DRILLBIT
Yeah, and the town's citizens are busy spreading thirty kinds of rumors as to how the sheriff will take out the bandits. But only the sheriff himself KNOWS.
Maheu (standing by tree): "Hey shortie. Over here. I'm your huckleberry."
LOL
ANYBODY SETTING DEADLINES
Anyone proclaiming that this MUST be the deadline without any type of disclaimer is just an idiot. To me, it seems we have 60 days from the Form 15 termination but I still don't labor under the misconception that there aren't a zillion loopholes, exceptions, issues, etc. with the SEC and its regulations. Our attorney will handle what needs to be handled, so ask yourself this: when has a deadline that shareholders have clamored about EVER been accurate? Do I even need to list the DOZENS of "missed" deadlines that someone somewhere decided to create? Good grief!!
MARCQ4 RE: THAT POST
I consider Peter the most egregious of hyperbole on Sterling's board. I understand that he wants people to stay positive but Urban could fart and Peter would be convinced it was a sign that "All is well". I still find it LAUGHABLE that anyone is claiming to know what Roger ACTUALLY did. There may in fact be much to thank Roger for but we know NOTHING. For all we know, Maheu took a look at Roger's efforts towards filing and said "It looks nice but now that I'm in charge I need to go with someone who I trust and believe in. I'm sure you understand." There are dozens of ways the whole Roger scenario may have played out and it is a HUGE indicator of who is drinking the kool-aid when anyone proclaims to know exactly what Roger did or accomplished. The PR sent Roger packing with a simple "thanks". That's all we know.
FUNNY TO ME
It's funny how suddenly every poster on RB has become an expert on what Roger has been doing for the last 9 months. I have counted no less than a dozen assurances that he has completed all the paperwork, kept the sec at bay and has handed off a fully reporting company to Stoecklein. LOLOL This is really funny to me since there hasn't been a single piece of information as to what Roger actually HAS done other than the "thanks" in last night's PR. Seems there are just as many people wondering if Maheu got tired of Roger dragging his heels or maybe Roger's plan just did not pan out. Trust is we don't know. Interesting though how suddenly it seems like tons of shareholders actually DO know what Roger did. LOL Wonder how their "evidence" of his performance would hold up in a court of law. LOL
MARCQ4
You could very well be 100% right but show me one iota of evidence as to anything Roger has done. I guess he structured three dividends for us -- one in a company still being investigated by the sec, one in a private company not trading, and one in a company that is restricted but pretty close to a worthless pps anyway. I too hope that we get to see this alleged dirty work that Roger has done but I am TIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRREEEEEEDDDDDDD of hints and winks and promises and being told that we are "closer than ever." I still contend that Maheu was the ONLY pr of any real substance since June. I honestly, seriously would rather know NOTHING than to get a pr that tells me nothing anyway.
I guess we do know our new attorney's name ... for what that's worth.
LOLLYBELLA
My guess too is that Roger may still be involved in some capacity. Maybe it's just with USCA. But after hyping Roger up in the PR back in June and Roger's quotes in other PRs, it's just odd that he departs with a mere "thanks". Hope your accumulation goes well. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I have no doubt that if it jumps back to .0005 or .001 that you'll be out again waiting for the next dip. LOL
ADDENDUM
I do want to note that it is very possible that Roger Glenn delivered to cmkx tremendous value for 9 months. Things that may indeed assist us in becoming a true empire. However, based on this PR, we are left not knowing what he has done, what he has accomplished, why he left and why a new team was brought on. Sure I can make assumptions but they could be positive or negative assumptions. We just don't know. It is THIS point that perturbs me about everything. When I read things that say not to expect filings soon because there's a lot ahead of us, it DOES make me say "well, then what the hell did roger hand off to our new attorney?????"
THE GOOD AND THE BAD
There's a few things to be excited about and a few to be disappointed about. Here's my straight-up view (as always) on today's PR:
The Good
1. Bob Maheu, in building Hughes' empire, must have had daily engagement with some of the most sophisticated lawyers on some of the most sophisticated deals. Thus, he likely knows stellar legal talent quite well. If Bob Maheu has selected this attorney, that's a positive in its own right.
