18 months? For the Vaccine maybe but not for the therapeutic. You do know it’s being looked at for both right? Separately. Two different studies done by two different labs.
Can a moderator please take down the 04/08/20 sticky. It is outdated and isn’t relevant to IPIX. This is not a Gilead board. Thank you!
As a shareholder did you go to IPIX’s website and actually read the report referenced in the PR?
They have antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties and are very inexpensive and very easy to make. They're safe, selective for bacterial cells, and don't harm mammalian cells. “Polymer derivatives of these compounds have been made, and we've shown that we can add them to paints, plastics and textiles to create products and surfaces that are intrinsically and permanently self-sterilizing by virtue of the material itself”.
Imagine the possibilities. Car interiors, hospital walls, clothing etc.
You originally said “the PR speaks for itself. No new data”. Seemed like new data to a lot of people. Especially those that actually go and read the report instead of just cherry-picking a PR. And that new data was released on the 12th. Yes real world studies matter most but this was valuable insight into Brilacidin’s possible MOA. I’m sure the other 11,000+ drugs that didn’t get these results from a computer model would have loved to get that kind of news. A.I. Worked well in Brilacidin’s creation back in 2005. So I’ll trust 15 years later of innovation with computer modeling and A.I. capabilities over some biochemist you know. Yes. We wait for real world results. That’s what matters. But until then any insight into B’s MOA is a good thing. Especially when it fast tracks Brilacidin over 11,000+ others. Add in the fact that Brilacidin has actually FDA safety data in multiple studies and we should now be in the top 10. None of us old school long timers invested in IPIX because of Co-vid. This is all bonus stuff. Just try to appreciate that fact. Of course we all want it done ASAP. But apparently that’s not how it’s playing out. So we wait. Why not make the wait enjoyable? Focus on the science and the positive aspects of Brilacidin. It’s a process.
The report about the 11,552 drugs looked at by A.I. came out April 12th.
Except the report came out a week ago. So how we could be told two weeks ago is impossible. I guess unless you’re a time traveling Doctor.
Thank you for the informative post. Should be a sticky at the top. Will one of the Moderators please post it and delete the one currently there? I read the pdf too this afternoon and I thought how It’s pretty awesome to see that a medicine created in 2005 on a supercomputer called Big Ben would get theoretically confirmation of one of it’s amazing MOA’s from another supercomputer. Brilacidin was meant for this moment. If it’s allowed to see the light of day it will save humanity and get the economy back up and running. IMHO.
Don’t get upset Mr. V. They ARE at work. Lol! FWIW I appreciate your efforts and enjoy your posts! Message boards are for sharing opinions, occasionally learning something new and speculative entertainment. All characters are welcomed. IMO.
What delay? The one in your own mind? How long does this activity that IPIX is involved in normally take? On average.
I missed the part that talked about the antiviral, anti inflammatory, immune modulating, antibiotic properties of their drug and it’s current testing in human lung cells.
Too long based on what? Perception? Lack of patience? Please Dr. tell us all how long this phase 2 part traditionally takes the RBL to do?
A phase 2 is to show the effectiveness of the drug. From OGEN’s PR it doesn’t sound like it was effective compared to the placebo. That bodes well for IPIX’s drug Brilacidin for OM. I’d imagine BP was waiting to see the results before they made an offer to IPIX on B for OM. At the time there wasn’t any rush to do a deal with IPIX. They could sit and wait to see OGEN’s results. Then the VID happened. Now their going have to pay up. IMO.
How much more is Brilacidin worth after this competitors news?
“Oragenics, Inc. (NYSE American: OGEN), a leader in the development of new antibiotics against infectious diseases and effective treatments for oral mucositis, announced today that early top-line results of the company’s Phase 2 clinical trial of AG013 in oral mucositis in chemoradiation in head and neck cancer patients did not demonstrate statistical significance on the primary endpoint of severe oral mucositis duration when compared to placebo”.
Some people asked why the price was up with no news. Do the math.
B for OM.
B for UP.
B for UC.
B for ABSSI.
B for the CoVID19, Covid20, 21 etc.
B for TBD?
Expect good news on phase II sometime next week. IMO.
Success in human cells. No more monkeying around.
Had a dream we did a deal with J&J.
Turn off the news and enjoy the long weekend!
I think there is plenty of safety data from not just the IV phase II study but also from the other multiple studies OM, UC, UP to warrant a phase III. With Brilacidin There has been no SAE’s in any of IPIX’s trials and the SAE from the old Poly days was only tingling in the hands. That was a dosage issue. All FDA approved trials. All documented. All Easily reviewed. Informing the next step. A speedy phase III study. Plenty of patients to test. Maybe even a phase 4 if the safety data is that compelling to the gov. I believe it is. Release the B and save humanity and the economy. IMHO.
Oh but media said earlier it was because Sanders dropped out. Lol! Now it’s Covid peak. Wonder what tomorrow will be. This is the FOMO rally. Set up for the fall. The wolf’s of wall street know human psychology. Getting ready for the next short. Just my opinion though. Don’t want to be right.
I don’t expect news on Brilacidin until next week.
