Bit Coin about to shoot over 10K! BTCS going for a buck IMO
I'm trying to figure out the currency conversion. Anyone help? TWMJF is loosing value as the dollar gets stronger?? In the summer TWD would be at say 2.40 and TWMJF would be around 2.26.
Now if TWD is at 2.40, TWMJF is at 2.06. I just can't rap my head around this. Should it not be going the other way if the dollar is getting stronger? Thanks to anyone who can help!
I support DONATING to charity but when you are burning 2 + million a quarter, how about waiting till your established and profitable sheeesh! Tweed is running before it can even crawl sometimes.
Well that latest PR is way more clear as to what's available for the current harvest. Basically 250.000 grams. 250k X 6.80 per gram = Approx. 1.7 Million in sales We will have to keep an eye on the shop page.
Tweed Has You Covered for the 13th Day of Christmas
December 4th, 2014
-For Immediate ReleaseAs
people around the country prepare their homes for the holiday season, Tweed is
decking the halls with a slightly different variety of greenery.
Starting today, the Company’s largest and most diverse harvest to date is hitting the
Tweed shop. Our state-of-the-art facilities and continuous production will ensure
Tweed customers have access to the medicine they need, when they need it.
What to expect in the Tweed store this holiday season?
Fox Hunt / Yorkshire / Herringbone
High Lands / Sixty Three / Birds Eye / Balmoral / Buddy / Clarence
Donegal / Leonidas / Milton / Argyle
Tweed’s strains include CBD and THC-dominant varieties along a spectrum of
potency to match the specific needs of our growing customer base.
“By listening to our customers and leveraging our expertise and our diverse growing
environments, we will tailor our offerings to the needs of the Canadian market,” said
Bruce Linton, Chairman and Co-founder of Tweed.
Construction continues at the former Hershey chocolate factory, where Tweed’s
growing capacity doubled in September and will double again before the end of
2014. Tweed Farms, our second licensed facility, is set to receive 6000 plants in the
coming weeks to begin its second harvest. These enhancements will enable Tweed
to be in a state of perpetual harvest, ensuring that customers have access to various
strains year-round.
With the ongoing harvest, Tweed has nearly 250,000 grams that are being prepared
for sale, with multiple rooms to harvest in 2014. As we move through our stringent
quality assurance and testing procedures a small portion of the harvested product
will be allocated to our in-house R&D team.
Today’s releases include Balmoral (aka UK Cheese), and new to the Tweed store,
Milton (aka: Cocoa Kush). Release dates for the other 11 strains will be announced
on Twitter.
As Tweed matures, we’re coming to better understand the growing patterns of our
strains, the resulting product and the needs of our customers. After reviewing the
original prices we set at the beginning of the year, we’ve seen some inconsistencies
in our pricing that needed adjustment.
Tweed continues to accept new patients. Register today and you will receive your
first shipment without spending a single day on a waiting list.
Here’s to future growth.

Is Carpathain still around? I have not seen him around since the Q report.
Tweed operates a “seed to sale” business that delivers to thousands of end clients in a highly regulated environment. The opportunity for the business is very significant and the ability to scale the IT/MIS platform is a critical advantage. Tweed is looking for the individual who can not only define our system but also implement it to deliver excellent support to our team and our customers when they engage with us. This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in creating an IT environment that is a leader in this emerging industry
This is on Tweeds web sit on the hiring page.

What got my attention is this line:
Tweed operates a “seed to sale” business that delivers to thousands of end clients
Not sure but does this mean they already have at least 2k clients?

17 is my lucky number!

IMO it's just a matter of time before the lower 48 changes cannabis laws at the Federal level.
TWEED will benefit from the change, also IMO> Once the US changes the entire world will follow suit!
Tough to watch the stock price as the low volume plunge occurs. Eventually it will become the monster of the marijuana industry! They will have 12 functioning grow rooms by the end of this month. 6k plants en rout to the Green house. 2015 will be the year of massive sales compared to their first year, which is the year of birth and growth.
Next year TWEED will be learning to crawl, out of diapers. 2016 is where it will get real fun for investors. I honestly think by 2017, Tweed stock will be 17+. GLTA, know what you own.