2. Stoecklein has obvious sec experience, particularly I noticed with respect to short sales and regulatory compliance of naked shorting issues:
http://www.sec.gov/rules/proposed/s70204/dstoecklein03152004.htm
http://www.sandiego.com/sdbusiness.jsp?id=311
http://www.slgseclaw.com/
3. Maheu seems to be taking prompt action. We are moving forward. This is good. Although I believe very much in Roger Glenn and E&A, in 9 months we did not get a single sec filing from him. In 1 week, we're already on the sec map again at least.
4. I liked this line: "disclosing vital corporate information to the investing public and its stockholders." Yeah, no kidding. We have a lot of questions needing answers. At least they are acknowledging that this is a priority.
The bad
1. What the hell has Roger Glenn been doing for 9 months????? This PR offers me no explanation of Roger's departure and what he has done if anything.
2. I'm surprised that they have cautioned so aggressively about our expectations on financial filings. I would have thought by now they'd pretty much have everything ready to go, but after reading this PR, who the hell knows. My best interpretation is that they have 60 days to file. Will they meet this deadeline? Will they request an extension? Because they are correcting a deficiency (that is, 2 years ago information lead them to erroneously file the form 15), will the sec have any leeway in forcing the filings sooner (or be unwilling to grant any extensions). How much control does this give the sec over cmkx's future?
3. Stoecklein's "firm" is small and his academic credentials are mediocre (in all fairness, some very, very bright lawyers come from very mediocre law schools, but at least on paper, I'd have to rate his credentials fairly middle-of-the-road). Plus, he was involved in many otc companies at an officer/director level, and that makes me somewhat nervous. It's hard to really judge him as a lawyer based on what's available, but there is certainly nothing that jumps out at me as Glenn's status at a firm like E&A did.
I'll stay focused on the positives, but kudos to cmkx for telling us nothing new and leaving us once again with just as many questions raised as answered. They have never let me down on that count. LOL All this PR was was a "we are moving forward" rah rah since it gave us no details on timelines, roger's involvement (or lack thereof) and what to expect (or when).
I eagerly await the day when cmkx puts out a PR that I can react to with "Ah, a question about cmkx has finally been answered with concrete information that is useful to me as an investor." I thought as of the filing this morning that things looked on track for something in the next 60 days. Based on the language of this PR, who the hell knows. Whereas I thought General Maheu was finally moving the troops, it looks as if they just moved a mile closer but are parking themselves again.
We'll see. Perhaps information will start flowing in a more realistic, concrete mannner from here on out. CMKX has beaten me into submission when it comes to not raising my hopes up though for anything useful.
MY INTERPRETATION
One thing I hate is to ever set deadlines/timelines with this stock because god knows they've NEVER been right so far. But according to the SEC rule below, to the best of my ability, it sure seems like now that their original form 15 has been terminated, cmkx has 60 days to file EVERY document that would have been required since July 2003 to remain fully reporting. I can only guess that Roger has been working the last 9 months to have every detail of every transaction on every level fully audited and compliant for filing. If all goes as I'm guessing, we should have a full map of everything that has transpired for cmkx since July 2003. But I'm not a securities attorney and this is just my guess. It sure seems like this is setting the ball rolling, so maybe Maheu was correct in the plan moving forward as of the PR last Friday.
http://www.law.uc.edu/CCL/34ActRls/rule12g-4.html
If this is the correct interpretation, we will know share structure, OS, all deals, everything material about this company by mid-April. Of course, the catch is they have UP TO 60 days, i.e., it could be filed between today and mid-April. I sure would like it if it were closer to today. No matter what, it does seem to mean that we are a step closer to finding out what the hell has been going on for so long. Am I excited? Yes. IMO we are closer to getting some answers. I will certainly be curious to see the arguments bashers will be making. My guess is their figurehead is collecting the basher troops as we speak and dictating strategy on which arguments may most instill fear in shareholders. Should be interesting.
General Maheu is advancing the troops finally. Now it gets interesting.
