That's interesting Money. Are those the same trials that were discussed on this board some time ago? The same trials that had a picture of silkworms with red glowing eyes? I was thinking that they had been injected with spider dna, but that doesn't appear to be the case here, Although I only skimmed through the article.
"Sounds, too like the materials produced today in the limited production facility have not been up to par. "
To me, that is scary. Weren't we told how spectacular the pilot program went? Was that a lie?
Aren't cc's normally after hours?
There is so much anticipation for all the wonderful news that will surely be released before the conference call. You can tell by the share price movement that everyone is on the edge of their seats.
Good post Truth.
"KBLB has not (to date) proven that they can mass-produce the fibers on a large commercial scale..."
IMO, this is the "main" reason the share price sits where it is. An agreement with Vietnam will move the sp some, contracts will move it more, but until mass production occurs, I don't think we will be living the dream.
"Git 'em while they're cheap !!! wink"
They'll get a lot cheaper if we don't hear from our fearless leader before long.
Bad news doesn't come from Kim, it gets resolved, (hopefully),before we hear about it.
The response was a bit vague, but I really didn't expect much more. I'm hoping for the cc announcement by tomorrow, but I suspect Kim is expecting to be able to announce it tomorrow also......hence his reason for not announcing a delay.
Good morning Mr. Hansel,
As there has been no announcement of a conference call,
will there be a pr stating reasons for the further delay?
I'm afraid the share price will suffer even more if the
silence continues. Are you aware of a plan B if the Vietnam
deal continues to drag out,
and how long is the company prepared to wait on the
government of Vietnam?
Thank you,
XXXXXXXX

Hi Mr. XXXXX
The conference call is not taking place on the 13th, but we should publish the conference call details soon. While there are options, or Plan B, Vietnam is still on the table.
Best regards,
Ben Hansel

Well said Money. There cant possibly be anyone that disagrees with what you said.
In case anyone hasn't read the newsletter yet, here it is:
Blah blah blah blah blah, Vietnam taking longer than anticipated, coming to a head shortly, blah blah blah blah blah.
That could have been said in an email instead of wasting the 12 minutes it took to write the newsletter.
I believe that my thinking was much closer to the truth than yours.
It's out
It surely won't be released Monday morning, the kblb website wouldn't still say that it will be released by the 23rd.
Did anyone else get emails today from Next Level? Urgent stock alert for Kraig Laps.......made me lol
No banana, that never crossed my mind.
Maybe Kim will wait until the market closes today to release the newsletter, just so it doesn't have a negative effect on the share price. By Monday most will forget how underwhelming it was.
I'm hoping that before long, it won't matter if I bought at .03 or .035. I didn't buy enough to make all that much difference anyway. I was just rounding my amount to the next 100k.
The longer mass production is delayed, the longer we will be waiting for "something good" to happen. Of course, IMHO.
All we can do now is hope that some new, good info is put out in the newsletter, along with an explanation of the Vietnam delay. If it is a boring newsletter, I don't believe that .03 will hold. I was dumb enough to purchase more shares at .0352 yesterday......kicking myself today.
It could be moving up because of paid pumps. I got 1 yesterday and this one today:

Timing is everything!
While the broader markets are stumbling along, there are a few shining lights that are at the end of the tunnel.
One of the brightest is Kraig Labs (KBLB).
Spider Silk has long been the fiber of legend, known as the strongest fiber on earth, and it has been impossible to duplicate, let alone mass produce. KBLB seems to have solved both of these problems.
You would think that Kraig reaching the cusp of mass production of the world’s first recombinant spider silk is more than enough to make this a special opportunity, but the Company’s R&D machine keeps churning out the hits. In fact, KBLB recently announced that they have developed a strand of spider silk called Dragon Silk, which is said to actually be more than 30% STRONGER than Spider Silk.
Kraig Labs engineered silk worms to produce the spider silk, and has already completed test production runs.
Spider Silk is the Holy Grail of fibers, and hundreds of millions of dollars have been expended to make a usable version of this living Technology.
KBLB announced that they are scheduling a conference call for late this month, and I believe recent developments should make this exciting for stakeholders and readers alike.
It’s time to put KBLB on your radar, and make sure you start picking some up while it’s sitting below five cents.
KBLB has also been nominated for a prestigious reward for the technological breakthroughs the company has developed. I look for more news to be coming, and want everyone to get positioned ahead of time.
Truly yours,
Chris Lexington