Tweed to be in a state of perpetual harvest, ensuring that customers have access to various strains year-round. -
That is fantastic! " Perpetual Harvest!" 6000k plants this time around going to NOTL>
Thanks for the DD. I think the new pricing is good. Nice variety. TWEED is nimble, they are really in discovery from day to day in their first year! Nice move in my book. We are going to see a lot of product landing soon and I think things are about to get very exciting. I'm not cheer leading, I'm a happy investor about ready to see what a year of super hard work from the company is going to do for my investment and for the company and their patients. GO TWEED! LOL!
Some negativity in your recent post? Almost like you want it lower? hmm. Closed at 2.39 ah yea sure broke 2.40
They were asked about guidance. Gibbs said that Q1 2015 will be a very positive quarter. Thats all he said.
2.2 pounds = 1 kilo.
THE 3,500 number they clarified as kilos not pounds. That's big!
Inventory is counted as plants in the pot. "Biological Assets". So that answers the inventory question.
The conference call has started.
I guess it was a miss. For the twenty or so regular posters on Ihub. Me being included who thought it would range from 500k to well over a million. As for for joe public though, it's a solid 60%+ increase in revenue. So a miss is relative I suppose. I know one thing. Come February, when they report Q4,
I doubt anyone here who is a regular poster will dare to make prediction. I sure as hell won't as I discovered that I am absolutely clueless!
Well I'm even more guilty as I thought it would be over a million. I am super stunned. Well never again. Lesson learned here.
Exactly S-girl! The really cool thing will be when it hits 3.50 TWMJF. My original buy in, I will be up nicely! Also, it's cool being a part of such a ground breaking new industry. I bought and sold so many keepers in my day. This will be my swan song purchase! Thanks for all your post. I think we weathered the worst of it!
Yes that is the plan, I have posted that plan here a hundred times. I guess, I'm just excited to be back to even in my account and hoping like hell not to go through it all over again after the volume, euphoria fades. But I will not sell for at least 7 years. Using the Dell analogy, I think it will take that long for TWEED to mature! GLTA!
Pretty euphoric around here. After six month's of watching red get redder, and now finally at near break even, this is where the trader in me would like to sell my shares and hope for the pullback.
It just seems like that's the play. HOWEVER, I swore to myself that I would not do that with my position. It took six months to average down to 2.60 after diving in around 3.50 in April. I have more than three times my original share amount. It would really hurt selling at break even hoping to time this around earnings only to watch the move into the threes never to look back at the 2s again.
So, no matter what this does in the next week, month, year, I must simply be a watcher!
So I say to myself: Do not sell, Do not sell, Do not sell, Do not sell, Do not sell, …….
Thanks for the DD! Good post!
Exactly, 2014 was the crawling year. Off to a good start but not even close to sprinting. 2015 they will pick up the pace, and will be walking the talk!
Well, yes it is all speculating at this point. Tweed might have a blow out 3rd. quarter between 500k
and one million and the stock might go down. No one knows. One thing for sure is TWEED is hitting all it's milestones and in a few years from now all this silly back and forth will be mute! For those who have been here since the beginning we have a right to speculate. Cracks me up though when someone plays the "why are you posting on this board, get a life", is also posting on this board, today on Sunday. A little weird, ain't?
Here is what I had to say about Q2 numbers two weeks prior to the report back in August! Click on my post #7675!
Sorry typo, I don't know how man vaporizers and bags and pouches they will sell in Q3 but it will be something.
Now you are bringing up a VERY good point. My assumption of inventory is what they had in the vault at the end of Q2. If however, they were including live plants and unprocessed dry goods, well then that would definitely change my entire thesis. So yes good point on the interpretation of what TWEED is calling inventory.
Thing is for me that they shipped 5,600, one foot tall, plants to NOTL the second week of August. At maturity I'm thinking that will equate to around 9 + million in inventory.
So they were not included in the 900+k inventory at the end of June. I don't know but I am ASSUMING
that the inventory was processed and in the vault. Would be a super question for the conference call to have Linton elaborate on how TWEED defines inventory. Don't forget about non medicine sales too!