MARKET IS PICKING UP ON US
Kensington and Cameco are partnes with DeBeers on their FALC property. You already know the story on Shore. Check this out.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=3m&s=KRT.V&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=ccj%2C+sgf.to
The market is starting to get the hint. My guess is we are in the last stages of accumulation by market muggers and funds before this area goes full throttle. And we're still at .0001 x .0002? LOL It's going to be a VERY interesting 2005 imo.
RE: LEE WEBB
It would be one thing if a journalist of high repute were to trash Maheu, but it's quite another when a cockroach that hangs out in the vile sewage of yellow journalism called StockBotch decides to comment. My guess is Mr. Maheu said "so what". My only disappointment is that Webb stuck to general statements regarding Maheu's life that are widely available. I really wish Webb might have found something that truly pissed off Mr. Maheu, but then again he is a cockroach, and Mr. Maheu probably wouldn't pay him much mind anyway. If anyone truly listens to anything out of StockBotch imo, they get what they deserve. As the old saying goes, if a tree falls in a forest but nobody's there to hear it, did it make a sound?
Was that something I heard or just a cockroach scrambling back under the walls?
RE: DISCLAIMERS
Disclaimers are exactly that -- covery your azz statements. These happen to be more specific than what we've seen before but every attorney is different in what they feel is enough CYA language. If you read the google IPO disclaimers, you would have thought they were about to go bankrupt. LOL An investor can choose to be fearful of them or not but attorneys will never stop placing them in PR's or prospectuses because truly anything CAN happen.
WHAT I KNOW ABOUT ROGER
The only thing I can say with 100% confidence about the Roger situation is that by now, his secretary is PISSED at the flood of phone calls. LOL I refuse to make any assumptions on anything with respect to Roger until a firm source is verified repeatedly either through a PR or through Andy (and not through someone's interpretation of Andy).
AN HONEST WISH
I really, really, really wish that the sec or someone pursues raggs both criminally and civilly (although he's probably bankrupt) for the complete and utter lies and fraud that he spreads on a regular basis on RB imo. Now he is busy spreading a completely unproven and baseless rumor about some merger between cmkx and eqlff. Well Raggs, here's some fun information in the link below. And I sincerely hope your assets are frozen, you're pursued criminally and that you must disgorge any and all profits ever seen on cmkx stock. What a complete POS pumper.

PROSPECTOR RE: URBAN/TOPO
It is Topo. Next season will be a new reality show called "The Boob" where 16 contestants are chosen to try to outpromote, outhype and outmarket the master himself, UC. The winner gets dividends in a new company called Casvant Reality Programming (CRP:Pink). LOL
LMAO AT THIS ONE
Boy oh boy, cmkx creates some of the funniest behavior in stock market history. Janice Shell, SEC and others, crank up your investigation powers on THIS one. Here's a rope-a-dope that "hinted" at a connection to cmkx, in all likelihood to pump his own pathetic pink to new heights.
http://cmkxdiamond.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&num=1108345988
And here's the kicker. RAGGS BOUGHT INTO IT HOOK, LINE AND STINKER!!!! LOLOLOLOL
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=CMKX&read=789934
THIS IS TOO MUCH
http://cmkxdiamond.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&num=1108336319
My understanding is that "The Trader" is Topo. Urban and his marketing machine strike again. I hope Iron Bob shoves his fist down Urban's layrnx and rips out his vocal chords. I am sooooooo tired of the BS surrounding cmkx with all of Urban's hypermarketing activity. The only positive I see on this is the possibility that maybe as part of the reality show, they could tape the sequence where the sec bursts into topo's apartment and seizes all of his computer files, trading records and personal assets. LOL Now THAT would be worth watching.
GUMP BUDDY
You're a crotchety, wiley fellow. But at some level, you and I connect on our views. I'm in agreement. It's about frickin' time Urban put a disciplinarian in place to correct the junior high mentality of Urban and his cohorts. I can only imagine Iron Bob sitting down for the first time and getting briefed on everything, including Urban's "game plan". It probably felt somethin akin to watching "Dr. Strangelove". LOL
AGREED DRILLBIT
If there is one person in this entire COUNTRY that understands the value of silence, surprise and flying under the radar until the precise, necessary moment, it would be Maheu. My guess is that he probably bitchslapped Urban and is currently hunting down Topo. LOL Frankly, I've had enough secrecy with this stock, but if it's necessary for a few more weeks to drop the A-bomb, I'm all for it.
