Larry - let me know when I can wake up out of my market funk slumber please.
Capitulation? I don't think we are there yet. This is one of the ugliest markets i've seen.
SSKILLZ1 - Agree - great post. I'm curious how much downside is left before the markets kind of stabilize. It's a little more comforting when you see some of the big value guys getting more aggressive with their purchases.
FTCO - Ok, you guys scared me too. I decided to get out as well. It was fun collecting the dividends. Would have been nicer to get out at 8. I'm also wishing I sold my entire CMCL at 18, instead of just half.
MXC - I haven't sold any yet. Wish I dumped some in the 19s before. However, I think if oil spikes again this one will have another big run in it. Potentially higher than before.
NFLX - I saw a really good chart on this the other day:

You sell any MXC yet? I feel like it could run more.
CMCL - Still in, haven't sold any. Cost basis is $11.66. Thinking of trimming a few here but gold is still looking strong. No reason to think this can't be $20+ again. Don't want to be greedy, though.
researcher - What's your gut tell you about market direction the next few months? I've gone ultra conservative in my 401k accounts over the past few months anticipating a pullback.
QDLC buyout/merger at around $2. Congrats to all of you still holding.
FF - Sold my position today, flipped from last week.
VASO - I bought some as well. Looks cheap.
PGNT (KiK) - I have been in this for years and will be waiting for the day it realized its true value.
FF - Added back today in the 9.50s. Stock has been red hot but with energy prices still trending up I like this one in the short-term.
FF - Sold the rest of my shares today at close to 10. Trying to lock in gains and getting some dry powder ready if some other opportunities show up. Thanks for bringing that one to the board.
FF - Nice movement. I'm still in this one from $9. You gotta think it will have legs over $10 again.
CCOM - I've been holding this also since a buck. Nice to see this deal come through.
Which ones?
Good point - I actually sold the rest of mine yesterday. Couldn't pass it up and have to play the percentages, as you say.
SGMA - Wonder why it's selling off today.
AESE - I added a bit more also. Let's see what they do with this one.
MXC - what are you guys bidding on this? I've been looking for an entry.
I'll second that flyer on FF ($9.00) - let's see what she's got for tomorrow.
hweb - You going to buy a bucket of those? Thanks for the info - looking at them closely.
researcher (BABA) - I guess better to wait until it breaks out of that downtrend channel before thinking to buy.
BABA - Anyone like this here? I know there's a lot of uncertainty and fear out there, but this is getting ridiculous. I'm thinking about starting a core position here and buying more on any additional weakness.
Anyone adding SGMA ahead of earnings? Looked ripe there in the 7s.
MULN - I almost bought some of this when it was closer to $.50 a couple weeks ago. It has been in a nosedive but had a huge gain the other day. Perhaps I should dip my toes into options a little bit more. Seems like you do pretty well with it overall.
FTCO - Anyone still holding this? I was adding more in the 6.20s a couple weeks ago. It's been moving up nicely today. $.75 net income for 2021 and $40 million cash with no debt. Nice divvy.
Their total cash cost for gold was only $587 in 2021.
Best of luck to you - I already sold half of mine at $27 today and will be holding the rest for what I would expect to be $30 in the next couple of months.
If the stock market was purely based on PE ratios, valuation and logic, we'd all be millionaires.
Hope you took that opportunity to cover. To answer your previous question - I don't really care about JWN's PE and their relation to the valuation on Macy's. The bottom line is that their numbers were great, forward guidance is good and their stock was beaten down big time. Nordstrom has been around for a long time and has done very well. I really don't understand your logic in shorting it after such a good report.
hweb (JWN) - Thanks! This one was beaten down way too much. I was adding all over the place in the low 20s.
You're shorting JWN? LOL...good luck with that.
JWN - Nice earnings. Wish I had added more sub-20 today.
(MINM) - It probably didn't like the part about 'Q4 FY21 saw a material reduction in retail performance. This was driven by in-quarter reductions in retail orders that resulted from holiday orders being pulled in to late Q3 FY21 due to retailer concerns over supply chain and inventory availability issues.'
PCTI - I made my first entry into this one in the 4s today. Has been on the radar.
APT - Anyone still in this? I was surprised to see it in the 4.50s today.
FB - Staring at it right now at 240. Thoughts? Might be worth it. Down 26% at this point is quite a bit.
SPOT also. PYPL took it on the chin earlier.
SGMA - You guys still holding this?
