Bought some more at 0.52 Friday. I don't want to miss out!
No, I'm holding! I sold a small portion at 0.60. Thinking about buying some more at these prices.
That leaves today or tomorrow, if the assays come out on time. Brigus likes to put out PR's after the market closes.
No idea. Looks like someone wanted it painted red on a day that gold jumped $15...anyone with L2 see anything fishy?
Gold is at $1417.00 right now!
NYBob, thanks for the very informative post, as always.
It has been a long road. Now instead of watching the red number, we get to watch the green number in our accounts....
The price of gold is helping us.
The price of gold broke 1400 again today just before 4PM, but this time it held it. 1400 was a huge psychological resistance. I think we will touch 0.61 tomorrow no problem.
Decent volume. SP is not moving. Hmm
Common sense tells me that QE can't end until things get better. The market is going to analyze every word in tomorrow's FOMC minutes, because the market is manic-depressive.
Don't let emotions cloud your common sense. The economy isn't what it once was. Detroit is becoming a ghost town, for example.
Here is some good perspective on gold and the "QE tapering":

China, Russia, and Germany are powerful countries, and may push precious metals prices to the moon:

Thanks Stanner, sorry to hear that.
I wish you the best of luck.
Volume is low today, compared to the buying frenzy of the past couple weeks.
Gold (currently 1374.60) is creeping back up to its 2-month high...be patient...
Hopefully they are as positive as BRD news usually is :)
Stay patient. If you sell on days like today, the shorts win.
Gold consolidated after hitting a 2 month high, but we are still on our way up IMO. I am holding for $1.
Consolidation before the next move up
You weren't the only one! Volume has been huge on this climb up - and the short covering is just getting started IMO! We are on the road to a more comfortable lifestyle
LSG is going to the moon.
Gold broke 1350 today and even passed 1370 briefly. I wouldn't be surprised to see LSG back above $1 by year's end.
It's not on the site anymore. L2 was posted, showing Merrill Lynch buying at $0.44 at 4:10 from various sellers.
LSG was heavily shorted, so the move up should be smooth as the shorts cover or get crushed! I broke even a couple days ago and plan on laughing to the bank as the share price coasts back up towards $0.80
Merrill Lynch bought a lot at $0.44 today at 4:10PM.

They know what's up. While some small fish were taking profits today, the fat cats are buying hundreds of thousands of shares.
Q2 details should be released any minute.
BRD and LSG are up big today!!! The market is starting to wake up.
LSG reports on their record production in Q2 after market close. Expect LSG to move up some more, and as shorts cover or are crushed, exponentially more.
Does "raise capital from an institutional investor" mean diluting us to death (even more) with toxic debt to pay their salaries?
Or does it mean that the institutional investor wants part ownership in order to finance operations?
Or something else?
Thanks Stanner, that was a good read.
We will have our day!
Pretty low volume lately, but these percentages are looking nicer!
New Millenium Iron (NML.TO)
Great interview with the CEO: http://www.cbc.ca/labradormorning/episodes/2013/07/22/another-iron-ore-mine-is-now-shipping/
The amount of iron in the Labrador trough is a well kept secret.
This company is moving from exploration to production. Share price is $0.66 now. IMO it will double (atleast) within 12 months.
Good interview with Dean Journeaux:
http://www.cbc.ca/labradormorning/episodes/2013/07/22/another-iron-ore-mine-is-now-shipping/
Went through that 1300 psychological resistance like a hot knife through butter.
If LSG follows suit, the short covering will be magnificent, and this could easily jump back to 0.60 IMO.
LSG shorts are on borrowed time
Boom! Gold at 1313 right now!
Miners should follow suit...
So...Detroit is bankrupt. How is that economic recovery going, Bernanke?
On that same note, how long until gold reaches new highs?
Closed at 0.0003. Bad times.
I second that. gharma - I appreciate your insight on LSG and here in the Captain's Quarters
I don't understand it. They are doing the right things, gold is going up...
Is the share price cursed or something?
With the quick turnaround, MASSIVE short covering may be on the way IMO. In which case, the 1200's will soon be left behind.
And, hopefully, the rise will cause a rise in the pps for the miners!!! The miners got crushed when gold dropped...
Ben can't keep the bulls in a barn with fake walls...
And as his words sink in, the sheep will come back to the precious yellow metal.
With production on track to meet guidance, and Bernanke coming clean on what we all knew, sending gold up $40 today....will our baby finally start to get respect again?
Surely, if gold continues going up, miners that are well-positioned will follow suit.
Bernanke came clean today...as a result, Gold is going up.
If the rise continues, expect miners (especially ones with good balance sheets) to follow suit.
Great! And I expect Q3 to be spectacular, assuming they will mill what is left of the stockpiled ore during Q3, in addition to normal production.
Onward and upward!
Surf, are you still holding ECOS? If you are as hopeless on the company as you say you are, you should sell and move on.
Best of luck.
That line caught my attention too...I felt as of I had just swallowed a golf ball...
On the plus side, I am glad that they are not saying "If this fails, we will go back to trying to sell high end Chinese furniture".
if there is no "Plan B", they should be more motivated to generate revenue...right?
