My Stocks Activity For BLTA
Gee, I just happened to notice that some people have removed BLTA. I wonder why? Do you think they may know something that you don't? Perhaps they feel the stock isn't doing as well as they had planned. Come to think of it, the pps is down almost 90% for the last 5 years...
I think some clarification is in order here...
Eyeforthedeal stated in post#17203:
“SINCE this letter was written, the DOT, through its subordinate, the FAA, agreed to apply significant resources to Baltia's certification - that's a fact. They are assigning a certification team at the Detroit office, where personnel are immediately available to complete the certification because of the recent loss of two airlines under that jurisdiction.“
Teslaschild stated in post# 17207:
“The New York office was too busy, and Baltia knows that people are waiting for news, so the move was the right thing to do for more than one reason.”
However, in a letter from Baltia (Lewis) to the DOT, dated 12/14/12, Baltia stated:
“Under the East Michigan FSDO, Baltia remains under the same FAA Certification Standardization and Evaluation Team (CSET).”
So which is it? Is there a new team evaluating Baltia, or is it the same team? If it’s a new team, wouldn’t the certification process have to go back to step 1 - a complete review by the new team? That would set the certification process back at least another 9 months (or maybe in Baltia’s case, 9 years). If it’s the same team, the team that was too busy in New York, wouldn’t they still be too busy in Michigan? Did the FAA relieve the current CSET of all their New York duties and fly them out to MI?
Wouldn’t Baltia have to go back and tell the DOT that they aren’t under the same CSET, like they told them in their 12/14/12 letter?
Anyone call headquarters lately?
Wonder if the attitude there is still positive...a lot of excitement? Seem to recall a few posts here from people claiming they spoke with HQ, and all was well - after Baltia pulled the plug on their own certification process.
Check out the Baltia web site - still have the very positive message from ID: "I am happy to inform you that Baltia is at an advanced stage in the certification process and is on the right track."
The kicker is: "I will continue to provide you with timely information as it becomes available."
Of course the statement is undated. Does anyone remember when that was posted? Was it before or after 10/22?
Seems like they have had almost two months to tell their loyal shareholders that they've been royally screwed.
Are any of these guys still in this country?
Apparently, this was not a factual statement.
Those holding large amounts of BLTA might want to consider another source of information in the future. Although it may now be too late to sell off your shares (I mean, seriously - who in their right mind would consider buying now?), it's never too late to learn one of life's lessons.
Here is all you need to know:
"In fact, after consulting with the FAA, we learned that per Balita's request, the air carrier's Part 121 certification process was terminated on October 22, 2012."
How much longer due you plan on holding onto those worthless pieces of...paper?
LOL!!!
Great - now you can sell all your stock and make a huge profit!!!
Just curious as to the names of the several airlines you mention, and how long they have been in processing for part 121 certification.
Dynamic Airways was granted part 121 certification in October of 2010, after a little over a year of processing. It didn't take them 'years' to get certified. Apparently they overcame this great adversity and unfairness encountered by Baltia. I wonder why Baltia hasn't succeeded?
“How quick can u find out? chart looks decent”
Chart looks decent? Which chart? BLTA 5 day = -10.18%; 1 mo = -50%; 3 mo = -50%; 6 mo = -50%; YTD = -80.00%; 5 yr = -90.91%. Looks like long and short term stink to me. Wanna buy some cheap stock? Think it’s going to go up and make you a fortune? Better think twice…
IMHO
In order to do that, you would have to resubmit the manuals...oh boy...here we go again...
...come to think of it...the odds of winning Powerball are considerably better than Baltia succeeding...
BLTA is down 74% YTD!!!
Why - so they can tell me the same lies they told you?
Wait a minute - are you trying to make us believe that if an airline makes a submittal to the FAA in New York, and it gets disapproved, they can keep on submitting it to various FAA offices around the country until if finally gets approved? And that’s OK? I don’t believe a single word of that. Whoever in Baltia management told you that is lying - they don’t want to admit they’re finished.
And, by the way, BLTA is down 71.60% YTD - LOL, LOL, LOL!!!
Baltia down 68.60% YTD...LOL, LOL, LOL!!!
You guys can quibble all you want about the little daily ups and downs of the pps...bottom line - YTD, this stock is down 70%. Potential investors take note...
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain - this stock can only go down, IMHO (I know that’s hard to believe at this point).