READ THIS POST OVER AND OVER
This is by far and away one of the most logical, important posts in awhile.
http://cmkxdiamond.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&num=1108188693
One can hope and pray that we get "big news" in the next week or so. However, I'm prepared to wait and give it the full 2005. It just might take that much. In the end, I believe it will be well worth it, but I also believe that the shorts will make sure that anyone left holding and making money on this will have earned it with every ounce of blood, sweat and tears. This is a war of attrition imo. I think we'll win it but not without massive casualties. I hope it's this week that we "win" but I'll be here to the bitter end or sweet end (hoping for the latter).
YEAH, WHAT HE SAID!!!!
Damn fine post from that poster!!! What I've been saying but not as well as in that post!!!
SCHMED
I like and agree with your interpretation. Unfortunately, we just don't know anything as a fact any more and this PR didn't help us in that regard. So we are left guessing -- my main beef. But if I were a guessing man, I'd guess you were right. LOL I like the fact that cmkx is getting some muscle of its own -- between Maheu and a gaggle of attorneys, yeah, I'd say the sheriff is in town. Unfortunately, just like everything else with cmkx, we have no idea what that means time-wise, action-wise and pps-wise. Still, I feel a bit better only in the sense that Maheu is a very respected man and HE seems to be in charge and not Urban. And you know ... if Maheu has to use some muscle to make things happen, I'm all in favor of it. It's not like the shorts haven't bullied retail investors around for, oh, the last decade to the tune of trillions of dollars. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
ADDENDUM
Because I know my words will be misconstrued and worked over (and thanks to Janice Shell's use of the word "tacit" right after I used it, inevitably I will be linked to that vile stench of a basher) ... because of all that, let me state my position clearly:
Thank you Urban for acquiring the property you did. Thank you Urban for selecting Roger and Maheu. Thanks to THOSE decisions, I believe we will win. But I think you would be a HORRIBLE president as you are so full of promotional bluster that the financial community could never take you seriously. So thank you again, for recognizing that you would not serve us well as President and someone else needs to step into that position. Not all of Urban's decisions have been boobish, but many, many, many have.
There. Go ahead and let'er rip. LOL
THINGS I LIKED FROM TODAY'S PR
Because many said I'm spoiled and have nothing good to say, here are my positive on today's PR.
"Cmkm Diamonds Inc. today announced a corporate strategy plan designed to dramatically and comprehensively transform CMKX's internal corporate governance."
TRANSLATION: Corporate governance prior to today sucked, i.e., Urban is a boob when it comes to managing a company properly.
"Tough assignments are not solved by wishful thinking, but rather by tough action."
TRANSLATION: Urban is a boob who has overpromoted and raised expectations to the level of wishful thinking. It is time for someone to step in, stop promoting, and start actually DOING something.
"Maheu has also instructed management that regular reports to stockholders and the financial community are imperative."
TRANSLATION: Urban, the boob, in the past has promoted his company at racing events while generally delivering any real information poorly through formal channels. Now that the races are about to begin, that crap just can't happen again.
"Today, CMKX is embarking on an aggressive, strategic plan that is intended to transform the entire corporation into a tightly focused mining and development company."
TRANSLATION: I, Urban, in all my boobishness, got so caught up in the marketing of my stock, that I forgot this is about mining. Let's get back to basics.
"We shall be recruiting a team of experienced advisors, professionals and management executives."
TRANSLATION: The management beforehand sucked, namely me Urban. Perhaps now that someone that doesn't screw around is taking charge, we might actually accomplish something.
