"Fellow feline". Huh? Is it just me or is this pretending to be a cat nonsense just friggin weird?
I appreciated the fact that in the 4K Studios scanning workflow, NTEK is planning on the future adoption of Dolby Vision so they don't have to go back and rescan film.
Advice for future: don't invest what you can't afford to lose.
He can't but if he can make himself appear to have noticed what was stated in the videophile review, he will.
Well, what if the Samsung robo chat guy that some poster(s) utilize, still don't know about Ultraflix? I mean it could suggest that your dad is a figment of your imagination or your father is an insider with a usb drive.
I don't know. On NTEK's webpage they state:
NEWSWEEK: "Gadget Lust: Santa’s Got a Brand New Bag of High-Tech Gifts"
"...or selected Amazon Instant titles from UltraFlix."
http://www.newsweek.com/gadget-lust-santas-got-brand-new-bag-high-tech-porn-289642
Of course they do. Apple does the same thing, they even provide the software. Next time you see someone else create an all 4k streaming app, please enlighten us all with your discovery, thanks.
Yeah I know manipulation is awful isn't it?
Absolutely. CES is going to be a good week for shareholders. Can't believe how much has happened since last year. Ntek is moving forward quickly as a company just out of r&d a few years ago.
I'd like that to be true as much as any other shareholder here but are we really going there because he handed out a roku as a gift?
Omg are you serious now?
Good thing I don't care if you're waiting then.
I'd be a frustrated Sony UHD TV owner if I had one. I'm pretty sure many already are based on the Sony owners forums I've read. Ultraflix would be a welcomed addition to their tv's I'm sure.
There's no conflict at all. In Reality the Ultraflix app is available to Samsung UHD TV owners regardless of whether it is currently populated as an app on their website or not. Your request for photos is silly. Just go verify yourself. Keep it up and one might conclude that reality is not a major concern of yours, simply garnering replies from people to add to your tally.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that's probably not going to be good enough. It's easier to sit behind your screen and imagine the app doesn't exist on Samsung TV's.
Meanwhile in reality Samsung UHD TV's are making their way into thousands of consumer homes. With the current availability of 4k content out there, Ultraflix will undoubtedly be added and watched - as the record already shows via reports coming from NTEK.
No way to tell why, right? Could literally be any number of reasons. I wouldn't hazard a claim as to why since I can't conceive how anybody could possibly know without being a Sony insider.
They just had a recent firmware update on 12/3. I concur, not yet.
Maybe, maybe not. I own shares here, so I'm guessing yes. We will see, won't we?
Wow, Ultraflix.com up
Absolutely. ULTRAFLIX will sell SAMSUNG UHD TV's - ESPECIALLY since they are the only UHD TV's that have the Ultraflix app - along with Samsung Exclusive M-Go 4K and DirecTV 4K deals.
Well said NIKO! SAMSUNG HUGE!! This is going to get ridiculou$ when Ultraflix shows up on SONY, VIZIO, LG and other manufacturer UHD TV's. Then there's the Gaming Division . Boom Time coming..
I actually miss the hair eater..
...not
Yes sticky plz and, someone pinch me..
That's sexy.
"NanoTech told GadgetGuy this week that the library of titles contains more than 500 hours of 4K content, including titles from Warner and Imax , and that quite a few concerts are being converted for Ultra High Definition playback, as well as some TV shows."

interesting I didn't see your posts. I saw your humorous posts on the SONY boards, but not SAMSUNG.
avsforum guys just figuring out Ultraflix now on Samsung:

Um, no.
ULTRAFLIX will be UNIVERSAL 4K STREAMING. Read: WIDESPREAD MARKET PENETRATION.
ULTRAFLIX = ULTRA WIDESPREAD ADOPTION
"Samsung Joins Forces With DirecTV and M-GO To Provide 4K Programming"
M-Go 4K Content will be exclusive to Samsung only. Ultraflix will be universal. That, and Ultraflix has yet to be eclipsed in hours of content. Is M-Go even streaming 4K yet on Samsungs? If they aren't yet, they should change to title of this article from
"Samsung and M-GO Launch First U.S. UHD Transactional VOD Service"
to
"Samsung and Ultraflix Launch First U.S. UHD Transactional VOD Service"

Beautiful, thanks.
Yes, I don't believe he knew what a level 2 rep was until I mentioned it.
If you ask her to check with her level 2 supervisor, like I did, they confirm that Ultraflix is a new Samsung app.
10:24am I was just told that the Ultraflix app is "already there" on Samsungs..
CEA on 4K TV"s this Holiday:
""The continued market growth of Ultra HD TV is performing better than initially projected in 2014," the CEA said when it updated its forecast for this year. Unit shipments of Ultra HD displays are expected to reach 800,000 in 2014, earning $1.9 billion in revenue, a 517 percent increase over the 2013 total. And it expects revenue from 4K sets to exceed $5 billion in 2015, up from virtually nothing in 2012."
