You'd do better by throwing money into your trash disposal...at least you might get some value from it. It might clean out the scum as it gets washed down the pipes.
All I can say is there must be some people here that lack experience in the stock market. You are about to learn a valuable lesson with your dealings in this stock.
tenac,
You haven't done your homework.
Boy, the stock is just tanking, isn't it??? WOW! I believe this trend will actually accelerate a bit as time goes on because there are a lot of shares that need to be sold out there. Expect to see a lot more rhetoric coming from the company, too.
LMAO! Is that what they are saying?
Huh? I have no idea what you just said.
Yeah, but plaintiff, for Calypso Wireless to miss Barcelona is like a person that's trying to become a lawyer forgetting to show up at the bar exam. It doesn't make any sense.
Although, it WOULD make sense for the person to miss the bar exam if they REALLY WERE NOT trying to become a lawyer...hmmmm.
Well, most analysts don't try to analyze a company that has no track record of earnings. So, they probably simply don't have anything to say about them. There's nothing there to analyze. Also, companies on pink sheets are more "under the radar" anyway.
It looks like to me he hasn't told you very much, and he certainly didn't answer your question.
My guess is they don't want to show up at these shows because someone might figure out that they don't have a clue and spread the word. That could end their scam. I'm sure these guys have already moved on to their next scam anyway because this game is almost over.
Here's an idea...someone should contact a TV program in Miami that does criminal investigations and such and send them this story.
I see the stock broke below .30 today...now we slide through the .20's...
The stock price is dropping as the Calypso Wireless PR machine cranks up...
zfritz,
If you invested in May, 2003, then why in the world did you not exit after it ran to $6? You watched it go to $6, and it has done nothing but drop since! What have you been waiting for? If you are going to invest in stocks, learn how to take a profit occasionally. I invested at about the same time, maybe a bit earlier around April, 2003, but as soon as I got wind that the China Telecom deal was a lie then I got out as quickly as I entered. That was a huge red flag for me because they gave out all kinds of false news releases, and their website made false claims and everything. They've been doing nothing but lieing since also...many, many, many red flags.
I believe the patent was real, legitimate, and brilliant, but unfortunately the patent writer somehow was surrounded by scam artists, thieves, and criminals; and, they are only interested in the quick dollar they can make from the selling of stock. Their game, though, is almost over. I pray that justice will prevail. If not in this life, it will one day.
The guy, ROLLIN N BLING, or whatever, is saying that they are saying they forgot to pay for their booth, that they were there at the show trying to demonstrate what they had just walking around to the different booths. That's hillarious.
Thank you...great post.
LOL...it'll be interesting to see what you get back.
If you just want positive news then I would suggest you not look at message boards and just read the press releases that Calypso Wireless puts out. The level of information you get about something is up to you.
For example, if you want only positive information about Adolf Hitler, then only read things that Adolf Hitler has written or only information that he provided...don't allow yourself to look at anything else. The amount and accuracy of the knowledge you gather about something is up to you.
You know, anyone with any reasoning and any brain would realize there is something not right with the people pumping this stock. Now, I could understand someone pumping who had just bought the stock without knowing the history behind it, but anyone that has had access to the information that has been given on this board MUST know that this company, in all likelihood, is a stock selling scam. No one in their right mind would hold a stock and watch it lose 95% of its value and continue to make excuses for why people should buy it. No one in their right mind, unless they are here for some near criminal intent (it may be criminal) would invest money in a company that over the course of YEARS constantly states it is planning to begin filling orders and shipping product and never does. Who would allow that unless they are part of the scam themselves? Who would invest money into a company and promote a company where the co-founder is extradited to Costa Rica to answer charges of fraud? That co-founder is now allegedly back and working behind the scenes somehow. I wonder if the authorities in Costa Rica know he's back here? AND the other co-founder is suing this company after he quit stating that he has not been compensated correctly. Who would invest in a company that has promised hundreds of millions in sales and have NEVER produced! NEVER! Why would these pumpers continue to pump this stock and this company?
The only logical answer is that they are part of the scam themselves, or they have been given shares of the company for whatever reason or something along those lines...it's the only thing that makes any sense. SURELY, these people are not that naive!
So you are only here to get positive news on this company? You don't want to hear the negative news? Isn't that sort of unwise on your part?
I don't understand why people question why people are here to discuss this stock and this company. Isn't that the purpose of having a message board?
LG,
Please let us know what you find out. I was going to email them, but since you are already doing it, I won't bombard them with Calypso Wireless questions.
stpea,
I'm not sure what your statement means. Can you clarify?
"and ask why CLYW was on the web list and not in Barc. before "move along"."
Thanks.
How much did it cost to get a booth there? Doea anyone know? What were the requirements?
bbaazzuurraahh,
From the press releases Calypso Wireless is putting out, it doesn't even sound like they are even testing ASNAP anymore. They mention it, but the whole idea of seamless roaming seems to have somehow been deleted from their vocabulary.
See, a jury will put these people away.
This is not the first time they have had untrue statements on their website.
"The Company signed a three-year $500 million contract with a major
telecommunication carrier (China Telecom) to deliver its smart real-time video
cellular phones, and is currently negotiating additional procurement agreements
to deliver the cellular phones. The Company expects to begin shipping of its
products during the fourth quarter of 2003."

