What's the news??
PYTO Rising well and volume is sigificantly up from where it has been. Any thoughts to what is happening here??? Looks like they have a great potetial product if all goes well. Could it finally be the best cure/treatment for obesity to date??
Samuel Adams fría aquí.
You too Bob. Time for a cold beer now!!!
Whoops....I threw it back after your admission. MY BAD!!! I'll be good now...
How many people on this board graduated from elementary school? I've seen better grammer in my 8 year old niece's homework than I
(should be "have seen") seen on this board. Half the time I can't tell what you are trying to say.
But hey....Who cares. I do not manage to correct my quick errors for forums as I suck with a keyboard..
TLNO did really well for a few days when it was TLTD. I was lucky and made a bit on that one. I was out after 4 days though. ONTC made be a similar play. It had a few good days. I only broke even on that one then it did a small run two days after I was out..Oh welllll...You can't win em all..
Congrats Bob and I agree with your assesment. EZTO will pop in a day or two. Another PR is supposed to come out Monday and todays PR coupled with major volume increase should pop this baby up a bit. QRVI is up over 9 percent today and I think it has some legs to it. MSEP up 26.67% today and more news releases next week for expansion as I understand. MSEP and QRVI will be having great potential for awhile I beleive. EZTO is good for a bang and maybe more we will see. ABEW bounced back up over 20 percent today as well. I am loving going into a weekend like this....
I'll be watching to see..
Well Otto Ought to or is that Ought to Otto...
I hear ya EZ. Too much forgettin after the weekends...
Ditto to that except I have no position anymore. I have been watching for interest and wish all the good folks here the best. I keep thinking I might jump if something confirmable leaps out but am not expecting that to occur.Oh well.....We shall see the light soon.....
By the way Carp...Are you still in CLYW ? Have'nt seen you in a while..
Yes it did. That is one of the reasons I posted this opportunity as it is a great buy at this time I feel. It will rebound fairly quickly and then onward once we get some news. You are right though..this is probably the last chance in the .20s...
One last TIP on something other than CLYW. EZTO will make a strong run for a few more days starting tommorrow until it takes a coffe break. I am expecting better than a 50-75 percent return by tuesday of next week. I could be wrong but I have some dollars itching to go up on this one...
Well I was hoping that 660k shares would be enough but I would like a few more anyway...
OK I am joking I am short a few from that remark...hehe
I think over the next month or two we will see very good things happen with QRVI...
I think ASNAP has abandoned ship....
Got this at Raging Bull

Me too EZ ..Need a dip to add a few mo!!
Good one Dusty...
Well, Diversifying will limit the chances that all picks will fall simultaneously if proper due dilligence is paid. I try to pick stocks that will be potential strong hitters that have some strong promise of success and good management that reports frequently. These are penny stocks and as such can be very volatile/risky. However, I like you want the biggest bang I can get while being as secure as possible. If I wanted better security I would stick with fully reporting companies and established industry/sector leaders. I have some of them too. But I do not put more than 30 percent into the more volatile /risky pennys. That may be more than some are comfortable with and less than some like to gamble with. I try to stick with companies in whatever I buy to be longer term potential risers so it has opportunities going forward more than just a short blip. Diversifying down can hurt overall gains but can save your A$$ if all eggs in one basket is dropped. I guess I try to follow the Warren Buffet style for the bulk of my portfolio and the Michael Milken (haha) style for the pennys, pink sheets and OTC stuff....
I will admit however, that I do as much quality DD as I can and depend on the expertise and experience/track record of other investors on various forums for thier views and opinions on different companies. I observe and save to my favorites list those who seem knowledeable and who I have seen to have a great track record of making strong picks and I factor that in as well. You can never have too much information in this game...
By the way ABEW is similar to Calypso except it has working products that meet the new ratified Zigbee standards for wireless home automation and industrial uses. News will be out soon and I will bet it will double or more very quickly once this occurs. Right now it is a great potential play for short and longer term investing. I will stop now...
Not a bad pick...As I said a few weeks back MSEP QRVI and EZTO would be good plays..Check out thier results over the last few weeks. QRVI will hit pretty well real soon as it is starting to move. Graet Company with much forward potential and undervalued as well. EZTO up 68% today and MSEP up over 100% over the last few weeks with much more to come, QRVI is starting its climb which I think will be a multi bagger in the next few weeks.
Always good to diversify!!!
I agree...I am still bullish on MSEP and QRVI and quite possibly a big pop for EZTO in the next week or so..