As I've said, Maheu was a great move. As was Roger. Because imo (as if you don't know this) Urban is a boob when it comes to management. He may be the nicest person in the world, but he's a hot air balloon when it comes to his promoter's mentality. This PR was good imo only in the sense that perhaps Maheu can effectively take the reigns from Urban and avoid all the BS like Vegas parties, visa cards and kia spectras. I look forward to who they select as President. The more it is a no-nonsense, get crap done, straight shooter-type, the better. I think today's PR was a tacit acknowledgement that cmkx needs much, much, much sharper management -- as I've been saying ALL ALONG.
HAHAHAHAH THIS IS FUNNY RE: LEE WEBB
Lee Webb's newest hatchet job is up at StockBotch (www.stockwatch.com). If anyone can actually wade through that thick muck of festering journalistic disrepute, they will find this hysterical sentence at the end:
"Stockwatch will examine some of the recent developments including the appointment of Mr. Maheu and CMKM's new corporate strategy in future articles."
Looks like someone knows that pissing off Mr. Maheu would not be in their best interest. LOL
TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN
This from another board:
"If it's so positive then not only shareholders, but everyone else will know it just by reading it. I just don't see the substance to make it so obviously positive."
God, that's so true. We'll be able to call a PR "great" when everyone unequivocally can say "that's great news". When everyone is saying "here's my interpretation on how this could be great" ... it is not great.
QUIT MISINTERPRETING ME
We have heard for 8 months to be patient, that big things are happening, that problems are being resolved. All I am saying is that this PR has given us nothing specific and, perfect evidence of this is the fact that now you have dozens of theorists all trying to interpret this PR. Well, that's exactly what is so frustrating, that every PR does NOT answer anything other than to give some small "hint" of things to come. I'm as long and as patient as anyone here, but quit frying me for simply saying the truth -- I don't know anything more about what cmkx is doing now than I did 5 hours ago.
Here is point-by-point proof:
1. Maheu is on-board and means business -- COUNTERPOINT: Was he brought on-board to snooze????
2. CMKX plans to go to the otcbb or another exchange -- COUNTERPOINT: Hasn't that been the plan from the start? We've been talking about a higher exchange since June.
3. We have new attornies to address issues -- COUNTERPOINT: Okie dokie, but I thought Roger was addressing these issues as it was. I'm glad we have new attornies but I thought we already had good legal counsel.
4. Maheu has instructed management to communicate -- COUNTERPOINT: WELL DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! We've been waiting for ANY kind of meaningful communication for 8 months (many for much longer). Kind of ironic that this piece of "news" comes with a PR that communicates nothing but what we already know or can guess.
CMKX -- MASTERS OF ENIGMA
Well, once again, cmkx has handed us a PR that raises far more questions than it answers. In fact, it answers absolutely nothing except that Maheu is on board, we are moving forward, and the company intends to bring value to shareholders -- all things I was under the impression we had been doing for 8 months now with Roger. So, um, what exactly did this PR do? And please, NO MORE of the "warning shots to MMs" BS. If you go by that theory, this is warning shot number 47.
It would be nice if the new PR addressed in detail any one of the following items:
1. Who our new team of attorneys is?
2. Is Roger still on board?
3. What timeframe can we expect to know more about these next steps?
4. What actual information can we expect to find out?
5. Is there anything new besides the new attorneys that is creating this "shift"?
6. Does any of this relate to a filing (either already filed, ready to be filed, or to be filed in the future)?
As I said, CMKX is the master of delivering "news" to shareholders that only muddies the water. The PR seems positive and I suppose we can guess that this means "more news" will be forthcoming, but overall I don't have a freakin' clue as to how this makes anything different than what I knew about 5 hours ago.
The world's longest investment foreplay continues to tease but not please.
LOLLYBELLA
TZOO was a completely different species. There is a long, colorful history behind TZOO that makes it stand out from the hundreds (thousands?) of other shorted otcs. TZOO was well into a short squeeze already when SHO went into effect. As for GTEL, it may be the one company that has had a reaction ... then again, it may simply be the MMs having gone long on it. You're right, it's all a big game and only the shorts truly know the rules.
