Anyone care to offer a synopsis of the contents? Will they do a public offering if uplisted?
I like how we are all giddy just be cause we have almost recovered our losses. This thing needs to move onward and upward from here on out. Their game plan seems to be getting some traction.
Ok, thanks. Didn't realize that. So I guess that had nothing to do with the pps. Something did. Hopefully it's an institutional buyer instead of a short squeeze.
It was an options expiration day. Perhaps we had a short squeeze. The price went up on strong volume. Very bullish.
Lol, should have been a novelist Shark.
Maxim still making phone calls. Called again today.
Nice find. It would be nice to know the details.
1.5 mill. Sounds dirt cheap to me. Do the machines come with AA batteries? We're they having a yard sale? Were they in financial distress?
Sorry, didn't see this posted earlier.

Applied DNA buys Vandalia Research for $1.5M
Sep. 11, 2015 3:41 PM • SA Editor Douglas W. House
Security solutions firm Applied DNA Sciences (APDN +9.4%) acquires privately-held Vandalia Research for $1.5M in cash. Vandalia's core technology, Triathlon DNA production technology, allows for the large-scale production of specific DNA sequences using polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
Triathlon will facilitate Applied's strategic intent to be able to DNA mark individual doses of drugs, a major initiative in the war against counterfeits.
CEO Dr. James Hayward says, "Expanding our manufacturing capacity through the acquisition of Vandalia's Triathlon PCR machines is opportune as we move toward converting pilot projects to commercial deployment, and creates, we believe, the world's largest manufacturing capacity of DNA in bulk using PCR."
I thought trading on insider information was illegal.
Somebody knows something.

You'll have to ask my friend Tony Manero about the bling.
Already got a pair of these for each day of the week. My Sunday shoes have goldfish in the heels.
Yur paranoid Shark.
Does anyone know or have any idea how long it takes to recoup costs on these oxidizer units?
Yes, more orders will be the only catalyst to take us higher.
What's with the price action? Spread/ask all whacked out.
You got that right! Just look at what will happen when we begin to achieve increasing volume.
In order to uplist I believe there needs to be a minimum share amount traded per day. I don't see encr meeting this criteria at the moment. Am I wrong?
I could switch back at any time. I have five different personalities.
We retested a lower level and came back up. That is more encouraging than hitting it just one time.
Up 25% YTD, gonna quit complaining and get bullish for now.
The good dr. Put 20million in his swiss account.
Got it. Thanks
Do they have online capability for their conference call? Someone needs to ask them about the pitiful volume.
Maxim called and left a message. They selling more hype? Must be having a tough time paying all the niece and nephew salaries.
If they can figure out digital DNA to fight cyber crime then I think the story is enhanced significantly.
It's a great product. It is possible for this company to be filthy rich. But until the shareholders are given the priority and status we deserve I will vent. Everybody with the company is prospering except the shareholders. That is bassackwards.
So let me get this straight; it's OK to take investor money and produce no return for years on end while at the same time the top three executives in the company make a combined million plus per year. In addition these insiders own the majority of shares when it comes to voting matters. SHARES they rewarded themselves for producing negative results. A fundamental rule and obligation of existing as a public company is to put shareholders first. It is to create shareholder value. That is not being done and I will continue to be sharkey's prom queen until positive results or a class action lawsuit.
Nobody on here listens when we say they aren't concerned about sharehilders. We just keep saying "thank you sir, may I have another!"
That must have been one of fidelity's mutual fund purchases.
I think this simply demonstrates the fact that apdn
Isn't really a big boy stock yet. No institutional investors to move in sync with the market it is in.
I hope you are correct.
Until we have market recognition and uptick in orders from DR we will be held down. Shouldn't be long.
Still years away from operating in the black.
My point is this Shark, if you are going to be a public company and take other people's money as an investment your number one priority should be increasing shareholder value. We can't keep making excuses like short sellers. Mature and strong companies increase shareholder value. Right now they have been terrible stewards with our money.
Tomorrow is payday for the employees and their fat salaries. Real companies put shareholders first, even before customers and employees. This company for the moment is not one of them. Questioning the character of our leadership. Even before the good doctor builds his fame by changing the world he should work on changing his shareholders investment to above water status. Disgraceful.
Pretty sure that is why they are working hard to produce the largest unit they can.
Not a big Obama backer but his tree hugging policies seem to be quite favorable for the encr mission statement. imho.
