Zeppo - After several inquiries I was informed that a new submission was submitted :( No guidance on how that affects timelines of EPA approval.
>> management and its "advisors" not informing shareholders as to the status of the EPA situation
Go - If that is true (and I can't tell you if institutional investors look here. I would be very surprised if they do but maybe WIV could comment on that), then all the negativity is doing is saving them some time. Because if they look deeper they will see what is causing the negativity.
That being said I still think this is a great investment for us regular folks, in the sense that the risk/reward at 6 cents is very promising.
What I find encouraging about this news as compared to the Wood Wyant sales is that these guys put the order in after 6 months of working on it. They should have a good idea what the response will be to sales efforts. WW bought them at the onset on a hope and we all know where that got them.
If they can be successful, it definitely buys us time waiting for with EPA. It is interesting that SA doesn't seem to have the same issues as Gelati has - they don't think they need to wait for EPA approval. We can always hope Europe will follow.
Hey there are companies that do very nicely never selling in the Good 'Ole USA :)
Go - still waiting for EPA, but I'll never complain about real Sales!! Some volume this morning but not enough to make it interesting. Surprised that the board hasn't commented on it.
Now that the bank holiday is over - my money is on the news being about Groundel funding being finalized.
WIV at least one of your many valid points regarding Boyd was answered today - 150,000 options @ .05.
"Further, if Boyd really did know something re: the inferred positive future of MZEI, as an intelligent person he would have sought and been granted stock options. The Form 3 filed last week addresses no such award. The “Executive Employment Agreement” link on the 8-K doesn’t work, so who knows what the employment agreement says. "
Good question and I have no good answer. I'm not being critical of the effort, I'm just trying to see this through logically and don't see how this gets us any closer to the goal. If Florida is getting tired do they need us to organize a meeting for them to get rid of Ed?
I'm at a loss at what to do and maybe doing "anything" is better than doing "nothing"- perhaps.
Maybe an effort aimed at the Florida group would lead to some movement. I don't know - but it seems they hold all the cards right now.
Can someone explain the purpose of this endeavor. Maybe I'm obtuse but this is how I see it.
If the Florida group controls the company then there is no chance of a change in management without their vote. A meeting will not help in that matter (are we counting on WIV or NSD to make such a compelling speech that they convince them to change their current mindset?(assuming they have minds!).
So maybe the idea is to get some information on the current state of the company. Does Ed even legally need to show up if he doesn't want to? If he does come - will he answer any questions? Or will he shrug his shoulders or look at the ground like some teenagers I know(“Look at me when I’m talking to you”!)
So although I agree the current state of affairs is deplorable to what end is this meeting going to engender change?
ok - I don't have your information to compare his comments to...
I've sent several e-mails to IR trying to get an answer if they needed to submit a completely new submission to EPA. They have gone unanswered :(
Zeppo - For shareholders that can't make the call, due to conflicts, will you be posting some sort of recap?
That's good - Having owned Medizone for 17 years I stay away from windows and ledges...
BenK - While I agree that this proposed shareholder call will accomplish little (other than give us some venue to vent) why are you only offering to sponsor Zeppo's trip? All shareholders are entitled to hear from management about the companies current state of affairs. If you don't mind when booking my flight skip the redeye, I'd rather fly back during the day :)
This is the e-mail I sent to IR two weeks ago. Still waiting for some response:

Thanks John - I ... am very happy to hear that we got clearance in SA. I am still hoping to get some updates on EPA.
Will they need to start over?
If they haven't decided yet - when will a decision be made?
If they do start over what is the earliest we can expect a decision? Are we looking at 2017 etc...
While I know management can't say when EPA will decide there are many questions that they can answer.
Thanks
Moon
Saudi Arabia approval.
Medizone’s AsepticSure is Showcased at the Saudi International Aloumran Health Exhibition 2016
Al Hidaya has achieved both the Minister of Health (MOH), and Saudi FDA approval for AsepticSure, and may now enter the government and private hospital disinfection market. Al Hidaya holds the belief AsepticSure will prove to be very successful in Saudi Arabia due to its ability to not only defeat all of the bacterial pathogens associated with hospital acquired infections, but also MERS – CoV. The Minister of Health’s website recently reported that 43% of Coronavirus infections are acquired in-hospital. Given the high mortality rate for MERS-Co V patients and with the significant impact on hospital staff as well, AsepticSure adoption holds the potential of being of primary importance for the medical community in the Kingdom.
BenK - This wasn't a visit specific to Medizone. She visited numerous companies in Innovation Park. Why couldn't Shannon/Zoutman get in the door with this data several years ago?
Premier tours Innovation Park
BenK - I might have agreed with you in the past that there was some activity going on - perhaps Ed was unlocking the office door and maybe even turning on the lights. But now that it has been reported that the office is vacant, it is very possible that he is doing nothing. The alternative is perhaps he drives to the office, unlocks door, relocks said door and drives back home?
>> assumption that the absence of news is equal to the absence of activity, and in the past this has not necessarily been true.
