes. No public person wants to be tied to a product if it doesn't take off. It's basic image risk mitigation.
In addition, he is a co-author, and I am sure it is a time commitment thing as well.
Good Luck.

POWFOLIO update on the POWFOLIO FB page.

Yes, Powfolio is cross platform! We are already pretty deep into development for Android as we get closer to our iOS beta phase. Pictured here is Powfolio running on an iPad Air 2 and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

I called my local comic shop which is a Diamond distributor and they allowed me to pre-order it no problem with the Diamond code (APR161875). He just stated that it is not due until the end of July.
He also asked if I wanted to pre-order the other books as it is a four part mini-series. He said it looks like one a month for four months. That also makes sense as if you look at the top of Diamond's Preview World it says #1 of 1 (of4). He did not have the codes for those yet but he said the system will order them for you month by month as they become available.
http://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/APR161875
The good news is we know we have a Markiplier four part mini series comic with our name on it. That given, a short special run like this, I am sure will be promoted by Markiplier himself as a charity event like the last one. I just hope Benny isn't giving all profits to Marki's charity...
The downside is, I was hoping for this to be a regular thing, not just a one off thing. Maybe I should say a four off...

OW, I feel your pain. I originally bought in at .09 yes that is .09 and saw it fall from there and bought more at each level as it fell and fell. I bought a bunch at .01 as well thinking it could never go sub-penny. It was two years/tax seasons ago, I decided to sell it all for a MASSIVE loss sub-penny and claim it with the ability to carry the loss over several years.
While I waited the 30 days before I could buy back in, REDG fell again. So I managed to get a good amount more shares for the same amount of money. However, it continued to fall and fall. There was a point where I was like you and could not average down for anything as I kept buying thinking it couldn't fall any more. The thought of putting more money in made me sick seeing on end to the fall, especially after the GSL getting delayed again and again.
I decided over the last year as it has hit .0001 to buy as much as I can. I have managed to average down to .0004. I plan on selling 50% of my shares if it hits .0008 so I can break even and let the rest ride.
That's the "plan" anyways...
***edit*** I just checked and the highest priced shares that I still hold was bought for $0.0114 and the lowest is $0.0001
-PI
J7, When I opened my account I called and asked to transfer REDG and the operator put the ticker into the system and said that they fully trade the stock, yet they do not allow to transfer REDG over. My guess is, like Scottrade, they have a cap ratio on what they are willing to pay to hold each stock and REDG is over that cap ratio.
I have not tried to transfer it over via the website, yet I was just planning on waiting until a little later this summer when I hope it has had some movement and I hope all these road blocks are lifted. It only takes a few days to transfer, so I am willing to take the positives from TD-Ameritrade and wait to move them over.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
-PI
So on the bottom of the webpage it says Powfolio has 5 stars with over 500K reviews? Curious.
-PI
Goes to show you in the comic business you can have all the money, talent, history, and backing and still fumble.
The new Batman vs Superman movie has 30% on Rotten Tomatoes and all the reviews from friends have been horrible... It was at 33% yesterday so it will be interesting to see how far it falls.
One of my friends who is a HUGE Superman fan (belt-buckle and all) said it made the "Green Lantern" movie look good...
Did I say have "all" the talent above? I forgot, Ben Affleck is in it...
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/batman_v_superman_dawn_of_justice/
Please don't forget how bad Marvel messed up Fantastic 4 last year. It has one of the lowest ratings ever for a movie at 9%.

