"will we be playing leap frog...?"
How about we play Big Brother with J&J or Abbott instead?
Slide 10 too...
"We are ready to start scout drilling of primary target sites."
"What?"
Yep, it's called generally accepted accounting principles. MMTC's accounts receivable could easily show revenue soon, depending on how they choose to report. Heck, I figured folks affluent enough to hang at the beach bar would know all about it.
"There are variations on this basic model of revenue recognition. A company may choose to use the date that the order is placed, or the date that the invoice for the order is generated, as the key event that leads to recognition."
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-revenue-recognition.htm
Go MMTC!
"...i hope to add more to my position..."
I bet there will be plenty of others sharing that sentiment, and acting on it, between now and the 23rd. My pile of freebies will make for a tidy profit when the ball gets rolling a little harder. For now, seeing the green days and the positive news is great, the shape of things to come.
There could be revenue on the books by the end of this month. This is me licking my chops...
I'll take it...
...and I'm not surprised that folks grabbed more shares before the weekend. Green Fridays are always a nice sign in the OTC markets, a show of confidence that in this case appears to be driven by the pending trade show at IAFP. We could easily see a decent run just building up to the show date.
MMTC is about to show the world what they have, and later this month they'll start with the food industry insiders who can give the company revenues pronto. Remember, advance orders on the books are reported as earnings.
Go MMTC!
Here we go again...
...More stories confirming how badly the MMTC technology is needed. ABC news, Yahoo front page headline.
http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/superbug-dangers-chicken-linked-8-million-risk-women-122809803--abc-news-health.html
The MMTC O/S is NOT 2.5 billion...
...and we all know it. Thanks for playing, sorry you're destined to be a "parting contestant".
Go MMTC.

Anyone near Providence?
We could use an on-the-spot poster with a camera. I'd love to get a feel for how the new machine looks and how much attention MMTC attracts at the show.
"...no show..."
I believe that refers to the pending, looming, imminent, oh-my-god-they're-coming-to-get-us SEC investigation of MMTC that never happens.
This is now yahoo front page news...
...and the comments overwhelmingly oppose Pebble. Some posters here might want to drop some comments into the thread on the yahoo story, including some free publicity for LBSR.
http://news.yahoo.com/red-gold.html
Controlling Interest...
...It's necessary if you want to call some shots in the partnership/acquisition. It occurred to me that things could be going that way based on events and connections. We might end up being pretty happy they issued those shares, depending where they ultimately land.
Go MMTC!
"...negoitable for one drilled poriffery per customer?"
That would be the ideal way to play this out. Prove the one adjoining Pebble to complete the proxy assessment, let the market take a hard look at the results AND the lesser environmental concerns of the remaining targets, then spin them out to suitors who will see LBSR in a whole new light by then (and pay accordingly).
I told myself long ago that this was a long-term play. Still, there should be some critical mass point where the snowball starts rolling down the hill unencumbered, especially when you consider how many serious properties can become the focus at any time. Reports are coming in that we could drop a drill rig any day.
I'm ready.
Thank you, Weekend Warriors!
Go MMTC! It's nice to see so many concerned citizens here to warn us about the big, bad wolf in MMTC clothing. I seem to recall posting earlier that we should expect a barrage to follow Friday's news.
Plenty of interest in MMTC, from both sides of the fence. Bring on the next round of news!
Nope...
I watched MMTC for most of a year, bought at .0016, grabbed a few more at .0024, sold enough to take all the cash back on the run, kept the freebies. I consider them in the green above .0016, but having my cash secured, I don't worry about price swings too much. I just love the potential here. GLTA, Go MMTC.
"I call FRAUD"
Yeah, and we call BS. MMTC consistently moves toward goals, we're up, green, and on the way for a nice swing trade, maybe a serious run.
Every weekend the valiant savior of the soon-to-be-scammed warns us against MMTC and it's band of henchmen. Good thing I didn't listen last time. Would have missed some deep green. Go MMTC!
Predictions...
...Since MMTC has released some rather enticing news, and given it the whole weekend to disseminate, I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of posts from those sharing negative opinions. Brace yourself for tales of D-D-Die-lution, of B-B-B-Billions, the nefarious motivations of our insider whales (who apparently believe that owning huge chunks of the float is desirable), the big, bad litigation monster lurking under the bed, Lawsuits and Warrants and Shorts; Oh my!.
Oh, the Humanity...
Common sense says the MMTC officers and board want to lock up the float and put a squeeze on the offshort garbage, plus profit handsomely as MMTC makes its way into revenues. I seem to recall Brennan making the point that the AS increase would allow the board to maintain control of the float if necessary.
I notice that we have some other principals going for large chunks of the float as well. It looks like MMTC is about to get even more interesting.
Wait for it...
"ya better sell. "
Ya better get a securities license.
I'm here to talk about the amazing MMTC MIT-1000 and the fact that insiders are committing to huge acquisitions. The float's-a-gettin' tighter...
"If we get a PR on Monday..."
And if we don't, the news of Newhuis' commitment to acquire so much of the MMTC float should attract some attention. Of course some sort of news seems likely in the coming days or weeks.
Massive Insider Buying! More to Come!
Talk about your whales...Go MMTC!
"On 05/08/12 Mr. Newhuis entered into an agreement to purchase 8 hundred million shares of the Issuer's common stock. As of 07/06/12, Mr. Newhuis had purchased one-half of the total purchase commitment."