Just Curious Charles, Do you think this company's history and current reporting would meet Warren Buffet's criteria??? Do you think he owns any of this stock or would grant his approval of this stock??? Just wondering what your take on that would be...
What peak are you referring to?

PhytoMedical Announces Agreement with Celliance BioServices, Inc. to Conduct Animal Studies of BDC-03.
February 22, 2005 09:15:00 (ET)
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb 22, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PhytoMedical Technologies, Inc. (PYTO, Trade), an early stage research based biopharmaceutical company specializing in the discovery, development and eventual commercialization of innovative plant derived pharmaceutical and nutraceutical compounds, today announced that the Company has signed an Agreement with Celliance BioServices, Inc. of Celliance(TM) Corporation -- a Serologicals Company -- to initiate further animal studies of BDC-03, a plant derived compound which has been successful in reducing body fat percentage, increasing lean muscle mass and lowering cholesterol in studies of growing animals.
Under the terms of the Agreement, Celliance BioServices will conduct PhytoMedical's ongoing, early stage in vivo studies at its laboratories in Morgan Hill, California, a 30,000 square foot research facility known for its expertise in front-end, biopharmaceutical product development pipeline R&D.
"I'm very pleased that we've been able to enlist the expert scientific support of a well-respected leader in biopharmaceutical research and development services for these particular animal studies of BDC-03," commented President of PhytoMedical Technologies, Mr. Indy S. Panchi.
"These animal studies are especially important to us since they are designed to generate outcomes we believe will allow us to fully leverage PhytoMedical's recently announced extraction-fractionation-isolation research initiative with PlantaAnalytica, LLC, a Connecticut-based drug discovery contract research firm with special expertise in organic chemistry and in isolating active components from microbial and plant extracts such as BDC-03," continued Mr. Panchi.
"I'm hopeful that collectively, our animal science research at Celliance BioServices and organic chemistry work at PlantaAnalytica, will help us better identify the pharmacological components that may be responsible for specific bioactivity observed in very early stage studies of growing animals."
In those studies, BDC-03 had the effect of decreasing the deposition of fat and, correspondingly, shifting overall weight increase toward lean muscle mass gain. This prospective ability of BDC-03 to preferentially shift overall weight gain in the form of lean muscle may well turn out to be a critically important therapeutic outcome for those suffering from cachexia, a deadly muscle wasting disease that afflicts 25% of all AIDS patients and upwards of 90% of all advanced cancer patients. In fact, half of all cancer related deaths are a result of cachexia and not the cancer itself.

About PhytoMedical Technologies, Inc.
PhytoMedical Technologies, Inc. (PYTO, Trade), together with its wholly owned subsidiaries, is an early stage research based biopharmaceutical company specializing in the discovery, development and eventual commercialization of innovative plant derived pharmaceutical and nutraceutical compounds targeting cachexia, obesity and diabetes.
An estimated 300 new drugs of world-wide importance, worth over $150 billion, still remain to be discovered amongst the 250,000 species of higher plants found on earth, of which less than 15% have been investigated for bioactive compounds. Presently, twenty of the best selling drugs come from natural sources and 25% of all prescription drugs contain active compounds originally derived from or patterned after compounds derived from plants.
BDC-03 Successful in Increasing Lean Muscle Mass and Reducing Body Fat Percentage
Named BDC-03, PhytoMedical's first plant derived compound has pharmacologically active elements that have been successful in reducing body fat percentage, increasing lean muscle mass and lowering cholesterol in studies of growing animals.
For obese or overweight individuals, BDC-03's potential capacity to decrease the deposition of fat and lower cholesterol would be a vitally important therapeutic outcome. However, its prospective ability to induce overall weight gain in the form of lean muscle mass may well be the difference between life and death for individuals suffering from cachexia.
Cachexia, which is characterized by dramatic weight loss, not only of fatty tissue, but also muscle tissue and bone, is among the most devastating and life-threatening aspects of AIDS and cancer. Once the body loses 30% of its lean muscle mass, major organs are affected, resulting in death.
Sadly, cachexia afflicts 25% of all AIDS patients and upwards of 90% of all advanced cancer patients. In fact, half of all cancer related deaths are a result of cachexia, not the cancer itself.
Polyphenolic Compounds Increase Sugar Metabolism by a Factor of 20
Diabetes, which results from the body's inability to produce enough insulin or use it efficiently, affects 18.2 million people in the United States, or 6.3% of the population (American Diabetes Association). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention expects this number to rise to over 30 million by 2030. As the leading cause of end-stage renal disease, blindness and lower limb amputations, diabetes now costs the health care system over $132 billion each year.