Have a GREAT EASTER everyone!!!
-PI
Marki goes to Comic-Con every year and sits at the REDG table. He has no connection with any other vendor there, so I don't see why it would not continue. Especially since he is a board member and REDG is creating his comic series.
Last year I don't think they confirmed they were going until closer to the date of the show, yet I could be wrong.
However, you are correct and I asked the other day if we had seen a confirmation of REDG going this year.
Last year they set-up the live cam and it was great to see.
-PI
You are likely correct of it not being on POWFOLIO, yet I still think the direct digital download from the REDG store will be what happens for most people.
Maybe there will be options to purchase comics on POWFOLIO, even if we have not seen it yet in the previews.
I was lurking around the REDG store today and realized it has not been updated since before Christmas. They STILL have the Christmas sale banners up, etc.
Sad that basic website management escapes us
-PI
The week after Comic-Con, as I predicted. I am sure Marki will be there signing copies at the REDG table
So if the Marki comic is up for preview, where is the GSL which comes out 9 weeks prior?
-PI
Everyone keeps talking about printed Marki comic books. The original Marki comic was digital download as well as printed.
This generation is going to use POWFOLIO or the digital download option, not go into a comic book store to buy it. IMO.
-PI
That is exactly what I was told on all fronts as well. That is why I have kept my Scottrade account open. I am just leaving my REDG there. It is too hard to sell it and then hope to buy it back at these levels. If not, I would.
I have averaged down my REDG to 0.0004 so I just need a little bump to break even. However, the exit point I was hoping for was .001 or sell half at .0008 to cover my costs and let the rest ride. Will it happen, who knows, it is possible, even with the current outstanding shares it is. It will just take real news and new interest.
I know many on this board, like me, have an average of .0004 - .001. So fighting through those levels is going to be very tough for the stock. Especially when you take the flippers into account on the way up.
Now all we can do is sit and wait for Benny to speak up about something.
I am really disappointed we have not had an update on the REDG Investor Q&A page since January.
-PI
I'm done playing the game with Scottrade. Especially once I saw how much I was paying in OTC fees with them. Never again.
-PI
I only opened an account. I did not transfer anything over, yet it looked really easy to do so.
Call them. They are rated #1 in Cust Serv. I called and they answered everything even though I started out with saying I am not opening an account today.
My retirement account is through work and they would not transfer REDG over, yet they fully trade it. Which is fine for now for me.
Hope this helps.
-PI
I opened my new account at TD-Ameritrade. It has been less than a week, yet to be honest, had I known this option was there, I would have moved my account a long time ago. I get free trades including OTC trades for two months and their tools are much better. After that all trades are just $9.99 compared to Scottrades $7 plus an OTC commission. So you save a bunch of money per trade on OTC stocks.
Ameritrade is a more complex site to use compared to Scottrade, yet it just takes some getting used too.
The best part, hands down, is they give you L2 for free and it includes OTC stocks. Scottrade charges $15 a month as part of Elite and didn't cover OTC stocks last I checked.
Again, I am not looking back in any way shape or form.
-PI
Penny Stocks and information regarding them reminds me a quote from Game of Thrones.
"When you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die"
Maybe it should be updated to:
"When you play in penny-land, you get rich or you go broke"
-PI
I contacted Ameritrade and received good and bad news.
I can open an account and they DO trade REDG with no restrictions. They even have an offer if you open your account with $3,000 you will receive free trades for two months, even on OTC stocks.
The bad news however. They will NOT accept REDG as a transfer stock. He had no explanation as too why. He said their transfer app either accepts the ticker or denies it, no reason given.
Looks like I am going to open my new account with TD-Ameritrade and keep my outstanding REDG stock with Scottrade.
***Someone else said they got a call from Scottrade today. I have received there since Thursday, two branch managers, and the national call center asking if I was happy with their service and keep in mind they are their for me anytime. I was even invited into the local branch to discuss my portfolio. I don't think they liked me pulling my cash out of my account to say the least.
-PI
I am going to be calling them tomorrow to make sure they trade REDG and will accept an REDG stock transfer, yet I am sure they do.
I also need to call Scottrade and see how much they are going to charge me to transfer out of their brokerage and if they will approve a transfer to Ameritrade. Given they are complaining that REDG costs too much for them too hold. It would be in their best interest (if you follow their logic) to transfer it out.
It is as easy opening an Ameritrade account and then filling out the online transfer form once your account is up and running. They do the rest and it takes about a week as their is strict regulations that have to be followed, including time lines they must act within per the gov.
The biggest thing you must make sure is that all the information on both accounts match, such as name, address, etc. If they differ the system will deny the transfer as it is a clearing house that does the transfer, not the two brokerages. One requests and the other sends.
-PI
I hope once POWFOLIO and the Marki comic comes out Marki says check out my comic, you can order it here and it will go to charity, and/or you can read it for free on POWFOLIO. Check it out!
That would be the best combination that I could imagine for us.
-PI
J7, I fully agree. The live feed was great last year. I hope to be able to see Marki as well when I go, yet I don't know if he will be at the REDG table the entire convention.
I plan on bringing one of the kids and he is a HUGE Marki fan. That's why I know/understand how much power Marki is possible of yielding if/when he chooses too.
I don't follow the board as much as I used to, yet have we heard if REDG is going to Comic-Con this year and if Marki will be at our table? I know it's early and I am sure REDG is going, yet I was just looking for confirmation.
*** I will let you know what comes of my dealings with Scottrade. I am sure when I call and ask about transferring they will try and keep me. We will see what they offer me to stay, if anything at all.
-PI
Good to hear. Yet, I wish REDG would use it to our advantage to advertise POWFOLIO.
-PI
Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is May 7th this year, just before the next GSL deadline. It would have been nice to have the GSL launch as part of this great program, just like the original idea.