Your thoughts on manual resubmittal are very true. Even Baltia has admitted their manuals had been disapproved by the FAA and required revision and resubmittal. What they have yet to admit, are the times they revised their manuals on their own, without any direction by the FAA, which put them back to the start of the review and approval process again. If they truly wished to get manual approval, and get on with the process of flying passengers and freight across the Atlantic, why would they intentionally set back the approval process? I think I know...
Great post - perhaps the best of all time!
The end is near...
"we do not need engines attached until we sell tickets."
I might have a problem buying tickets from an airline that has never flown a single passenger flight, only has one plane, that plane is over 35 years old, and that plane has no engines.
"...and NO engine repossession..."
And just how would you know that? Are you a Baltia employee? Or did you call them and ask?
Baltia is doing nothing, and the vast majority of shareholders are holding onto their investment because they paid considerably more than the current pps, and don't want to lose all their money. In reality, the pps is holding at around 1/2 of what it was one year ago...I don't consider that positive.
Makes you think that the only people who own this stock are members of this forum. The big talkers are the ones who snap the cheap shares up 1500-2500 at a time - cab fare!!!
Bankruptcy!!!
Thank you.
MAYBE the manuals were disapproved again - which would put them back to square 1 in the approval process (again). MAYBE some people have knowledge of this and are taking appropriate action (aka, bailing). MAYBE some people took the Krell mind booster and got smart after all these years (finally)...
Better get out before the monsters from the id get ya...
Oh, by the way...just because someone at Baltia tells you something over the phone, doesn’t necessarily mean that you should believe it. No more than you should believe someone on this forum telling you that something exciting is about to happen, or something will happen very soon, or I think I saw a piece of paper on someone’s desk at headquarters, or I may have overheard something while at Baltia last week, or you can expect to hear something by the end of next week...or next month...or next year...
Something's brewing...check out the recent news.
Looks like someone's jockeying to unload some serious blocks of shares!
The crash is coming!!!!!!!!!!
You're right - I'm more into non-fiction than fairy tales....
"The SEC does not know that the first revenue flights are planned
for the first qtr of 2013."
Nor does anyone else! First quarter - is that what they told you when you called? Dude, check your calendar - we're already into the 4th quarter of 2012...even if the manuals were approved today, Baltia couldn't start revenue flights by March of 2013...or June, for that matter. And, by the way, the manuals didn't get approved today, nor will they be approved tomorrow...or the next day...or the next day...or the next day...or the next day...
Let's see...what is 3 million times nothing? You'd better start the sell-off while you still can!
Good job, dawg!
This guy should fit right in with the crack Baltia team!!!
star - one of the best posts I've read here in months.
That’s what you do with a penny stock - you buy it low and dump it when it goes up. I see no reason for buying a ton of BLTA and holding it for 20 years - sooner or later it’s going to go bust and you will lose everything. Many Baltia Airlines lovers here who want to hold the stock forever, in the belief that they will become millionaires some day. That’s fine, but don’t expect me to do it. Buy lottery tickets - the odds are much better. IMHO.
Let's compare...Richard Branson got Virgin flying in less than a year - Igor D. - still trying after 23 years, and will quite possibly retire before getting Baltia airborne.
Frank Borman was a West Point graduate, he was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, he was a test pilot, he was an astronaut - how dare you compare him to a Russian yogurt salesman?
The U.S. Dept. of Transportation "likes" Baltia's team? Now that's a stretch!!!!
"...another poster misinterpreted a letter from the FAA to Baltia..."
And what letter was that? Something recent? Care to share the contents of that letter with the Baltia shareholders?
I don't think ANY Baltia investors are truly confident that this company will become operational. Baltia investors aren't hanging on to their shares - they are stuck with them - they can't unload them without taking a huge loss.
Would that be by C.O.B. Friday, or 9 AM the following Monday?
We could hear something by 11:59 PM...or maybe 9:00 AM on Monday...or was it 9:00 PM on Monday...or was it the second Tuesday in November...or was it April 2013...or 2014...
Know what? You're only kidding yourself if you think Baltia is ever going to fly.
Yes, next weeks news - the magic day everyone has been waiting for...
9/14/2012 - This just in...
Dear Baltia shareholders and supporters,
We here at Baltia are very excited and very proud to announce, that we are working harder and more diligently than ever on our manual approval, and expect to hear back from the FAA any day. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
The Baltia Team
That's great to hear! That means...absolutely nothing...again...