While the causes of diabetes are not entirely clear, it is known that diet plays a key role in the prevention and cure of diabetes. In fact, research studies have shown that aqueous extracts of the most commonly consumed spice, cinnamon, improves the action of insulin and helps to control risk factors associated with diabetes including, glucose, insulin, cholesterol, triglycerides and related variables.
One study published in Diabetes Care, a journal of the American Diabetes Association, showed that as little as one gram a day of cinnamon -- one-fourth of a teaspoon twice a day -- can lower blood sugar by an average of 18 to 29 percent, triglycerides (fatty acids in the blood) by 23 to 30 percent, LDL (or "bad") cholesterol by 7 to 27 percent and total cholesterol by 12 to 26 percent. Changes in HDL ("good") cholesterol were not significant. Amazingly, the study found that the beneficial effects of cinnamon lasted for at least 20 days after people stopped taking it.
Through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement, PhytoMedical is working towards synthesizing the active components found in cinnamon and characterizing their beneficial health effects in cell cultures systems, animals and ultimately humans.

No doubt about it ..A morale boost does calm the nerves but...morale boosting is emotionally based not intellectually based. If you have the belief in a company's success based upon what you know to be true then you will have good morale. If in fact you are hoping a position you took based on minimal or hard to corroborate information is successful then it is surely a pure speculative investment which does create nervousness amplified by time and more speculation. I am not saying that you feel this way neccesarily but in the past when I had a position in this company I did.
I do know that this industry will take off soon but I do not know enough about CLYWs place in the technology to feel comfortable at this point. The fact that Calypso has been extraordinarily tight lipped to its investors is usually a sign of major problems and concerns. I do invest in speculative stocks for the rush of a big gain but try to have at least enough info to satisfy my scrutinizing brain. Calypso has not met even my weakest level of need in this area. Things could soon do well for them but I needed more honesty and forthrightness to feel at least a little comfort for which they offered none. The fact that they know there is a forum here and through the contacts that have been made and the info disseminated regaring the HTC phones and trials have only been spoken about over the phone and not by any traceable written correspondence as a press release is disturbing. They know the challenge they face with the competition and the big powerhitters of the industry that will try to suppress them. And of course that is only if they are successful. I surely hope everyone here does well and makes a lot of money but please use prudence so you can sleep at night if all does not go as planned. The ole bird in the bush slogan applies here as does the diversification theory as well.
Thanks Racer, I agree with your point about the most important line. That is probably the key here. The billing or revenue sharing aspect as PCLEE said is already in place in parts of Aisa. The need for this technolgy is evident. The competitors in the hardware and software arena are growing and many major companies are consolidating efforts to be the first on the block I would assume. The interesting part is that the UMA consortium is comprised of many of the biggest telecommunications companies. Even if Calypso beats them to the punch, they would not have to accept Caypso's technology with thier collective version of seamless roaming on the verge of hitting the streets. Only if Calypso's technology was very superior and well ahead of thier own version would potential demand prompt acceptance in the industry. It is possible but Calypso is much like David vs Goliath. Of course Goliath did fall. The other possibility is that Calypso if successful with trials could be bought out at a premium by another company. The next several weeks will be interesting. Possibilities exist in a number of directions and trying to guess what may occur is truly a crap shoot at this point...
I agree PCLEE, WE are running behind most Asian countries as far as wireless leading edge technologies and deployment. Kind of amazing when you think of the capital and technology in the US. From what I can understand from a quick read through of IRAP, the deployment of this system is designed to be more of a North American version possibly a standard that we basically model after what you mention. There is no doubt that this seamless technology and consolidated billing will occur. The question is who will be the first to gain succesful market share in this country, There are a lot of competitive technologies in this area now and the first to demonstrate a viable solution will likely win big. Calypso has a major challenge to get this done first. It may happen and then maybe not. We will see..
Where the heck is ASSNAPPER???? Sorry ASNAP just having fun...Bob made me do it.
Charles, Did you ever get into MSEP?? It is doing really well and will get even better...
Another interesting article that will serve to create a unified system for basically tallying up the number of minutes used by various providers of wireless networks into one unified bill or invoice. A single user's identification that can be stored on a SIM chip that will be universally registered with all wireless providers I am assuming. I need to learn more so don't quote me..
NEWS RELEASE
ETSI hosts connectivity tests for International Roaming Access Protocols (IRAP)
IRAP Program Interoperability Event on 7 -11 February 2005
Sophia Antipolis, 10th February 2005
Access to wireless services anywhere, anytime, which is being driven by end-user demand, is an exciting challenge for telecom operators and manufacturers. For this to become a reality an implementation of common interfaces ensuring seamless roaming is needed. This is the objective of the IRAP (International Roaming Interfaces Protocols) program.