What happened???
...and since this demonstration was successful, we have this:
"The Company signed a one-year $5.2
million contract with CGE Distributors Corp. to deliver its smart real-time
video cellular phones and WLAN Access Point, on this agreement the customer has
agreed to deliver an initial down payment of $2.4 million."

So what happened???
You are right, this IS not an untested commodity according to Calypso Wireless. Allow me to respond to your post by pasting this press release below:
"Calypso Wireless has announced (November 3, [2003]) that the company has successfully completed the live demonstration of its proprietary ASNAP technology, which "seamlessly switches back and forth between the mobile networks and the new Wi-Fi networks" -the demonstration being made with T-Mobile, for CGE Distributors Corp.
The press release says that Calypso's upcoming delivery of its real-time video cellular phone will provide devices which able to seamlessly switch back and forth between GSM/GPRS networks and WiFi wireless local area networks using the 802.11 standard.
The demonstration was performed on T-Mobile's GSM/GPRS network in Miami.
Calypso Wireless "has the proprietary technology to be the only manufacturer of a cellular phone and mobile devices that seamlessly switches voice, video and data back and forth between the cellular networks and the new WiFi networks," says the announcement.
"This demonstration was an important milestone for Calypso Wireless, and for the WiFi industry. Despite the significant progress we have recently made with major telecom carriers, we felt it was imperative for us to actually show the industry that our technology work flawlessly in existing networks," says Mark Sujo, Vice President of Sales of Calypso Wireless, Inc.
According to Victor Ramirez, General Manager of CGE Distributors Corp, "We were extremely impressed by the demonstration and we look forward to deploy Calypso's technology to all our customers."
Calypso is currently working with different cellular operators and is planning to begin field trials in several markets for its real-time video cellular phones and second generation WiFi access points."

The way the stock acted today is a big red flag, and it is getting ever more predictable. Each time Calypso Wireless releases a press release, the volume goes up, but the stock ends down. This suggests that the press release brings in buyers of the stock but then this volume also allows sellers to sell which ultimately brings the stock price downward in the end because there are more sellers than buyers even at this level. It's only a matter of time until we slip below .30! This downward spiral is only sure to continue because Calypso Wireless funds its operation by selling shares of stock and the lower the stock price the more shares they have to sell to raise the needed money.
I'm in agreement here...what does this have to do with ASNAP and how would Calypso Wireless benefit from this? I think we are at the point where Calypso is just trying to do anything to produce a press release because basically they just need to sell shares of stock to continue their charade. Someone here needs to sue Calypso Wireless to try to get some of your money back before they are completely gone.
If I was on a jury, I would definitely find in favor of anyone going against them. There is certainly a clear cut case with lots of evidence.
OUCH...you are STILL holding this stock? How much have you lost so far? Some of you have watched this stock steadily decline from the high of $6.06 to .325 presently...O-U-C-H!!! A drop in value of nearly 95% from the high!
I guess if you are still holding at this point, another 5% really isn't much more...
AND, notice that this press release is issued BY Calypso Wireless themselves and not by anyone else. No news would have been generated if they didn't generate it themselves. Also, why did it take over a week to send out this press release? The event was over on the 19th.
In Spain learning the newest buzz words in telecom so they can write more press releases...
I hope we have saved investors from investing in this stock because obviously they have missed huge losses by staying out!
If ASNAP was commercially ready, the stock price would not be where it is...insiders would be buying instead of selling...we would honestly be the last to know about ASNAP being commercially ready if it really were...
LOL! The fact that you keep mentioning that Alicia is positive or whatever is comedic! Do you not realize that it looks foolish to say that?
I apologize, I don't normally like to put people down or demean people, but COME ON!
I got it from the SEC website I do believe. Sorry, I guess I didn't do a good job on documenting my source on that one.
still developmental? then why have they been announcing all of their "deals" over the last few years?
Your reasoning is ludicrous at best.
Thank you, Billcoln.