I guess the folks inside the company, with the best info, are willing to put a lot of money into the stock. Don't be too surprised if they restrict or retire a big chunk of shares when revenues are announced. I'm in another biotech that recently turned profitable. They retired a nice portion of the float and my shares went up about 1400% in two weeks.

News after 5:00 on a Friday can be bad...
...You have to wonder if this was planned to avoid a run too early.
Hiya Mike; liking the news?
Like the microbes, the incubation period is about up. Go MMTC!
Mods, might we sticky Mr. Newhuis insider acquisitions?
It's pretty impressive, and certainly changes the volatility of the float if he is holding such a huge portion of the SS.
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=53139692
Almost a B-B-B-Billion insider held...
Go ahead and explain how this is awful news for MMTC.
Zowie...
...Talk about your insider buying:
"On 05/08/12 Mr. Newhuis entered into an agreement to purchase 8 hundred million shares of the Issuer's common stock. As of 07/06/12, Mr. Newhuis had purchased one-half of the total purchase commitment."
Somebody believes in this in a big way.
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=53139692
Can you say green Friday?
MMTC holding gains going into the weekend, as investors hold tight awaiting news. All my free shares are currently up over 100% from their purchase price.
I believe the MMTC technology can detect the big three even on sour grapes.
=-)
Nothing like watching a new position soar...
Added to my core today. The writing is on the wall, and it's followed by an upward arrow.
"...would be very exciting week for mmtc"
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. I'd love a PR, but nothing has been promised short of the company receiving some machines. It may or may not be announced with a PR, and revenues may or may not come quickly.
On the other hand, a PR confirming the machines being received plus news of advance orders coming onto the books would be sweet. That would be a day for fireworks.
Go MMTC!
10,000 MMTC shares shaken loose...
...Maybe if we hear mention of another dastardly litigation, we can get the total over $50 by EOD.
(My free MMTC shares are nice and green as we hold steady. What's cooking? Sure smells good!)
It's pretty funny...
Watch MMTC long enough and you'll see some pretty effective subterfuge, obviously literate folks with decent presentation, but the desperation shines through as MMTC surges forward. Reminds you of the tough guy who wants his wife back. Eventually he cries and whines.
Nice...
... now if only it was applicable to the other big pathogens.
Thank you, HKipp: Go MMTC!
Isn't it great to know that so many nice folks are interested in MMTC?
"REALLY BAD NEWS"
You mean the part about Omni being 2000% more expensive per test than the MMTC technology? I noticed that too.
Lawdy-lawdy, sakes alive...
All this looming death and destruction awaiting MMTC shareholders, jagged peaks of litigation, tsunamis of outsized competition, avalanches of dilution...
At the end of the day, a measly 204,000 shares change hands, on the green side. $612 dollars, woo-hoo! That's enough to rent a compact economy car and race for the border before your shorts are due.
"That's NOT how it's done... "
Or at least you wouldn't want anyone who could report it to think so anyway. MMTC offshort contracts might connect a few to many dots.
"Longs are holding..."
All these big scary allegations, fat juicy documents-of-eternal-peril looming, pics of the former CEO looking less than youthful and vibrant, bold, red proclamations of dilution and delusion, and still they shake loose 59,000 shares from MMTC.
Somebody's shooting blanks today.
You should call the SEC...
...another lawsuit would be perfect for anyone wanting to short MMTC.
I see green...
...guess I won't get filled without chasing. Onward and upward.
"Do any of those MMTC videos show the frying pan...?"
In my studied opinion, the MMTC videos show a dual-axis parabolic array of photo-diode receptors (it's under the "frying pan" in one video, fully exposed and working in the others)' set up on incident-angle intervals to read the reflected scatter patterns of photons that are returned from microorganisms suspended in the water.
The water is important to the MMTC technology, since a pure medium guarantees that the light refracts in predictable angular inclinations to the direction of the laser due to the physical constants of transmission through the material, providing the inherent geometry to use in placing the receptors, made up of complex components like these...
http://www.osioptoelectronics.com/standard-products/silicon-photodiodes/position-sensing-detectors/position-sensing-detectors-overview.aspx
...which are made and assembled by our currently-exclusive manufacturing partner (images courtesy of OSI systems, Hawthorne, CA). All in all, it is an impressive application of technology, exceeding even the lofty standards of the modern grocery scanner in it's advantage over current methods. IBM is currently using similar technology in an attempt to identify individual molecules (much smaller and more difficult, but the same principle), and I hear they have some smart folks there too, just like MTC.
I have worked for state and federal agencies using laser survey point-mapping, done site calibration routines to connect our ground gear with geosynchronous comsats 22,000 miles away, defining points on public works involving public safety concerns, working to six points past the decimal to achieve the precision required by the client when using public dollars. My point is that I have a base of scientific literacy that shows me how MMTC is doing real work with real results. I looked at the guts of that machine before I had read much about MMTC and immediately saw that it was a laser scanner for small-scale detection, cleverly engineered in accordance with well-established scientific principles.`
That's why I'm buying more MMTC. There are some who are very good with financial and legal terminology, unflattering image hosting, etc. Distort, distract, destroy, lather, rinse, repeat. I have taken notice that a lawsuit has been filed. It doesn't make me sell when machines are being delivered next week. It does make me think that someone wants a bunch of MMTC shares ASAP. I wonder why?
Onward and upward.