Tests being completed this week at the ETSI Plugtests™ interoperability site are providing “real world” environments that will help carriers, operators and intermediaries to set the bench mark for IRAP compliant networks, providing seamless connectivity for wireless users.
The Plugtests event has provided test beds to measure the resilience of the IRAP framework, which is fully harmonized with the GSM Association’s Operator WLAN Handbook (IR61) for GSM operator Wi-Fi deployment, and is also intended for use by fixed line and independent Wi-Fi operators.
The Plugtest test beds include four complete Wi-Fi hotspots, providing roaming interoperability with six different service providers and intermediaries.
Philippe Cousin, manager of ETSI Plugtests Service, is hopeful that this is the beginning of a series of interoperability events and further cooperation with various manufacturers and operators for evolved networks.
Mr. Cousin remarked;
“This event is a good example of the commitment that the participants have to work together to achieve end-to-end interoperability. We hope that the work on the IRAP framework will be enhanced as a result of this week’s testing.”
Companies participating in the ETSI Plugtests this week included Boingo, Cetecom, Funk Software, Gemplus, Intel, MACH Dan Net, PicoPoint Technologies, Roampoint, Syniverse, and Telia-Sonera.
The primary focus this week has been the tests conducted the ETSI draft Technical Report ETSI DTR/Tispan 02025, which develops an open implementation for international wireless roaming from “next generation networks”, maximizing the use of existing standards.
The Technical Report has been prepared by the ETSI Technical Committee TISPAN and is entitled; “NGN Requirements and Functional Architecture; Network Attachment using Fixed Wireless LAN (802.1X)”.
“We are pleased to be working with ETSI to continue advancing the IRAP framework,” said Kevin Kahn, Intel Senior Fellow and Director of Intel Communications Technology Lab. “Deployment of IRAP-compatible networks by wireless service operators will enable safer, simpler, seamless connectivity at hotspots worldwide. This is a great opportunity for the industry to provide better service and increase customer satisfaction.”

Another interesting article....
News: Avaya's vision of seamless roaming from Wi-Fi to GSM is still just a vision
Avaya InfoOne of the major topics of discussion over the past year has been the vision of a handset that lets users make phone calls on internal wireless networks and continue talking while they're on the cellular network.
Seamless roaming is more than a dual-mode handset with an 802.11 card that lets users connect to Wi-Fi hotspots or internal wireless access points, and to the cellular networks. Seamless roaming would allow a salesperson, for example, to talk on a cell phone outside a building, enter the building and have the call connect to the internal wireless local-area network and then disconnect from the cellular network.
If you were under the impression that such services were already available, it's not because you're hallucinating. It's probably because you remember Avaya's big announcement last summer, in which the equipment manufacturer said it would resell Motorola's CN620 handset to corporate users in North America by the end of 2004.
The launch has since been delayed to next year. By contrast, Cisco Systems Inc. has been relatively quiet on seamless roaming; executives will only say they'll make announcements in 2005.
Making seamless roaming work is easier said than done. Internal wireless networks based on IEEE 802.11 are completely different from cellular networks based on either global system for mobile communications (GSM) or code division multiple access (CDMA). Making a handset that works on both networks (such as the HP iPaq Pocket PC h6315) is one thing.
Getting a device like the Motorola CN620 to roam between the networks is a much more difficult task. For one, you'd have to find a carrier to offer a service plan on its network. The CN620 works on GSM networks only, and Rogers Wireless Inc. is the only Canadian carrier offering GSM to the business market. Rogers executives have said they're watching this technology but have yet to announce plans to offer a service. If a vendor launches a seamless roaming product that works well, it would probably be the biggest networking news story of 2005. Otherwise, it will remain no more than a vision.
I must admit..This board is too damn funny!!! I do not currently hold any shares since I sold a few weeks back but do continue to monitor this and other scouring efforts to learn of any new info. I still have some small level of hope here. But I must admit that this board cracks me up. A lot of seriously funny jabbin going on round here. BOB...You should be a comedian with your comments and pet name assignments. That is too damn funny...Come to think of it I have'nt heard from the nipper lately. Hope all is well...
I think this stock will soon be a great momentum play. I have a fairly sizeable position now and will add more soon on a dip here and there. I am looking forward to a good multi bagger within the next week or two...We'll see....
This could be very interesting!!! A possible TLTD scenario could emerge...hhhmmm???
