MMRF Facebook Disclosure about Walgreens
Update: MyMedicalRecords Litigation With Walgreens
Walgreens filed an answer to MMR's complaint for patent infringement today . The parties had twice extended Walgreens’ deadline to respond in order to facilitate settlement discussions. As a result of those extensions, the Court ordered deadline for Walgreens to respond ended today. It is also important to note that Walgreens did not file a counterclaim or a motion to dismiss.
Throughout the last 3 months the parties have discussed and will continue to discuss a resolution of this matter. Everyone remained at the table until Court imposed requirements took us to the next chapter and we do not believe that the filing of the answer by Walgreens will end the efforts of both companies to seek a resolution.
Based upon the potential of the amounts of the damages at issue, the Company did not expect the matter to resolve immediately. In the litigation, MMR will be seeking substantial royalties from Walgreens and plans to vigorously pursue the litigation as necessary. That said, the Company will also continue to pursue business relationships and licensing agreements with other retail pharmacies while we continue efforts to work with Walgreens to find a mutually beneficial resolution to this litigation. Now why would you say that?
Walgreens filed an answer, that means nothing.
Now why would you say that?
Walgreens filed an answer, that means nothing.
yes that means negotiations broke down, or the clock just ran out and they are still in discussions.
Either way there won't be any news to act on for Monday.
Look at this rate it will be a 15 cent stock this time next week!!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Pacer links are no help to most of us, can you summarize what the filing said?
Because they all know something we don't would be my educated guess!
It was no surprise vendors/lawyers etc took stock at 4 cents, they almost tripled their value today.
This is a 50 cent play all day long I believe.
Here comes the Day Traders! Will briefly touch 13 today in my opinion!
My team goes to WEDI, I do not.
See you at HIMSS and Epic UGM
They were not sued over anything to do with HL7
What don't you understand?
If you publish a patient portal via the web you are fair game.
Your premise (which is wrong) is that HL7 is a key factor in determining the validity of the patent and who gets sued.
Your premise is 100% wrong.
Lend me $70k? :)
This group here on InvHub? Do you think the folks here have cornered the market on MMRF?
Its a big world my friend, I owned MMRF for 4 months before I found this place and I am sure there are hundreds more who own MMRF that don't know / don't care about InvHub
Which patents are you referring to that are looking to be overturned?
Sounds like you are referring to anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody patents as opposed to the s Personal Health Records patent.
Which are you referring to?
That would be a long process....
You may challenge the validity of a patent by submitting evidence of prior invention, prior art or prior publication to the USPTO. The office will conduct a reexamination of the patent and will invalidate it if it concludes that it would never had issued the patent in the first place had it known of the information you provided. If you disagree with the decision, you may appeal to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. To appeal, however, you must demonstrate that you have legal standing to file a lawsuit against the USPTO. To have legal standing means that your interests stand to be affected by the decision; for example, if you are seeking to market the patented technology and someone else owns the patent, then you probably have legal standing.
yes I have had that problem for months!!
My solution is BEFORE clicking submit, copy your message into your paste buffer because 7 out of 10 times it will bomb!
Well I am in at 0.025 and I am as happy as a clam!
Sorry what is OLMP???
Being bought would be my hope.
Thats just wishful thinking until we see something more concrete
An Aquistion perhaps would make sense
That is what I am thinking!!!
Too much too fast!!
No discussion on this???
Finishing flat is fine too.
Its been a good week so far.
yes can't wait for the BIG NEWS
Yes I would hope they would exceed that,
Here is the question, based on the timeline of PRs and other data we have, what would create revenue in the 1st quarter? What deals were closed by the end of March that could be making $$$?
if revenue exceeds $150k I would be surprised.
And for those who will throw that in my face in a few weeks when the number is twice that, as I have said in the past, I am HAPPY to be wrong.
In my opinion 1st qtr revenue will be slim to none.
Visionary HA!
Wow are we getting carried away.
I reserve the word visionary for folks that earn it.
Bob has never done anything or created anything that was visionary.
He got his money from pre-paid phone cards.
His wife is a former porn star. (yes Google it)
Sometimes being in the right place at the right time makes you rich, but doesn't make you a visionary.
Wozniak, Jobs, Gates are visionaries.
Yes it was clearly a joke, unless it reverse split a half dozen times 50 cents is as high as this stock will ever go and even that would be a stretch!
I don't care what you say, when it hits 5 bucks I am OUT!
BAH!
No matter how you slice it, the 2nd quarter of 2013 has to be a winner. IMO
You need a revenue stream (settlements & License fees) to fund a sales force.
The problem is that trying to sell MMR to the public is going to be impossible, it has to be sold through the Healthcare vertical market channel as a "bolt on" product to something else.
Otherwise the revenue stream will be bone dry by the end of this year.
Can you elaborate, because the action makes no sense to me.
Yes and sadly he has a lot of shares already so it's anyones guess on why he decided to pluck down $4k to increase his holdings by probably less than a percent.
The hope is he is sending a message and nothing else because if he is acting on insider knowledge that is also a concern.
Clearly they both believe its in there best interest to talk a little more and perhaps hammer out a deal.
May 5th being their mutually agreed deadline to get it done.
MMRF won't likely show this card, but once a major player like Walgreens settles (regardless for what cost as long as no one discloses the number) the others are likely to follow suit and save their legal war chests for something worth fighting.
HAPPY TO BE WRONG!!!
You know if the people bailing were expecting some ground breaking news for the end of 2012 they probably had no clue.
I did predict 0.015 on April 1st (I assumed they would 10K on Last business day of March) so my prediction may come true after all.
If the 1st Quarter numbers don't look any better than I may be bailing in 45 days, but for now I am long
This is a good sign, they are finally acknowledging that the clock is ticking on MU Stage 2 (MU2) and once the incentives for the docs/providers.
Time is not on anyones side on this issues.
MMRF should be unleashing an army of commissioned sales reps on this yesterday!!
10-K on April Fools day...... (SIGH)
Link please
How about someone with 20+ years of IT Healthcare experience?
Hmmmm if we only knew someone.....
Happy to help!!
Hope we all get rich together!!
