North - Sorry, I can not reply to private messages.
I agree with this post completely - However, I also like LOOF adding in the mix with his Kornlicker
CP, sunstar, bio, geo, cjgaddy, ex, Paul, wook, goat, you and a few others are the only posts I read.
The rest is 8th grade chatter.
I still do not see a single pre-market sale. Am i seeing this correctly?
GOLFHO POST #128593 "Post of the quarter" - I disagree Totally - POST OF THE YEAR IS MY VOTE!
Baseball fan says "Heck, CEO Jerry Shelton just excersized 500K shares at a cost of 100K. That's a vote of confidence!"
How do we know that is a vote of Confidence? It could be a vote of lack of confidence. His exercise price was 20 cents a share. He may have sold all of those shares above that price. We just do not know!
OK Folks - a newbie perspective.
As I have stated before, I am new to PPHM as an invesment and new to the board. I came to learn about PPHM from "broker friends" as a trading stock. I have pocketed approximately a 30% profit in a week to a month on a few occasions (less than the fingers on one hand). Since finding this stock from the broker, I have studied EVERYTHING I can on this stock - this board included - My research has me "drinking the koolaid" as i am convinced about the LONG TERM prospects of PPHM.
These same "broker friends" have told me for years (NON PPHM RELATED) that it is never a good idea to get involved in a class action lawsuit against a company you own shares in. You are basically "suing yourself". Companies do not like it, want it, or need it, and the ONLY one that comes out ahead in that regard is the FREAKING lawyers. I happen to believe that 50 lawyers at the bottom of an ocean is WHAT, IMHO simply a good start - (lawyers always have the best lawyer jokes).
THERE SHOULD NOT BE A SHAREHOLDER REVOLT, LAWSUIT, OR PROPOSALS concerned with the amount of shares a shareholder has, ETC, ETC.
If you do not like the company or its direction - simply sell your share to someone who may want them - like me at the present!
Added today at $1.64 - The coolaid tastes great, will I find it "refreshing" or "deadly"? Time will tell, but I am long
GLTA
No Pre-market activity? What gives? Am I reading this correctly?
I agree volgoat . . .It seems every time I buy a stock - no matter what industry - it immediately goes down a bit just after I buy it.
Almost like I should do the opposite of what I think . . .
I agree with the need for a PR TONIGHT. I have been to many conferences . . . NOT ASCO . . . and I would need a compelling reason to spark interest in the topic to get out of bed early on a Saturday 8:00 am presentation.
Very true . . . and most of "them" can not even buy for their managed accounts it as it is under their dollar "threshold", other than their personal accounts.
This is also brought up in the "point/counter point" conversations about the stock.
The stock just needs to get over $5.00 then "Katie, Bar the door"!
They simply have no confidence in the stock, and then begins my point counter point discussion about them not having a clue what this stock is really about. They hear what I am saying, but do not believe. They do however like to day trade the stock which is how I first came to learn of PPHM. While I have not day traded the stock I certainly have pulled of several "buy low/sell high" monthly trades when buying in high 1.20's and selling in the high 1.50's for about a 30% PROFIT each time.
That is what my Broker friends think about the stock. I would like to VERY much hit "multi bagger" on this stock simply to shut these guys up, engage in the manly "I told you so" discussions over my celebration cigar and bottle of Jameson!
Cloaked . . . You ever play a game in which there are several people in a room and one person starts a simple story with one person, who in turn tells that story to another person, who in turns tells that person the same story and so on and so on until the last person tells the story out loud to the entire room - you would be amazed at how many tangents, interpretations, facts distorted, and how very hard it is to get to people to believe the correct intial story as presented in the beginning.
Bring this to PPHM . . .
I watch this board and read everything I can on this stock - I have what I believe is a large position in this company (for me) and genuineally believe this stock is going places. But there is so many different agendas, points of view, people like yourself who are in the know and bring alot of solid, logical wisdom to this board.
I do have some "people" I know quite well that are mainly stock brokers. they all say to me with vigor "stay away", and yet here I am still heavily invested. I find myself trying to convince them as I am convinced about this stock and its potential.
On the other hand, I also have some "people" who have cancer/died from cancer/and are presently "cured" but live with the shadow in their mind that "will it ever come back". Some of these "people" actually participated in trials several years back that are no longer with us. It grieves me to say that I have seen the desperation first hand of people who simply want to live. It is an absolute shame to not allow any of these "people" at least try something they are very willing to do in order for them to live.
This is what I mean by my people.
I have no insight into PPHM in any capacity other than what I can glean from my own research. Again, I am long on the stock. I hope this clarifies.
All quiet on the ASCO Front? Since I live near the ASCO Meeting (about 1 hour away), maybe I should go there and ask them for any news directly!
This is like watching paint dry, water boil, grass grow or snow melt!
please define OE, and forgive me but I am a novice.
I thought I should post something since no one else is - so I did. Pathetic post, but is there really nothing going on until mid July?
I just talked to "My Guy", who talked to "His Guy", and the word on the Street is ... "there is no word on The Street". Go Figure!
I listened to the presentation this morning. I was not expecting to hear new "news" knowing about the "silent period" before an IPO. My expectation was confirmed during this presentation as there was just a passing refernce to Pfizer.
I was keenly interested in the presentation itself, the enthusiasm exhibited, how much passion, drive, and determination this new CEO would bring to the table. To use a baseball analogy, I think he hit a single. Certainly not a home run, but still adequate in my view. Admittedly, not being able to visually attend was a huge hinderance to having a full picture of the performance, but that is my take!
I was very dismayed there was not a single follow up question asked - Was there no one in attendance?
I have been owned CYRX for about 5 years, and am very disillusioned based on past performance, and want to see results that actually bring shareholder value. I am totally sold on the technology, just not on the ability to pull it off.
By the way, I have added in the past two weeks doubling my position.
Maybe some news is good news??