In September there were periods where the shop was down to just a couple strains. Then suddenly more inventory would come online. If the 900K was not sold out, the whole month of Sept. would have been fully stocked!
You betcha!~ Well we were both here from almost day one. So it's not like we are just spouting off,
Everyone has their own opinion. Would not be surprised to see the gross revenue number be somewhere in the middle around 700k. But I will stick to my original estimate of 1.1 Million. TWEED
is not Mettrum!
Yea and if we are close to the Million mark I hope you man up as well. BTW was not a pump. Was some real DD based on the million in inventory at the end of Q2 and how the shop was monitored for all of Q3. Anything over 500K will be viewed as a win. You need a chill pill though IMO!
In terms of ranting, idiot, bashers, we ain't seen nothing yet! In terms of real success, once TWEED begins to bring in the customers and the revenue, alls these jealous trolls will seep out of the woodwork to stop here and bash away. Good sign longs! We all know what we own! Welcome aboard TROLLS!
It's coming that's for sure! Personally, I would not mind a couple more days to fill out the right shoulder, that being said, the numbers are all that will matter and a little forward guidance .
.20 more for me to break even, been here since April and more psyched then ever! GO TWEED!
Funny thing is I never lost hope! .20 cents, Who cares. I will pay off the mortgage and then some!
YEE TAH!
Very similar to the figures I posted the other day as well as the share price. New all time high by May 1st, 2015 or around 5.00 is my best projection. Add in the elections and the MMPR trial and it could go much higher!
General Ideas
While the construct of the pause in the trend is different for the flag and pennant, the attributes of the chart patterns themselves are similar. It is vital that the price movement prior to the flag or pennant be a strong, sharp move.
Typically, these patterns take less time to form during downtrends than in uptrends. In terms of pattern length, they are generally short-term patterns lasting one to three weeks, but can be formed over longer periods.
The volume, as with most breakout signals, should be seen as strong during the breakout to confirm the signal. Upon breakout, the initial price objective is equal to the distance of the prior move added to the breakout point. For example, if a prior sharp up movement was from $30 to $40, then the resulting price objective from a price breakout of $38 would be $48 ($38+$10).
The flag and pennant patterns are two continuation patterns that closely resemble each other, differing only in their shape during the pattern's consolidation period. This is the reason the terms flag and pennant are often used interchangeably. A flag is a rectangular shape, while the pennant looks more like a triangle.
These two patterns are formed when there is a sharp price movement followed by generally sideways price movement, which is the flag or pennant. The pattern is complete when there is a price breakout in the same direction of the initial sharp price movement. The following move will see a similarly sharp move in the same direction as the prior sharp move. The complete move of the chart pattern - from the first sharp move to the last sharp move - is referred to as the flag pole.
The flag or pennant is considered to be flying at half-mast, as the distance of the initial price movement is thought to be roughly equal to the proceeding price move. The reason these patterns form is that after a large price movement, the market consolidates, or pauses, before resuming the initial trend.
The Pennant
The pennant forms what looks like a symmetrical triangle, where the support and resistance trendlines converge towards each other. The pennant pattern does not need to follow the same rules found in triangles, where they should test each support or resistance line several times. Also, the direction of the pennant is not as important as it is in the flag; however, the pennant is generally flat.
Get ready for round 2 of a similar move as the last move up!! Should take this to around $3.50 (TWD) $3.12 TWMJF
Yea! 1700 shares for TWMJF UP .05 YES! LOL
It's just a super low volume day. The TSX - TWD has only traded 26K today. So proportionately,
zilch for TWMJF. Might get a trade today then the US ticker will even out. Don't worry volume will be here very soon! IMO
Good work Carp!
Exactly, Smith Falls at 3500 or 3.5 Million grams. The Green house this fall was shipped 5,600 plants.
A greenhouse environment should produce at least on average 200 grams per plant. Doing the math
just for the greenhouse location. 5,600 plants X 200 grams = 1.12 million grams. Add that to the 3.5
million from Smith Falls you get 4,620 or 4.62 million grams for 2015 I thinks the average price has been at 8.80 So for my math I'm predicting $40 million in gross revenue. I think the GMP report that is stickyed at the top of the home page, is low balling.