What better place to advertise your free comic book app (POWFOLIO), than on FCBD inside your free comic?
However, with no news and less than 60 days out, Benny is starting to worry me again about the GSL deadline. I have learned no news from Benny, is not good news.
Also, looking at the Free Comic Book Day site, there are a lot less companies participating and less comics compared to previous years. At least that's how it appears to me.
www.freecomicbookday.com
-PI
I have my Comic-Con ticket and I am going this year. I was only able to get in one day, yet I plan on saying hello to Benny and friends.
-PI
J7, I always thought the added fees that Scottrade put on OTC's was common, so I just went with it. Guess I was way off. It appears I can transfer all my stocks to TD-Ameritrade at no fee from them, yet I don't know what Scottrade will charge me to leave.
A friend told me to look at Robinhood Financial. Have you or has anyone else used them at all? Are the OTC friendly? Since they run such a low cost business plan, I can see them freezing stocks too expensive to hold as well.
-PI
TD-AMERITRADE is the brokerage I have decided to go with.
I have had Scottrade for so many years I didn't even realize I was paying such a premium with them to play in the OTC market.
Well no more.
-PI
I called my local branch today and got the answer I think we all knew already. He said there is nothing wrong with the stock, yet it just costs them too much to hold at this current time. He said it could be off the list any day as well.
I requested them to cash out my account except for the stock and that caught them off guard. I said I invest in high risk stocks and several sub $1.00 stocks. If I can't invest in what I want with the funds that I pay you a nice commission for, than I will take my business else ware after 15 years.
I got a call back from the Branch manager later in the afternoon confirming that I wanted a check for all my cash holdings and I said, yes. We talked, yet he said once a stock is on this list, until they take it off his hands were tied. He asked if I invest all my money in high risk stocks and sub penny (him trying to sell me another product). I said yes, I have my retirement from work in the normal big funds, etc. This is my fun money that I use to play with. If I make money great, if I lose it, I lose it. He didn't know what to say, other than thank you for your business and sorry to see you leave.
So I requested a check and I will be moving to a new brokerage firm next week. I will leave the REDG stock I already own with Scottrade as I can sell it through them.
Again any suggestions on a new firm? I saw the E*TRADE and Ameritrade posts. Anyone use USAA at all? I qualify for an account with them.
-PI
I know, I just like to keep all my stuff in one place for tax reasons. It makes life easier when it's all on one form come February.
Anyone have a recommendation for a new brokerage that trades penny stocks?
-PI
Dr. T, I just contacted my office and got the national call center for Scottrade.
She said they got an email about two stocks just before noon today, REDG being one of them. The email was from their Trading Desk/Security Master (The people who weigh risk).
The email said due to "NSCC E-Liquid Charge" (I have no idea what that means and the phone rep didn't either), Scottrade has cancelled all open orders and will not be allowing Scottrade customers to purchase the stock.
REDG is no a NO BUY, SELL ONLY ticker for Scottrade.
Anyone know what NSCC E-Liquid Charge is/means?
All I could find is this: https://www.firstrade.com/content/en-us/customerservice/faqs/illiquidfees/
Which would lean towards what they told Dr. T, about it being to expensive to hold/trade. She did tell me she sees this kind of email with high risk stocks.
-PI
Brokerage Firm Recommendations?
Anyone have any recommendations for a brokerage to use if Scottrade won;t let me trade REDG anymore?
I have only ever used Scottrade (15 years), yet if they will not let me invest my money how I want, I will be moving on quickly.
So any recommendations and why they are better than another, I am all ears!
-PI
Dr. T, I have the same problem. I just checked after seeing your post and they even cancelled my open order I had for .0001. Not a happy person AT ALL as I have had Scottrade for 15 years without issue. My account is valued over $25,000 so I will have to call tomorrow or stop in their office as its around the corner from where I live.
I tried to place my order again and it just tells me to contact my local branch about trading this stock. NOT HAPPY!!!
I will let you know what I find out.
-PI
J7, I think the Markiplier cover got noticed today.
We saw the bid go way up last week I think it was after more Powfolio updates. Then it went way down for half a day, then went back up. I am guessing one person decided to average way down or we had several individuals do the same/jump in today. I don't have L2, etc so I can't see anything anymore. I can only speculate.
However, I am sure people have mentally entered (I have) that 60ish days and counting for the GSL, Powfolio TBD, and Markiplier in July with Comic-Con 2016 in late July.
We have all seen the interest in REDG climb prior to each previous failed launch. I think we are coming up on the last chance to get .0001's and probably .0002's as well. I would like to see it reach .0005 just off the build up to GSL, yet with the dilution and flipping that is possible at these numbers and prices, who can say?
We are due a Benny update any day now if history proves correct.
-PI
459,035,114 shares traded in the last few minutes as of right now. I think anyone who wanted .0001 just got them.
-PI
Someone just dumped a ton of shares at .0001 and others picked it up. Great volume, yet wow a lot of shares at once just traded at .0001.
-PI
Lawrence should be fired. That is what I would do as a manager if an employee went public with inside information or their opinion. Now given that does not help anything, I would discipline him so say the least.
We don't know the motives behind his post or reason for putting it out on the net. For all we know Beeny is having the writing of this comic done without Lawrence and he is upset about it. I do not know the ownership of Tesla, etc but I am sure REDG has some play in it.
The Markiplier comic is not Tesla, it is Markiplier with a guest appearance of Tesla. It might only be a few words or pages that in Benny's eyes don't require Lawrence's approval or input. The Markiplier comic is supposed to be him in different adventures. Maybe Tesla adventure comic #1 and Magica #2. We don't know...
Just my two cents. People need to not jump all over this so fast. There could be 20 explanations for this, yet Benny does need to speak up about it and Lawrence needs to bite his tongue as well.
-PI
60 days since the last update and just about 60 days until the "promised" May 18th GSL launch.
There is no reason why we cannot get an "everything is on track" update from Benny.
That's not too much to ask, is it?
-PI