EXACTLY AS I WAS SAYING
Thanks for the article Ignutz. As I said (and was chided for), SHO is little more than window dressing. imo it was a deal for shorters. shorts will have to eventually cover but they will have a very long time to do so imo. i believe the SEC will come out with new revisions to SHO later this year or next year after they've "accumulated data" and then we'll see the next round. Each round will get a little bit tighter imo and force a little more covering, but the end result will be the shorts will have years and years to probably correct the naked shorting, and they'll be able to do so without ever having lost much money imo. sad, but that's the way it will go imo. at the very least, I do believe that 5 years out from now, naked shorting will be a much, much, much more difficult task for shorts and hedge funds and retail investors will get fleeced a little less overall than they do today.
The bottom line is the whole thing is just disgusting but that's life. SHO is BS imo and i think Roger probably knows that too and has coordinated around it.
AN IMPORTANT LESSON
I think Faithnomore's post on MLON on the RB cmkx board is a real eye-opener for some people. He posted awhile ago that he attended a MLON conference with Mario Pino and walked away feeling it was a total scam. Well, faithnomore was attacked, vilified, insulted and chewed up. 2 months later, the SEC forces MLON to retract just about everything they PR'ed.
My point? Some people seem to be clinging so blindly to their investment, that their logic has evaporated. CMKX still is a worthwhile investment to me, but please be REAL about each piece of information. Attack me if you must about my opinion re: Mr. Williams but I simply am using common sense in questioning why I should be impressed at him being on our board. And to those that say "well fine, then why don't you just shut up" my repsonse is "because maybe at some level, urban picked this guy because of his promotional side and I still think urban has a lot to learn about this part of business, and I don't like that side of things. maybe, just maybe, if a few vocal people point this out, he may steer more towards individuals with investment community respect rather than those that he connects with on a hyperpromotional level".
All just my opinion. Keep it real folks.
ADDENDUM
And hopefully people haven't absorbed so much kool aid that they can't tell that my opinions are honest evaluations and not bashing. I think Mayheu is a tremendous resource. I think Williams might be a tremendous resource for entertainment connections but I just haven't yet seen anyone show me anything as to why he is sitting on the BOD of a mining company. And this alleged Cassandra Energy Process as part of a gas deal under a broadband is absolutely LUDICROUS to pin hopes on. (or is that Ludakris? sorry, couldn't resist). Anyway, I'm not bashing. I'm just wondering why I should be excited about Williams and as of yet, nobody can offer anything substantial.
GRASPING AT STRAWS BREICHLE
my 69z had some good info the other day but this info imo is not impressive. i don't know how it relates to peter but then again who cares.
There is no mention of Williams' connection to that deal in the cmkx PR. My guess is that that's for a good reason. Ask Drillbit or others well-versed in oil & gas as to whether this particular deal is as impressive as some might have you believe. Why is an entertainment guy dealing in oil and gas? Why is a broadband company dealing in oil and gas? My past experience tells me that such "diversified" portfolios in otcbb companies usually have a pretty foul stench. It could all be wonderful for all I know, but on the surface, it is NOT impressive to me to say that our new BOD is president of a broadband company that owns some gas property, especially when they start bringing out that old "new technology process" crap which, in my experience, means a pumpjob. Not to mention, cmkx is about diamonds unless you want to drink more of peter's kool-aid which would "hint" that maybe oil/gas is involved. I know, I know, I need to be positive and a team player and not assume that oil/gas is out of the question even though the company has offered zero evidence of such ... but then again I prefer to actually use my brain and logic rather than check it at the door. LOL
PS: I appreciate 69z's effort on this. The above, however, is just my honest assessment on it.
HUSTLER RE: HOSTILE TAKEOVER
It is interesting that NMCX released a PR re: poison pill provisions to protect against a hostile takeover, a pretty good indication that NMCX's sour pps over the last month may have been manipulated/orchestrated. That and the anti-takeover provisions by both Shore Gold and Kensington Resources lend a lot of credence to the theory that, at least as of late, there seems to be some growing concern over juniors being taken over that show some promise.
