Sunday night, nice and quiet. Nobody's looking.
And why would CERP get put on this list?
What's the DTC Chill List?
They're worried about a hostile takeover. R/S reduces the amount of shares. That makes it easier for companies to buy a majority, or at least a very large minority, of shares of the company. The increase in A/S can be used to counter-act a hostile takeover, by increasing the outstanding shares and diluting the share % of the hostile company.
Make your calls people, what will the close be EOD on 4/19 given the following scenarios:
1) YES on R/S, YES on A/S
2) YES on R/S, NO on A/S
3) NO on R/S, YES on A/S
4) NO on R/S, NO on A/S
Step right UP!
I'm bored! Someone just flip a coin already.
How can it be a lose-lose in the short term if we get a pop? I'll take a pop any day.
It does seem that we just need the vote out of the way, so we can get back to business.
Question is, will people actually start selling on a "yes" vote?
How will we hear about the vote result? News? Stock price movement?
How long is the vote likely to take?
I was just going to say that. Good omen. EOM
I think you missed the boat. Start swimming ... it's only getting farther away from shore from this point on.
Might be trying to fit in some last minute positive forward-looking announcements?
If the takeover is successful, it will end up paying enormous dividends to the company's current stockholders.
Agreed ... We definitely have blood flowing through the streets now.
This spells U.P. as far as my experience tells me: .05 - .06 within two weeks.
We've certainly got our blood in the streets. The 50 DMA break was inevitable. It got tapped more times than my HS prom date. We're now, finally, in over-sold territory.
This is all False Hope. eom
This does look like a classic case of keeping it down, and then letting it pop. Quick buck for MMs. I'm thinking of getting out when this pop happens.
Rise CERPant, RISE!!!
Boo-yah-shaka-kahn. FINALLY!!!
Dang. #17 was right on the nose with this one.
Sentiment is turning up, but PPS is not. Bad sign, imo.
That would be a perfect "eom" message. ;) eom
It saves a click on the message to see if there's more to it.
Great post, but keep in mind these are all reasons to hold loooong term. If you're in this for the reasons you listed, then a drop to .01 shouldn't phase you.
Now those of us who are in for the shorter-to-medium term, all of this really doesn't matter. Unless, of course, we get PRs next week that indicate they are aggressively capitalizing on all of this, and most importantly, making money!
And same here with 800K. This is either going to fast-track my bank account to my savings goal, or I just keep slogging along as always. No brainer of a bet if you ask me.
Rise CERPant, Rise! Damn you!
Have you tried doing the same analysis on a logarithmic chart? Would be interesting what you find.
And why. not? I personally feel the CEO should come to my house, give me the inside scoop on their profitability strategy, and get my approval to proceed. All while giving me a foot massage.
Common sense theory is my favorite kind of theory. It's success rate is quite impressive. ;)
A private investigator would be more reliable, and since there's no risk for s/he, they shouldn't charge too much. They just have to drive past the plant a couple times a day.
The last R/S CERP did was a 1/50 at .11. FYI.
Here's a better stab at the bottom orange lines. The general trend seems to have flattened out, but no idea where the next trend/channel lines would be.

No mind rest or brain fuel = no good.
Btw, those bottom two orange lines are wild guesses. Perhaps you could define those better.
Was just going to PM you and bring to your attention. :)
Looks like two fibonacci-esque downward channels (in blue). What do you think?
Tried to define the trend lines, long and short term. Also lined out best, worst and middle price action scenarios during the course of March.

Nm, google charts being wonky.
Look at 2/6 - 2/7. Wasn't there a gap down? If the .029 gap is bringing us down, won't that gap have to be filled at some point as well?
Ah, true. It's all in the eyes...