The One Tech Stock to Put in Your Portfolio
Kraig Biotech Laboratories (KBLB) looks like it’s ready for a Big Bull Run
Fellow Investor,
This is as exciting as it gets.
A brilliant young company has cracked the code and solved a big problem that has nagged the technical fibers and textiles industries for years.
Because of this breakthrough, the company has emerged as the potential leader in the spider silk space.
This is big-time stuff.
This, as you know, is how breakthrough tech stocks move... quickly... dramatically... and, in this case, in a way that could allow you to bank as much as a rapid 400pct return if it tests past highs.
KBLB looks like your best Market-Beating Tech Stock
The company is called Kraig Biotech Laboratories (KBLB)... you'll want to get in while it’s hot andfcheap…
So, when it comes to the potential for a huge upside, Kraig Biotech Laboratories (KBLB) is as good as it gets in the Bio-tech sector this year.
KBLB is my favorite small stock, and here is why you should love it to…..
Company recently announced a conference call, which is upcoming soon!
The media is loving spider silk and that’s translating into massive KBLB coverage. The kind of exposure that can turbocharge a market.. and has for Kraig before.
Fibre2Fashion just featured Kraig, only a day after Future Materials covered KBLB.
“What is most exciting about spider silk is not merely its strength, but the combination of strength and elasticity that no synthetic fiber can match.”
KBLB is set to ink significant commercialization agreements this quarter and Kraig is poised to close a massive production agreement with the Vietnamese government.
This is a big deal and it confirms that KBLB is the leader in the spider silk space.
The possibilities and practical applications for Kraig’s transformative technology are nearly unlimited.
Add some Kraig now, and let the catalysts come after you’ve locked in your place.
I’ll keep you updated as this starts to come to market.
Chris Lexington.

"It is good news, but already known if you follow this board."
True, not much new info if you were already aware of Kraig Labs, but it should muster up new awareness.
Not the news I was hoping for on this final day of the third quarter, but beggars can't be choosers.
If your flux capacitor still works, would you mind taking a ride to 2016 and see where we stand?
Best case scenario......we have millions of frozen monster cocoons, when Vietnam is a go, those babies thaw and in no time we can start filling orders.
I've got to hand it to you Money, that couldn't have been any more right! Kudos!
I'm glad you asked Money. The following are 4 emails between myself and Ben. You'll notice that the first is from August 6,2014. I did not ask Ben for permission to post these, but I don't see the harm, and it may end some wild speculations.....
Wednesday, August 6, 2014:
Dear Mr. Hansel,
I am emailing to find out if there are any updates on commercial quantities of Monster Silk. I recall a previous pr that projected it possible by mid-2014. Has there been a new projection made, or is that projection still a possibility? Some might consider mid-2014 to have passed, which is why I am inquiring.
Thank you in advance,
XXXXX Casey

Mr. Casey,
Your recollection is correct, but the Company has yet to announce an update, so I'm not sure where that quest stands. I'm quite sure that the Company will announce that milestone the moment it happens.
Best regards,
Ben Hansel

Mr. Hansel,
I have included our email correspondence from over one year ago. Based on your response, am I to assume that commercial quantities of Monster Silk has yet to be achieved?
Thank you,
XXXXX Casey

Yes, I believe that's the case, but it's by choice, because the Company prefers to perform a proper ramp up in Vietnam, as opposed to where the pilot production host facility.
Best regards,
Ben Hansel

Bob,
I'm afraid M4N hit the nail on the head, as I have had this confirmed. There are not commercial quantities laying around anywhere. Those quantities are to be produced in Vietnam, if and when that deal is finalized.
Thanks JS, this could be a big find.
I would try and explain, but you have already confirmed that it would be a lost cause.
That has absolutely nothing to do with my post. Like Money said, follow the string of posts back.
"Yankee is giving outside confirmation"
Lol. Outside confirmation=Inside information.
Not very bright to post that.
I'm hoping it means that we have some kind of agreement with a company that has a lab to work out of, or else the Nam lab that Kim spoke of is already up and running.
Wow, amazing. I'm hoping that that's a good thing, but it could obviously go either way.
Ecstatic! I need to back the truck up and load up more!
Completely agree Romans. It seems as if the share price is completely meaningless to Kim.
Is there a way to see if this contract has been even partially fulfilled?
"Warwick Mills Inc., New Ipswich, N.H., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract with a maximum value of $94,324,536 for the procurement of the Family of Concealable Body Armor Type-1 and Type-2 vest and outer covers. Performance location and type of appropriation will be determined with each order. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with five bids received. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-13-D-0010)."
Just like when Vietnam talks were first discovered and posted on here......there will probably be a Taiwan pr tomorrow. Lol