Time will tell if it was a good catch, but I already know it is better than the shares I purchased at .09, and even better than the ones I bought at .19 and we won't even mention how it compares to the ones I bought at .65!!
I helped - I picked up 100,000 shares at .04
>> In addition MZEI trying hard to move up somewhat at the very end of the day ??????
Yet they keep giving themselves options. Maybe not illegal, but certainly unethical.
Looks like there is selling this morning - no surprise. I still think if this goes below .05 it's a good buy. History tells us it will go back up on some news. I'm holding long, but might add some for a quick flip.
It keeps getting worse. All of Marshalls backers will say that he hired a firm to advise on the EPA process. Does it occur to any of them that maybe, like most of his past hirings, he hired a lousy firm? Considering his track record on hiring
PR people.. Money TV .. Manufacturing ... IR etc..
Why would anyone think he actually hired a competent firm?
10K Out - Looks like we may have to restart the timetable on the EPA?
From 10-K
The Company continues to work with the EPA to satisfy final requirements for approval of the system. The unique characteristics of the AsepticSure® method have resulted in more protracted review and testing associated with EPA clearance than originally anticipated by our technical advisors. The most recent meetings with the agency and Company representatives in February 2016 resulted in our agreement to provide additional test results with multiple-assayed diluted peroxide mixtures to standards requested by the EPA. Those tests, once completed, will be submitted to the EPA by our advisors. This process may require that we withdraw our previous application and submit the new results as a new filing with the agency, as directed by our legal and technical team in Washington, D.C.
10-K
The current share price tells us all we need to know how they are working. Complete failures - at this point. Will it change? Perhaps. At this point I have no understanding of how Ed morally justifies his job performance and how he feels justified in denying the shareholders their right to vote on how the current management is doing their job.
>> I have no knowledge of how company management is working.
Gelati - He is correct on the only point that matters :(
"MEDIZONE IS FAILING"
Power - As an investor in a publicly traded company there is supposed to be a 4th option - VOTE. Unfortunately Ed has taken that right away from us.
As far as selling - Not all of us have that choice. I'm not looking to sell shares bought in 60 cent range and with the current volume it would be difficult for me to liquidate my position.
>> Investor choices are few...buy, sell or hold.
While it is true the "teaser" info might not be accurate, the facts unfortunately certainly seem to back it up. No mention of EPA in their latest update, even though by all accounts there should have been some information good/bad by this time.
Also interesting to note that BenK, who usually offers up a different interpretation based on his sources, had little to say regarding this.
Certainly suspicious when the latest update makes no mention of EPA. Right now that is the only news anyone is interested in. The omission was glaring.
Something doesn't sound right(what else is new).
Could the EPA really be that dysfunctional? All they needed was some paperwork showing which supplier Medizone is using - they received it a while ago and still no news. Certainly sounds like there is more to this than just incompetence or dysfunction.
Would have been nice to hear some mention of EPA in the last Shareholder communication.
"the paperwork was delivered a while ago to the EPA, and they are awaiting approval on this final point"
wstinsider - The current valuation is indicative of the investment communities confidence in Eds ability to successfully market this technology i.e. they have none.
My 2 cents on EPA - unfortunately I don't have a good feeling. Supposedly they have everything they need to approve it. They know it is potentially life saving. Why would they delay approving until the last minute while lives are being lost. As dysfunctional as government can be it's hard to believe the individuals who are involved would willingly cause lives to be lost. That leads me to believe we will not be getting good news anytime soon. I hope I am very wrong.
They need to do more than promote the company. What experienced investor would put money into a company run by current management? There is a reason why we are at 10 cents - not just because of the EPA uncertainty.
NSD - Considering they just raised $1 million it certainly seems they are in it for the long haul. Also if they expected the share price to rise significantly in the near-term why sell shares at 10 cents? Either the near term looks bleak to them, or they are even bigger fools than any of us could have imagined :(
Power - Some of the naysayers didn't just "arrive". They've been invested in this stock for 15-20 years. They've been told many things that never came to pass ..
>>NAYSAYERS arrive in bulk.
The skepticism isn't limited to this board - it doesn't look like the market thought much of this "good" news either.
>> Unfortunately, that is the rub of the MEDIZONE BOARD.
Looks like they need approval in SA
"GYD S.A. will lead the regulatory approval process throughout South America "
>> I don't know that Esposito has anything to do with it.
Shouldn't he have? It is obvious the company is floundering under current management. As a member of the board shouldn't he be giving them direction?
WIV - Why isn't Esposito able to get Ed to get the trails moving forward?
New PM in Canada plans to raise taxes and increase spending. Maybe there will be more $ for healthcare initiatives.
NSD - A perfect description of the current situation and Ed.
"Until ASure is in credible hands, don't expect much more than wheel spinning and continued stock delusion".
Has anyone tried John Pentony? Since this is public information can't Medizone's IR provide some insight into what is going on over there?
BenK - I understand the difference you are making and hope you are correct.
However it definitely seems that they aren’t there 100% just yet - don’t know if there are different agencies with conflicting agendas etc.. I hope not, because that very often doesn’t end in a good way.