One thing I have seen from Urban is that he easily trusts people. IMO way too much. And I am starting to wonder if this whole affair occurred because he trusted someone into the "inner circle" who either was a mole from a hostile interest or was just an ass who has turned against Urban and either wanted to take him down or sell him out to a hostile interest. Given Urban's trust in Melvin and Topo and his freewheeling milling about among shareholders during last race season, I think it's easy to see that he can trust quickly, much to his detriment. The good news is that, despite being a boob about many things, he at least had enough intelligence to see that he needed more legitimate guidance, and got Roger involved.
But I personally believe that some of his bad decision-making may have created a situation where hostile interests believed he could be preyed upon. I do trust that by now, all outside interests have been shut out or negotiated out (although I still just don't get Topo's involvement). Everyone likes to claim that Urban is genuine and sincere and supports shareholders, but business is business and Urban's most sincere gesture now would be to continue keeping quiet, keep all outsiders out of the loop and behave like a professional, responsible Co-Chairman of what could be a major mining force in the industry. That doesn't mean he has to leave his friendly personality behind. It just means he must step up and accept the responsibility of being in the investment community's spotlight, which means you can no longer go around trusting freely or overpromoting.
So yes, I do believe there were hostile interests. Urban may have even let them in the back door before realizing what they were up to. All I TRULY know though is that I hope to hell there is a book about cmkx one day so that I can finally get some answers as to just what the hell has been going on all this time.
OH NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Peter, the kool-aid dispenser, says I'm not a "team player" and thus am an egotist. Because I haven't consumed the kool-aid and refuse to see every detail like visa cards, kia spectras and snoop doggy dogg as huge positives that advance the company, I must not be a team player. LOL
Is this guy for real? I see my posts are "recommended" when they are positive, but when I question ANYTHING, suddenly I'm not a team player. Well, guess what, SINCE WHEN DID INVESTING INVOLVE TEAMWORK WITH YOUR FELLOW SHAREHOLDERS????????? Sorry Peter, but there is no teamwork here. Everyone is at Roger and Urban's mercy and the decision is an INDIVIDUAL one as to whether to hold or not. If you feel it necessary to huddle together with fellow shareholders just to share body warmth, then that's freakin' pathetic. Just because I have a few comments that don't sing the praises of every cmkx action doesn't make me Satan. I'm still holding and I'm still believing but I don't need liquor, drugs, glue, or lithium to continue to do so. I just need reason, logic and the decision that the risk is worth the potential reward. It's really just not more complicated than that.
Yes, Peter, you've been consistent. Consistent proselytizing. For those that don't follow your cult-like words, they are branded liars and cowards. Now THAT'S the way an investment should be. NOT. But hey, at least you are correct about one thing -- you're consistent.
"Hey Kool Aid!!!!" (crashes through wall)
I JUST WANT TO SAY
I just wanted to say that as much as I hope Urban goes after several bashers if cmkx succeeds and advances to the next level, I also hope that he will:
a) pursue Raggs on RB both criminally and civilly; and
b) disassociate himself from Topo
I consider both these characters to be very harmful to cmkx's interests. Raggs is a pumper that puts false information into the market imo as if it's true. He has proven over and over again that he does not know what is happening and yet every two weeks he appears with new "information" that supposedly only he knows and tries to whip up everyone into a frenzy. His latest is this whole Aztec Mining BS. Anyway, imo what he is doing constitutes fraud and placing fraudulent information into the market. His only saving grace is that he's probably an unemployed basketcase living with his parents and the SEC just doesn't have the manpower to enforce actions against a sad sap such as him. He is truly pathetic and I hope he is pursued legally for claiming (dozens of times) to have information that he clearly does not have.
Topo, however, concerns me far more. He has proven that he does NOT understand what constitutes inside information after his last "guess" that we would be happy last monday when the Maheu PR came out. Obviously, with pics of him in Ecuador, he has worked his way into Urban's inner camp, but with that comes a responsibility he has proven he cannot abide by. He is a loudmouth tout (see his RB posts on Aztec Mining) who also doesn't seem to have a clue about anything. His only saving grace is that he has been wrong about 29 out of 30 times and at least doesn't pump as MUCH as he used to. But the fact that he still appears on these boards at all and still pumps is of grave concern to me since when we advance to the next level if we do, he is the LAST person I want receiving any sensitive information. I hope Urban finally sees the light and puts a complete gag on all information to Topo. The guy seriously bothers me after seeing his pictures in Ecuador.
