This is confusing, They state they do and DO NOT have the contract???
Did Kathy give a concrete date for financials?
We already know that Ford is working on one of there own, they purchase a whole fuel rails system from AFTC in 2009. Problem is, Jim's stuff is not really patented as I understand it. SO who know what Ford is or is not doing to replicate the system.
Not to "steal" from Fiddler on the Roof, Rabbi Tevye would say!
ON THE OTHER HAND, Even if For uses the tech and makes their own, it would only help AFTC if Ford puts a successful DME car on the market. Then AFTC has the jump on many of the parts that other car makers might need.
Tell that to Volvo.
Monda, IDAhas very little to nothing new about AFTC. Man what I would not give to have IDA speaking for AFTC. They at least promote themselves.
I agree 100%. The industry know Kathy and AFTC. I spoke with a DME refiners via e-mail in Israel that knows of AFTC for crying out loud.
If Kathy cared about the people, she would start marketing to the shareholders and let us get the word out. As of right now, I am with Nikki, I am embarrassed that I gave info about AFTC to those that I have given it too.
Here is the problem, AFTC only has one buyer at this point (ARMY). And it is not even a DME pump sale. All the company's that are in DME know of AFTC, so what is the point in trying to advertise to them.
I think that the thing that Kathy should be doing is working on the company image with share holders. Like Nikki said, we used to tell our friends and family about AFTC, now we do not.
Well it's quiet, and there are not many buying, that is what I was hinting at.
What happened to all those folks that kept saying they would buy up all them cheeps? Looks to me that we are at our bottom, and there aren't many people knocking down them cheepie doors.
Not to Nitpick, but being that they are SoCal, should Oberons work be added? or did I miss it?

wouldn't it be great if we all were voting stock holders. We could vote for clear leadership at AFTC.
I find it peculiar that Kathy holds every single officer post at AFTC. To me this feels like she is just waiting for the ink to dry on a few items before she sells the company.
Although, if handled right, a sale of AFTC might we a welcome event for us all.
IMHO
I sent the following question to Kathy. I post this because the last time we did correspond on e-mail she said her last post on AFTC covered all questions that were submitted. Kathy has stated that she will answer all e-mails in her website responses.
Hi Kathy, I had a question regarding your future movement. The Following website has you down as holding all Officer possitions at AFTC - president, treasurer, secretary and director. Is their movement to put other ins charge of those areas of AFTC. Thank you.

Good, Bad or Indifferent....At this point we are 7 people talking to each other and sometimes to ourselves...
agreed
Although I am as fed up as you and others are, I think that you are wrong about one item. Our DD does nothing to keep the doors of AFTC open. They are not making any money off shares that go into the company. No Dilutions for a long time.
But you bring up a good question inside of your comment. Where is AFTC getting there money to keep going? There has to be more contracts or grants then we are aware of.... Or this next letter from Kathy will be, We are out of money and done.
Truth be told, many have lost sight of what this company really is. The more we scream DME, the more we lose focus. They are a pump company. To have DME take off in the world is not up to AFTC in any way, shape, form or even with in there area of expertise.
Heck, if it is up to AFTC to get DME going, then we are in trouble and so is DME
The one contract that AFTC has been working on for the government does not even have anything to do with DME.
AFTC is the middle man, They make the pumps that put the DME from the tank, to the engine.
Just a thought.
Happy 4th.. Buckle Up!! Go AFTC!!
I am with you! The only thing that I am giving up on is worrying about the day to day. I refuse to worry about what I have no control over.
It will happen.
still holding my shares, just running out of time to give to the cause.
Hey All, I am thinking of shutting down the AFTC Facebook Fan page at this point. We have had very little interest, and I am not interested in being the admin for it any longer. If you are interested in taking it on, Just thought I would give you fair warning.
Could use a "suddenly" moment right about now.
That has been the Ihub company line since 2009. I will say that I agree/hope you are right. But we are going to need a AFTC that is better managed. I am convinced more then ever that the company itself has not interest in seeing it PPS rise or fall.
Man I hope we can do better the 50% in a year... We had been at .004 before the news was dug up that Jim was dead and I bought some of my shares at .05 in 2009.
Correct. The USA just needs a reason and a partner. I hate to burst everyones bubble who are echo friendly, HOWEVER, But politicians could care less about echo fuel. We need another reason to change over to DME and I can tell you right now a very good reason that the government can get on board with would be security. And to buy DME or natural gas that can be converted to DME from our one and only friend in the middle east is a start.
Here is why I say that talking to politicians is pointless and gets us no where. Democrats claim to care about the echo, but when they had control of all 3 parts of the government, they only made regulations that would funnel tax money to the government, NOT help change the fuel infrastructures.
The USA has a lot of natural gas, DME has a way go allowing natural gas to be used in cars, trucks, trains and boats, EVEN PLANES!! The smart money on AFTC having movement is to team up with Natural Gas.
I agree, I spoke via e-mail with an Israeli company that is refining DME and they know of AFTC.
If you all want to know where DME is going to come from that will help the USA get going, it is Israel. They can take the place of the middle east oil in the area of Natural Gas to DME conversion.