Hahaa! Great post! It boggles the mind. But We know how the movie ended though! Stay the course! Have a blessed one MC!
So the long term bear during a historic bull market is now saying buy during a historic economic collapse? Ok. That’s someone you want to listen to. But I do agree on your last part. Brilacidin definitely is needed and has more than a chance. It’s the solution to the problem. IMO. And we are days away from news of moving to next phase. Again. Just an opinion.
You probably also believe we’ve reached a bottom too in the market. Wait till these next couple of Quarters come in. Ugly. Historic. Sobriety will return.
Dow is up because short positions have been covering. Let me guess you don’t believe people actually legitimately short the market.
Lol! With all do respect you are the last one to tell someone else that they’ve been chronically wrong. Did you forget to take your Flintstone vitamins this morning? I heard their more effective than Brilacidin. Btw I love the latest sticky! Some of your best work. You missed your calling as a comic writer. Keep them coming!
Haha! No worries. I understood what you were saying. But thanks for clarifying for our less astute posters. They might attack you. Or me. Or themselves. Or they’re imaginary friend. Or the Easter bunny. But never Brilacidin. They seem to never talk about it in all their many many posts. Wonder why?
I’ve always believed in the science behind Brilacidin. Took it on the chin when mako hit piece happened. Black swan event. What can you do. Like a world pandemic. Ironic another black swan event is what will finally give Brilacidin a chance to save lives and become what the science and “Big Ben” the UPENN supercomputer said it could be. I focus on the drugs not the dealer. Biotech investing takes time. Not for the impatient or uninformed.
You are seriously asking this question? Do some DD man. You’re unattached from basic research. How can you come on here and say the disparaging things you do about the company and it’s CEO and not know this basic information. Why should anyone listen to your uninformed opinion?
A Dr. Reported on fox that the reason he believes from the 100 plus patients he used it on their seeing some effect from Hydroxychloroquine is more from its anti inflammatory and immune modulating effects then it’s limited antiviral effects. Brilacidin is safer than this drug. And will prove IMO to be a more effective anti inflammatory, immune modulating and antiviral than Hydroxy. In addition Brilacidin’s antibiotic properties will also play a role in fighting this disease. It’s like it was discovered just for this virus. This is Brilacidin’s moment. Sleep good at night knowing you helped fund it all these years. All just an opinion of course.
Some huge 3 share and 10 share trades going off. Nothing to see here people. Just normal trading.
A minor leaguer praising a major. While those lawyers are at they need to go after that regional bio lab for their results. The nerve of them relying on science to dictate the value of a drug against Covid. They need to spend more time listening to anonymous posters on OTC message board to see if Brilacidin works or not.
Well dr. Tell us how Brilacidin’s other Medicinal attributes could help in the fight against the virus. Why are these not important along with its antiviral potential?
Nice! Progressing to phase 2!!
And what I love about the other news about interest from American and European healthcare providers is this is forcing Leo to get going on manufacturing instead of waiting till phase 2 is over. You know these healthcare providers in addition to reviewing the RBL data reviewed the vast amount of preclinical and clinical data for Brilacidin and saw the potential some of us DDers have known. This stuff works! Even if it showed zero antiviral activity it’s other MOA’s have a place in the fight against this virus.
Additionally people want compassionate use for Brilacidin to happen ASAP. Compassionate use happens because of healthcare providers and dr.’s awareness of the drug. We just got confirmation. Word is spreading...
The testing of Brilacidin was conducted by researchers at one of the U.S. Regional Biocontainment Laboratories (RBLs).
Those darn RBLs and their Pumping ways! Lol!!! Wow! They are so desperate. Coupled with So many 100 share trades the last couple of days. What does that mean again?
Thank you Karin! This misinformation is all they have left? A golden oldie I haven’t seen pulled out in years though. Playing the Classics.
Lol! That sticky was taken down fast so the creator of it could buy Flintstone futures before joe schmo gets in!
It was a let down. Apparently they decided They’re going to invest in Flintstone vitamins. I heard they’re the future of medicine in the fight against the VID.
Great post! Thanks for all the effort you put in. And everyone else who defends this game changing drug! B about to make history! K will follow right behind it! IMHO of course.
Lol! They are not his brothers! It’s criminal to have the same last name? Tell me more about Brilacidin? Your DD is so weak you are Unattached from reality!
Out in full force today. Never talking about the drugs just the dealer. Are they here to save investors? Who does that? Saints of the investor world? Lol! Or are they here to try and destroy a company that is going to save humanity IMO. B K combo is coming. Starts with B ends with the modulator of P53... do your homework on the drugs.
Lol!
It’s about Brilacidin! The drug that passed multiple FDA trials for multiple indications! Who cares about Leo? It’s out of his hands and now into the hands of Locust walk and the U.S. government. Let Leo go! Brilacidin is going to end this Pandemic IMO! Wait till people realize the power of the B K combo. Do your homework on the drugs not the dealers!
Geniuses and a Super computer created Brilacidin!
Just can’t seem to get out of this roundabout!
Look kids! Big Ben. Pandemic...