Neither Raggs or Topo deserve to profit a penny from cmkx. I hope somehow that their assets are frozen and that they must disgorge any future cmkx profits. Just my opinion.
I AGREE ON WILLIAMS/MAHEU
I saw too that it was done at some level under Maheu's direction, but my issue is that when shareholders are starving for information, sending them information that makes NO sense whatsoever does more harm than good. I would just assume not have known about Williams. If he's there for a reason, then so be it, but don't put that out when you can't give me a reason. It just goes hand in hand with everything Urban has done which is to promote, promote, promote without every really giving us anything tangible. I'm sure Urban thought his adoring throngs would appreciate this "gift" of a PR and that they'd be whipped up in a frenzy by hearing Snoop's name announced. What Urban apparently still doesn't know is that he's been pissing off shareholders for 6 months by doing this circus crap where we get some kind of spectacle but no substance.
Maheu was the only meaty PR since the Glenn PR back in June. Even the dividends have dropped off in importance as it doesn't seem they will ever achieve any real valuation until cmkx does as well.
69CHARGER, THANK YOU
Good info. Maheu is far more important than any basher will concede. I was impressed as hell when he joined and still am. Mr. Williams was not a good follow-up imo but Maheu was outstanding. Hopefully the rest of the BOD shapes up nicely to cover all aspects of future mining. Right now, we've got a super-spook and a man who knows snoop. Don't ever let it be said that cmkx was anything but the most entertaining investment ever constructed. LOL
PRETTY INTERESTING RE: MAHEU
This info thanks to my69z from RB. I just don't believe a guy like Maheu would ever join a company about to go down or be taken down by the sec. he's way too savvy, would never jeopardize a lifetime of surreal achievement and certainly is iconic enough to pick and choose what he would want to be involved in. This info below is an indicator of just how unreal his operational capabilities extend (and enough of the 87 years old BS - we just need this guy sharp for another 3 years and that should be plenty of time for him to assist CMKX in ways we probably will never hear about):
Maheu stopped Onassis from monoplozing Saudi oil...Scroll to pg.70
In the 1954-55 time period Maheu was hired by the Greek shipping magnate, Niarchos, to help in a financial tussle Niarchos was having with another Greek shipping figure, Onassis, who had managed to negotiate a pact with King Saud under which Onassis would control 90% of all Saudi Arabian oil shipments. British, American, and German shipping interests opposed Onassis' near monopoly, and the US and UK governments supported Niarchos in his fight to have the agreement

canceled. Maheu is believed to have worked at top levels in both the British and American governments, reportedly meeting at least once with Vice President Nixon. Maheu's operations were financed by Niarchos, but CIA became involved in supporting them by request of the Department of State. Agency communications and pouch facilities were made available to Maheu, and he was given help in developing a black propaganda campaign against Onassis. Niarchos, with Maheu's help, won his scrap with Onassis.

That's just freakin' unbelievable. Someone trumpeting Urban's brilliance because he brought .... yes ... ANOTHER promoter on board. Yep, that's what cmkx needs right now and that's what shareholders want to hear ... that we have another promoter to help market a product that we have NO FREAKIN' IDEA ABOUT.
LOLOLOLOLOLOL Can this actually be real? Do people really listen to this guy? I absolutely LOVE this quote from his post: "Hyping one's product through proper advertising and endorsements." Oh man, if that doesn't say it all. Celebrating Mr. Williams' appointment because now we can REALLY ramp up the hype machine. This is so absurdly laughable, I'm almost speechless.
Bottom line to me: I sure hope there are more relevant board members forthcoming because if this is a preview, we're in trouble. Maheu was a solid selection. Selection #2 is outright laughable imo (Mr. Williams may be a WONDERFUL choice for entertainment companies but for a freakin' mining company??????)