I think that you are all amazing folks. However, can I just say, It should not be up to us to save this stock!!
Has anyone ever heard of a company where it was dependent on its share holders to get the news out about the company itself.
This is one reason why it is important to note that a product is only as good as the work that the company is willing to do to get its product seen.
AFTC may be doing all that it can. Usually it is the job of the share holders to hold the company responsible, not hold its hand.
Jus saying...
I hear you LUNA TIC!
I would rather they keep current on their filings and do NO updates rather then give an update that is nothing more then a re cap of things that we already know.
Great! I am out of the e-mailing Kathy game.
Looks like you gave her a good list if questions.
Being that my e-mail posted Friday night was the only one until today posted to I hub, I feel some what that Kathy is accusing me of pasteing e-mails in a way as to change them. I have sent her an e-mail to ask if this is the case, if she is, I will post all e-mail exchanges.
The other two are very mundane if you ask me and were more clarifications to the an assumption I made to her on the first e-mail she responded to, and that I posted.
I did not make that same assumptions in my ihub post, only in my response to Kathy on the e-mail response to me that I posted. So I felt no need to post her response.
The e-mail I posted was not altered an any way other then to take out my personal info.
I totally agree! I think that making Kathy feel that we are not her enemy is important. I feel that many on this board had a good relationship with Jim. There is no reason we cannot have the same relationship with Kathy.
All good things. I do feel we need to continue to hold AFTC responsible to give us good, articulate, and accurate updates and financials to help us spread the word to serious investors. Good start, let's see some Improvment now.
That clears it up for me a bit.
I am excited about the contract with the"Major Defense" company.
I am hopeful that AFTC has turned the corner from R/D to in house production.
And if the in house production makes parts for Defense purpose, well, you do the math.
Cool.
Hey All, can anyone answer this question form?
"Phase II contracts have a duration of two years, and the start date of the contract was August 2011. As we reported in our December 2013 update, the contract had to be reapproved and extended upon Jim’s death. This contract was completed December 31, 2013. We do not hold any other SBIR contracts at this time".
Does this quote from the update mean that AFTC was not selected to continue there contract that was resubmitted?
They re submitted the contract, and now hop NO SBIR contracts at this time.
Kathy's Response!
Dear --------------,
First, yes, I have addressed ALL questions and concerns sent to me by email
or phone since the time we first asked stockholders to send correspondence
to us in this manner. That was posted in our December 2013 statement. This
is the first email I have received from you.
Second, I will try to explain items you have mentioned that I have already
posted to all stockholders.
If we are awarded the manufacture of 100 pumps the revenue would be $300K.
If we are awarded the manufacture of 300 pumps the revenue would be $900k.
The contract that I previously stated Jim was working on in our December
statement is the one that we are currently working on.
Your third concern will be addressed along with requests from other
stockholders on our website.
Hope this helps.

Here is what I sent to Kathy on my own.
Hi Kathy, As I am sure you are hearing from many investors today. Your update was found lacking. Were the e-mails you received from folks really regarding who your shell company was before you became AFTC? ( This is old news ) VERY OLD NEWS.
Here are a list of question I have.
1) "100 – 300 pumps ($300K – $900K)” what does the ($300K – $900K) mean? is this the potential per pump based on the request.
2) A bit more detail of weather AFTC is interested in moving from R/D to manufacturing would be helpful.
3) Anything at all on the contract that Jim tried to negotiate before his death that you mentioned in our prior update?
If you update is really designed to answer question could you post some questioned asked with your response?
Thank you for you time,
Agreed.
True on all counts Nikki. I agree with you.
